"Back To Work"

It was 5:30 in the morning, 30th of December. Judy got up and got dressed. She went out of her apartment and was on her way to work. The city of Zootopia was still sleeping peacefully. Judy went in the building to find Clawhauser sitting in his usual place eating two boxes of doughnuts as usual.

She went up to him and asked "Where's Nick?" she looked around "Where's everybody else?" she scratched her head in confusion.

"They're all at that new doughnut place that just opened" he grabbed a doughnut and shove it all in his mouth in one bite "It's across the street" crumbs were falling off his mouth

"So that explains the long line" she waved goodbye to him and walked towards her cubicle.

It was really big, it could fit a hundred bunnies inside it. She was writing a note with her carrot-shaped pen, the smell of doughnuts and coffee made her nose wiggle. She saw Nick holding a cup of coffee and a box of doughnuts.

She was eager to have one piece, she tried to grab the box but Nick backed away "Woah, woah, woah" he placed it on a nearby table "These are mine, Carrots. I waited 35 minutes for these bad boys" he got one doughnut and started eating it.

She gave him puppy eyes "Oh please, Nick. I'm really hungry" her ears drooped, making her irresistible "For me" her eyes were so wide open it looked like it was going to fall off.

Nick groaned "Fine. You win" he gave her the box "BUT" his snout was touching her ears "You have to do what I say for the day"

She grabbed one doughnut "Alright. How bad could it be?" she ate it.

"Yes" he mimicked an evil laugh, trying to scare her. Turns out, it only made things awkward.

"What?" she gave him a strange look.

"Oh nothing" she could tell, this wasn't going to be good "Let's meet at my apartment after work. I have to buy more doughnuts" he quickly ran to the doughnut shop across the street finding they don't have any doughnut left.

At the end of their shift, the had the rest of the day off, it was now 2:55pm. On their way to his apartment, Judy noticed that he was holding a long to-do list.

"Busy day, Wilde?" she smirked, she grabbed the list and as soon as she got it, her ears drooped, her mouth wide open.

Nick chuckled "Nope. You're going to have a busy day, Carrots" he placed his hands on his pockets "You give up?"

Judy continued reading the list "Clean the bedroom, wash clothes, cook dinner, foot rub..." she neatly folded the list and placed it on her pocket "ARE YOU INSANE?!"

"Read the bottom of the list" he said smiling innocently

She unfolded it and read the last item on the to-do list silently 'I'm just kidding... I love you' she folded it and locked her arms in his arms.

"I love you..." she said as she blushed deeply in shame.

He chuckled "I love you, too" Nick answered without a doubt.

They both walked towards his apartment for dinner.
