I woke up at 3am and found myself in Dean's arms in our room. I laid with him for a while longer and watched him as he slept so peacefully. His heartbeat steady as was his breathing. This moment was one of those that you have to cherish because at any time it could all be gone. My boys were all dead asleep but with Deans grip on me, one move will remove him from his peaceful slumber. I understood why Dean held on so tight, the past few days he couldn't stand to be more than 20 feet from me. I realized all the hell I put him through, Seth told me Dean waited up several days for me to return but when I never did he began to go out and look for me. No one had ever seen him go crazy like that before. After a month he shut himself in our bedroom and refused to eat, the pack had to force feed him. I still feel horrible about all the pain and misery I caused him. I loved this man more than life if he would've starved to death because of me I would never be able to live with myself. We are gonna fight together no matter what. I managed to slip from Dean's arms and stood over my children's cribs and watched them sleep for a few seconds before walking out of the balcony. The air smelled of nature and the scenery was beautiful. I jumped off the balcony and hit the ground in wolf form. The shifts became faster, more controllable and there was no pain. Only the rise on body temperature rushed over me. I ran through the forest as fast as my feet would carry me. I'm not sure how long I ran for but by the time I stopped at a cliff to relax the sun seemed like it was coming out of the water. I heard a very familiar howl in the distance. Dean. I howled back and ran home. When I arrived I noticed Dean looking sexy as ever, nothing but jeans on that hung low on his hips, standing in front on the house holding a blanket. I walked toward him at first on four legs then the heat in my body started to cool and I started to walk on two legs. Dean wrapped me up and carried me inside bridal style. I giggled and leaned against his chest. He smelt of woods, axe and something that was pure Dean. "You two married already?" Seth asked jokingly. I nodded my head eagerly at Seth. Dean looked down at me and lifted a brow, "What?" I asked innocently. He just shook his head and kissed my temple. "Just saying you guys might as well," Dean shot Seth a death glare and Seth immediately shut up. I heard a baby's cry and kissed Dean on the cheek before I let myself out of his arms. Dean made sure the blanket never fell off of my nude body by holding it up for me. I rushed up stairs, threw on one of Dean's shirts and a pair of my shorts and picked up my crying little Lucas. I changed him, gave him a bottle and gently rocked him while walking around the bedroom. I softly sang My Immortal to him. His soft grey eyes were a mix of mine and Dean's. The color was all Dean but instead of the hard cold eyes that Dean had, they were soft grey eyes. In a way, Lucas reminded me of a little Isaac. I smiled down at my son and the song went from words to soft hums. I heard the door slowly creak open and I tensed up and was ready to protect my children if need be. A sent hit my nose before I attacked, Dean, I smiled and returned my attention back to Lucas, he was still suckling on his bottle. I gently rubbed the soft little hairs on his head with my index finger and continued to hum. I watched from the corner of my eye as Dean picked up Noah and held him like he could break. Seeing Dean be so careful and gentle with another human being warmed my heart. "You make a great mother JJ." He said softly. I smiled and sat on the edge of our bed, "You're a perfect father." He smiled a little at my response. "Surprisingly for a kid who never had a dad, but at least I still had my crack-whore mother." His expression going hard, the gentleness was drained from his face but still in his touch when it came to Noah. I held Lucas in one arm and reached the other out for Dean. He sat down next to me. I wrapped my arm around his waist and laid my head on his shoulder. No words were necessary, the only sounds we wanted to hear were the little grunts and small sighs that came from our sons. We never had a white picket fence life. Growing up in Cincinnati was never a walk in the park but it makes you stronger mentally and physically. Dean and I want our kids to be strong but not have to go through what we did. No abuse, drugs, or alcohol. Lucas's eyes fluttered closed after a few moments of silence. I rubbed his head gently for a while longer before laying him in his crib and covering him with a blanket.
I sat on the porch steps and closed my eyes. I focused on the smells until a familiar one caught my attention, chills ran up my spine. "Dean!" I called out. He rushed out and froze, he caught the scent as well. "Get inside, now!" Mason and his mutts were headed towards us. I rushed upstairs and packed somethings to send my sons as far away as possible. I heard the rest of the pack down stairs getting ready to do whatever necessary to protect each other. Dean came up stairs and grabbed the bags, "You're taking the boys and getting the hell outta here. The GPS in the car is set, I'll come get you when its over." I didn't object to anything and helped him get the bags to the car. "Awe come on JJ where ya goin, the fun hasn't even begun yet." Mason's voice made me cringe and Dean rushed to get in front of me. "No need to get hostile Deano, me and the gang are just here to collect my sons." He said as if he were an old friend. The rest of the pack rushed outside to Dean's side. "I'll go get them." One of the females said as she ran and jumped on the balcony to mine and Dean's room. My instinct kicked in and I rushed to stop her. I got there just as she was about to grab Noah and tackled her into the bedroom door shattering it before falling down the stairs. A vicious fight began between us two. Dishes shattered walls broke through, I through her out the sliding glass door. I heard cries from my sons and sprinted up the stairs to see one on Mason's mutts laving with my kids. He jumped out the window with both my sons, I chased him through the yard before Aiden saw I was struggling and came to help me. Aiden left the fight to get to me but didn't realize Mason was hot on his trail. "AIDEN LOOK OUT!" I shouted but by the time he turned around mason was already on him. My sight of him vanished as I ran into the trees after the mutt who took my sons. I chased him for an hour an at a full sprint before I jumped in front him and grabbed him by the throat I was so pissed I never stopped squeezing until his throat burst. My sons cried through the whole chase. I picked them both up out of the dead mutt's arms and began my walk back home. The sun was already going down and I wasn't sure where I was. I was so exhausted I couldn't focus my senses. My sons fell asleep but I knew it was a matter of time before they woke up hungry. I took off my sweat shirt and shirt and crafted a carrier for my sons. I shifted into my wolf form and picked them up in my mouth and began to walk again. I walked for a few more minutes before I smelt blood and not just any blood but, Aiden's. I followed the scent home blood and dead bodies, but the only scent that still had me was my brother. The girls saw me first and rushed to take my sons. I shifted back to my human form and rushed to get inside not caring that I was clearly in the nude. Dean met me half way and stopped me dead in my tracks, quickly stripped off his shirt and tried putting it on me. I attempted to shove him out of my way but he wasn't having it. Seth brought me a pair of sweats that I pulled on as fast as I could and ran inside. Laying on the ground was my little brother, there was a dark hole in his stomach and black liquid dripped from the corners of his mouth. Ethan sat beside and Isaac sat on the other, tears filled both their eyes as they tried to make Aiden as comfortable as possible. I walked behind and laid his head on my lap, and kissed his forehead. "I'm not ready to die." Aiden said weakly, this only made it harder to stay strong. I felt like I was losing not only my brother but a limb, I part of me that could not be replaced, and it crippled and suffocated me. "I wanna be there for my kid, for Lydia." A tear poured over his eye. "I'll watch over them, I promise." A small smile appeared but quickly went away as he winced in pain. His breathing slowed as did his heart."Shhh." Ethan said soothingly as the life drained from Aiden. When his heart finally stopped it seemed ok to cry now. Tears fell down my cheek but not a sound was made by me. Numbness had over taken my body and I could no longer move, or process anything. My little brother's dead body laid in my arms I could no longer feel his presence. He was just a shell now. The more it hit me that he was gone the more I tore at me, ripping me apart piece by piece. I could feel Dean's eyes on me, carefully watching, waiting, for a break down maybe. I wasn't sure what I was going to do. I looked at Ethan and Isaac and they looked back with a similar look in their eyes. We then knew one thing, revenge is a must.
