Here comes the next chapter of Undercover.
Chapter 21: Battle of the Great Valley
In the Mysterious Beyond, it is quiet, soon a truck passed and another one followed.
Richard and the Allied force are driving and Flying back to the Great Valley.
They have a simple mission, defend the Great Valley, and crush the enemy at it's entrance.
It toke two days to reach the Great Valley, they encountered some friendly Sharpteeth and fast biters that wanted to join them and fight against Argentino, Utah, and Tarbo.
The group stopped at the entrance, standing guard is an adult Swimmer.
Richard came to the Swimmer.
" Hello there." Richard said.
The Swimmer saw Richard and got into a defensive stance.
" Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a minute, we are not here to harm you or anyone in the Great Valley. I have a message for Grandpa Longneck and Mr. Threehorn." Richard said.
The Swimmer then looks at Richard.
" How do you know the Great Valley leaders?" The Swimmer asks.
Richard was about to answer, until Ducky came up to the Swimmer.
" Because they helped me and my friends, they are not normal fast biters." Ducky said, Richard showed his AKS-74U.
The Swimmer immediately recognized the weapon that he saw years ago. He looked at Ducky again, as he too recognized her.
" Ducky? Is that you? " The Swimmer asks.
" Yes it is me. Who are you?" Ducky asks.
" Ducky, it's me, your brother Neddie." The male Swimmer said.
Ducky looked at him, then after a while recognized him.
She got a tear into her eye, as she hugged him.
" Oh Neddie. I missed you. Look how much you have grown." Ducky said.
" Is Spike still with you?" Neddie asks.
" Yes brother, I am here." Spike said, surprising Neddie.
Spike chuckled, the look on his Swimmer brother's face was priceless.
" Spike you finally talk." Neddie said.
" As I got older I learned to talk, but I am still the same Spike you know, despite that I am bigger now."
" Excuse me, still here." Richard interrupted.
The three looked at the Fast biter, and realized that they came here to not just talk.
" Oh right. Well things have changed a little since you left the Great Valley." Neddie says.
" What do you mean?" Chomper asks.
" Come with me, I will tell you everything while we go to the meeting place." Neddie says.
Soon the Allied force came into the Great Valley. Neddie saw Sharptooth, Doc, and Dara on flatbed trucks. He was concerned about seeing and letting Sharptooth in, but Richard gave Neddie a look that says, ' Trust me.' Soon he saw small and big dinosaurs came in, and all the military equipment was unloaded. The Airplanes and helicopters also brought in more dinosaurs and equipment in.
Soon Richard asked Neddie.
" So what has been going on for the passed few years?" Richard asks.
" Well a lot of things. Well as you know, we doubled our security here in the Great Valley. Two more Sharpteeth came but they came to look for Chomper." Neddie said.
" Where these Sharpteeth green and are male and female?" Chomper asked.
" Yes." Neddie said. " You know them?"
" They are my parents. Are they in the Great Valley? " Chomper asks.
" No and Yes. They don't live 'in' the Great Valley, but they do live out in the Great Valley near the wall. They provide protection and limit their hunting, in exchange they get to live near the Great Valley. " Neddie said.
Chomper is happy to hear the news that his parents are close by and doing well.
" How are Red Claw, Screech and Thud doing? Last time I was here, I helped them with their wounds." Richard said.
" They healed really well, and have been given some food when Chomper's parents and helped them recover. They return back to the Mysterious Beyond. They still to hunt for food like normal, but they too had limited their efforts to get on the Great Valley's side, incase they ever get into serious trouble they will be helped out." Neddie.
Littlefoot and Cera thought of his grandmother and her father, for they two were also injuried Sharptooth attacked them year ago.
" How is my grandmother? " Littlefoot asks.
" And my father?" Cera asks.
Neddie looks at Littlefoot and Cera.
" Your father recovered really well and is still leading the Great Valley. Your grandmother recovered as well Littlefoot. But however recently, both of your grandparents have been sick for the passed few days. They had handover power to recover. The residents believe they are dying of old age."
Cera was happy her father recovered and is still leading, Littlefoot was happy that his grandmother recovered from her injury, but was sadden to hear his grandparents are deathly ill. His friends embraced him. Then Neddie said more.
" But don't worry, it isn't just Mr. Threehorn alone, when you left the Great Valley a few years back, your father Bron and his herd of Longnecks came here, he was looking for you. But when your grandparents got ill, your father settled the herd here and toke over the leadership from your grandparents."
Littlefoot was very excited to hear that his father is here and he is the leader of the Great Valley alongside Mr. Threehorn.
" Is Shorty here as well? " Littlefoot asks.
" As a matter of fact yes." Neddie said.
Littlefoot was very excited to see his brother and father again after not seeing for many years. And he wants to also see his ill grandparents as well.
Miller then gets everybody's attention.
" Hey sorry for breaking up the reunion and catching up on current events, but we got a serious situation that we have to address the residents and the leadership." Miller said.
" What is it? " Neddie asks.
" We need to call for an important meeting and also tell the residents and leaders to show what we have just discovered. It is very shocking when you about it." Miller said.
Neddie nodded his head.
" I will tell everyone to come to the meeting place, you head over there and wait for everyone to arrive." Neddie said.
Soon the group, including Doc, Dara, and Sharptooth are waiting. Doc and Dara go off the flatbed trucks, Sharptooth was still on the Flatbed truck he is on, and still strapped on. Richard and Miller both explain that it is to ensure the residents that he is not threat and that they want to show the residents the evidence they discovered and the story that they learned happened, after that they will let Sharptooth stretch his legs.
Richard and Miller are very nervous, they may have an allied force, but they might ask for volunteers to help them fight the enemy coming toward them. The enemy might be bigger than they think, after the meeting is done Richard will ask for volunteers and also send some recon planes to get real time information from the air.
Soon the residents came to meeting place, including Bron and Mr. Threehorn. Littlefoot completely understood why is his grandparents are not here, he will get to talk to them later.
Cera is happy to see her father, her stepmother Tria and her half sister Tricia. Mr. Threehorn and Tria have gotten older. Tricia is teenager almost close to an adult. Miller nods at Mr. Threehorn who nods back.
