Chapter 48: Wrath of the Elements Part 1

The Village Hidden in the Leaves, the Land of Fire

Everything seemed so silent in the Leaf Village, as nobody saw a tint of trouble. That was until the Five Elemental Ascendants appeared in the stadium, before vanishing off to complete their own agendas. But for those ninjas who tried to follow them on the roof of the stadium, they were given a shocking view of what currently was happening above the village itself.

As Naruto, Shikamaru and Sai stopped while being on the top of the stadium, they snapped when they could witness something appear in the skies above the Leaf Village. Out from hiding, large airships made out of steel and iron revealed themselves, soon dropping out soldiers and even sending out flyers using some sort of jet packs. None of them had expected them to see something like this.

"What the fuck…" Shikamaru cursed lowly at what he was seeing. "Is this the Sky Village invading us again!?" he asked out in anger over seeing this.

"I don't think so, Shikamaru!" Naruto replied quickly while pointing out the symbol that was engraved upon the airships. It was the symbol of the Otsutsuki clan. "But agree with you on one thing: this technology reminds me of what the Sky ninjas used" the blonde-haired man added while seeing all the flyers that appeared out the airships.

Sai sweated with unease and got both of his comrades' attentions. "Somehow, those airships used some sort of camouflage or invisibility to float over the Leaf Village without even being heard or noticed" the pale-skinned man told them.

Right behind the three men, Tsunade, Gaara and Mei had arrived and were all watching this happening with shocked eyes. It was no official. The Village Hidden in the Leaves were under attack.

"It's just as they proclaimed" Gaara noted warily while seeing the airships. "But never did I imagine them invading the village like this!" he added to his.

"We must launch a counterattack this instant!" Mei told everyone.

But all of them suddenly took notice of something happening on the ground where many shinobis had been stationed. Out of nowhere swarms of shinobis, dressed in silver armor made of iron. They were carrying with them weapons, like kunai, katanas and other dangerous tools. These shinobis wore armor that were similar to samurais, only that their helmets had the symbol of the Otsutsuki clan carved upon them. As they appeared out of the blue, the enemy shinobis began attacking the guarding Leaf shinobis, even succeeding in killing some of them. When most of the defenders were out of the picture, the armored shinobis then set their eyes upon the stadium and they launched themselves at it.

"Damn it! Those bastards are entering the stadium!" Naruto cursed, before something snapped inside of him in realization. He then faced Tsunade with eyes of distress. "There are already so many civilians trying to exit the stadium! With these enemy troops entering, they'll only get killed! We have to save them!" he then told her while making sure everyone else listened carefully.

Tsunade nodded her head. "We WILL do that. And there may be some of the competitors still recovering from their fights inside the rooms as well" the Hokage noted in her head and faced everyone. "We MUST get back there and help the villagers evacuate" she then added.

Mei's azure eyes snapped in horror over hearing this. "Oh no, Kotone, Aoi and Jurou!" she noted warily to herself but quickly calmed herself. "Luckily, all three of them are in the same room with Karin, so they should be safe with her at their side. But we have to save them still" the Mizukage insisted.

Gaara suddenly stood in between the two ladies and faced them with a reassuring smile. "Then how about you bring along your most trusted advisors and go help those inside the stadium and hold off the enemy invaders?" the red-haired man suddenly suggested to them. "I will ask my brother, Otokaze, Baki and the Sand Scorpions for this assistance in helping Naruto rally those lost on the tribunals. I have a fear that they will be in danger soon" he then suggested while facing Naruto.

The blonde-haired man simply smiled cheekily in return. "Heh, you really are good when it comes to suggestions, Gaara" he said before facing Tsunade, whom nodded her head in understanding in return. "Grandma, you may take with you Sai and Shizune and go inside. We will deal with the rest here" the blonde-haired man insisted to her.

"Sounds like an idea" she said in return before glancing at Mei. "You heard the Kazekage's suggestion. We better take what we need and head inside. Those scumbags may be many, but they never stand a chance against two Kages" the blonde-haired woman pointed out to her.

Mei simply chuckled in amusement when she heard this. "Hmmmm….you do bring a point, Tsunade" she admitted.

"Then we best get to back the tribunals. It's obvious that the enemy wants the invasion to start from here, rather than at the gates" Naruto told them and the entire group headed back to the tribunals. "Those bastards! Obviously, we underestimated their tactics and technology. They are indeed impressive, even by my standards" the blonde-haired man noted in his thoughts.

Inside the stadium, the Village Hidden in the Leaves

As the Five Elemental Ascendants, had interrupted the final match between Inojin and Shunsuke, the people who had arrived to witness the match were in disarray. The majority of them were heading out towards the exits as fast as they could, given that the Ascendants proved to possess destructive powers. After revealing themselves and explaining their motives, they had vanished, although they were being followed by some ninjas.

But right now, a line of shinobis had gathered at the lowest row of seats to discuss what had just happened. Meanwhile, the battleground was filled with lava and it only encouraged the spectators to make a run for the nearby exits, worried that the lava would only reach up to them.

"What the hell just happened!?" Menma asked as he was standing with his students, Ayumu and his students, Chiasa, Kaito, Kakashi and Yamato. "How were they able to infiltrate the village with such ease!?" he asked out in disbelief.

"I could ask the same thing" Ayumu noted and then faced both Inojin and Shunsuke. "Hey Inojin, I'm glad that you noticed how fishy things were looking. Otherwise, Shunsuke may have been taken" he then commended his student, who only glanced at him in return.

"I knew that they would show up someday" Kakashi said while looking around. "It is hard to even catch the Elemental Ascendants, they only need to rely on the environment in order to get wherever they want" he said grimly.

Chiasa fixed a slight smile at the white-haired man. "Well, I am glad that you are with us right now, Kakashi Hatake, as you seem to have a great deal of knowledge about these monsters" she remarked while expressing relief that Kakashi was now at their side.

Kakashi simply nodded his head at her in appreciation. "I am thankful of your words, granddaughter of Ebizo" he said in return.

But all of a sudden, all of them could hear screams coming from one of the nearby exits, as many spectators were running out of it in fear. But they ran away from something and out from it came swarms of shinbois, dressed in silver armor made of iron. They were carrying with them weapons, and there was blood dripping on them. These shinbois wore armor that were similar to samurais, only that their helmets had the symbol of the Otsutsuki clan carved upon them. Even now, they began slaying anything they came across and this forced every Leaf shinobi on the tribunals to act.

"Slay anyone that you come across! Don't take any prisoners!" one of these enemy shinobis commanded his men, and he even began brandishing his katana.

