While Dean and Roman carried me to the house I winced and whimpered in pain with every little movement. "Almost there baby girl." Roman said. I looked up at the stars glowing brightly in the sky to try and relax and think about other things.
Flashback
I was only at work for half an hour and I already started throwing up. AJ came in and handed me a pregnancy test, "Here." I shook my head, "I'm not pregnant." she just gave me a look and started asking questions, "Have you and Dean had sex?" I rose my brow, "Well?" she kept egging on so I nodded. "Did you use protection?" I shook my head. "Did he pull out?" again I shook my head. She waved the test at me and I took it. "I'll wait outside." She said leaving the stall. I ended up taking 3 tests, and they all came out positive. I didn't know if I should be happy or sad. When I walked out of the stall AJ already knew but I guess needed confirmation. "Well are you?" I nodded. She had an "I knew it" smile on her face. I rolled my eyes but couldn't contain my smile. "What are you doing with all these pregnancy tests anyways." I asked. "Never know. I got 2 surprises already." I shook my head smiling. "So when are you gonna tell him." She asked. "After work I guess." I said kind of worried of his reaction. "Everything is gonna be ok JJ." She said hugging me.
*End of Flashback*
When we arrived I felt more drained than before. I brown skinned man with no hair and a white lab coat stood beside Seth waiting our arrival. The boys carried me into the house and gently laid me on the couch. "Easy" Roman said as they put me down. Roman explained the man in the lab coat what happened as Dean grabbed a blanket to cover me up. "I'm Alan Deaton, and I'm here to help you." He said with a kind voice. I shook my head in fear he'd find out what I am. "It's ok Jade I know what you are and its ok I'm a veterinarian." His voice sounded warm and gentle. "Is this some kind of joke, I'm not a dog or some cat." I said kind of offended. "It's ok he's also a druid." Seth said. "Mind if I take a look?" he gestured to my ribs." When I gave him the ok he pulled the blanket down a bit and pushed slightly on my ribs. AAAAHHH! I screamed in pain. Dean grabbed my hand and began to take away my pain again. I took a deep breath a smiled a bit at him. "I'm gonna have to cut her open to make sure nothing is punctured." Deaton said grabbing things out of his bag. I looked at Dean with a worried expression and he said what I was thinking, "Um, she's pregnant is this gonna effect it in anyway?" he asked and all eyes were on us shocked except Deaton. "Everything should be fine. Although I do suggest not shifting after 2 months of pregnancy." He said preparing his tools. "Why." I asked with more worry. "Well the shift could be fatal to the baby, its best to stay out of the moonlight on full moons until you are more controlled." I looked at Dean and he stroked his thumb across my knuckle and smiled reassuring me. I took a deep breath as Deaton asked me if I was ready before nodding my head.
*A few hours later*
I woke up on the couch. I didn't even realize I went to sleep. Dean was pacing back and forth in front of the coffee table with a worried look on his face. "Dean?" he rushed over to me, "Hey JJ how are you feeling." He asked while brushing the strands of hair out of my face with his thumb. "Better." I said with a smile, "is everything ok with me." I asked. "Yeah look," he pulled back the covers and my ribs were perfectly fine and there was no mark of me being cut. "Didn't Deaton cut me open?" I asked puzzled. "Yeah our kind heal fast and don't leave scars." He explained. I smiled and wrapped my hand around his nape and pulled him in for a long passionate kiss. This kiss was something I'd been waiting for what seemed like forever. "God, I missed you JJ." He said breaking the kiss but keeping our foreheads touching. "I thought I lost you." He stroked his thumb over my cheek. I felt my eyes start to burn with tears. "JJ what's wrong?" he asked in his most gentle voice. I shook my head. "C'mon talk to me." he said. "Are we ready?" I asked with a tear rolling down my cheek. "For what?" he asked concerned. "A baby." I responded. He smiled before saying "I'm ready if you are doll." He wiped my tears and kissed my forehead. "Eww!" I turned around to see Aiden, Ethan, and Isaac making faces at us. I smiled and got up to greet my brothers with a group hug. "Where you been JJ?" Ethan asked. I explained to them what