Hello everyone, yes I know it's been a bit over a year but I sadly have no excuses for my absence but I will be continuing again. Now I hope this long chapter will soothe your anger but please know I am incredibly sorry for the period of nothing.

As the team slowly crept through the shadows of the station with the three Spectres trailing them four Atlas destroyers and a cruiser waited in the asteroid field surrounding Omega waiting for the green light to assualt the Blood Pack and Eclipse. Onboard each was around one hundred operatives of Atlas' Assualt Corps each group supported by a dozen ASTs and support teams. Everyone of them was eager for a chance to get their revenge for the attack on New Bagdad and they were going to get their chance.
On the command deck of the cruiser stood Kevin Irons waiting for the Ghost team's confirmation of capture of the target and the start of the assualt. He turned when an aide stepped up beside him. "Sir, you have a private call in your room."
Kevin nodded and then looked to the captain, "Let me know of any changes, Captain." With that he turned and strode out the door and headed to his cabin towards the back of the ship. Entering his private room he headed to the Comm. station and answered the call and the image of the last person he ever espected to call popped up.

Alisha crept up to the corner and peered around it to see two Asari standing guard at the access point to the maintenance corridors. She slipped back to the assembled group. "Ok I see our entry point but we have two Asari guarding it, we are going to need a quick method of removal."
Jason pulled a flashbang out of his bag and handed it to her. She nodded and the team srouched by the corner as Alisha pulled the pin and rolled it toward the Asari. One managed to notice it before it went off blinding the two as Jason put three rounds in her skull as Sam grabbed the other and shoved a knife up through her chin and into the brain stem, killing her instantly. Grabbing the two bodies and dragging them away into a small alley while Caminaria started to hack her way through the door's security protocols.
The Spectres followed quietly while they kept an eye on the skill and way the Atlas team worked together, the Council would like to have any knowledge on Atlas combat skill and tech plus their combat methods. Alsiha strode through the door with her Bulldog raised and ready to fire as she swept the room. "Clear," she whispered back as the short corridor was empty of inhabitents so the team slowly crept towards their objectives. Alisha had Caminaria hack the security cameras to show a thirty second loop of the empty corridors.
Caminaria tapped Alisha on the shoulder to get her attention, "Our target is on the next floor but the Spectres' VIP is on this level." Alisha nodded and looked to see that Jurrok had heard and nodded his thanks. Coming to a stop at an exit into the base Caminaria pulled a small case and a Omni-pad, opening the case to reveal four small round devices she threw two at Jason who caught them and started to hook them onto the wall near the top and bottom of the wall around the door as Caminaria did the same on her side.
Hitting the Omni-pad the wall seemed to light up a bluish color on their huds, the devices allowing them to see any potential lifeforms on the other side of the wall. "Its clear boss, no one is out there." Alisha nodded and hit the door and they swept the room just in case as Caminaria checked the map for thier location in refernce to the VIP and their true target. She nodded towards the left as they headed towards the VIP first as she could be moved or killed soon. The team flowed down the corridors sweeping the area with thier weapons ready at all times, meeting only two Salarians who died to slit throats as they couldn't afford to lose the fact no had noticed them yet.
Finally they reached the cell holding the Dalatrass' niece where two Humans were watching the doors. Alisha rushed through the door and fired three shots into the security booth they were in and the buckshot tore through the armor and left them as mince meat. Jurrok went straight to the cell door and started to cut it with a small cutting torch as everyone else made sure no one else came to investigate the shots.
A minute later Jurrok got the door open and went inside and came back with the drugged niece who was limp but breathing. He nodded to Alisha and spoke, "I am sorry but she is in no condition to stay here, I must get her to extraction."