Shino and his family (minus Saburou) saw the approaching men. In fact, Shino turned around to face his wife. "Umeko, take Yasu with you and find Saburou! Then all of you three get out of the stadium and find a safe place to stay!" the man with sunglasses told his wife seriously.

"But will you and Susume be fine!?" the blonde-haired woman with sunglasses demanded some words from her husband, only for Shino to calmly put his hands on Umeko.

"We'll be okay, my love. Now get our youngest children to safety. I have already sent some of my insects to find my father. He will make sure that you are safe, as well as rally the Aburame clan for combat" Shino explained to his wife, who had listened closely without interrupting him.

After a few seconds, Umeko simply nodded her head and picked up Yasu and was on her way, leaving Shino along with Susume. The young woman simply nodded her head at her father in return.

"Shall we deal with those barbarians, father?" Susume asked him, causing Shino to nod in return, and both father and daughter used their bugs to assist the Leaf shinobis with protecting those who could not fight.

Lee was currently headed straight towards his son, who sat on his wheelchair besides Kimiko and some of their classmates. He even kicked away those who had their eyes set upon the row Guy sat by. "Guy, are you okay?" he asked his son, who simply gave him a thumb gesture in return, much to his own amusement. But Lee fixed a serious glance while facing his son. "You and your friends need to get out as fast possible. The tribunals are too dangerous to be in" he told his son.

"But dad, it's impossible to exit the stadium. Those shinobis keep pouring themselves out the exits!" the young boy said in return.

"LOOK OUT!" Kimiko suddenly shouted and clung herself near Guy, as there was someone flying over the tribunals with a jet pack. It was a shinobi that was aiming his weapon towards the roof of the stadium. It looked like a missile launcher, as a rocket was indeed fired from the flying shinobi's weapon. The rocket landed on the roof, and this caused a large part of it to loosen and fall down towards the row Lee and the others were currently standing by. "IT'S GONNA FALL ON US!" Kimiko shouted hysterically and held onto her teammate.

But in the nick of time, Sakura appeared and used her incredible strength to break the boulder into many pieces. She was fast and her punch helped save many people there.

"Mrs. Haruno!" Kimiko exclaimed with admiration, as she admired Sakura.

The pinkette faced Lee and the children with a smile. "Is everyone alright?" she asked them while making sure that no one was injured.

Lee simply gave her a thumb in return. "We're all right thanks to you, Sakura! Thanks for saving our butts" he told her in return.

Suddenly, the flying ninja was suddenly blown far away, thanks to the actions of Temari and her giant fan. The dark blonde-haired woman smirked while seeing that not even the jet pack could withstand the winds, and the shinobi eventually crashed into the roof's edge before falling down to his death. Temari then faced Lee and the others with a smile.

"All of you, head down to that line" she said and pointed her finger at the gathering of jounins and students that had assembled to protect them against the invading shinobis.

Sasuke and Suigetsu managed to fend off the enemy shinobis with ease, as Suigetsu was using his blade and muscles to tear them off. The white-haired man toyed with his sword and made a kebab by using the corpse of the enemies.

"Who the hell are these guys?" Suigestu asked while studying their armors. "They sure look a lot like samurais, that they do" he then remarked while tossing the corpses away.

Sasuke narrowed his black eyes and could see more enemy shinobis coming out from the exits. "They have already infiltrated the stadium" he noted lowly.

Seeing this caused Suigetsu to snap in shock as he recalled something. "Damn! Kotone and her teammates are inside one of the stadium's rooms! Crap, they are defenseless!" he then exclaimed out in anger.

"But what about Karin? Isn't she with them?" Sasuke asked him while raising an eyebrow

Suigetsu simply scoffed at his words. "Yeah, but she's not tough enough to take on these fuckers by herself. As much as I hate to admit it, I gotta go help her. For Kotone's sake that is" he said and brandished his blade while fixing a smug grin at Sasuke. "Anyways, I could use a good helper at my side. We're sure to stumble upon many adversaries on our way. So what do you say?" Suigetsu then asked him.

The raven-haired man sighed in annoyance and faced his longtime partner with a bored expression. "Fine, I will help you. Just don't get in my way of cleaning up the mess, okay?" he then tried to make Suigetsu take his words for real.

"Tch, whatever! Now hurry up! My girl's inside!" the white-haired man said and they were both on their way.

But as they were entering, Ino suddenly appeared at their side and faced both of them sternly while joining them on the run. "Don't think about going in there without a navigation export! You'll only end up getting lost without me" the blondie said while fixing a stern glance upon Sasuke, who sighed lowly in return.

"This is no game for you, Ino. You'd only get in my way" Sasuke replied, only to be stubbornly confronted by the blondie.

"Don't you take that tone with me, Sasuke! When it comes to finding the right way, I am just the woman you need!" the blondie snapped back, forcing Sasuke to groan in annoyance in return.

Suigetus could not help but to smile. "Hey, nice of you to join us! We could really use someone who's good in detecting chakras, considering that you're a Yamanaka" the white-haired swordsman remarked, forcing Ino to only nod at him in return. Suigetsu then faced the corridor they were headed towards. "Both Kotone and Karin possesses enormous amounts of chakra within themselves, so this should be a piece of coke" he then added with his toothy grin.

Sasuke only sighed in defeat. "Fine. But make sure you do help us" the raven-haired man told Ino.

The blondie merely smirked while hearing her husband's answer. "Oh, you know I will. Without me, you would've been lost" Ino said.

Suigetsu formed a smug grin with his teeth. "Cool. Now then, shall we go?" the white-haired man then asked Sasuke.

As soon as everyone was gathered Naruto, Gaara and the others had joined in to assist fighting against the enemy shinobis. The blonde-haired even activated his Nine-Tails Chakra and used it to fend off the enemy shinobis. He did that until Sakura and the others came over to his side and together, they disposed of the enemy troops.

Naruto gave his wife his usual grin. "Hey there, beautiful! Need a hand? Or maybe I should say nine hands thanks to Kurama" he then asked humorously.

Sakura could not help but to smile at him in return. "I need a hand with protecting the villagers. Protecting myself is something I'm capable of doing on my own" the pinkette said in return.

Naruto only mused to himself and even gave her a thumb gesture in return. "Those were the exact words I wanted to hear from ya, believe it!" he praised Sakura, who only blushed lightly at his statement.

Once everyone was in position and people had gathered in a group, Naruto had decided to fill everyone on what was happening in the Leaf Village, so he told everyone about the enemy airships. So far, no enemy shinobi had come out of the exits, but it was only a matter of time before they would return with reinforcements.

"Enemy airships!? Above the village!?" Sakura asked in distress as she stood with Nashiko and Haruto.

