Eleanor was completely entranced by the Genie. No one had told her there was a magical genie they were about to meet. She, Sora and Aladdin had been reeling after the mysterious encounter in the Cave of Wonders. Aladdin bagged them a sack full of gold and jewels that would be plenty to appease the greedy peddler who had the lamp to trade for it. They had been trying to decide how best to proceed when all the sudden, and in a dramatic puff of blue smoke, they were back in the peddlers shop. Eleanor took hold of Sora's arm to steady her spinning head as she looked around. It was empty as if the shifty man had never been there. Empty of course except Donald, Goofy and the centuries old Genie who had poofed them into the room from the middle of the desert to berate them for the time he had been gone for.

"So, Al. You wanna tell me what exactly has been going on with you? I leave you alone for two weeks, tops. Two weeks and you go all crazy and disappear from the palace? I thought that's what you wanted? I through you wanted the glamour and I thought we already went through this whole song and dance to win you the princesses heart huh? Literally! A song and a dance and I paraded you into the palace, any of that ringing any bells Al?"

The Genie spoke at about a hundred miles an hour. His body changed form to emphasis points seemingly without him noticing and his shimmering body paced back and forth in front of Aladdin in the empty shop.

Sora sighed and sat on one of the piles of rubble at Eleanor's side that had seemingly appeared from underneath the peddlers counters and rugs. Donald stood beside Sora with his arms crossed and Goofy stood just in front of them, watching the Genie carefully. Her eyes trailed after him and the only reason she felt grounded was because of the warmth of Sora's shoulders near hers. Jasmine had told Donald and Goofy that Aladdin had been acting weird, running away at all hours of the day and night and she was concerned it was heartless. As the princess had been speaking to them was when the Genie had reappeared and made a whole show of finding Aladdin and Sora.

Eleanor could say without a shadow of a doubt the only heartless problem plaguing Agrabah was Pete and wherever he had disappeared to after summoning a huge group of the monsters for Sora to fight. She was sure they hadn't seen the last of him but then again they never did. The other concerning thing was the presence of the Nobody, Xigbar. He was looking for something. That or baiting them to work into the hands of his Superior and she didn't much like either of those to options. She was sure he was gone, he had got what he wanted. Her and Sora further apart then they had been. She sighed and bit her lip.

"Hey." Sora's voice was quiet at her ear.

"Hey." She responded. She looked up to him with a quick forced smile.

Donald stole a quick glance up at the pair as the Genie continued to reprimand Aladdin for his actions but decided to ignore them. They were finally talking.

"I don't blame you. For running after the Nobody I mean." Sora said quickly. "I'm not mad. I don't think I could ever be mad at you. Just worried. About you. That's not exactly what I meant. I know that you can defend yourself and all. But when I can't.. er that is to say I can't always.. I don't want you to get hurt over something like running away where I can't see you."

It wasn't what she had been expecting him to say. The wedge the Nobody was trying to drive between them weakened and she felt warmth flood her heart. Things weren't as hopeless as she had thought. "That's all I want too. I just want you safe."

He smiled and took her hand tightly in his. "Me too. So let's try harder." He hesitated. "And sorry. About everything."

"Don't be. I'm sorry too." She searched his bright eyes for a moment before stealing a quick glance down at their hands. "Can I hold your hand again? I miss holding your hand. I miss being able to reach out and touch you whenever I want. I feel like I can't now. Like something is stopping me. Like you don't want me to." She hadn't meant to say all that she did but it had slipped out and she wasn't sure what else to say. She kept her gaze on his hands.

He flushed. "That's not true at all. You can hold my hand whenever you like. You could have held it before if you wanted." He threaded his fingers between hers and with the other hand touched her cheek to return her attention to his eyes. The Genie was still talking on the other side of the room and Donald and Goofy seemed to be preoccupied with something, probably intentionally not paying attention to them so they could say what needed to be said. Sora's eyes got sad and big and he took a short breath. "Look, I'm just so sorry El. I didn't mean for any of those bad things to happen. Especially not to you. I can still almost feel whatever darkness they touched you with. It's hard to explain and it's just a constant reminder of how I messed up." He hesitated and bit his lip. "I don't want to feel that way when I look at you. I want to feel happy and warm and.."

