So glad you all read my stories! Enjoy!
"1,996, 1,997, 1,998, 1,999," Zoro counted as he made push up for push up, trying to reach his goal. "2,000!"
A small chuckle came from above as Robin handed down a sweat towel to him. She was sitting upon his back helping him do his push ups with the extra weight on his back. "Here, cool yourself off." She handed down a water bottle to him, pressing the cool plastic against his face.
"Thanks for helping," Zoro grunted, waiting for her to get off of his back so he could push up and sit down finally.
Robin smiled and sat next to him, leaning her back against his own while pulling her book out once more. "It's no problem. I got some reading done."
Zoro glanced over his shoulder and grunted at that, not finding the books she was reading interesting. He liked to work out his body, while she liked to work out her mind. He never understood how she could sit and read most of the time; but she never complained when he asked her to be more weight on him or when he suddenly took a nap next to her while she was reading.
"Robin! Get away from that sweaty animal! You'll catch his stink!" Nami shouted, waving her hand for Robin to come over with her.
Robin stood up slowly and gave Zoro a gentle smile. "Don't worry. She's just saying that to annoy you." She reassured him, patting his bare shoulder.
Zoro watched her walk away, his eyes traveling towards her rear which swayed back and forth. Robin glanced back and smirked at him, making his cheeks pinken and for him to quickly turn his face away. Robin knew Zoro was always watching her, and it made her feel good that he paid so much attention to her. But his pride was too great for him to act upon his feelings like his mind was telling him to.
"You really should stop playing with him." Nami told Robin with a sigh as the dark haired girl sat down in a chair next to the orange haired navigator who was tanning under the sun.
She shrugged her shoulders and gave Nami a smile. "I don't mind helping him train."
Nami pushed her sunglasses down slightly off her eyes, giving Robin a pointed look with an eyebrow raised. "You know that's not what I mean."
Robin chuckled and shrugged her shoulders again, the smile on her face mischievous and playful. "It makes things interesting."
"It may be a long time until you get him to try anything." Nami told her with a chuckle of her own. "He's a bit slow."
Robin smiled and waved her hand lazily. "That's okay. Need be, I'll make the first move."
Nami peeked at her over her glasses again and shook her head at the woman who everyone thought was extremely mature was actually very mischievous and loved to play with people. Her target on this ship was Zoro.
"I don't understand why of all people you choose him." Nami said, being the only one who knew about this side of Robin.
"It's always fun to make a prideful man become one who acts beyond character." Robin said, her smile breaking her face at the thought. "Besides, it's always nice to have a guy who takes care of his own body. Who wouldn't want a man with a body like that?"
Nami looked up at Zoro as he walked around training with his weights and still was shirtless with sweat rolling down. She smiled at Robin, "That's true, having a well built man is always nice." Nami glanced at Robin one last time before leaning her head back and soaking up the sun. "I say you make the first move and let him catch up."
Robin puckered her lips in thought and nodded her head to herself in thought, agreeing that Nami may have a point. She saw it as something fun that she could try this time. Slowly a plan began to form in her head as she looked at her book uselessly.
Robin saw the steam peeking out from under the bathroom door and heard the slight movement of water as someone moved inside. She stopped and looked out the window to the deck, seeing everyone on the deck aside from the swordsman who was normally asleep on the side.
The mischievous and playful smile came onto her face as another idea formed into her head about what she can do. Slowly she opened the door quietly and stepped inside, letting her toes slip along the floor gently.
Zoro's head was leaned back on the tub as he let his mind wander and nearly fall asleep inside the hot water. He had no clue that someone had even come into the bathroom while he was there. Robin sneaked up quickly behind him until she was standing directly behind his head and leaned over till her face was directly over his with her eyes staring into his closely.
She reached her hand out and poked his cheek, making him open his eyes and nearly choked in surprise from suddenly realizing that someone was staring at him. He jerked forward and made a shocked gasp while staring at Robin who smiled back at him innocently with a slight tilt of her head.
"Wha….? Robin!" Zoro said, looking at her with wide eyes and pressed against the side of the tub still close to her. Then Zoro seemed to realize where he was at his eyes grew even wider with a bright red blush covering across his face at an increased rate. "What are you doing in here?"