Naruto nodded his head at his wife. "Yeah, but even now, these enemy shinobis are pouring into the stadium in endless numbers. There are already many defenseless villagers trapped inside and we need to…." before Naruto could continue, he snapped in surprise when he saw Kiba rushing towards the exit with Akamaru in tow.

"Kiba! Where are you…." Hinata said with distress, before her bright eyes widened with shock. "Oh no…..Minami!" the bluenette exclaimed before following her husband into the exit.

"Hinata, Kiba, where are you going!?" Shino asked his former teammates in disbelief over seeing this

"Sister!" Hanabi yelled in fear of Hinata's actions. She then faced her father with a pleading glance. "Father! We have to help them! With so many enemies inside the stadium, none of them will survive on their own!" she told Hiashi, who put a hand on her shoulder to ease her fears.

"Do not fret, Hanabi. Hinata is more resilient than you actually know" Hiashi insisted to her, before turning his gaze upon Tsume Inuzuka. "And with her husband by her side, she will be okay" he then said.

While Tsume had only glanced at him with her feral eyes, she did eventually form a smug smile in return, indicating that she agreed with the Hyuuga clan head's statement. "Heh, probably one of the many things we can agree on" she remarked, forcing Hiashi to give her a nod of approval in return.

Masajun was facing Himawari, and they both exchanged positive courtesies against one another, considering that they were good friends, as well as former classmates. "Looks like our clans are once again starting to take notice of one another" the young man said, forcing Himawari to giggle in return.

"Indeed, they do" the brown-haired woman added to her statement.

Hana had let out a sigh when she watched her younger brother enter the stadium, as well as bringing along her sister-in-law. "That reckless fool…." Hana noted underneath her sigh. But she soon formed a smile. "But still, I can't help but to feel proud of you, Kiba. You're finally taking your role as a parent seriously" she then remarked.

"Hey Mom" Hana could feel her youngest son Kenta touch her and she faced down on him to see that he was actually filled with curiosity, despite all that was happening around them. "Do you think that Uncle Kiba and Aunt Hinata will be okay?" he asked her.

"Of course, they will, Kenta!" that voice came from Hana's oldest daughter Yume, who glanced at him with a reassuring smile. "Knowing how stubborn Uncle Kiba is, he always makes it out alive" she added to her statement, expressing faith in their uncle.

Kenta knew that he could trust what Yume was telling her, and he could see that their mother was thinking about the same thing as well.

However, Takeda was feeling a tint of worry for his twin sister still being inside one of the rooms recovering from her injuries and he was about to go on and follow his parents, only for Menma to stop him with a hold on his shoulder.

"Don't be so rash, Takeda. Your parents have already entered, so I am confident that they will bring her to safety" the man with the ponytail said to her with encouragement in her voice.

Seeing this made Takeda take away all his fears, and he simply nodded as a yes at his teacher in return. "Thanks…sensei" he said in return, before he suddenly was nudged by Hanzo, who only fixed a smug smile on him.

"Right now, you're worried about Minami. Now that is something you don't see every day" the black-haired boy said, much to Takeda's own anger and irritation.

"Knock it off!" Takeda snapped in return.

Naruto noticed that Sasuke and Ino was not present in the group as well and he wondered why. Shikamaru also discovered this and became filled with slight unease. However, Chouji seemed to have the answer, as he stepped in to brief them.

"I think I saw them. They're inside the stadium" the chubby man revealed simply, much to Shikamaru's own outrage.

"Is Ino with Sasuke!? It's too dangerous for them to be waltzing in there!" Shikamaru exclaimed while throwing his arms up in the air.

"Well, I think I saw them and this Suigetsu-dude running towards that exit" Chouji noted while recalling what he had seen. "That Suigetsu-dude wanted to save the Mist ninjas that were recovering so he dragged Sasuke into this. But Ino overheard them thinking about this, so she stubbornly joined them" the chubby man added to his explanation

Shikamaru simply groaned while facepalming. "God, she really has become stubborn these times" he remarked while hearing this.

While listening to this, Shunsuke noticed that his twin brother was not by his side, and neither were his teammates. Eventually, Nashiko and the others took notice of it as well, and both Shikaien and Chouta's parents became furious over seeing this.

"That little punk…" Temari angrily clenched her fist while Shikamaru dropped a sweat by seeing this. She suddenly grabbed her husband's hand and dragged him with her. "Come on, Shikamaru, we're going after him!" she decalred firmly, while Shikamaru did not know what was just happening.

Meanwhile Chouji tried to reassure Sanae that there was nothing to worry about. "Chouji…..our daughter is in danger" the black-haired woman exclaimed with great worry.

Chouji simply smiled and put his arms on her shoulders. "Don't worry, Sanae. I'll go inside and see if Chouta's inside. She is a tough girl. While I'm gone, I want you to stay here and protect Daichi" he encouraged her before planting a kiss on his wife's lips. "I will let my dad know of what is currently happening. And trust me, he will help us" Chouji said before he sprung himself towards the exit to chase after Shikamaru and Temari.

Naruto watched as the chubby man disappeared into the exit. He even couldn't help but to force a smug smile when seeing him running. "Heh, you sure possess valor inside of you, Chouji, that you do" he remarked.

Sakura suddenly stood beside him. "I know that it is too dangerous for us to go inside with the children, but I don't think staying here is a better alternative" the pinkette said and watched the pool of lava that existed. "Especially with that thing heating up" she added to her worries.

Yamato suddenly sweated and he stroke his forehead, as did Kakashi. "Is it just me, or is it kind of getting hotter here?" he asked those around him.

"You know, now that I think about it, it does feel very hot. It's almost as if the lava is….." he suddenly snapped and went over to check out on the pool of lava, and noticed something with great unease. "No way…..this isn't happening!" he exclaimed in disbelief.

Naruto, Sakura and the other leading shinobis got to his side and watched as the pool of lava had gradually begun rising up, and they noticed that happened at a fast pace. This made them all worried. The children were placed behind the adults, not wanting the children to be exposed to such warm heat.

"The lava is rising up, almost as if it is a tide!" Tenten exclaimed with worry over seeing this. "It's too big to be frozen, let alone stopped" she added to her explanation.

Kankuro was filled with disbelief over what he was hearing. "But there must be something we can do! If this rising lava doesn't stop, all of the Leaf Village will be burned beneath it! I mean for God's sake, everyone! Can't any of come up with some…." he was interrupted by a hard slap on his cheek, thanks to Kaito. The man with the markings glanced at him angrily. "Hey, what the hell's your….." he was shut by Kaito covering his mouth with his gloved hand.

"Will you shut up for a second or two? You're not helping us by acting like some whiney, little bitch! So just zip it!" the bandaged man berated him.