" I see you got a lot better since the last time I saw you." Miller said.
" Well can't let a wound keep a Threehorn down for too long. Besides it wasn't super bad. " Mr. Threehorn said.
" Now Topsy, no need to be tough to admit that you need help." Tria said.
Mr. Threehorn smiled at her and looked at Miller.
" Thanks for looking after my daughter Miller."
" We do what we can. " Miller said.
Cera came to her father and nuzzles him as a family is reunited, and Littlefoot also got to see his brother and father for the first time in years. Bron also got older too, and Shorty has grown into an adult Longneck like Littlefoot.
Petrie got to see his mother for the first time in years, Neddie lead Ducky and Spike to their mother and father as they too had a reunion, they all were surprised to hear Spike talk. But they were just happy to see them again.
Chomper's Parents were invited to come to the meeting, so they too got their chance to have a reunion with Chomper and get to thank Ruby for looking out for Chomper over the years while they were away. Ruby's family was not there, but she decided to ask for someone to send a message to her family after the battle is over.
Richard soon gets everyone's attention.
" Good morning everyone, I am Richard, and this is Miller, Some of you might remember us as the fast biters that protected Littlefoot and the gang from Sharptooth years ago in a small brief fight and got them to safety. They here now safe and sound just as I promised a few that I would. Today I want to address two issues that will shock you and possibly might terrify you at the name time." Richard address the crowd.
The residents mutter among themselves.
" What are the issues? " A Swimmer asked.
" The issue or subject we are going to address is Sharptooth." Richard said as he turned to flatbed truck with Sharptooth still strapped down. The residents see Sharptooth and are terrified, but Miller claim the situation down.
" Do not worry, Sharptooth is not going to kill you, he made a promise. And he is strapped down for now for you to not go into full panic." Miller said.
Then Hyp, Nod, and Mutt who are now grown up, spoke up.
" He made a promise? How do we know that he won't try to attack us again like he did last time." Hyp said.
" Yeah, like he did last time." Nod repeated.
" What is it that you are about to tell us that makes a bit of difference? We all know he is a killer and he has killed many dinosaurs without any mercy." Mutt said.
Even though Sharptooth was strapped down and he made his promise, but he was really getting angry, at what the Valley residents are saying about him, dispite it being true. Sharptooth growled at the residents as they backed away.
Richard gave Sharptooth a look that said, ' I'll handle this. Just don't listen to them. They will understand when I tell them the story.' Richard turned back to the crowd.
" I completely understand why you say that. And I know that some of you lost loved ones to him. But what I am about to tell you, along with Doc's side of the story, along with proof that we discovered recently in Paradise Valley, that we have been staying for a few years." Richard said as he turned to Doc and gave him a look that says, ' Tell them, Doc.'
Doc nodded and came forward to address the crowd.
" Richard, Littlefoot and his friends discovered is a past that you do not know about Me and Sharptooth. Years ago, Me and Sharptooth had our friends that we hung around with. One day, while I was doing exploring like a normal Longneck hatchling would do and Sharptooth practicing his hunting skills. We bumped into each other, at first we kind of saw each other as rivals, but over time that rivalry changed to friendship. Just like Littlefoot and Chomper we hung out together and played games and explored more places then ever before. While we were developing our friendship, our parents disapprove our friendship saying that one day we would in up fighting each other in the future. Our friends named Argentino, Utah, and Tarbo, who found out about our friendship backed up our parents. So we defied our parents and friends and continue to see each other. Then one night when we had enough of the lecture from our parents and friends, we left our nests and this time for good. When we left we made each other a promise and became best friends. The next morning our friends tried to separate us and tried to destroy our friendship, me and Sharptooth fought and defeated them together. Longneck and Sharptooth vs Longneck, Fast-biter, and Sharptooth. It was a 2 vs 3. We won the fight and became best friends. While our friends no longer were our friends anymore they became our enemies as we fled with honor." Doc told the story.
The Valley residents, including Mr. Threehorn and Bron are amazed. They never heard that a Longneck and Sharptooth fought side by side against an enemy made of not only a Sharptooth and a Fast-biter, but also a Longneck as well.
Then Mrs. Swimmer spoke up.
" Very interesting story. But I do have a question. What happened years ago that made you both turn on each other and becomes enemy and then stand next to each other not attacking each other right now?"
Doc was about to speak, but Richard beat him to it.
" Miller will answer that question. " Richard said, as Miller came forward.
" To answer your question. I will have to tell a horrible series of crimes happened that brought a friendship to it's knees and also created an investigation to find the real truth. But be warned, what we found is shocking beyond believe and very disturbing at the same. It is not pretty. This story is based off of witness accounts, confessions from the accused, and forensic evidence found at the scenes of the crimes." Miller said.
Everyone understood the warning and prepared for they are about to hear.
" After Doc and Sharptooth left their former friends, now enemies. They kept each other alive and survive against all the odds against them. One day their enemies plotted their revenge and teamed up once against, but this to turn the two against each other to kill each other. One season Sharptooth was on the verge of starvation and about to die. Before Dara ever came into the picture, Doc had a female companion that got an interest into each other. Doc and his friend, tried to find some food to help Sharptooth. Doc went one way, his friend went another way. Sharptooth tried to rest before he got any food. Sharptooth heard a Longneck in distress, recognized it as Doc's lady friend. Sharptooth dispite being weak from lack of food, he found the strength to go to her aid. Sharptooth got there to find his and Doc's enemies holding her down. Dispite being weak, Sharptooth had enough strength to fight them and try to save Doc's friend. But Sharptooth lost, Doc's friend was murdered. I will spear you the brutilty of the murder, but it was horrible. Doc found his lady friend dead, Sharptooth covered in her blood. The enemy has framed him and turned a friend against friend. Soon Doc and Sharptooth went separate ways and never looked back. A year later another tragedy happened. Sharptooth found a mate and she laid their hatchlings, the hatchlings were in their eggs, not yet ready to come out. Sharptooth's mate was now resting after she delivered her eggs, and Sharptooth went to get her food and went to the Great Valley." Miller said as he stopped the story.
Cera and Littlefoot came forward and address the crowd.
" Most of you heard the story of the Lone Dinosaur." Littlefoot said.