Robin smiled at him and looked him up and down carefully. He wasn't self conscious at all when she stared, but he felt uncomfortable with how analyzing her eyes looked while watching him. "You looked as if you had drowned," She excused herself, thinking up one at the last moment.
He stared at her and seemed to understand what she was talking about with him falling asleep on the edge of the tub before she woke him up. He nodded his head and waited for her to leave, but she just stood there with a smile on her face. She crouched down before him and when she opened her eyes from her smile he gulped, seeing the wild flicker in her eyes.
"Not bad," She said with a small giggle….and THAT made him self-conscious as he covered himself up under the water and looked at her with stern eyes. "Try not to drown." She told him with a flick of her hand.
Purposefully she turned quickly on her heel enough to make her skirt fly up slightly and flash him her underwear. Zoro gulped once more at the sight and sunk below the water as she walked away with her saunter once again.
Zoro knew exactly what Robin was doing to him. I mean, it wasn't something that was hidden well at all. She was trying to toy with him and before he could easily pass it off like Luffy playing nearby or something, but now it was starting to get to him. It wasn't just his mind that was following her around the deck, or perking at the sound of her name, it was his body that was craving more of her.
He didn't like to be pulled in so easily by a woman, especially since he trained himself to be so strict towards what he needed to focus on. But Robin was breaking all of that and making a space for herself in the complete middle.
"Two can play at that." Zoro whispered to himself as he got out of the tub and went to finish his day up.
He waited until night fall to change into just a pair of sweat pants and to wander out onto the deck to grab some sake from the cabinet. His smirk came upon his face as he spotted Robin grabbed a glass from a cabinet inside already. His first move to get revenge….
"Here," He said, walking up behind her and grabbing the glass above her. He made sure to press extra close to her body with his own that was bare aside from the pants.
Robin glanced up at him and gave a gentle smile, nodding to him in thanks before acting like she didn't pay him no mind at all and filled her glass with water. Zoro smirked and grabbed the sake out of the cabinet, bringing it down and sitting down at the table to pour himself a few drinks.
"Late night drink?" Robin asked, leaning against the counter with her legs out as she gave him a quirked eyebrow.
"Yeah," He said simply, holding out another cup for her. "Want some?"
Robin raised her eyebrow higher and look at him curiously, but her mischievous side was telling her to use this moment to play against him. "Sure," She said with a smile, setting down her water and walking over to the table carefully.
Drink after drink they downed the sake until the bottle was empty, waiting for the other to become drunk, until both didn't realize they were equally drunk and focused on the other. Robin swayed a bit with pink cheeks and Zoro smirked at her state though his cheeks were just as pink as hers were.
"Y'know, you train hard for someone who is already great," Robin told him, stroking his ego a bit while she scooted closer.
Zoro chuckled and laid his arm on the back of the couch, letting his hand rest behind her head as she got closer and closer. His eyes focused solely on her as she got closer and closer, and how her shirt seemed to be getting lower and lower on her chest.
"The great still train to surpass themselves." Zoro told her, his fingers grabbing some of her hair and tugging gently on the silky strands. They slipped right out of his hold and fell back to her head as she stared at him with intense eyes.
Robin was completely caught up in the moment as she listened to only her body and what it wanted; and at that moment that was for Zoro to be closer….much closer. Now she was hugging his side closely and his hand was playing with her hair, and she was all but in a floating bliss at the feeling of it all.
She looked up at him slowly, her mind urging her forward like there was a magnet pulling her in. She could see Zoro's face getting lower and lower towards her as their conversation stopped and silence hung in the air. Her fingers were all but spazzing in her lap as they waited for her lips to be on his and to feel the heat that would course through the kiss.
But it never came. "You look like you're about to fall asleep. Let's get you to bed." He said, making her stop and look up at him in shock.
Zoro was smiling inwardly as he played against her. Of course he was drunk, but he wasn't drunk enough to remember his revenge and what he figured would be the course of action to take in the moment. He had seen her scooting over towards him, and though his mind itself was telling him to kiss her, he took the moment to play the same trick against her as she had been doing against him so far.