Chiasa mused by what she was seeing, not expecting someone as scary-looking like him to have some courtesy to calm impatient people like Kankuro down. But the young woman moved on to face the Fifth Kazekage. "Lord Kazekage, do you have any suggestion what may be able to cease this lava from rising?" she then asked the red-haired man

Gaara narrowed his eyes and nodded his head slightly. "If this is to fully disappear, then we must destroy the source of it. And by that, I mean one of the Elemental Ascendants, the one who called himself Kazan of the Fire" he then said while making sure Tsunade and Mei were listening.

"Why bother wasting time with that?" Gaara's eyes snapped by hearing the voice of his son, as he, Atsushi and Haruka were glancing at him questionably. Tsubasa was the one giving him the sternest glance of all three. "I can just deal with this lava ourselves. There's no need for us to go after those monsters" the reddish brown-haired boy pointed out.

Gaara's eyes narrowed. "Your stubbornness is not what is required right now, son" the Kazekage told him, yet Tsubasa continued to stare at him with dispassion in his eyes. "Don't you give me that attitude. What I am trying to tell you is that we need to put the interest of the civilians before ourselves. So swallow your pride and do something productive" he then told his son.

The reddish brown-haired boy gritted his teeth in anger and was about to confront him, only for someone to hold him back. It was his mother Matsuri, who only held him back in hopes of easing his impatience. But Tsubasa shrugged her off and then began moving to the pool of lava.

"If both of you are so delusional, then I just have to do it, myself!" he snapped while glancing down at the pool of lava. But Tsubasa was to his surprise dragged back by both Atsushi and Haruka away from that spot. "Hey! What are you….." he demanded an answer from either one of them.

Haruka only huffed in return. "Stop being so self-righteous and sanctimonious, Tsubasa! Your father is the Fifth Kazekage! You have no right to treat him with such disrespect!" the young brunette told him.

Atsushi only grinned cockily in return. "You heard her, cuz!" he said to him in return, much to Tsubasa's annoyance.

Gaara fixed his attention on Naruto. "We cannot remain here for much longer. We will need to evacuate as soon as possible" the Kazekage told the blonde-haired man, who simply nodded his head in return.

In fact, Naruto took his time to face the entire crowd before him. "Alright! We're leaving this stadium and find out where those Elemental Ascendants have gone off to. If we defeat one of them, it will completely dispel this pool of lava. So follow me, those of you who wish to fight!" the blonde-haired man announced and everyone else agreed with what he said. Naruto then began facing his wife. "Sakura I want you to come with me, we will lead the assault and pave the way for the others to find their way out" he told the pinkette.

Sakura was very unsure about this. "But is it wise for us to not stay with the children like this?" she asked with a hint of concern in her voice. She was surprised when her husband put a hand on her shoulders. Naruto only grinned reassuringly.

"We have talented and brave jounins along with us, Sakura. I'm willing to entrust the safety of our kids to Menma Naruto told her as she listened. "The blonde-haired man then faced his children, or perhaps Nashiko specifically. "Nashiko, I need you to be a strong and big girl and protect your little brother while your mother and I are busy fighting off the enemy shinobis. Will you do that?" Naruto asked his pink-haired daughter, who had Haruto standing beside her.

To her parents' surprises, Nashiko did her mother's famous pose in return while beaming with confidence. "I definitely will!" she said while winking. Nashiko then looked at her younger brother. "Don't worry Haruto! Just stick by me and you'll be safe!" she told him. Haruto had no words to say and simply nodded his head in reply.

Both Naruto and Sakura smiled at seeing this, knowing that their daughter was willing to take the chance, considering that she had won her match in today's finals. They knew that she had somehow grown into a fine, young kunoichi.

"Glad to hear it, Nashiko" Naruto said to her and began facing the crowds behind him. "Everyone, gather your wits! We're going in!" he made sure that everyone heard this loud and clear.

Inside the stadium

Kiba was beating away any enemies that dares stand against him and Akamaru was tagging along. Hinata was a further behind him, yet managed to catch up to her husband and his dog partner. The brown-haired man with goatee angrily slammed enemies against the walls and growled like an angry dog trying to save it's puppies.

"Kiba! You need to relax!" Hinata called upon him as she could see Kiba leaning against the wall while panting deeply. The bluenette were by his side, helping him get hold of his balance. "I know that it can happen, but I don't think these people would find Manami so easily" she told him.

Her husband only glanced at him while sweating from the stress. "She is currently in a vulnerable position now, Hinata! I can't allow her to be captured!" he said and suddenly glanced at the various ways to choose. "Damn it! This goddamn stadium is a labyrinth! But luckily, me and Akamaru know the scent of both Minami and Riko, so it shouldn't be a problem" he noted in his head, starting slowly to find the right way to Manami's room.

But the couple suddenly snapped in shock, as they could hear a young girl's scream coming from the nearest corridor. To them, it sounded very familiar.

"It can't be…" Hinata uttered out in shock. But she snapped as she saw Kiba running towards that direction. "Wait…..Kiba!" the bright-eyed woman snapped when seeing her husband and Akamaru sprinting.

Kiba ran straight towards the corridor with his feral teeth gritting in anger. "MINAMI!" he asked loudly, realizing that his twin daughter was now in grave danger. His wife eventually understood it as well. Kiba gritted his teeth in anger as he ran as fast as he could to find the location of this scream. "Minami…stay strong…we'll be there soon!" the brown-haired man said in his head and stood right outside the door that belonged to that of the room where his daughter was recovering from her injuries.

As they stood outside a door, Kiba noticed that it was locked, but he would not let that stand in his way. Using his bare fists, the brown-haired man broke the door, as his wife joined at his side. The couple were stunned to see that neither Minami nor Riko was nowhere to be found. The only thing that remained in this room were the enemy shinobis, as there was three of them currently standing in the room. But the window was also broken, indicating that the Minami had been captured and taken out through the window. The shinobis that were inside wore just the same uniforms as those who had just attacked the tribunals.

"What! How did these infidels find us!?" one of them asked in outrage.

"Who cares? We best dispose of them!" another said in return.

But they could notice that Kiba was furious in his face and his eyes indicated that he was angry. They also took notice of Hinata, who seemed to fix a slight determined glance.

"Hold on, that woman over there is a Hyuuga! Just like that brat we just captured!" the third of the shinobis said while pointing his finger at Hinata. "I mean, look at her bright eyes!" he added to his statement.

"Yeah! Then we better catch her as well and bring her to the….." one of the other shinobis spoke up. But before he knew it, he was introduced to an angry punch on his face by Kiba. Who was furious over what he had just heard them speaking over his daughter.