"It's alright Sora." She forced another smile as he trailed off. "I understand everything. It's like I said before, whenever you're ready. I will be here for you forever and ever. What happened didn't change the way I feel about you. I still want to be the one to protect you."

"I know."

His eyes locked on hers and she let out a short breath as his hand slipped down to the soft skin just under her ear and his thumb trailed over her cheekbone. His eyes were so many shades of blue and she realized how close he was. Her heart thudded in her chest and as she lost her thoughts, the building around them rumbled dangerously and the spell was broken.

Sora's hand slipped from hers. "Sorry."

"Don't be." She whispered breathlessly.

His eyes focused and he turned to Donald and Goofy, who both shook their heads.

"Gawrsh what was that?" Goofy set his hands on his face.

"Probably heartless." Donald's wand was suddenly in his hands.

"Ooh. Probably a big problem. What do you think Sora." The Genie puffed across the room and reappeared between him and Eleanor. "You're here because of the heartless, right? How about that big bad Pete? I've seen him lurking around. And look!" He puffed again and turned to Eleanor. "You haven't even introduced me to your new friend. Where are your manners huh?" He pushed Sora back a little and took one of her hands. Sora only crossed his arms across his chest and smiled. "You can call me the all powerful Genie. Try not to be intimidated. Any friend of Sora is a friend of mine." He winked.

The tension eased out of the room again. "So I've heard. Sora has lots of friends. I'm Eleanor. The pleasure is mine." She bowed deeply.

"Oh you're making me blush. No need for any of that." Genie waved off her gesture.

The room rumbled again.

"Ooh, gotta go! Al, you and your friends can handle this for now? I'll contain the bad guys here in the city and fixing any damage they cause will be a walk in the park but you guys have gotta be the ones to take them out. You know how the magic works, I can't really help you too much. Hasta la vista then!" The Genie's animated hands danced everywhere and then in another puff of smoke he was gone.

Dust fell from the ceiling of the peddler's empty shop and suddenly Sora's hand was in hers again. His eyes were practically burning with light and she felt fire ignite in her veins where his fingers touched hers. She felt light dance across her gaze and was overwhelmed by the dizzy feeling in her head. Whatever magic had helped her break through Hades defenses would be easy to summon again. She set her jaw and looked to Sora for guidance.

"Come on. We gotta get to the palace. That's exactly where Jafar will be waiting." He said quickly.

"Oh no Jasmine." Aladdin said quickly and rushed out into the market place.

"Come on we gotta help!" Donald jumped into the air and followed after Aladdin.

When they all burst into the sunlight, it was rather obvious that the source of the rumbling was the heartless that had flooded the streets. The people who had been packed into the spaces earlier were gone. She hoped they had fled to safety and hadn't been devoured by the dark creatures.

"I've gotta check on Jasmine." Aladdin said frantically, pulling out the sword that had been hanging unused on his belt until then. "Can you guys handle the heartless?"

"Leave it to us." Goofy said valiantly, holding out his shield. "We'll be there lickety-split to help you with Jafar."

Aladdin was gone in a rush of steel through the swarm of shadowy monsters. Sora dropped her hand and turned so that they stood back to back. His keyblade filled his hands in a silvery flash. Eleanor was left almost breathless as the magic lit his face in a shower of sparkles and ruffled his hair around his eyes. He wasn't looking at her, as his eyes scanned the invading heartless in the market. She leaned up closer to his back, letting his warmth bleed into her shoulder blades. When the warmth flooded into her heart, her keyblade appeared on its own accord in her hands. She felt him shift behind her and stole a glance back at him. His eyes were shining and he was smiling and so she could smile too. The light magic was almost overwhelming, threatening to burst through her skin. She blocked the swiping attacks of one of the heartless when one it tried to push towards Sora, who she was standing in front of with her keyblade braced against her hands. The light that was bouncing through her skin was making her keyblade shine.