"I understand in her state she could alert everyone to our presence. We will escort you back to the maintenance corridor and your on your own from there." The Spectres nodded and they headed out only for a dozen Eclipse troopers to turn a corner right in front of them. The Eclipse were suprised but they weren't as they fired into them as the troopers tried to scramble into cover. Alarms went off as the base was alerted to the intruders.
"Fuck! Okay, we keep moving towards our target, Jason alert theboss we have been discovered and see if they can get us some support. We are still going to get our target everyone so lets move!" She fired her Bulldog at an Asari turning the corner and blew a chunk out of her as she loaded several explosive rounds the techs made for the shotguns along with Dragon's Breath shells. The team kept moving forward as the Eclipse were still reeling from the sudden appearence of enemies in their base but they were starting to regroup and fight back.
After a few minutes fighting they reached the maintenance corridor and Jurrok nodded his thanks to Alisha as his team fled the base the Turians ready to fight as Jurrok carried the VIP. "Okay, now then we need our target Cam, where the Fuck is she."
"She is up stairs in the main security room, she has four Asari Commandos with her though. We might have some trouble with them."
Brian shrugged as he fired his ASM1 into a Human who had leaned out to fire. "We have a breaching charge and some flash bangs left. Shock and awe then move in to deal with the commandos and secure the target."
Alisha grinned, "Right, we have a plan and the means to do it. Brian I want you to bee line for Shiyma and put her out of commission for the extraction. Now lets move people." With a plan of action they slugged their way through the security forces and troopers between them and Shiyma. With only a couple injuries from shrapnel or rebounding rounds they managed to make it through.
Sam grabbed a breaching charge from her pack and hooked it up to the door as Jason and Alisha prepared flash bangs to throw in. Sam backed up readied her rifle and held up three fingers, slowly she lowered them and on zero triggered the charge causing the door to be blown clear and suprise the people inside and turn towards the breach only for two flashbangs go off blinding them and causing some to clutch thier ears in pain. Brian raced towards the target and grapple her in a sleeper hold while the others quickly executed the commandos a they swept the room.
"Command, this is Ghost team we have secured the target but are needing a hot extraction, I repeat, target secured need a hot extraction. Confirm." They heard over the comm, "We read you Ghost team, target secured and need hot extraction. Head to extract, they will be there in one minute so hurry!"
The team hurried as they didn't stop as they poured fire at any one in their path as the Eclipse tried to pursue them finally trapping them on a Sky-car pad. The Atlas squad was firing supression at them as one was preparing a launcher and hooking lines on the team.
Suddenly the launcher fired a line into the air and an Atlas military transport flew over head, hooking the line and continue. The line went taunt and dragged the Ghost team into the air as it fled the scene disappearing into Omega's traffic.
On the transport the crew was winding the cable and helped pull the team inside the transport. Alisha groaned as she sat down in a chair. "I hate using the sky-hook. It hurts like a Son-of-A-Bitch!" The others grinned as they agreed but she bitched about it almost like a child. She glared at them knowing what they were thinking. "Fuck you guys, I can't wait to head home and get some sleep and see my little girl."
They all were suprised when a voice spoke up, "Well, Mrs. Graham that does sound good but we won't be leaving until we are sure the beachheads we get are fully secured." Stepping out from the cockpit was Caemus and he looked at the bound form of Shiyma and grinned, "Of course your team will not be on call but we just want to make sure there is no problems before we leave."
The co-pilot called out, "Sir, your needed on the Fire of Atlas. Mr. Irons asked for your return personally." Caemus nodded and headed for the cockpit and the shuttle headed back to the Fire.