" The story that we have heard, is part of their lives that we heard, but what your about to hear next is something never heard before the aftermath of the first fight between Doc and Sharptooth in the Great Valley. " Cera said.
Miller speaks again.
" I like to turn it over to Richard, he will tell you the rest of the story, and also tell you what had been going for the few years while we were gone, and also tell you the reason why we came back."
" Thanks Miller, now everyone may I have your attention please?" Richard asks.
Everyone focused on him.
" Thank you. Here is the rest of story. When the fight was over, Doc was wounded on his right eye, while Sharptooth survived the fall, he was unconscious for a few hours to a day. Doc found Sharptooth's mate and gave her a fair but stern warning to stay away from the Great Valley and left. When that happened, moments later Doc and Sharptooth's enemies returned, this targeting her and her unborn hatchlings. Now from evidence we gathered at the crime scene. Their enemies attacked Sharptooth's mate, and dispite her laying her eggs, she still had enough energy to fight back, but they overpowered her, threatened her hatchlings, sexually assaulted her, and killed her. And they also destroyed and killed the hatchlings destroying Sharptooth's family." Richard said.
Everyone was shocked and horrified to hear what had and now begin to understand Sharptooth.
Then Richard began again.
" After Sharptooth discovered his family was murdered, he believed it was Doc and vowed a killing of all Longnecks and anyone getting in his way. Littlefoot, Cera, and Littlefoot's Mother were one of the few that got in his way, and Littlefoot's Mother was the one that die and payed the price for saving her son and Cera. Did Sharptooth kill Littlefoot's Mother? Yes. But is he fully responsible? No. Doc and Sharptooth's enemies created the chaos to get revenge. But what they didn't count on, was us being created as a result of the chaos they created. When we found them and started investigating them, they were about to attack Paradise Valley, but a fire broke out and we put it out and stopped them. They confessed to the murders and other crimes. But they escaped, but we learned from a deserter that the enemy of Doc and Sharptooth are coming with an army to destroy the Great Valley. " Richard said.
Everyone then got scared, a war is coming toward them. Richard then addressed them.
" That is why we came back, we came with allies from other Valley's nearby and got them to join us, since this is your home, we want to ask to help us fight against this enemy and protect your home and your families from this evil force coming. And I ask you now. Will you join me and my team to stop this evil and save the Great Valley? If you don't want to join the fight. I understand, but you must take shelter until the fight is over." Richard asks in a statement.
There is muttering going on, Richard, Miller, and the team wonder what they are going to do. Richard was getting nervous. Then Mr. Threehorn was the first to come forward.
" I came to the Great Valley years ago, start a life with my daughter, but while raising my daughter I became a leader of the Great Valley along with Grandpa Longneck. I found my love Tria and be given a second daughter Tricia. I lived a good life, I will not let the life that I built together for years to be torn apart, by this evil force ." Mr. Threehorn said
" So you are going to help us?" Miller asks.
" Yes. You that a Threehorn like me is not going to out without a fight." Mr. Threehorn answers.
" I will join you as well." Bron said.
" Me too." Shorty said.
Soon other came foward, Richard, Miller, and the team are amazed that the residents are willing to defend their home and their families. Richard then realized he has won the crowd by telling the truth and asked for the residents to fight for their right to live here and have families here.
Soon everyone is preparing for the battle as guns and explosives are set up, everyone was trained to prepare for the fight. Richard then sent Petrie and a few Drones to scout out for the enemy and report back what they find.
Meanwhile Richard and Littlefoot go see Grandpa and Grandma Longneck.
The senior Longnecks got to see their grandson for the first time in years. They have waited for his return.
" Littlefoot is that you?" Grandma Longneck asks.
" Yes Grandma, it's me." Littlefoot says.
Littlefoot and Grandma Longneck nuzzles each other, then Littlefoot go see's his Grandpa, while they talk, Grandma Longneck gets Richard's attention.
" Thank you for taking care and protecting our Grandson, Richard. You have kept your word. " Grandma Longneck said.
" I just only did what I had to do to keep him safe. By the way, how are you doing?" Richard asks.
" Oh don't worry about us we are fine." Grandma Longneck said trying to sound like they are fine. But Richard wasn't going to be fooled that easy. Grandma Longneck saw that he wasn't going to be convinced that easily. " Me and Grandpa Longneck are dying, Richard. We have reached our limit, we expect to live for a few more night circles." Grandma Longneck says.
Richard was saddened to hear this, knows Littlefoot will be heartbroken more since they are his grandparents and he has been with them since his mother was killed by his mother.
" Bron came by earlier and told me what happened years between Doc and Sharptooth. Is it true?" Grandma Longneck asks.
" Yes it is true." Richard said.
Grandma Longneck nodded her head.
" Such a shame that such friends would betray the other to chaos." Grandma Longneck says with disappointment.
" I was shocked as well when I learned about it." Richard said.
Soon two more came. Grandma Longneck looks at them and says.
" Good to see you again." Grandma Longneck says.
" Good to see you. It's time for some medicine again." The male dinosaur said.
Littlefoot looked and saw it is the rainbow faces from years ago.
The rainbow faces gave both Grandma and Grandpa Longneck the Night Flower. Which is like medicine for dinosaurs.
After awhile the rainbow faces pack their stuff up.
" Well we better be off, we have to get our medical supplies ready for the upcoming battle." Female rainbow face says.
Then they left. Richard and Littlefoot had to say good bye to Grandma and Grandpa Longneck for the time being.
" Richard, just promise me you will keep Littlefoot safe." Grandma Longneck says.
" I will." Richard said.
Richard and Littlefoot left to go meet up with the team. When they got their Petrie returned along with the drones, Miller came to Richard.
" Richard, we got bad news, Argentino, Utah, and Tarbo have got not only Fast-biters and Sharpteeth, but they got leaf eating dinosaurs to join them, our intelligence tells us the leaf eating dinosaurs only joined to steal the Great Valley from it's residents. And the enemy has weapons and vehicles, they even have tanks." Miller said.
" What kind of tanks?" Richard asks.
" They have the old soviet T-72 tanks." Miller said.
Richard didn't even get nervous, as a matter of fact he felt confident.