He stood up carefully and held out a gentlemanly arm to help her up out of her seat so she wouldn't fall over. Carefully he walked her outside and towards her room, with a still stunned Robin following after him and hanging on in shock at what he was doing for her.
"Sleep good," He told her with a smirk, giving a small wave as her hand touch the doorknob.
She reached out to him to stop him, but stopped herself halfway and clenched her hand tightly to keep herself together. Maybe she had played too many tricks upon him and made him think she wasn't serious about anything…No he would have been pulled in like a fish to a worm on a hook…
Her eyes narrowed in thought as she watched him walk off cooly and calm, no sway in his steps, and no stumble at all. She understood then. He was playing her own game against her….well she wasn't going to let him win this one. She was going to make him beg for her to kiss him by the time she was done with him.
"Those two are awful close." Chopper said, looking at Robin and Zoro who were all but sickly sweet towards one another as they continued their daily routine of training.
Nami glanced up at them and sighed. This had been going on for a couple days now as they tricked and teased one another, waiting for the other to break and give in finally. But both were so stubborn and prideful that this wasn't going to end so easily like they thought.
"It's like a game of cat and mouse on a ping pong table." Nami said, watching as they played with one another and took turns almost with who would do the next one. She gave a sigh and went back to her own book in her lap. "you'd think they'd both just give in and face the facts."
Chopper looked at her confused. "What do you mean Nami?" He didn't understand what she was talking about at all. Why would a cat and mouse be playing ping pong? And what did that have to do with Zoro and Robin being so nice to one another?
Nami smiled and patted him on the head, waving off the confusion like it wasn't that important and could be answered another time. "nevermind, nevermind. Maybe some other time I'll explain it to you."
Chopper pouted and gave a small huff at being left out of the information that the three of them supposedly knew. He glanced back up to Robin and Zoro in time to see Zoro picking up Robin so she sat on his arm and used her as a weight to lift up and down and work his upper arms and side.
Robin placed a hand on his shoulder, letting her fingers slide over his muscles and making him shiver. "Training has its benefits." She told him with a playful smile.
Zoro looked at her lazily and gave her a smile, making her freeze in surprise at the sudden rare smile that he just flashed her. She stared at him as he dropped the smile and went back to pumping his arms. Her heart had skipped a beat at the sight of him smiling at her; it left her speechless and the blush crept over her face.
She was slowly being lowered down to the deck once more as Zoro had finished his quota. He grabbed her side and helped her down so she didn't have to jump, and Robin couldn't keep her heart from nearly exploding out of her chest. It was getting harder and harder for her to control that nervousness that was sending butterflies inside of her stomach.
Robin walked to the top deck once more to where Zoro normally was training, but she couldn't find him at all. She glanced around the deck, wondering where the swordsman could have gone this time. She felt incredibly dissatisfied that he wasn't up here for her to see again.
A slight snore came from her right making her walk around the corner completely to find him laying down by the side of the ship with his arms behind his head as a makeshift pillow. He was taking one of his normal naps instead of training.
She looked around the ship to make sure no one could see her as she sneaked over to him and crouched down, looking him carefully. She giggled quietly at the weird faces he made while asleep, especially with his snores. She poked his cheek and watched as his snores stopped and he wrinkled his nose in irritation.
Robin gasped suddenly as Zoro's arm reached out and grabbed her. He tugged her down to the deck with him, her head hitting his other arm that was still looped under his head. He turned to the side with a grumble so he was facing her and his face was directly in front of hers.
"Zoro…" She squeaked out, her face burning like fire with him so close to her. She pushed against his chest, but his hold on her was like a rock that was not budging at all.
He grumbled more and pulled her closer, making her hands pressed directly between them and unable to budge an inch. She could smell the musk coming off of him; it was a natural scent that came off of men, but his was more…..manlier? Musculine? She didn't know how to put it….just that it was Zoro.
Robin relax against him and breathed slowly, delving into the moment of being so close to Zoro. As she lay there, her mind began to tell her that maybe this game of cat and mouse was getting old. Instead it was trying to convince her that something serious like this would be much better than all the tricks and games played upon one another.