happened and they were pissed but glad I was home. "I do want to see this wolf form of yours though." Aiden said with a smirk. Dean wrapped his arms around me from behind and kissed my temple. "I think she needs a break and some time to learn to control herself." The boys nodded, "Well we are gonna go on a run with Roman you guys wanna go?" Isaac asked. "Yeah let Jade experience the beast first hand." Aiden said with a fake evil laugh before getting smacked it the back of the head by Isaac. "Ow." He rubbed his head laughing. "I don't know how to control my shift." I said. "Just get on Dean, since that's how you like it." Aiden said with a smirk and a wink making them laugh. Even Dean was laughing, I glared at them and I felt my face getting hot so I walked outside and stood on the porch. Within 5 minutes, 4 wolves came from the side of the house. Isaac had a beautiful gray coat, and Ethan were almost similar both white but Aiden had a brown spot on his right eye and Ethan had a brown spot on his left eye. Roman had a very shiny black coat. And then there was Dean his gorgeous black coat shinned in the sun. He carried a backpack with clothes so they wouldn't run around naked in case they shifted and needed clothes. I climbed on his back careful not to hurt him, Jesus it's almost like sitting on a horse.
They ran through the forest and I've never felt more alive. It was a bumpy ride but I held on. They ran to a place deep in the woods for 3 hours and we ended up at Mcway Falls and surprisingly no one was here I got off Dean and looked around at the golden sand and ocean blue water. The sight was so breath taking I almost started crying. An arm came across my shoulder and I looked over to see Aiden, with jeans and no shirt, looking at everything. "Beautiful isn't it, I'm gonna bring Lydia here one day." He said sounding a little proud. "Look at you getting all sentimental." I said giggling. "Hey, I can be a romantic guy when I want to be." He seemed pretty serious about her. "Ok Romeo, slow down." I always messed with him about things like this. Isaac and Ethan started wresting, still in wolf form, in the sand like a couple of pups. In some ways they didn't grow up and I didn't want them to. It's almost like they are my own sons. Aiden went to go join them as I walked out to the water. I noticed some big paw prints on the beach so I assumed some wolves had been here. I put my feet in the water, it was nice and warm it put a smile on my face. This place seemed to have a power to make me calm and think about things. One thing I thought about the most was having a baby. It is gonna be the biggest change in my life besides becoming a werewolf. But a baby would change everything hopefully for the better. I never really thought about having kids before so I wasn't quite sure if I wanted to go through with it. Maybe bringing a baby into this isn't the best thing for it. "You ok?" I heard Dean's voice as his arms wrapped around me from behind. I shrugged and kept my eyes on the ocean. "It's about the baby isn't it?" after a while I nodded. He took a deep breath before he said, "You know everything is gonna be ok right, we are gonna get through this together." He kissed my cheek and rested his chin on my shoulder. His hands moved to my belly and started rubbing which made me smile. "My first son." This made my smile grow bigger, "How do you know it's a boy it could be a girl." I said placing my hands on top of his. "Father's instinct." I began to laugh at his response. "What about the, um…wolf thing?" I said biting my lip worried. He smiled, "Well when it's born it should be a full blooded wolf and we can just ask roman more about that since he is a pure blood, all I know is the baby will be stronger than us." I tensed up maybe this baby could be a bad thing. "JJ we are gonna be fine we have at least 9 months to prepare right, so lets use that time to figure everything out, but Jade getting rid of him isn't an option." How did he know I didn't say it out loud, "We can hear each other's thoughts. There is so much to learn about your other half." He turned me around and kissed my forehead. His positivity and encouragement eased my worry, he is so sure we can do this so maybe we can. I'm excited about having a baby especially Dean's but what's gonna happen is Mason comes back and thinks it's his? I never told Dean about what happened because he's so happy right now I don't want to ruin it. We heard Roman's howl so we headed back.