" You don't look so surprised." Miller said.
" The T-72 is a nice tank and all, but it is completely outdated, and plus I have weapons and tanks that counter them." Richard said.
" You have the Tow missiles?" Miller asks.
" Yes. And we also have the M1A2 Abrams tanks." Richard said.
Miller then smiled, he remembered seeing an American Abrams tank destroy a Soviet copy Iraqi built T-72 like it was nothing.
" If we can catch the enemy by surprise then we can defeat them." Miller said.
" I have plan for this just wait and see." Richard said.
" So where will you be? " Miller asked.
" In the lead tank." Richard said. " Miller, here is what I have in mind."
Richard whispered in Miller's ear, he then smiled at Richard, who nodded.
" That will work really well. " Miller said.
" You bet your ass it will." Richard said.
Richard and Miller gets into their positions.
Everyone in the Valley is getting ready for the up coming battle, Richard and Miller warned that there will be casualties, Richard expects theirs to be light and the enemy heavy, but he also knew you can't always expect it to go your way, you have to get ready, train everyone to their best, and survive the fight.
Littlefoot and the gang are walking around seeing how everyone is preparing.
The Longnecks are including his father Bron, and his brother Shorty, Doc, Dara, and Sinclair, are being used as cranes, scouts, and front line defense. The Threehorns including Topps, Tria, Tricia, and Cera, they are the Cavalry that will charge at the enemy when they run. The Swimmers, including Ducky's family are loaders helping the fast biters load their Artillery guns. Ducky felt safe there. The Flyers including Petrie are going to be used as the Great Valley Air Force, while the Allied Air Forces will use their fighters and bomber aircraft and helicopters. The Spiketails including Spike are going to be used as front line defense and surprise counterattack. The Sharpteeth including Chomper, Sharptooth, Chomper's parents, and surprisingly Red Claw are going to be part of the assault teams helping out the tanks push the enemy back. The fast runners including Ruby are the suppliers to the front line. The Rainbow Faces are the medics. And last but not least the Fast biters have various tasks, they control the weapons and vehicles that the other dinosaurs can't operate.
The fast biters are busy at work preparing 'crows nests' and bunkers to to help stall the enemy.
Littlefoot was walking around enjoy the air.
" Care if I join you?" A female voice said.
Littlefoot turns and see's a grown purple Longneck and he now remembers her.
" Ali?" Littlefoot asks.
" Yes Littlefoot, it's me." Ali says.
The Littlefoot and Ali nuzzles each other.
" You have grown Littlefoot." Ali said.
" So have you Ali. What are you doing here?" Littlefoot asks.
" The Old One and the herd settled here after we heard what happened. I try to look for you and your friends, but both of your grandparents and your friends parents said you and your friends left the Valley after Sharptooth attacked with two Fast-biters protecting you. At first I refused to believe it, until the two Fast-biters came back with you and told us what happened back in the past between Sharptooth and his old friend Doc. So now we are at war against an enemy trying to wipe us out." Ali said.
" Don't worry Ali, Richard and Miller have a plan to stop them." Littlefoot said.
" So that's their names." Ali stated.
" Yes, they have been by our side since they saved us." Littlefoot said.
Ali nodded at this, she then thought of something that she was afraid to say when she was younger.
" Littlefoot?" Ali asks.
" Yes Ali?" Littlefoot asks back.
" I have been wanting to tell you something." Ali said.
" What is it?" Littlefoot asks.
" ever since we first met, I liked you, at the time I thought of you as friend and nothing more of it, and when I met your other friends, you shown me that no matter what species we all are, we are all judged by not what on the outside, it's the inside that counts. Now after growing up and learn what my feelings are toward you have been. What I trying to say Littlefoot is..." Ali stopped.
Littlefoot noticed this.
" Yes Ali?" Littlefoot asks.
" I love you, Littlefoot." Ali said as her checks turn pink.
Littlefoot heard what Ali said, his checks are pink too, but he recovered looked at Ali happily and nuzzles her with love. Ali looks at Littlefoot with surprise, but she accepted it and nuzzle back with love.
" I love you too, Ali." Littlefoot said.
The two nuzzle each other more.
Richard saw from afar and see Littlefoot and Ali in love.
" Way to go Littlefoot." Richard said, as he head back to battlefield.
Hours later, the Great Valley is fully ready for the upcoming enemy assault. Everything is tense. All the small hatchlings were taken to a shelter, everyone with a gun has their guns locked and loaded.
Browntooth got a Spaz 12 shotgun out, pumps it, and patrols the entrance of the Great Valley.
Soon a siren sounded, Browntooth knew the enemy is coming as he head into the trenches that were dug hours earlier.
Soon the enemy came in the first to come in were the enemy dinosaurs, which is made up of Longnecks, Threehorns, Swimmers, Flyers, Spiketails, and Sharpteeth, and Fast Runners. Then Argentino and Tarbo arrived. Followed by Utah in a T-72 tank, leading a column of T-72 tanks and BMP-1s light armor fighting infantry vehicles.
The enemy tanks move in, then explosions appear, Utah realized they are in a mine field.
Utah rushed his tank across the mine field, when the enemy crossed the mine field, the first line defense opened up.
Browntooth and his fast biters fired a rockets from six RPG-7s.
A few rockets miss their targets, others were lucky. One Rocket hit a T-72, the other hit a BMP-1, and last one hit a Sharptooth that fell to the ground hard taking out a few enemy Fast-biters with him, crushing them from the heavy weight.
Then one of the Browntooth's Fast-biters got an MG-42 out and opened fired at the enemy.
The enemy was caught off guard, the machine gun fire mowed down a hugh group of enemy Fast-biters that had guns. Richard did mention to them that the MG-42 was called "Hitler's Lawn Mower". It can take out a hugh group at a high rate of fire. The MG-42 was so good that the US military toke the MG-42 for studies and made the way for the M60 machine gun during the Vietnam War.
The Fast-biters shooting the MG-42 stopped because of the barrow getting hot, and had to change the barrow, but it was an easy fix, they replaced it, put ammo back in and started firing again.
When the enemy got closer, Browntooth then gave the order.