"You Leaf Village-motherfucker!" one of the shinobis cursed and charged at him angrily with a couple of kunai. Unfortunately for him, he received a handpalm against his stomach by Hinata, thus rendering him immobile. "You…filfthy…...bitch!" he cursed in pain as he fell onto his stomach.

The last of the enemy shinobis was feeling afraid of Kiba, who had just begun fixing his feral eyes upon him. Without hesitating, the brown-haired man angrily grabbed the ninja by his collar and pushed him against the broken window, much to Hinata's own shock.

"Kiba….calm down" she said with worry in her voice. "Remember not to resort to killing!" Hinata added to her voice.

Kiba angrily glared at the shinobis while Akamaru growled at him. "That young "brat" you just spoke of is our daughter! Now tell us where you took her before I throw your ass out of this window!" he angrily threatened.

The shinobi had some hint of defiance in his eyes. "You won't kill me! I know that! You are just…" the shinobi was suddenly punched hard by Kiba, who made him stop acting so defiant.

"Do I look like the Hokage or Naruto Uzumaki to you!?" Kiba angrily asked as his feral eyes began to show rage. "Now tell us where our daughter is before I pulverize you!" he demanded and threatened the shinobi at the same time.

"Fool! The almighty Hirohito has already her within his grasp. Lady Eikyo was tasked to take her to him and…AAAAHHHHHH!" the shinobi howled in pain as Kiba kneed him in the stomach, thus sending out blood from his mouth.

Hinata rushed to her husband's side. "We got the answer! Now let's move on and leave him be! Whatever you do, don't kill him!" the bluenette insisted to Kiba, who was actually too angry to even listen to reason.

But the brown-haired man eventually understood the gravity of the situation and only sighed deeply in return. Before letting the shinobi go, Kiba fixed his eyes directly upon the shinobi's own, in an attempt to intimidate him through fear. The shinobi was filled with shock and didn't bother to make a move against him.

"You're damn lucky that you're not your boss! If you had been, I would've skullfucked you until couldn't breathe nor see" he said before leaning closer and pointing his finger at him. "Mercy my ass! Fuck…you!" Kiba cursed and then threw the shinobi against the wall, and fell onto his stomach.

Hinata looked out of the window, and she could spot lightning happening not far from the stadium. Her husband joined her and could see the same as well. This only indicated that the captor of their daughter was not far away. Something drifted on her mind right now.

"They captured Minami…but for what reason?" Hinata asked lowly, as she couldn't believe that someone like her had been captured by unknown invaders. The bluenette sighed deeply and recalled what she and Kiba were told. "Could this mean that these invaders seek to target every Hyuuga in the Lead Village, including father and Hanabi?" she then wondered.

"That's a good question, Hinata. I wonder that myself" Kiba said in return, before he began climbing out of the window, much to Hinata's surprise. The brown-haired man glanced at his wife. "But we can figure about that later. Right now, our priority should be saving Manami from these ruthless bastards" he told her.

Hinata was stunned. "But what about Takeda? We can't simply leave him behind and go on our own" the bluenette asked uneasily.

Hearing this only forced Kiba to grin cockily. "Hinata, you know that he's capable of handling himself, especially since his friends and teacher is by his side now" the brown-haired man told her. "Now hurry up and join me! Together, we'll save Minami from whoever that electric bitch is!" he then added with determination in his voice.

Hearing this forced Hinata to smile lightly, knowing that her husband spoke the truth. In fact, she was even surprised that he spoke in favor of Takedabeing friends with the likes of Nashiko. Approaching him at the window, Hinata kissed her husband's lips gladly, which somehow surprised Kiba.

"Then you climb first, Kiba. I will follow you immediately" Hinata told him, much to Kiba's own amazement.

In the room where the Mist genin team were recuperating, Karin, Aoi and Kotone were trying to hold off the enemy shinobis, as well as protecting Jurou, who was still recovering from his injuries in battle. They had attempted to lock the door from the inside, but that didn't stop the shinobis from coming after them. A kunai bomb had been used to blow off the door and soon, many shinobis streamed into the room.

"Oh my God! They broke the door!" Karin remarked in shock.

Kotone only rolled her eyes. "I told you that locking the door wouldn't help us, did I!?" she snapped at her mother.

But Karin got on the defensive against her own daughter. "How was I supposed to know that these shinobis used kunai bombs!?" she then asked in return.

The young redhead only facepalmed when hearing this, as Kotone could not believe how Karin was still acting like a teenager. "Why must I always be stuck with mom and her antics!?" she wondered in her head. But she got angry when hearing Aoi laugh in the background.

"Wow Kotone! Your mom sure is quite intelligent and mature for being an advisor to the Mizukage!" the long-haired boy remarked, while taunting his teammate.

"Just shut up" Kotone said lowly.

The enemy shinobis were about to enter the room, only for somebody to cut through them in a fast pace. It was Sasuke and Suigetsu, who were using their blades in dealing with the enemy fast. The shinobis were too slow to retaliate and all of them died one by one. The gang was surprised in seeing the two along with Ino entering the room.

Sasuke sighed. "That should do it" he noted lowly, before hearing a huffing sound from Ino. Sasuke rolled his eyes when hearing this, but eventually formed a slight smile at her in return. "You were right. We couldn't have navigated without you, Ino. Thank you" he then commended his wife.

Ino giggled in return. "What did I tell ya?" she said. She then faced the group. "Is everyone alright?" she asked them.

Karin eyes were gleaming with joy over seeing that they had been saved and walked towards Sasuke. "Oh Sasuke! You saved us! Thank you so much!" she told him, although the raven-haired man seemed to not care about her antics and merely gave Karin a nod in approval.

"Hey! Aren't you supposed to say that to me!?" Suigetsu barked at the four-eyed redhead, only for her to huff and cross her arms. The white-haired man got furious over seeing this. "What the hell!? Here I bust my ass to save my wife and daughter yet you give me the cold shoulder!?" he asked in anger.

Karin finally took a glance at her husband. "Well, I would've been grateful if you had stopped cheating on me and fucked my pussy more often!" she then angrily and vulgarly spat back, much to everyone's surprise, except for Jurou, who was asleep and Sasuke, who didn't seem to care.

"For the love of God, Karin! You promised you wouldn't bring that up, especially with the kids around!" Suigetsu snapped back, even getting closer to Karin's face.

Kotone only felt more embarrassed when seeing her parents acting like a couple of teenagers. "Please get a divorce!" Kotone said inside of her, not wanting to say something as harsh as that in front of everyone. But then again, she never knew the reason why her parents were still married, despite all these accusations of cheating and stuff.

