-8 months later-

I woke up in my apartment in Clearwater, Florida. The sun seemed to shine all over my apartment. I loved it here, it was absolutely gorgeous. I still missed my house in California, but at least I had a beach view out my window. It hurt every time I knew Dean tried to contact me, but I never had the courage to answer any of his calls or any emails. I we could no longer hear each other's thoughts after I decided to leave the pack. I thought about going back to have the kids so Dean wouldn't miss it but I think its best I stay away. I was as big as ever and I felt every little movement that they made, it was a beautiful. Isaac wires me money to take care of myself and my children so I don't have to risk going out too much. My cell phone rang and I read the caller ID, Isaac. "Hey Isaac." I answered with a smile. "Hey JJ how you holding up." He asked. "I'm good, my double trouble is kicking like crazy." I chuckled and put my hand on my pregnant belly. "I bet. How much longer?" Isaac has been trying to keep tabs on my pregnancy. "Any day now." I smiled. "How is he." I asked, referring to Dean. "He's not any better than when he found out you left. He doesn't say much, doesn't run with the pack, eat maybe 2 times a month, his face never leaves the blank expression and his mind is quiet most of the time as well, he looks like shit, Mason will be back and there is no way in hell Dean is in any shape to defend himself or the pack if anything were to happen. He needs you, he needs his family." He said solemnly. Isaac has been trying to get me to talk to Dean and work things out and go home but Isaac said it himself, Mason could come back and neither Dean nor I are in any condition to fight. Just as I was about to answer I felt a gushing of water in between my legs. "Oh my god!" I said holding my stomach. "What is everything ok JJ?" he asked. "My water just broke, the babies are coming!" pain shot through my body like a bullet. "Call Deaton, I told him where you were and he went there to look after you in case you go in to labor, ill be there soon." And with that he hung up and I called Deaton. "Hello?" he said casually, "Deaton the babies are coming." I said gritting my teeth in pain as my contractions ripped through my body. "I'll be there in 5 minutes, just lay down." He said

I laid down on my sofa and the contractions didn't seem to be ending anytime soon. Deaton showed up with a woman with black hair and tan skin, carrying a table, no doubt that she was a werewolf. "Deaton hurry!" I clenched my teeth together in agony.

After 15 hours of pain finally out came my first child. "Congratulations Jade, it's a boy." The sight of my son, my first born child brought me to tears. "He's beautiful." The woman said. "Here comes the other one, push." Deaton handed the baby over to the woman and prepared for the other. I pushed as hard as I could. Within minutes another screaming baby was born. "Another boy." Deaton smiled at me. I was exhausted and could barely keep my eyes open. I watched as two younger men came in with two white basinets. "Rest Jade they'll be ok." I nodded and closed my eyes.

-8 hours later-

I woke to the sight of the woman feeding one of my sons. She looked up and noticed I was awake, "Hello." She greeted me with a smile. "Hi." Who is this woman? "I'm Talia Hale." She said as she stood up. "I'm the alpha of the Hale Family." She said. "Where's there father?" she asked gesturing to my sons. "In California." I wasn't sure what it was about Talia that made me want to trust her so much. Maybe it's an alpha thing. "You broke up?" she asked as she handed me the oldest twin. "Something like that, I ran away to keep them safe." As if Talia didn't need any more than that she nodded and handed me my newborn, "You know, they are going to need names." She smiled. I looked down at my beautiful child. He looked so much like Dean already. He had my dark long hair but Dean's everything else. "Noah." I said fighting back tears. "Noah, that's a beautiful name." Talia said as she picked up the other baby that was slightly smaller than Noah and looked exactly like him, identical twins. "Lucas." I smiled at my children, they are now my number one priority, and I'll do anything for them. "So precious." Talia said as she gently rubbed the light brown hairs on Lucas's head. A sudden knock on the door made me jump and immediately get protective over my children. Talia watched carefully as the bedroom door opened. In popped Isaac with a nervous look on his face. "It's ok Talia it's just my brother." I smiled at him but he still looked nervous. "What's wrong." Then I saw it or should I say him…Dean. Then I began to feel nervous as well. "Is he the father?" Talia asked. I nodded, suddenly unable to speak. "Can you give us a minute?" Dean asked eyes still locked on me. Talia looked over at me for conformation. I nodded, Isaac and Talia left Dean and I alone. Nothing was said for a while, I couldn't tell what he was feeling or what he planned to do. He looked at Noah sleeping in my arms then to Nicholas in the basinet beside the bed also asleep. He really did look terrible, his eyes were red, he no longer looked as muscular as I remembered, he was now scrawnier. What the hell happened to him? I bit my lip to try and hold back the tears as he began to walk towards me. Each step he made towards me, made it harder to hold back my tears. I missed this man more and more every day, he has every right to hate me right now, for up and leaving with his children and never attempting to contact him once. I was expecting him to yell and scream but instead he hugged me tight. I couldn't help myself and broke down, I tried to tell him how sorry I was but I couldn't get the words out, but to my surprise I heard words I didn't deserve from him "I'm sorry." He said. I shook my head at him, "No, no I did this," but he interrupted, "If I would've just followed you back to the house I could've made sure you never left, I chased you away baby and I'm so fucking sorry." Just then I realized how vulnerable I made him. I hated myself for the hell I put him through. "I'm sorry too. I shouldn't've left like that. I should've stayed and talked it out when you came back but I thought I was doing the right thing by leaving to keep Mason away from you guys, I knew as long as I stayed everyone's life would be in danger." The hot tears still streamed down my face. The small cries from Lucas filled the room and Dean looked over in his basinet and smiled at his son. As if Lucas was a fragile china doll that could break with a wrong sudden movement, Dean carefully picked him up and soothed him. I guess I'm not the only one who made Dean vulnerable. I smiled at the father-son moment happening before my eyes. "Did you name them?" he asked never taking his eyes off of the small infant in his arms. I nodded, "You're holding our youngest, Lucas." Dean smiled and played with the baby's hand, "Lucas, I like it." He smiled down at the small baby boy, "And this is Noah." I said before I kissed Noah on his head. Talia opened the door and peeked in, smiling when she saw Dean holding Lucas. "I heard a cry so I brought a bottle." She handed it to Dean, and left again. "You know they don't have middle names yet." I said. He smiled at thought for a moment before looking down at our little Lucas then to Noah," Lucas Anthony and Noah James." Dean sounded a little choked up which made me let out a small giggle. "Beautiful." I smiled at him. "Are we aloud to meet the new members of the family now?" Seth asked as the pack walked into the room. I giggled and nodded at them and handed Noah to Isaac. I don't think Dean would ever be ready to give up Lucas but finally he handed the bouncing baby boy to Roman. I think everyone fell in love with our double trouble.