" Fall back! Fall back to the Stronghold!" Browntooth ordered.
So they started running just as a T-72 aimed it gun at their location and fired.
Browntooth and his packed were flown a few feet, but thankfully no one got killed as they got back up and ran.
Argentino, Utah, and Tarbo saw the small action, but they simply dismissed it as simply just a weak defense and are 100% confident they are going to win and wipe the Great Valley off the face of the earth.
The enemy then moved unopposed in the Great Valley, they didn't encounter any resistance, they basically just marched after that small encounter. Then they got to the center, which is the meeting place, the Valley was quiet, too quiet.
" Well that was easy." Utah said.
" Yeah, a little too easy." Tarbo answered.
" Where is everyone? " Argentino asks.
" They must have evacuated everyone and left the Great Valley to us." Tarbo said.
" You hear that boys! The Great Valley now in our control!" Utah said.
The enemy soldiers cheered, and we're about to celebrate. But Tarbo stopped.
" No time to celebrate, we need to secure the area." Tarbo said.
Just as Tarbo said that, a T-72 tank exploded, the tank crew were killed outside of their tank.
A Sharptooth asked.
" What was that?" A Sharptooth asked.
Then a nearby BMP-1 blew up.
Then enemy heard what sounded like tank tracks, what they saw horrified them.
They saw an M1M1A2 Abrams tank, followed by more Abrams tanks, then an M2 Bradley a tracked armored fighting infantry vehicle, and more Bradley s came.
The lead Abrams fire a shot destroying another T-72 tank.
The enemy tried to fight back, but we're beaten back, following the tanks are the Great Valley residents.
The Longnecks used their tails to tail whip the enemy, The Threehorns charged head on into Sharpteeth and Fast-biters taking them out.
The enemy that did get through, we're ambushed by the Spiketails. As they used their tails as weapons.
The fast runners and Swimmers are near Artillery guns as they load shells into the guns, as the Fast-biters fired the guns at the enemy giving the allies the edge in pushing the enemy back to the entrance.
" They are outgunning and outnumbering us." an enemy Fast biter said.
" Fall back!" An enemy Sharptooth said.
Argentino, Utah, and Tarbo saw their army fleeing and got angry.
" Where are you going?" Argentino asks.
" Get back here!" Tarbo commanded.
" Fuck you!" An enemy fast runner said as he and the army run.
The three saw their army running, as they pull back as well to the Great Valley main entrance.
Meanwhile Richard and Miller are outside the main tank and are happy with the results they are seeing. Miller is the driver of the lead tank, while Richard is the main tank commander of his Abrams tank.
" Now that is more like we got the enemy on the run." Richard said.
" Airborne enemy inbound!" Shorty yells.
True to his words, the enemy launched their Flyers and Flying Sharpteeth and old Mig-29 fighter planes, and old Russian Miller Mi-24 helicopters. But the airborne enemy coming in are about to get a suprise of their own.
Suddenly the enemy started getting hit by flak from antiaircraft guns and machine guns. After the enemy survive the antiaircraft fire, they got ambushed by the Flyers, Flying Sharpteeth, and the Allied Air Power.
The Dogfight in the air was tense, Petrie was flying around trying to avoid getting hit. Petrie then got by a bullet on his right as he goes down, just when he was about to crash hard to ground, Petrie closed his eyes and expected to die.
Just when he thought he was dropped he stopped. Petrie saw he was close to the tree line, but did not hit the ground.
Petrie looked at what happened and saw that an old Flyer caught him and saved him from the fall. The flyer put Petrie down to the ground.
" Let's take care of your wound." The flyer said.
Petrie looks at the flyer and then see's his face and he felt that he had seen him before.
" Thanks, Me thought was a goner. But who are you?" Petrie asks.
The old Flyer smiled.
" Please don't tell me you don't recognize your old Uncle Pterano." Pterano said.
Petrie then realized what the Flyer said, looked at him and then realize it is his uncle. Petrie hugged him as Pterano hugged back.
" Uncle Pterano. Me glad to see you." Petrie said.
" I am glad to see you again Petrie. I have wait for years to see you again." Pterano said.
Then a thought came to him.
" What are you doing in the Great Valley again, Uncle?" Petrie asks.
" I returned after my five cold times banishment was up a couple of years ago. I have been living here since I returned, I went to look for you, but I was told you the left the Great Valley after Sharptooth attacked." Pterano explained, as he got tree star to cover his wond.
Petrie exclaimed in pain after Pterano treated his wound and wrapped it up.
" Sorry. Now let's get you off the battlefield." Pterano said.
" What about my friends?" Petrie asks.
" They will be okay. They are safe, but you are wounded, you have to come to check on that wound." Pterano said, as he and his nephew walk.
Meanwhile back in the battlefield, the allied fast biters with heavy machine guns, are on Longneck, Threehorn, and Spiketail residents, in a basket protect them firing at the enemy gunning them down.
Other fast-biters are on the ground using their guns protecting the Allied Sharpteeth. Doc and Dara are holding off on their own fighting the enemy with ease.
Sharptooth was using all his brute strength to take out as many targets as he can. But he then got reckless, as Utah that is armed with a Barrett XM500 .50 caliber bullpup sniper rifle.
Utah got low to the ground, aimed his rifle at Sharptooth and fired a shot at him.
The .50 caliber bullet hit Sharptooth in the leg, Sharptooth roared in pain, as a small fast-biter jumped on his back and bit him.
Sharptooth tried to get the Fast-biter off of him, but because his leg is injured he can't get him off.
Doc saw his friend is in trouble, so he came to his aid and tailwhipped the fast-biter off him
Just as Doc went to Sharptooth's aid, Utah saw Doc, aimed his sniper rifle at him and fired another bullet at him.
Doc was hit in the leg as well as he exclaimed in pain. Sharptooth caught his friend before he fell.
Then Utah got another bullet ready to fire as he aimed waiting to take both Doc and Sharptooth out at the same time. Utah saw his chance.
" Good bye, my old friends." Utah said smiling evilly.
But before he could take a shot, a sniper fire was heard, then he got hit by a bullet.
Utah was killed by that shot.