But Sasuke suddenly cleared his throat, this catching everyone's attention. The raven-haired man was about to say something. "Anyway, all of you inside this room may have not seen it, but the Leaf Village is actually under invasion" he revealed to them.

The group was shocked when hearing this, especially Karin. "An invasion….by whom!?" she asked in disbelief. "Has the Stone Village and the Cloud Village taken advantage of the Chuunin Exams and now hope to use it as an opportunity to invade us!?" she then asked out lout.

Suigetsu's face slumped. "Are you seriously THAT ignorant!?" he asked her. "I mean, did those shinobis even look like Stone or Cloud ninjas?" he then tried to correct her.

"You can tell her everything once we're outside" Sasuke told him and then glanced at Karin. "We need to evacuate from the stadium immediately. The invaders have somehow began pouring into it and plan on wiping out everything they come across. Karin, your healing abilities would be greatly appreciated" he then told her.

Karin nodded her head with a smile. "Sounds like a good idea, Sasuke. But what about Jurou? He is still recovering from his injuries" the four-eyed woman asked while looking over her shoulder to see the orange-haired boy.

Ino stepped forward. "Don't worry. Before she left, Lady Tsunade contacted the hospital and the medics. If we can bring all the injured over there, then they'll be safe, that I promise you" the blondie said to her.

"Then what are we waiting for?" Suigetsu asked and cracked his knuckles. "Let's scram and rendezvous with the rest of the gang outside. We only left them to save the team of my sweet daughter" he said while patting Kotone's head in a fatherly manner, although the young girl didn't seem to care that much.

"HUMAN BOULDER!" the group could suddenly hear a loud voice coming from a nearby corridor and the group rushed to see who it was. But as they were no their way, they could hear a large crash.

"What the hell was that!?" Karin asked in outrage.

Ino chuckled nervously. "Wherever it came from, it is without a doubt Choiji. He and Shikamaru must be nearby" the blondie said.

And yes, Chouji had in fact, used the Human Boulder to get rid of enemy shinobis along the corridor. However, he had managed to crash into the wall, thus creating a large hole in the wall, which give them a clear view of what was happening outside.

Chouji chuckled nervously when seeing his results. "Eh…...I might've been taken it too far. But at least I got rid of the enemy" the chubby man insisted to Shikamaru, who was facepalming in return.

"Well, it's aboundingly clear that you're getting a bill for the damages" Shikamaru replied, not believing what he just saw. "What a pain in the ass" he added to his thoughts.

The two friends then took a glance at what was happening outside and things did not seem to go well. Even now, they could see flyers till patrolling the air along with the airships. But the enemy shinobis had instead of continuing pouring into the stadium, decided to spread across the entire Leaf Village, thus wreaking havoc upon everything at the same time.

"Damn it! Those cunning bastards really fooled us! The guards stationed at the gates are sure to be surprised" Shikamaru noted to his comrade.

But all of a sudden, they could feel a tremor occurring near the stadium and the entire building was shaking. Dusts began falling from the roofs above them, as well as small tints of bricks.

"A tremor! Who's doing this!?" Chouji asked in shock as he was struggling to hold balance. But he could see someone standing on the ground below them causing this tremor. Chouji's eyes snapped in anger.

It was one of the Elemental Ascendants: Furue of the Earth. She was currently causing this by bending down and digging her hands into the ground. Chouji realized that if not stopped, Furue could end up destroying the entire stadium. Without even hesitating, the chubby man bloated his hands and dived from opening in the stadium towards the ascendant. Shikamaru was completely stunned by seeing this.

"CHOUJI…..WHAT ARE YOU….." Shikamaru asked in disbelief.

But the chubby man was determined and readied his giant palms. "YOU'RE NOT ENDANGERING INNOCENT PEOPLE!" he exclaimed loudly and slammed his hands at Furue, this sending her to the ground. The punch was so hard that even a crater was formed underneath her. Chouji was now standing upon the chubby woman's body, glancing down at her with serious eyes. "That should stop you" he said lowly.

"Foolish fleshling!" the voice came from Furue and before Chouji knew it, sharp pillars mad of earth suddenly stretched out from the woman's rocky back. The chubby man quickly jumped backwards and landed away from the crater.

Chouji landed on his behind and watched in surprise. "Man…..that was close. Did she survive my attack?" he asked in his head and slowly got up on his feet.

Furue had done that and she jumped off the crater and landed on the other side facing him with her rocky arms crossed and gazed upon Chouji with eyes of steel. "You do possess remarkable abilities, fleshling. I can even tell that I felt your attack" she said to him before reaching out her chubby arms and slowly raising them up to herself. "But unfortunately for you, it wasn't strong enough to the deepest insides of me" she added to her explanation, as she raised the crater back to the way it was before. The ground was completely back to normal.

Chouji was stunned when seeing this. "Wow, she really is one remarkable lady now that you think about it" he noted to himself but then readied his fighting stance. He even forced a smug smile. "Sorry to burst your bubble here, lady. But I can't allow you to cause more havoc in this village. Therefore, I have to stop you. That is the current objective future head of the Akimichi clan: Chouji Akimichi" the chubby man explained firmly.

His opponent was not amused by what he was hearing and simply readied her fighting stance as well. Furue was not impressed by Chouji at all. "So, a mere Akimichi dares to stop me?" she asked in boredom. "Hmmm…how disappointing. I would rather fight an Inuzuka than the likes of you" she then admitted.

Although Chouji was slightly offended by Furue's remarks, he easily brushed it off and smiled smugly. "Well, I'm all you got for now, so there's no need for complaining" he added to his statement.

Out on the tribunals

When deciding to leave, Saskue and his group had noticed that the corridors were on fire. With the help of the water jutus from Suigetsu, Kotone and Aoi, they were able to continue moving. Sasuke and his group had accidentally managed to return to the tribunals by using one of the emergency exits, in which they were given a shocking view. The pool of lava had now reached to the seats and it was overflowing them as a result. The seats were either melted or burned into ashes. Even now, the heat of this place was enormous.

"My God…" Suigetsu said lowly.

"What happened here?" Ino wondered as she could feel the heat take on her. "And more importantly why are her back at the tribunals? The emergency exits are supposed to take us outside the stadium, not lead us to the same place!" the blondie pointed out.

Sasuke took a few steps forward and saw what was happening. "This pool of lava…if whoever did this is not stopped…..then that lava could be unleashed upon the entire village" the raven-haired man noted, as he analyzed the situation.

"But what about the group that is evacuating!? Surely they must've exited the…." Ino was interrupted when she and the others could spot someone jump out from the pool of lava and land on the same level as them. "What the hell!?" she asked in disbelief and shock.