"What's the plan Sora?" Donald squeaked as he summoned another ring of fire that spun around him and destroyed three massive heartless in its wake.

"Get to the Palace. We have to destroy the heartless before they destroy the city." He looked to Eleanor who nodded.

"Lead the way." She said quietly at his ear. "As always."

His eyes fell to her glowing hands. "Can you use that again to help? Does it hurt?"

"I think so." Her arms were trembling with the amount of energy pulsing just under her skin. "No it doesn't hurt but I can't control it very well. Just say the word and I'll try to do it again."

He nodded and turned, taking a half step towards her back.

Goofy hurled his shield with a little grunt. In a dramatic fashion, it twirled around the entire space and managed to bounce off every heartless near them. He hopped up and caught his shield as it returned to him then grinned. "Well, what're you guys waiting for? At this rate Jafar will destroy the city!"

"Well done! That was incredible!" Eleanor sounded more shocked than she had meant to. The knight gave her a grin as Sora took hold of her hands again. In a group they all rushed in the direction of the palace and out of the dusty road.

"You know we gotta get to the palace. Be impressed later, alright? We gotta stop Jafar from hurting the Princess." Goofy skidded to a stop to block an attack from behind. A shadowy scimitar morphed out of its body and suddenly its form mimicked a thief with a scimitar, a mask and even the illusion of flowing clothes.

Donald threw another wave of fire back in the direction that they had come to take out the last. "There's more comin'!"

They were swarmed and separated again as they rushed onto another side street. Sora swung his keyblade with a little effort into a group of four of the monsters. Easily it sliced through the first three without any trouble, and the last blocked his attack with its phantom sword. He scowled and pushed it back with a shove on his shining weapon before swiping through the last monster. Another few crept up behind him, in an unending wave more heartless were always there to take the fallen monster's places. Before they could attack him Donald sent a blast of ice from his wand with a squawk of surprise and the monsters exploded in a shower of ice crystals. At the same time, Goofy and Eleanor stood back to back with a ring of monsters around them. Her eyes fell on Sora, who was valiantly fighting off a heartless bigger than any they had seen in this area. A dangerous looking huge round body that was covered in armor and fire floating around its hands.

"Do you think you can do what you did before Goof? Bounce the shield off of all of them?" She held out her hand as she spoke and gestured to the heartless. "Sora needs a hand."

Goofy twirled his shield around his hand. "Well gawrsh, I think I might be able to handle that."

She ducked under the attack as he spun in a quick circle on his toes and flung his shield like a frisbee with the momentum of the twirl. She blocked the attack of the first and closest heartless to protect him as his weapon was otherwise occupied. She stepped in front of him, ready to defend him from the heartless who were too close for his spinning shield, the light magic bounced through her skin and she tried her best to contain it. Before they swarmed her, a huge gust of wind paired with a few bolts of lightning obliterated the last lingering heartless. Donald skidded to a stop at her side with a stern look on his face just as the knight's impressive shield destroyed the last of the group and he hopped up into the air to snag it back.

"Well done!" She said enthusiastically. "Both of you!"

"Thanks for the hand." Sora thanked Donald and Goofy before his hands pulled her quickly and her attention refocused on the palace that was not just behind one more wall. "It looks like something is going on at the palace. That's where Aladdin went and there's no doubt where Jafar is too."

Her blue eyes found the gilded tower just in front of them, through the cluttered skyline of rooftops. Sure enough a billow of red smoke was pouring out of what she could assume was the castle courtyard and was fogging up the last alleyway they needed to traverse before they could stop the attack on Agrabah. Sora set a hand on her shoulder.

"Hang onto that light a little longer if you can. We're gonna need it." He whispered.

"I'm trying." She clenched her fists around her keyblade.

"You!" The peddler was rushing from the direction of the palace, away from the danger and towards Sora and the others. "You must help. That monster has the Princess!"

Eleanor rolled her eyes. "Well no joke then. It's almost as if he was sealed in the Cave for a reason, isn't it." She managed, even though she was doubled over with her hands on her knees.