Doc and Sharptooth figures where he and his friend was getting shot at, they figure they would be dead, but when heard that shot they didn't die, they heard the heard shot came behind them as they saw Browntooth with a M39 sniper rifle.
Doc and Sharptooth both gave the 'Thank you' nod, as Browntooth gave a 'Your welcome' Nod.
Browntooth then got a radio out.
" Black Alpha, Black Alpha. This is Brown Alpha over." Browntooth said.
" Brown Alpha, this is Black Alpha what is your status, over?" Richard's voice come out of the radio .
" Brown Alpha to Black Alpha, we are not in Utah anymore. I repeat, we are not at Utah anymore." Browntooth said.
" Roger Brown Alpha, continue the fight. Over." Richard said via radio.
" Roger that Brown Alpha out." Browntooth said as he moves on, Doc and Sharptooth get back up they then look for Argentino and Tarbo, for them it is payback time.
With the Allied Armed forces are now at the Great Valley main entrance kicking the last of the enemy out of the Great Valley for good.
Argentino and Tarbo got separated from their army and when they found Utah dead, Tarbo roared out in anger.
Argentino used his tail to silence Tarbo.
Tarbo almost Argentino, but stopped when he realized he just roared, putting them at risk of getting caught.
They tried to escape but their time has completely ran out as Argentino and Tarbo soon got caught and surrounded by the Allied Forces and the Great Valley residents. They all had vengeance in their eyes for attacking the Great Valley.
Then Tarbo said something as he got into a threatening position. And Argentino got into a fighting stance.
" Fight us!" Tarbo said.
Cera was about to strike but Richard stopped her and gave her a look that said, ' This challenge belongs to the ones that deserves it the most'
Cera then knew what that means.
Soon as Tarbo called for a challenge, Doc and Sharptooth came forward.
" Finally after all these years, we get to fight you both again." Argentino said.
" This time it is an even fight now." Doc said references to Utah not being present.
" It will not matter, even with Utah gone, we will still defeat you both and reclaim the honor you stole from us." Tarbo said.
" You will never get that honor, you murdered my friends love interest to frame me and you killed my mate and my hatchlings to frame my friend. But thanks to Richard and his team they discovered the truth and exposed your crimes and thaw your invasion to take and destroy the Great Valley. All because you didn't want flat teeth and Sharpteeth to be friends. But your plans only backfire made the fight to unite Flat teeth and Sharpteeth together as friends. And now you are going to pay for what you done. I am looking forward to this fight." Sharptooth said.
Then Tarbo and Sharptooth roared in the sky. As everyone cleared the area for the 2 vs 2 fight. Doc and Sharptooth vs Argentino and Tarbo. The sky turned red as the black smoke from the destroyed tanks adds an effect.
Everyone is now watching two former rivals that years ago fought against each other now are working together to fight against their arch enemies.
Tarbo made a fake charge, Sharptooth and Doc knew that Tarbo was trying to bait them into attacking them first, they are not going to be tricked like what happened in their last fight.
Argentino then saw that Doc and Sharptooth are not going to be tricked so Argentino launched his attack first.
Argentino used his tail and hit Sharptooth, Sharptooth toke the hit, he moved back a bit, but recovered, Doc rammed into Argentino knocking him down to the ground.
Tarbo then tried to attack Doc and bite him on the back, but Sharptooth blocked the attack, head butted Tarbo and knocked him down.
As Richard and the team, The Allied forces, and the Great Valley residents are watching the fight, Richard made a promise to not interfere with the fight, but just because he promised he wouldn't interfere with their fight, he was going to stop anyone else from trying to get in the way, and in that case, if enemy fast-biters tried to get involved Richard told him he would only interfere if the enemy fast-biters are trying to help Argentino and Tarbo cheat.
Everything was going smoothly Doc and Sharptooth are so far winning this fight, Doc maybe old, but with Sharptooth helping out, Doc now has a fighting chance then he could before. As Sharptooth's strength never faded over the years and true to his words Sharptooth was stronger, but after Richard revealed the truth to him, Sharptooth strength has more than doubled and Doc got his strength back as well after he learned the truth as well.
Right in the middle of the two vs two, Richard from the corner of his eye, saw a small group of enemy fast-biters. One has an M320 GLM aka Grenade Launcher Module and another one has an AK-74 with a GP-25 Grenade Launcher. The rest of them all have G3, M16, and AK-47 assault rifles.
Richard saw where they were heading. They are heading toward Doc and Sharptooth.
Richard told Miller and Browntooth what he is seeing.
The three saw the enemy fast-biters, aim their weapons, the AKS-74u, the AK-47, and the M4 and fired.
The enemy fast-biters fired their guns back, as a few of them pulled grenades out, but Richard saw that the grenades are non-lethal. He realized they are flashbang grenades. Richard figured that Argentino and Tarbo are going to use dirty tricks against Doc and Sharptooth .
The gunfight didn't go unnoticed by anyone, the allied forces, the residents and the team, even Doc, Sharptooth, Argentino, and Tarbo stopped fighting for a bit to see what was going on.
Then two of enemy fast-biters threw a flashbang grenade.
Richard yelled at everyone.
" Take cover!" Richard yelled as everyone except Doc and Sharptooth. Argentino and Tarbo took cover before Richard yelled it.
The flashbangs landed in front of Doc and Sharptooth as they saw what was thrown at them.
Then bang happened and a bright flash appeared.
This stun both Doc and Sharptooth, as Argentino and Tarbo fought Doc and Sharptooth taking them down.
Doc and Sharptooth did recover, they realized what happened, Argentino and Tarbo are cheating. They are using fast-biters to use against them.
Richard then got behind a M2HB .50 caliber machine gun that is on his Abrams tank, as he cocked his machine gun and fired at the enemy fast-biters.
Some of the enemy toke cover, while others got unlucky as they got shot.
Doc and Sharptooth continued to fight Argentino and Tarbo dispite the gun battle happen very close to them.
Then Richard saw what the enemy is getting ready to throw at them now.
He saw them holding a smoke grenades. Richard continued shooting, then he saw they threw a smoke grenade at him so he can't hit them accuracy.
Then the enemy fast-biters threw the smoke grenades in the middle of area where Doc and Sharptooth are continuing to fight Argentino and Tarbo.