A slight chuckle reverberated through Zoro's chest and into her. "Comfortable?"
Robin looked up in surprise at the sudden speaking and saw Zoro staring at her with a smirk upon his face. Her eyes narrowed at the realization that this was one of his tricks on her. Nevermind, she takes back what she had just thought before, this game is going on until she wins it.
She smiled at him and pushed back slightly enough to move her hand. Ever so slowly she moved her hand down his chest and stomach and moved it along his haramaki. She could feel him shiver under her hand, making her smile even more at the knowledge it was working. "What's wrong? Where's that teasing from before?"
Zoro pouted at her from above and grunted as her hand traced along his hip, raising an eyebrow at him teasingly, giving him tit for tat. Zoro narrowed his eyes and rolled them both over, hovering over her on his elbows, and keeping her trapped between him and the deck.
"Are you trying to push me?" He asked her with a growl.
Robin smiled up at him victoriously, happy her plan was working to push him enough he begged for something more. He grunted as his head jerked down suddenly.
"What the hell are you doing?" Nami shouted from behind Zoro.
Zoro rolled off of Robin and sat up, rubbing the bumps now on his head as Nami held up her fist and her eyes glared at him like a demon. Robin let out a small laugh at the thought of Nami walking in on them and hitting Zoro, blaming him for it all.
"Would you two give it up already?" Nami asked in a groan, placing a hand on her face and shaking her head. "This little game between you two is getting old. Besides there are some people here who don't want to see that stuff."
Robin glanced over and saw Chopper shaking as he hung onto Nami's leg. Nami sighed and patted Chopper's head, reassuring him that everything was alright now that she solved it for the both of them.
"Are they done fighting?" He asked her with a shaky voice.
Nami looked over at them with a testing glanced and a raised eyebrow. Both nodded their head to her, both of them scared to go against her, especially when she was angry like she was then. Nami smiled at them thankfully and placed her hands on her hips.
"Good. I don't care how you want to solve this, but at least do it somewhere where we won't see you." She said, raising her fist on the other side of her so Chopper would see her threatening them and panic more of the situation.
Nami picked up Chopper and carried him off the deck, reassuring the young doctor again that what he saw wasn't fighting but playing. Zoro and Robin glanced at one another and let out small laughs at their cowardice towards Nami and her anger.
"I guess she's right though." Robin said, tucking her hair behind her ear and giving him a smile.
He shrugged his shoulders and glanced at her lazily. "I don't see why what we do needs to concern her at all."
Robin laughed again. "Don't let her hear you say that, you'll be dead in a couple minutes."
Zoro paled at the thought of Nami hearing him, making Robin laugh even more that such a 'tough guy' can be scared of a small woman. Robin stood up and dusted herself off from the deck, before walking over to Zoro and placing a hand on his shoulder.
She leaned over and kissed the corner of his mouth before smiling at him mischievously once more. "She just said we had to solve it privately. She never said how we had to solve it." She told him playfully, hinting at what the secret meaning was.
Zoro chuckled as she walked off, watching her with a wild playfulness in his eyes that said this was becoming more and more interesting than what he first expected. This got so much more better now that he was playing with her, and now neither of them were hiding it at all.
"Waiting for me long?" Zoro asked as Robin gave a sigh on his bed.
He walked into the room with a smirk, and laughed even more and she gave him a small glare. She curled a finger towards herself, signaling him that he needed to come to her. He smiled and walked over, placing his hands on either side of her hips and pulling his face close, but not yet kissing her. He raised an eyebrow at her and smiled more, making her grumble.
"Screw this." She said, pulling on his neck so he leaned down to her finally.
She was tired of waiting, they could continue their little cat and mouse game after she got what she wanted. And right now she wanted more of him, even if that meant she needed to push him to his limits to make him give it to her.
"I'm not complaining," He said, hovering over her again. He leaned down and kissed her lips fiercely, pulling on her lower back so she was arched into him before he pushed her down onto the bed. He was past his limit, but that didn't mean he couldn't tease her a bit while they had some fun.