The Peddler scowled up at her as he stopped. "You must help them. Please understand this isn't what I intended to happen at all."

Donald crossed his arms across his chest. "And what did you intend to happen than huh? Jafar is a bad guy and you let him out!" He squawked.

"The draw of the treasure was too much. And the man in the black coat promised me riches but then he took the lamp and ran." The peddler sighed. "I am ashamed by my weakness in the face of treasure."

"Black coat?" Goofy muttered.

"The man from the cave?" Eleanor asked quickly as she stood and straightened out her back. "He was much more powerful than the others. If he's responsible for this then there's no doubt in my mind this problem is bigger than just Jafar." She shivered as she remembered the way that reality had almost melted around the grey haired Nobody's hands and the way he could bend reality to his will.

Sora cringed, but nodded. "Well, just get yourself somewhere safe I guess and we'll handle this mess."

"Even if you are responsible for this mess." Donald grumbled as the man nodded a quick apology and disappeared down an alleyway in the other direction.

After another quick moment, a tremor shook the ground. The group rushed forward and broke through the red fog and into the palace courtyard. Immediately the situation was presented to them. Sora took a half step to the front of the group and Donald and Goofy stepped to the sides. Eleanor took a moment to take in the stand off at hand. A man, clad in dark robes had restrained who she assumed was the Princess Jasmine with some sort of smoky magic. Aladdin too was restrained but he was fighting valiantly to free himself while Pete looked on. His huge arms were crossed over his chest and he was laughing. He stopped laughing abruptly when Sora's keyblade appeared in a flash in his hands.

"Hey! Let them go." Sora demanded.

"If it ain't the keybrat and his friends, back for round two." Pete chuckled.

Jafar turned on them with a growl. "You." His dark eyes narrowed dangerously at Sora. "You're responsible for my defeat before. I had everything at the tip of my fingers and you took it from me." There was a dangerous edge to his face that made him pause.

"Let Aladdin and Jasmine go." Sora reasoned a second time with a less threatening and much softer tone. His keyblade disappeared as he took a quieter tone. The mad look in Jafar's eyes had everyone on edge. He held up his hands disarmingly. "Your fight is with me, that's fine. But let them go. They've got nothing to do with what I did to you."

"You forget who you're challenging boy. I am an all powerful genie and the most powerful sorcerer in the world." Jafar growled and waved the snake staff he clutched in his long fingers along with his words. "Fine, I will fight you. But when I kill you I will destroy this city and then kill your friends." In a flash Aladdin and Jasmine disappeared and a dangerous looking lightning snaked around Sora's body and lifted him a few feet up off the ground.

"No-" Eleanor felt her body freeze in place when the sorcerer turned to her. The light bouncing around in her blood fought to help Sora, but she held it. She would wait for his signal.

"Sora!" Donald and Goofy shouted. They too were quickly frozen in place.

"Stay where you are." He hissed.

Sora struggled against the crackling magic, trying to peek back at his friends to be sure they weren't in the same place he was. He winced as his hand brushed against the lightning.

"Are you alright?" Eleanor managed to meet his gaze for a moment.

"Sure for now. Ask me again in a couple minutes."

With a turn of Jafar's hand, Sora was turned upside down in the air and the magic tightened around his slim form. The sorcerer crept towards him with a thin and terrifying grin on his angular face. "I will make you suffer as I have suffered after my defeat." He hissed.

"Now, now Jafar. This is all well and good but Pete's here to collect the hearts." The huge creature hulked forward and in his own way, eased the tension between Jafar and the group frozen by his magic. "Can't let you have all the fun here. The heartless are itchin' to help out what d'ya say. You take the keybrat and the heartless will take care a the rest."

Jafar turned to Pete slowly, with a borderline manic look in his eyes. "The heartless. Yes bring them all." The red smoke from earlier began pouring out of his sleeves. "Leave me the boy who destroyed me the last time we met. The heartless can have the rest."

At the same time, Pete's loud laughter made Eleanor turn. In a wave of fire and an explosion of ice crystals, a pair of giant heartless appeared on either side of him as he stuck his tongue out and disappeared in puff of smoke.