Doc and Sharptooth can't see what is going and can't see their opponents. They stayed close incase the enemy will try to surprise them. Sharptooth then got an idea.
He picked up some rocks with his mouth and set them and put a single rock down near Doc.
Doc nodded as he moved sideways , he then swong his tail, hit the rock and flew. Then Doc and Sharptooth heard some yell out in pain.
Doc and Sharptooth knew that dispite their enemies dirty tricks, they know to find their mark and hit the enemy as Doc hit another rock.
When the smoke cleared for Richard he saw Doc and Sharptooth playing what looks like a dinosaur version of golf.
But instead of hitting a ball into a hole, they are hitting rocks at their enemy threw the smoke.
Then Argentino and Tarbo charged, but unfortunately for the Doc and Sharptooth were waiting for them to attack as Doc and Sharptooth tail whipped both Argentino and Tarbo.
" Face it you two, we still stronger then you are. " Sharptooth said.
" Face it, you lost." Doc said.
" No yet we haven't. " Argentino said.
" We still have one more trick that we have used yet." Tarbo said while smiling evilly.
Richard heard what Tarbo said, then the Fast-biter with the AK-74 and many others fired their weapons at the three giving their friend cover to fire the M320 GLM.
Then the fast-biter with the M320 GLM fired a canister at Sharptooth. The Canister hit Sharptooth in the face, as water came out and hit them in the face.
Richard, Miller, Browntooth, and his pack fired their weapons at the enemy fast-biters as they got all but two enemy fast-biters.
One enemy Fast-biter got an MP5 out and giving covering fire for his friend.
Then the Fast-biter with the AK-74 with the GP-25 grenade launcher fired a canister.
The canister hit Doc in his face, as water splashed on him.
Doc and Sharptooth got confused at what is happening.
" This is your last trick?" Doc asked.
" You will see." Argentino said.
" Stop playing games with us and fight us!" Sharptooth yelled.
" With pleasure." Tarbo said as he and Argentino charged.
Doc and Sharptooth continue to fight, as Richard guns down the last of the enemy fast-biters with his M2HB machine gun.
When it is clear they rushed to where the last of the enemy is eliminated.
Richard and Miller checked the enemy fast-biters and discovered a bag filled with water and a small bag of powered material.
Richard and Miller then got really worried.
" Browntooth get the antidote!" Miller said.
" What is wrong you guys?" Browntooth asked.
" Argentino and Tarbo must have made these fast-biters to launch an infection against Doc and Sharptooth." Miller said urgently.
" What kind of infection?" Browntooth asks.
" It is the most dangerous one of all. Anthrax." Richard said.
Back at the fight Doc and Sharptooth are going so well, they are almost close to winning, then suddenly they started coughing, and also have a shortness of breath.
" What is going on?" Doc asked.
" This is the trick that we told you about." Argentino said.
" What did you do to us?" Sharptooth asked.
" We infested you with what we recently learned is called Anthrax. What this is it as bacteria that spreads into your lungs and other parts of your body making you very weak to fight." Tarbo said.
" I knew that you all had no honor, but this take it into a completely new low." Doc said.
" You knew we all were cheaters since our last big and you made us cowards that day, well now it is revenge." rather we kill you or not, we will win." Argentino said.
" If we should die, then so be it I would die fighting or die trying then to see you live killing everyone you both come across." Sharptooth said.
" Say about your, like you were the one that murdered a female Longneck that was protecting her son, and you killed simply out of revenge instead of food." Tarbo said.
Sharptooth got angry and charged, but he got tail whipped by Argentino as he went down. And Tarbo head butted Doc knocking him down next to Sharptooth.
Tarbo leaned close to Sharptooth, put his claw near his right eye, clawed him making a big nasty scar over his right eye. Sharptooth roared in pained.
" What little irony, first you claw Doc's right, then you lose your sight with your eye, and now I gave you a scar over your right eye. Now you both will go down together not only as friends but brothers." Tarbo said evilly.
Everyone was watching it was not a good situation, they all fear Doc and Sharptooth will die fighting their enemy. Littlefoot doesn't want to see Doc, the legendary lone dinosaur, the one that was his mentor and friend outside the Great Valley to die.
Everyone was worried for Sharptooth as well, dispite his past history, he had made mistakes and wants to correct those mistakes, everyone wanted to help them, but they were completely helpless.
They made a promise that they would not interfere with their fight, and even if they did break it to save them, they too would be at risk of attack.
Meanwhile Browntooth came with the antidote to the Anthrax biologic bacteria.
" Okay , I have it but how do we get it to Doc and Sharptooth without getting seen by Argentino and Tarbo?" Browntooth asks.
" There is only one way we can save them." Richard said.
"How?" Miller asks.
Richard then get out a tranquilizer gun rifle out.
" That will work." Miller said.
" Alright you guys. Here is the plan, I will fire one dart each for Doc and Sharptooth, the dart will give them the antidote needed to recover, after they both are getting their meds, we will buy Doc and Sharptooth time by shooting at Argentino and Tarbo. " Richard said.
" But Richard, I thought you said you would keep your word to not interfere with their fight." Browntooth said.
Richard signed at this and turns at Browntooth.
" Yes I did make a promise. But this is now live and death, and since Argentino and Tarbo are breaking the rules, although I agreed not to interfere, sometimes you have to break them to save one. And we are going to break the rules just this once. I am now asking you all, will you be willing to lay down your life to save not only this Great Valley, but also a dying Longneck and Sharptooth?" Richard said in a speech.
At first they all stared at him, Miller came forward, then Browntooth, and finally the pack.
Richard nods his at all of them.
" Alright, let's do it." Richard said.
Browntooth loaded the antidote into two darts, Miller loaded the dart to the tranquilizer rifle, Richard aimed at Sharptooth who was getting beat up by Argentino.
Richard fired the dart at Sharptooth, Sharptooth felt the dart hit him as he roared in pain, but that pain disappeared. Argentino thought Sharptooth roared because hit someplace where it hurt him the most.
Then Miller loaded another dart into the rifle, as Richard aims the rifle at Doc, and fired.
The dart hit Doc on his back, he flinched in pain, just like Sharptooth, the pain subsided.