When we arrived Seth, and Roman looked angry and the girls looked worried as they looked at the side of the house. Dean jogged over to Roman and then Roman pointed at the house when Dean looked he immediately looked pissed. My brothers and I walked over to a horrific sight, and there carved into the house was "I'll be back for what's mine." The smell was all too familiar. We didn't know when Mason would attack but we have to be ready.
"Get inside." Dean said in a low almost growling voice. But I couldn't stop staring at the carving. "NOW!" I jumped at his sudden outburst and ran inside, when I heard Aiden yelling at Dean for the unnecessary tone. I got to the bedroom and shut the door before sitting on the bed. Thoughts were racing through my head one after the other. Hearing the guys arguing down stairs didn't help matters. After about an hour it quieted down and I heard footsteps coming up the stairs I thought it was Dean so I tensed up until Isaac opened the door. "Hey JJ." He greeted me with a warm smile and sat on the bed next to me. I laid my head on his shoulder and took a deep breath. "Is everything ok down there?" I asked. "Ha no, but they stopped fighting. Dean left so did Aiden and Ethan, probably went on a run." He said putting his arm around me and rubbing my back. "Dean left?" the disappointment in my voice was quite clear. "He'll be back he just needs to blow off some steam." He offered a warm smile and a hug.
I talked to Isaac for 2 more hours before he dismissed himself. I to take a hot shower to sooth my soreness and clear my head. I stood under the water for a few minutes before 2 arms wrapped around me. A shiver when up my spine and my first instinct was to punch but my hand was grabbed before I made contact, "It's just me JJ." I heard Dean's low raspy voice and relaxed against his naked body. He moved my long brown hair so the side of my neck was exposed before kissing it. "I'm sorry baby." He mumbled against my neck and kissed it again keeping his arms tightly wrapped around my nude body and I could feel his length against me. I had almost melted against him but I managed to maintain my posture. "For what." I asked trying to keep myself together. "Everything I put you through, yelling at u earlier and, scaring you just now, I don't want you to be afraid of me." He said in my ear before kissing my cheek. I turned around to face him and his beautiful eyes caught mine. "I'm not afraid of you." I said looking over his body, he was very dirty so I pulled him closer to the warm-hot water and rubbed the dirt from his body gently. He watched me silently as I grabbed the soap and squirted it in a washcloth. I washed him except for his length that had gotten bigger while I touched him. "I believe you can handle that." I said with a smirk, and held out the soapy cloth. He grabbed my hand and put it on top of himself, "Why don't you handle it for me darlin'?" he said, controlling my hand and making me slowly rub him. A small moan escaped him as he did so. He cradled my head in his hand and pulled me in for a long passionate kiss. My skin tingled with every inch he touched. We kissed until we were breathless, but when we finally broke the kiss, worry washed over me as he looked into my eyes because I knew what he saw. Yellow glowing eyes. I knew because during our kiss, I could feel the animal start to awaken. "I'm sorry." I said as I tried to exit the shower. His strong arms wrapped around me pulling me back to him. "Now is the time you learn to control that, you can't just walk away every time we touch each other." He whispered before kissing my ear. "How do I control something I don't understand." I was worried that I'd disappoint him if I wasn't able to control myself. "You find an anchor and use it to keep you human." I nodded and he gently put me against the shower wall and kissed me again. My body got heated and I could feel my fingers turning into claws and I pulled away and Dean grabbed my face and looked in my eyes, "Find your anchor baby." He said. That's it, the baby. I am not supposed to shift because of my baby. I thought of the little heart beat that I can hear in the dead silence. This baby needs me to remain human in order to live. I closed my eyes for a minute. With enough concentration I heard the small child inside me, the tiny fast beating from their little heart. I took a deep breath and retracted my claws, "There you go." He said with a smile and closed the small space between us. His soft lips were on mine, dominating my mouth with his tongue.
Our night was spent making sweet love and cuddling before starting again. I couldn't imagine my life to be any more perfect. I want to spend the rest of my life with this man, I hope he feels the same.