The one who was standing there was one of the Elemental Ascendants: Kazan of the Fire. His body composed of fire and lava took a glance at the group. The man with the fiery beard grinned when seeing them standing there.

"Fools! You dare defile the heat that thrives in this environment!?" he asked out loud and even pointed his hand at the pool of lava. "THIS is only the beginning of remaking the Land of Fire. When the lava is unleashed it will wash over the entire Leaf Village and its surrounding countryside! And there is nothing a group of insect like you can do to stop me!" he exclaimed loudly.

"Remaking the Land of Fire?" Karin asked lowly. "That man is insane!" she exclaimed in disbelief.

Suigetsu only shrugged his shoulders. "Tell me about it. He sure as hell looks ugly" the white-haired man remarked, starting to actually agree with Karin on something. He then glanced at Sasuke, but noticed that the raven-haired man was now walking towards Kazan. "HOLD ON! YOU'RE NOT SERIOUSLY THINKING ABOUT…" he stopped as Sasuke slowly turned around to face them.

"Ino, Suigetsu, Karin, take the children out of the stadium and bring the sleeping one to the hospital" Sasuke told them while motioning at Jurou, who was being carried by both Aoi and Kotone. The raven-haired man then focused his attention on Kazan. "I will stay here and teach this fool a lesson in humility" he said.

Karin gasped as she heard that. "Have you lost your mind!? You'll only get fried into…" Karin was suddenly held back by Suigetsu, who only sighed in irritation when hearing his wife worrying over someone she was not married to.

"Just give it a rest, Karin! He's right about us getting the kids to safety!" he said to her before fixing a smug glance at Sasuke. "You go get him, pal! And make sure not to die on me! I'm still dreaming about testing my skills on you!" Suigetsu told him before dragging Karin and the kids away.

But Ino remained there for a little longer to speak to Sasuke. "You really think you can stop this, Sasuke?" she asked while wanting an honest answer from her husband.

"It's not about whether I can or not, Ino!" Sasuke snapped, but not out of anger or irritation. "Naruto and the others are concentrating on getting the civilians evacuated, but they are hardly safe from this. That is why I will stop this lava and save the Leaf Village" the raven-haired man told his wife, who was stunned to hear all this.

Nevertheless, Ino couldn't help but to smile, as she understood what Sasuke was planning to do. In secret, Sasuke was trying to stop Kazan as a way to repay the Leaf Village for giving him a second chance, as well as being able to have a family.

Smiling with confidence, Ino gave Sasuke a typical tough woman gesture. "Then show him what you got. I will go outside and take care of our sons! And come back alive, if not, then you know what's gonna happen!" the blondie exclaimed before walking off to join the rest of the gang.

Sasuke had only closed his eyes while he heard that, but Kazan had slowly begun taking steps towards him. The ascendant crossed his arms and glanced down upon the raven-haired man.

"Hmmm…..your appearance reminds me of an Uchiha. Curious, that fallen clan of Madara Uchiha became extinct a generation ago. Who are you?" Kazan asked while demanding an answer from the raven-haired man.

Sasuke merely frowned, his eyes still closed. "The Uchiha clan had many heroes, but Madara Uchiha was not one of them, and never has been" Sasuke replied sternly. His eyes finally opened, thus revealing his Mangekyo Sharingan, as well as those he had inherited from his older brother Itachi. The raven-haired man glanced at Kazan with dispassion. "I am Sasuke, son of Fugaku, now last of the Uchiha clan. I am also the last surviving purest member" Sasuke introduced himself with no hint of pleasantry in his voice.

Kazan merely laughed out loud when hearing this. "And you suppose that it will make me submit defeat!?" he loudly demanded to know, before blowing out fire from his giant mouth. With quick wits, Sasuke managed to dodge it, yet still remained cautious about his opponent. The ascendant seemed keen to fight the Uchiha. "Imbecile! Compared to me, the Uchiha clan is nothing but a colony of ants wielding my element! The living fires you see before you are nothing compared the flames of an Uchiha!" he boasted proudly.

Despite hearing this, Sasuke merely formed a smug smirk. "Hmmm….you will die an arrogant fool, ascendant" he noted in his head.

On the top of the stadium

While lava was overflowing down below, the circled roof of the stadium remained mostly intact. But all of that was to change when the clouds began moving, thus creating strong winds on the circled roof. A storm was slowly approaching the Leaf Village. At the same time, someone appeared on the circled roof thanks to the winds.

It was one of the Elemental Ascendants: Juryoku of the Wind. The being dressed in weird clothes and wind surveyed what was happening below, taking notice of Kazan's fight against Sasuke, as well as Furue's fight against Chouji. His eyes narrowed cunningly.

"Furue, your tremors can wait a while longer. Do not forget what the almighty Hirihito promised me" the ascendant said to himself as if he was speaking to Furue directly. He then looked down at the pool of lava. "And Kazan, make sure that your work does not interrupt mine! I want to make a tornado that will swipe off the Leaf Village of its existence!" he then declared, pretending he was actually speaking to his fellow ascendant.

"That will not happen!" Juryoku snapped as someone was speaking to him. Turning around, he could see somebody appear before him by using sands. Eventually, the sands became a person, and it was none other than Gaara who was standing here with his arms crossed. The red-haired Kazekage narrowed his eyes at what he was seeing. "You will no longer cause terror among these innocent people, ascendant. I will see to it" he told Juryoku.

The ascendant couldn't help but to muse to himself. "Ah, so the misbegotten host of Shukaku has come to stop me? You run bravely into your death, young one" Juryoku said.

Gaara's expression remained unchanged. "Mind your tongue" he told him strictly. "You seem to know me quite well. I can see that you have actually been to the Land of Wind, based upon your clothes" the Kazekage then told him.

"Yes, I know about the Sand Village and its people, Fitfh Kazekage. And I see that you seem to have some form of knowledge about us Elemental Ascendants. This must be thanks to those accursed siblings: Chiyo and Ebizio" Juryoku noted and suddenly pointed one of his fingers at Gaara. "However, they are not the only ones to know about our existence. Your predecessor and father Rasa did as well" the ascendant revealed cunningly.

Gaara's eyes widened in surprise when Juryoku heard this, as he couldn't believe that it was true. However, being a Kazekage, Gaara had completely changed in terms of thinking. In fact, Gaara unleashed the sand from his gourd and faced his opponent sternly.

"My father may have never told me about your existence, but even if he did, it wouldn't change a thing" the red-haired man said and gathered the sand around him. "I am the Kazekage now, not my father. As such, I will deal with you on my own terms. That is my vow to you!" Gaara exclaimed as a true leader would.