After that was done, Richard and the pack then pulled out an M224 Mortar, an 2B14 Podnos Mortar, an 2S12 Sani Mortar, and the Dragon Fire Mortar, they get the mortars get set up.
" Ready, aim.." Richard said.
Argentino and Tarbo pinned Doc and Sharptooth down.
" So long, old friends, we really would have good friends. "
Just when Tarbo was about to go for Sharptooth's neck and kill him. An explosion appeared next to Tarbo knocked him down on his feet. Argentino was knocked down to his feet due to the same explosion.
When Argentino and Tarbo saw where the explosion, they then got hit by shrapnel from the mortars that fell near them both.
Then Raptor pack also fired an M2HB and an M1919 Brownings at them, firing .30 caliber and .50 caliber rounds at the enemy. Then an M2 Bradley came and joined in firing the 25mm M242 Bushmaster Chain Gun.
While the gun shots were fired, Doc and Sharptooth slowly recovered from the Anthrax.
Argentino and Tarbo were pinned down from enemy fire as they can't fight back since their fast-biters were eliminated.
Doc and Sharptooth recovered to the point that they can now catch their enemies off guard. They removed the darts from themselves and head to Argentino and Tarbo.
Richard and the group stopped firing at them. Argentino and Tarbo got up and saw their enemies stopped firing at them.
" Why did you stop firing at us?" Argentino said.
" Who cares? We can destroy them." Tarbo said.
Argentino then felt tap on his back, as he turned his head, Doc tailwhipped him in the face.
Tarbo then realized what happened, but it was too late to react, as Sharptooth charged and bit his back.
Tarbo roared in pain, as Sharptooth let go, then Doc grabbed Tarbo's foot, yanked it, as he lost his balance and crashed right into Argentino, knocking them both down.
Argentino and Tarbo got back, but they are in shock.
" No this can't be." Argentino said.
" How are not dying?" Tarbo asked.
" Hey assholes!" Richard said.
Argentino and Tarbo turned to Richard.
" We had the antidote for the dirty trick. Nice try using Anthrax, to cheat your way into winning the fight." Richard said, as he hold a bottle of the Anthrax antidote.
Tarbo then got angry.
" You interfering worm!" Tarbo said.
" It's your fault for cheating, I...no we simply even the odds again. Don't get pissed off at us because you wanted to fight unfairly." Richard said .
" You will pay for this, own we are done with this." Argentino said to Richard.
" We'll see about that." Richard said, just as Doc and Sharptooth caught the two off guard, as they fight their enemies.
Everyone is cheering at Doc and Sharptooth at them winning against Argentino and Tarbo, after about 10 minutes Doc and Sharptooth knocked Argentino and Tarbo down to the ground once more and this time stayed down.
" You both will pay the price for what you did to my mate and my hatchlings." Sharptooth said while growling.
" Go ahead, kill us." Tarbo said.
" Sharptooth, don't do it. They want you to become a monster. If you kill them, then they got what they wanted." Doc said.
Sharptooth brought the necks of his enemies close, then he put his on their necks, Sharptooth wanted to crush their necks and kill them, but then he knew they would win physically.
His teeth were on their necks but didn't draw blood or leave a bite mark.
Sharptooth released them as he stood in front.
" Death is too easy for you. I will not kill you both, even you deserve to die. Once again me and my friend defeated you, we won honorably and you will both will still live with the shame and dishonor you got years ago." Sharptooth said.
Argentino and Tarbo were panting for breath.
Littlefoot and the gang including the residents cheered. Dara even came to nuzzle Doc, Sharptooth came gave a small lick on her cheeck.
While the crowds were cheering, Argentino and Tarbo saw that Doc and Sharptooth had their backs turned against them, as they tried one last time to try to kill Doc and Sharptooth.
Richard saw what happening, turns to the M2 Bradley, as the Bradley raised two TOW missiles.
Richard got a radio out.
" Ready. Aim. Fire." Richard said via radio.
The Bradley fired the first TOW missile at Tarbo.
The TOW is a wire guided anti-tank missile, and can destroy a target 3,000 meters away.
The TOW missile hits Tarbo killing him immediately.
Everyone then saw what just happened. Argentino saw that Tarbo got hit by a TOW missile and died.
Argentino then saw the Bradley lining up a shot, as another is ready to fire. Argentino then tried to attack Doc and Sharptooth, before he could strike, the Bradley fired it's second TOW missile, Argentino did get hit, he got knocked down to the ground once more.
When Argentino tried to get up, he lost his strength to get up or walk, he is not going anywhere.
Sharptooth then came forward.
" I see you tried to take the cowards way of winning." Sharptooth said.
" Drop dead!" Argentino said.
" You first." Sharptooth said.
Argentino heard a gun cock, and saw Richard with the M2HB machine gun aiming it at him.
He saw what was about to happen, he then got this scared look.
" Doc please, don't let them do this to me, I am sorry for what I did, please forgive me." Argentino tried to plead for forgiveness.
" I forgive you, but it is too late, years too late, you must pay the price for betrayal and the murders you done. So I am sorry friend, you are going down for what you did." Doc said with the look of disappointment at his former friend.
Richard aimed his M2HB and fired.
Argentino felt the bullets hit him. When the firing stopped, Argentino breath his last breath and his fell down to ground to never get back up again.
Finally the Battle of the Great Valley is over.
Richard got off his Abrams and went to the Bradley, then a Fast-biter came of the Bradley.
" Thanks for having me join your battle, Richard. " The Fast-biter said.
" Your welcome Brandon." Richard said.
Soon it came time to clean up and repair the Great Valley, all of the children and the elderly including the sick were allowed to come out of their shelter.
Doc and Sharptooth were taken to a makeshift field hospital to quarantine them for Anthrax, even though they had an antidote, Richard and Miller to two to be checked out for health reason.
For Richard, Littlefoot and his friends, the Allied Force, and the Great Valley residents had now realized that what just happened was the longest day.
Wow, here it is guys, the longest chapter I have wrote out. The battle of the Great Valley and Doc and Sharptooth's fight Argentino and Tarbo was intense.
Now there is only one more chapter after this and then this story will be completed for good.