For the next few days Dean and I spent our time with our boys and catching up. 3 weeks after the birth of my children I sold my apartment. The boys had finally opened their eyes and they were the same, bluish grey. Gorgeous. Dean packed all of my stuff while I looked after the boys. I was ready to continue my life in California with my family but there is always that fear of Mason and his pack of mutts coming to ruin everything, the was at least 30 of them and only 11 of us. I will sacrifice myself to protect Noah and Lucas. Isaac and Seth were holding the twins and talking with the rest of the pack. Dean insisted on loading up my things by himself so I sat outside to talk to him about our sons as future werewolves. Roman says we won't have to worry about them changing until they are at least 16. We aren't sure how and when to tell them but we can't let the shift catch them off guard either. "When should we tell them about what they are?" I asked. "I'm not sure, maybe as soon as possible, it's never too early to help them learn to control themselves." He said as he lifted the boxes into the car. "Yeah but what if they freak out or tell everyone." You can never be too careful. He sat the last box into the car and shut the back end before turning to face me and moving the hair from my face, "Don't worry so much baby, when the time comes we'll figure it out, ok?" he kissed my forehead after I nodded. He wrapped his arms around me tightly and played with my hair. I enjoyed moments like these with him, he made me feel safe in every way. Dean's skin color changed back to normal and he gained his weight back after a few healthy meals.

We strapped the twins in and hopped in the car and began our journey back home. I stayed silent most of the way, I looked out the window lost in thought about how things are going to be. What if Mason is waiting for us? What if he hurts my children? No, over my dead body will Mason ever lay a finger on my sons. Warmth spread throughout my hand, I looked down to see Dean's hand on mine. "Your heart sounded like it's gonna burst, you ok?" he asked stroking his thumb over my hand, "Just thinking." I said looking up at him with a smile. I wasn't sure if I wanted to talk about any of this now. Dean must've known this because he didn't push anymore. We pulled into a gas station with 2 cars to follow. Dean, the twins and I were in Dean's Dodge Challenger STR8, Roman, Seth, Leighla, and Galina were packed into Roman's SUV, and Isaac, Ethan, and Aiden were in my Sedan. "Hey, can we talk for a sec?" Aiden asked. I nodded and followed him to the Sedan. "What's up?" I asked leaning against the car. Aiden looked nervous as he rubbed the back of his neck and looked at the ground as if he were trying to figure out the words. "While you were gone I found out umm…" he bit his lip and I noticed a sweat above his brow. "Aiden what's wrong?" I asked more seriously. "…Lidia is…pregnant." He mumbled the last word but I caught it. I wasn't sure how to react too many emotions filled me, happiness, anger, shock. But Aiden being too young and me being a motherly figure reacted by slapping him in the back of the head. "Ow! Jesus I guess I kind of was expecting that but damn." He rubbed the back of him head. "Yeah and I should do it again and again, are you insane! How many times did we have the talk, safe sex remember? You are too young." He now looked like a little boy getting in trouble. "How far along?" I asked. "6 months." He said no longer meeting my gaze. I shook my head. "I don't think I'm ready to be a father Jade." He said. I hugged him tight and spoke softer, "Honestly no you're not but you will be there for Lidia and your son or daughter do you understand me?" he nodded as I pulled from him. "I'll be there to help you both, ok?" another nod. I smiled to reassure him and I got a small smile in return. "Did you hear the news?" Isaac came up behind Aiden and slapped his hands on Aiden's shoulders. I nodded and smiled. "So what are the plans for little Aiden?" I smirked. "Actually it's a little Lydia." Aiden replied, putting his hands in his pocket and smiling nervously. "Awe it's a girl?" I cooed. He nodded and his smile got a little bigger. Two large warm arms wrapped around my waist, "The girls stole our kids." Deans raspy voice in my ear made me giggle like a little girl. I looked over a sure enough Leighla and Galina where feeding the boys and talking in their baby voices. I shook my head, "Get used to it." I laughed and leaned back into Dean. He kissed my temple and held me tighter. "Ok love birds it's time to get this show on the road!" Seth called to us as he was coming out of the store. We had a few more hours before we made it to California and I was afraid the time would be spent deep in thought about all the bad that could happen when we get home. My number one priority is Lucas and Noah, only god knows when Mason is gonna come after us but one thing I knew was he was definitely coming. We all knew it even though no one wanted to talk about it but we had to be ready for anything.