"Oh." She said quietly.

Donald and Goofy followed her gaze across the courtyard towards the heartless.

"Oh." They both said together.

"What is it?" Sora twisted his body to eye the heartless from his upside down predicament. "Oh." He added to the situation.

Before he could say anything else, Jafar's form was completely surrounded in the strange red smoke and he grew into huge shadow. Bulging red arms and a huge red chest emerged from the smoke as he flew up towards the tallest tower of the palace. He had transformed into a sinister red Genie, and was laughing manically up in the sky. The magic surrounding Sora got stronger and began to lift him up into the sky.

"No, no, no!" He started to struggle again. Before he could get too high, Aladdin's magic carpet swooped down out of the sky and twirled around Sora's body. The lightening disappeared and he dropped onto the magic carpet.

"Sora!" Goofy shouted up to him.

"Oh thank goodness." Eleanor breathed.

As Jafar disappeared into the clouds the magic holding Eleanor, Donald and Goofy in place let them go and the shook their limbs out quickly. The Carpet looped through the air and brought Sora down to ground level. He knelt shakily as the carpet hovered closer to the ground. Eleanor took a few steps towards him and looked him over closely. He gave her a reassuring smile as he touched her cheek with the very tips of his fingers for only a second.

"You go high and we go low?" She asked.

Sora grinned. In a flash of light, his keyblade appeared. "You got it. Be safe and obliterate them with that light, got it?"

The carpet took him up into the cloud of red smoke and out of view. Eleanor took a half step in front of Donald and Goofy, who had both summoned their weapons, with her keyblade in hand. The giant elemental heartless stared them down, hovering slightly above the ground. They all stood still, until Donald squawked and threw a fireball at the icy heartless.

"Come on, come on!"

Goofy followed. "Here I come!"

"Wait!" Eleanor's glowing hands were shaking. It was a lot harder then she had expected to hold the magic back. Her knees were practically knocking together. "Okay.. Okay." She held out her keyblade and the light drained from her skin and into the battered looking weapon. She aimed it up at the two giant heartless and focused all of her energy on it. "Please work. Think of Sora. Focus, focus. Please."

With the muttered plea, she spun on her heels in a quick circle. The wave of energy pulsed out of the longest side of her keyblade like a wave and in a flash hit both of the heartles out of the sky and into the wall at the far end of the castle courtyard.

Donald and Goofy turned to her with their mouths hanging open.

"Finish them! Quickly please!" She fell to her knees and she let the tip of her keyblade touch the stones in order for her to lean up against it as her arms shook a little for the effort it had taken to hold the magic in her veins. "I have no idea how long that shock will last."

Donald squawked and rushed forward with his want in hand towards the ice elemental heartless. Fire was already building around the little wizard hat at the top of his magic wand. "Take the fire one Goof! It's easier to melt ice than put out a fire!" The firebolt shot out of his wand and hit the ice heartless with a loud hiss.

"Er, okay Donald if ya say so."

Eleanor turned away from them in order to look up at the massive cloud of red smoke that obstructed Sora from her view. The light magic had taken more out of her than when she had used it against Hades. Her arms were shaking and she could almost feel the shadows pulling at the corners of her vision again. Her mind was starting to stray from the fight at hand but she shook it away and turned away from the cloud of smoke. Her eyes found Goofy and she forced her shaking knees up off the dusty ground. The knight was struggling against the fire monster with the giant pike weapon. It had him pinned under his shield and he didn't seem to be able to push it back.

Eleanor tried to picture Sora in her heart to banish the shadows. She set her jaw and her keyblade flashed in some sort of encouragement. Her friends needed her and she knew she was tired but the fight was more important. She leaned heavily on her keyblade until it flashed a second time and she felt the tingling magic creeping back up her arms. She shook it off and rushed forward to defend him.

She slid in as the giant heartless raised its weapon to attack Goofy again and in a flash of light, she blocked the firey pike and pushed its floating form back. The giant's attention turned to her and for the first time she got a detailed look at it. A great red cape fluttered out behind it and its body was almost translucent, revealing a flow of lava through its middle. She glared up at it.