"So what brings the Illusive Man to call me? I must know so I don't do it again as I want nothing to do with your little terrorist group." The Illusive Man sat in a chair before the screen with a red-blue sun directly behind him.
"Kevin Irons, I am here so you can do your duty to the Alliance and Humanity. The technology you possess could allow Cerberus, and by extension the Alliance and Humanity, to become stronger then even the Citadel Council and the other races in the galaxy."
Kevin laughed and shook his head, "I don't know what kind of sucker you think I am but I have no plans on ever working for you." Kevin vaguely noticed Caemus entering the room behind him but continued. "If you or any of your little moles ever try anything on my company I will raze Cerberus to the ground and grind the remains into dust even if it takes decades to rip the last pieces out. I have seen the results of your 'experiments' on innocent people, many of whom were the very people you claim to be trying to protect."
The Illusive Man growls in anger, "You are too short-sighted to realize the path you tread ends in ruin, the aliens will bring Humanity down and if sacrifices are required to protect Humans from the aliens so be it. Know this Irons, eventually the Council will see you as a threat and break you down and you will remember this moment and wish you took my offer!" With that the screen went black and the lights came on.
Kevin turned to Caemus and shook his head, "Damn over-arrogant bastard, he will bring about his own demise soon enough. Now, did we secure the VIP?" At his nod Kevin grinned, "Send her to the boys in Interrogation and find out everything from her you can and then send her to C-Sec on the Citadel, a little gift from us to them. I know they have a lot to charge her with."
Caemus followed Kevin as he headed to his mini-fridge and accepted a glass of Horosk as Kevin grabbed a bottle of root beer, Kevin not liking alcoholic drinks nor the decrease in control. "Kevin, are you sure it's wise aggrivating the Illusive Man, he does have power hiding amoung the shadows. I don't like them anymore then you do but basicly declaring war on them is a bit crazy."
"True but that bastard is a monster that is a stain on Humanity. Anyway he won't try anything yet but have a team start trying to discover their operatives, I don't expect much but I have a single lead for them to start with, subtly look into a Miranda Lawson. She is definitly an operative."
That was something Caemus had started to notice about Kevin Irons, he knew somethings he shouldn't have any idea about, it was just another thing about him that was strange but he had his reasons so Caemus just let it go for now.

The Assualt boats recieved their green lights to start the assualt and the boats headed for the Blood Pack and Eclispe hangars with two destroyers per hangar and the cruiser sent twelve assualt boats holding a hundred twenty men to a empty hangar to secure a beach head even if the other hangars stayed in the merc's hands.
Inside the Blood Pack hangar a dozen Krogan lazied around while a couple dozen Vorcha and some vagrants moved cargo and supplies around the hangar bay to prepare for shipping. Grevn Marj stood watching some pitiful Humans beg for some work to make money to feed thier families even as the Batarian Dockmaster shook his head as they didn't need more workers.
Noticing a vagrant near him he looked towards him not noticing some vagrants nearing the other Krogan, only for them to pull large shotguns from inside the rags covering them and fire point blank into them. The hangar descended into chaos as the Blood Pack tried to react to the unexpected attack as the "vagrants" ripped off the rags to show Atlas Exo armor and start putting large caliber solid slug shotgun rounds into the nearest Blood Pack.
As the fighting was happening a specialist started to open the hangar doors as Atlas assualt boats started to enter the bay, even as Blood Pack reinforcements arrived to take back the hangar. Inside the lead assualt boat stood Captain Hunter Hellsman, or known to his men as Hell's Man, before the men on the boat with a link across the entire assualt's comlink, "Alright everyone, this is it. Time for us to return everything they did to our home and people hundred-fold. I don't need to remind anyone about what they did to New Bagdad do I?" There was a responding roar of "NO!" He grinned, "Then lets show them how real soldiers fight! They thought we would break, they thought we would falter, well we didn't!"
The doors started to open as the soldiers charged weapons ready and a roar on their lips as the Blood Pack was shaken at the large group of invaders.

Well here is a chapter to hopefully satisfy you till the next one and have you not hunt me down for being gone so long. Please read and review this. Also Irons will be doing a bit more radical shaking soon.
here is a sneak peek.
She shook herself awake from the cryo-freezing and rubbed her shaven head as she noticed a man standing before her in a suit. She jumped up to attack him only to notice several soldiers with guns of various makes aimed at her. The suit stepped forward and smiled, "Hello, I have a tempting offer for you..."
That will have to wait till next time. BYE!