Juryoku only laughed at Gaara's words. "And you suppose that this declaration will boost your morale?" he asked before laughing once again, gathering wind around him. "What an obnoxious Kazekage I am facing! My winds will easily blow off your precious sand and turn it into dust!" the ascendant said while mocking Gaara's ability.

The Fifth Kazekage remained untouched by that statement. He only thought about what he was going to do now. "Very well, Juryoku of the Wind. You asked for it" he replied and their fight could begin.

Inside the stadium

"Aw come on! Give me a break!" Suigetsu yelled in frustration, as he found himself lost in the many corridors. In fact, he had managed to lose track of Karin, Ino and the kids, and was now wandering around the corridors all by himself. "Damn you, Karin! Here I was just going to the bathroom to fill up my bottle, only for you and the other to take off without me!" the white-haired man was filled with anger.

Suigetsu reached to a corner and wondered if he had found the right way. But turns out it was not, as it was another long corridor. The Mist Village swordsman couldn't take it anymore and pulled out his blade while flexing his muscles.

"Fine! If I can't find my way through, then perhaps I can cut my way through!" the white-haired man declared with confidence.

But the white-haired man was in for a surprise as for some reason the floor he was standing in felt wet. Looking down, Suigetsu snapped in surprise by seeing that the floor was actually over flowing with water.

"WOAH…..SINCE WHEN DID THIS PLACE….." Suigetsu was interrupted when he could see water streaming out from the bathroom, it was filling the entire corridor. "WHAT THE FUCK!?" he asked in disbelief, as he was taken in by the water.

The whole corridor was filled with water, but being a Mist ninja and a member of the Hozuki clan, drowning was the least of his worries. However, he did in fact swim through the water, until he reached to stairs that led to the next floor. If he could get up, then it was possible for him to walk again. He got out of the water and walked through the corridor in his wet clothes.

"Eww…..swimming through the water from toilets!?" Suigetsu asked in disgust. "This can't possible get any worse!" he added to his statement.

"This water is 100 % clean and pristine" Suigetsu snapped as he could hear a voice call to him.

Drawing out his sword Kubikiribōchō, the white-haired man remained steady while looking on both sides. "Who's there? Show yourself, and I may give you the honor of letting you taste my blade!" he angrily demanded.

But suddenly, the water slowly began rising up from the floor he previously was standing and now, water was overflowing the floor he was standing on. Suigetsu was filled with disbelief, as he looked back the way he came.

"Shit! The water's rising!" he said in disbelief only to hear laughter once again.

This time, someone suddenly appeared before him, and it did so with the help of water. Suigetsu stepped a further back and watched as a shaping took place before him. Soon, it became apparent that this was one of the Elemental Ascendants: Genzai of the Water. The young man with sea green hair smiled at the swordsman. His entire body was completely watery and Suigestu could see that.

"Nice to meet a Mist ninja in the Village Hidden in the Leaves. I am Genzai of the Water" the young man said while even reaching out a hand to him.

Suigetsu was simply dumbfounded. "You think I'm willing to show hospitality towards someone like you? Hell no!" he snapped in return and swung his blade. As he swung, Genzai's body disintegrated and the white-haired man's purple eyes snapped in surprise. "Did I actually hit the bastard?" he quizzed to himself.

"You really are a rude man, aren't you?" the voice came from Genzai, as he appeared from behind Suigetsu, crossing his arms in disappointment. "Fair enough. If you are not interested in what I am about to do, then may you vanish from my sight! Be gone, little fish!" the ascendant said and before Suigetsu knew it, water began streaming out from the bathroom once again.

Suigetsu was completely taken surprise by this. "Is he bringing water through these corridors by using the bathrooms?" he wondered and saw how proud Genzai was of himself.

The man with sea green hair only smiled smugly. "With the power to control water and everything liquid, I will overflow this stadium's interiors with water! And when I have gathered enough water, I will release it upon the Leaf Village! The entire village will be overflown with water!" he exclaimed out of pride.

Suigetsu was surprised to hear this from him. "Now this is strange. Is this jackass even aware of the giant pool of lava that's in the middle right now?" he wondered in his head before fixing a smug grin with his teeth. "Hmmmm…..maybe I can use his negligence to my advantage and then help Sasuke with slowing down the lava processing" the white-haired man was thinking about something cunning.

On the top of the Hokage Monument

Minami Hyuuga was currently being held captive by one of the Elemental Ascendants. The young woman named Eikyo of the Lightning. She had requested that some guards assist her with carrying the young girl in chains. Riko was also held hostage, as he was currently on leash. But the young dog was too helpless to do anything right now. The young bluenette even wondered what was going to happen, and she had also begun to see what was really happening all over the Leaf Village.

"No….." she noted lowly while seeing destruction and battle reining in. "How could this happen!?" she asked out in disbelief.

"Awww….is the little Hyuuga missing her parents already?" Minami angrily gritted her teeth in anger over hearing the question Eikyo was asking her. The woman with her body sparkling with lightning merely glanced at her smugly. "You don't have to worry about anything, little girl. In time, you will be given as an offering to the almighty Hirohito himself. Consider this a great honor" she told her.

Minami clenched his fists tightly. "You bastards….why are you doing this!?" she angrily demanded an answer. "Why, when the Leaf Village has an important day, do you chose to cause this chaos!?" she asked once again.

But Minami suddenly felt a zapping coming from Eikyo, as she had fired a tint of lighting at her. She looked kind of bored. "Zap it, runt! You ignorant humans have no authority to decide what day to celebrate anything!" she said to her before forming an evil smile. "And besides, your time is up! The Brotherhood of the Blue Moon will soon emerge as the true rulers of this world. And we, the Five Elemental Ascendants will be its sworn knights on the corners of their world!" she added in a delightful mood.

But she and the others could suddenly hear the screams to some of her men and hearing this made her angry. Minami however, had activated her Byakugan and she could see clearly who it was. The young bluenette was filled with happiness over what she was seeing, as was Riko.

"What the hell's going on, now!?" Eikyo angrily demanded, only to see two shinobis stand before her. Her eyes widened in surprise. "Hold on…..you're also a" she uttered out words as she glanced at the woman who had arrived.

Kiba and Hinata stood there, along with Akamaru. Hinata's eyes were filled with determination, as she was willing to fight. Kiba's eyes on the other hand, were filled with anger. The brown-haired man even cracked his knuckles, his feral eyes never leaving sight of Eikyo.

The ascendant was not pleased with seeing Kiba. "Pfft…..looks an inbred halfwit! Who are you, anyway?" she asked while crossing her arms.

Kiba's teeth gritted in anger, and his gaze could never be ignored. "Someone you shouldn't piss off!" he angrily replied to Eikyo.

To be continued…