"Sorry I took a bit to recharge, Goofy. I'm alright now." Eleanor let out a breath.

Goofy laughed. "Gawrsh, no." He spun his shield on the tip of his finger and grinned. "You're right on time. I had everything under control." His gleaming sheild bumped him in the side of the head and clattered to the ground

She smiled to him and rolled her eyes before she turned back to the heartless. It stopped reeling and its featureless face seemed to snarl. She stole a quick look at Donald, who was battling magic with magic against the icy heartless on the other side of the courtyard.

"I've faced worse than you, beast." She grinned. "And I'll face worse again. Come on."

Sparks and flames licked off the monsters body as it readied for an attack. Goofy took advantage of how focused it was at Eleanor and hurled his shield, shining and twirling through the air and hit the heartless in the side of the shadowy head.

While it was distracted, Eleanor let her keyblade lead her as it had against Shan Yu an eternity ago. It pulled her up off the ground when she jumped and dragged her up towards the heartless, a little comet tail of light danced off her keyblade. She sliced it up through the middle and her feet touched briefly down on its shoulder. With another sweep of her keyblade and another flash of light, she flipped down on its backside. She took its arm with her and the giant heartless split perfectly in half and exploded in puff of smoke and shadows before she landed lightly on one knee on the other side of the monster with the tip of her keyblade resting on the dirt beside her.

The redhead let out another breath and turned in time to see the ice heartless turned to steam after a huge flame Donald threw from the tip of his wand. With a warm gust of wind and sparks, the curls around her face fluttered and she puffed her bangs out of her face. Her dark eyes turned to cloud of red smoke Sora was still hidden behind.

"We have to get up there to help him!" She stood and shook the light magic off her weapon and pointed up to the sky. "Donald isn't there anything you can do?"

The magician squawked and rushed to her side and took a half step behind her legs. "I don't know how you plan to do that! No magic I have will get you up that high." He shook his head and pointed up at the sky animatedly as he spoke.

Eleanor let out a nervous breath and tucked a wayward curl behind her ear. "How do we know he's safe? How can we know he's alive?"
Goofy appeared at her other side. "We don't."

"That's not good enough." She murmured.

Lightening snaked through the red smoke as Eleanor narrowed her eyes, trying to see through the shifting cloud. Another flash and then a few more and a roaring scream tore through the red. She tensed and like a bullet, the black lamp flew out of the cloud and into the dirt. She, Donald and Goofy glanced between one another before the screaming came again from within the cloud. All at once, the red smoke began to disappear into the lamp, like a great red tornado.

"Gawrsh.." Goofy muttered.

"What d'ya suppose happened-" Donald said at the same time.

In a rush, and with a trail of red smoke behind him, Sora on the carpet flew down out of the sky. He had a nasty looking cut on his cheek but appeared otherwise unharmed. "He's mad!" He shouted as the carpet slowed enough for him to pull all his friends on board. "C'mon, we gotta fly."

Donald and Goofy scrambled on and immediately grabbed onto the carpet for support.

Eleanor took the hand he had extended to her and wrapped her arms around his middle tightly before turning to try and see the giant red monster Jafar had become. "Dare I ask.. What happened?"

Sora laughed. "He lost and he's fighting it."

"And your face?" She stole a glance at the quickly bruising cut right at the bone on his cheek.

He turned. "It doesn't hurt."

"Good to know but that's not what I asked."

He rolled his bright eyes. "Don't worry. I mean do worry but worry about the genie destroying the city and not about a little bruise on my cheek."

"Look out!" Donald waved his wand and cast a protection spell as one of the towers of the palace hurdled through the air and threatened to crash into them. It crumbled onto the shield, but it held strong as the Carpet swerved through the air, trying to circle back to where the monster was slowly being dragged back into the lamp.

Jafar's powerful magic was tearing the city apart around him, in huge red clouds the tore buildings out of the dirt by their foundations and lighting the broke stone and brick apart like it was nothing. He was screaming and yelling and fighting against the lamps pull, trying to fly back up towards the sky. The Carpet flew them in a huge circle around the cyclone of conflicting magic, one trying to escape and one trying to contain. Ultimately, and in one final roar, Jafar was gone and Carpet dropped them back on the ground.

Donald and Goofy collapsed onto the destroyed courtyard floor.

"I've never been happier to see dirt." Donald closed his eyes.

Eleanor clung to Sora, to keep from falling over. "What was all of that." She whispered.

"That, young lady, was the draw-back of all this cosmic magic. Wouldn't you guess that all the power in the universe had a ball and chain attached to it huh?" The Genie was suddenly between her and Sora, grinning and shining with a blue light. "The Universe at your fingertips, but the tiniest studio apartment money can afford." He puffed away and picked Jafar's lamp up off the ground. "Only way to get those shackles off is to be wished free."

"Don't be a show off Genie." Aladdin's voice made them turn. The Princess Jasmine was following him as well. "Thanks for that by the way. Genie got us out of wherever Jafar sent us, but there were heartless swarming the city. Hope you don't mind that we disappeared."

"We had it handled." Donald crossed his arms over his chest.

Jasmine stole a worried glance around the courtyard. "Did you?"

"More or less your Highness." Goofy sounded embarrassed.

Eleanor turned away from the royal couple and took a half step towards the Genie. "You said before that you could fix any of the damage that might be done?"

"Only if you ask nicely." He giggled. Magic twinkled around his fingertips and he rose his hands high up above his heads.

"Just the way it was." Aladdin added quickly as he Genie got a dangerous look in his eyes. "Nothing crazy. Promsie?"

The Genie let out a long breath. "Sure, sure. Nothing crazy. Some people just don't know how to have fun."

In another whirlwind of sparkling magic that was white and blue this time, the buildings all fixed themselves and the pieces of the palace floated back into place. Eleanor felt her boots lift off the ground and her chopped hair fluttered around her ears. Her eyes were on Sora, who's eyes were almost glowing and the bruise on his cheek was fixed with a little wisp of smoke that ghosted across his face and left him grinning. Somewhere behind her Donald and Goofy both squeaked as the Genie's magic lifted them as well to fix the shattered ground beneath them. As quickly as it all happened, the magic was gone and the Genie was laughing.

"Easy peasy. Nothing extravagant, as promised." He gestured to the palace, everything in place as it had been. "Killjoy."

"Incredible." Eleanor spun on her toes to look at everything, perfectly put back together as if the fight had never even happened..

"I know. It would be more incredible if you let me really let loose." The Genie poofed away in another laugh and another sparkling cloud of blue smoke.

Aladdin rolled his eyes. He turned his attention on Sora, Donald and Goofy. "I am sorry that I couldn't help with the battle guys, but Jasmine needed to be protected. You know how much she means to me."

Jasmine took his hand. "You know I can handle myself." She corrected him quickly.

Sora laughed. "Yeah, yeah. Well you did go through a lot to win her heart. Plus we had it all handled, like Donald said."

"But I think now that you're all safe and the Genie is back its time for us to mosey." Goofy stole a glance at Donald who nodded and waved his wand up at the sky.

Jasmine hesitated. "Sora, the worlds are not at balance. I can feel it in my heart. Please be careful out there. Something is off balance, it could be dangerous but its unclear." She stole a quick glance at Eleanor that she didn't miss. Self consciously she looked down at the ground and tucked her hands into one another politely in front of her. "Please just be safe."

Sora bowed dramatically, followed quickly by Donald and Goofy. "Of course, your Highness."

"We're always careful." Donald added.

"We'll be safe as long as Aladdin stays out of trouble." Goofy said with a laugh.

Aladdin gave them all an exasperated look before letting out a long breath. "I, as crowned Prince of Agrabah, do solemnly swear to stay out of trouble. If you promise to not be strangers and come visit us when we're not having problems with monsters. See you guys around soon."

With that they were gone in a flash of light and they left another world behind.
