Hey my Angels! How are you? I hope everyone is making this a great year! Just to clarify a few things! Haha I am a girl! I keep getting sir or miss and I know it's confusing. Oh! And feel free just to call me Kris! You don't need to call me sir or miss or author or anything. I feel like that's too formal haha. Anywho, I also need to ask you guys to please slow down on the requests, I am at 36 requests right now and it's getting to be really overwhelming. I know you guys are excited I take requests, but the more requests I get at one time the more I feel like I need to get them out one after the other after the other. Sorry if that sounds selfish of me! But it's makes me panic a bit.
This story was requested by YukiHannah87! I hope you like it my dear! I had fun writing it and it was nice NOT having a lemon for once. Makes me feel like a need to be secretive when I write those haha XD. Thank you for requesting and I'm so glad you read my stories! It makes me feel so happy and bubbly inside to know I have readers!
The next story is going to be about RobinXKidd. I promised to make it a longer one so Fan1 I hope you like it! I will try to make it at least 12 or more pages (my normal is 8) because I understand how this story isn't written about often. Usually if I really get into it I'll go past 12 pages, so just wait! XD
Love you all and thank you so much for reading and requesting! I promise once I get some of these out I'll take requests again! For now write your request on a paper in your room or something and look out for my notes to all of you! Once I say I'm taking them again just bomb them out to me! Through Review, PM, whatever! Have a great day my angels!
~Kris
Zoro didn't want to be in any form of a relationship. He was a pirate, and a wanted swordsman at that. Bringing in a woman to a relationship was like signing a death warrant for both himself and the woman. But he couldn't stop his heart from yearning for the love that every person wanted. His eyes trailed from the sky towards the deck, spotting a certain dark haired woman as she sat in her sun chair and read a book.
His eyes trailed over her long slender arms to her petite shoulders and curvy body, to her long dark hair that looked as soft as a feather, her blue eyes sparkled with the sun's light as it danced across them like the sea, and her lips looked as soft as silk. He could feel the tug of his body that so badly wanted to touch her and hug her….To have her only to him.
Zoro shook his head furiously, trying to get the thoughts from his head. He had to stop thinking that way. Sure she was a pirate herself and wanted, so it's not like he had to worry about her being in trouble, but she was his crew mate; he couldn't date a fellow crewmate. Besides he didn't need a relationship that badly. He was happy with the way things were now. He was strong, he had friends and a crew, he was going on adventures….he didn't need a relationship. It's not like it could make him any happier than he already was….at least that's what he told himself.
"Looks like a storm is coming." Nami said, putting a hand to her forehead as she looked off into the distance. "I think we'll be fine. Just keep going straight."
The storm slowly dawned upon them as Zoro leaned against the side of the ship and kept to his dozing, relaxing in the cool breeze that came with it. The boat rocked back and forth lightly, the rain barely sprinkling on the wood as the clouds slowly drifted by. Nami was right, this was the most tame storm they have ever gone through.
"What the…!"
Zoro heard Nami shout suddenly, making him open his eyes and look over at her, wondering what had shocked the orange haired navigator so much. She was pointing up at the sky as she tried to decipher what was going on. He looked up into the sky and saw a small vortex swirling in the clouds, when suddenly it grew and jerked itself towards their ships. Before anyone could brace and grab onto something, twister's wind threw them up into the air and swirled them around as if they were on a string.
No one could see the other, and even their shouts and yells were hardly heard over the roaring wind. What had happened? A twister doesn't just come out of nowhere in the middle of the ocean like that! Zoro couldn't tell what was up, what was down, or where the twister even had him over the ocean now. He was lost as any person could be.
Zoro groaned as he moved his head, feeling the rocks fall off his cheek that were sticking to his skin. He pushed himself up and put a hand to his head, feeling the headache that most likely came when he hit the ground. His eyes adjusted to the light that was beaming down on him. He let out a loud yawn and looked around, wondering where the others went.
He got up and dusted himself off lightly, making sure that there wasn't too much damage from the fall. "Might as well look for them or find out where the hell I am." He said, knowing it was of no use if he just laid there and waited.
But….of course he was directionally challenged, and he was more lost than he was before. He swore he passed the same spot at least ten times. He was starting to get irritated and frustrated at his own inability to find where to go.
"Ah! There you are!"
Zoro looked over towards the voice and spotted the Straw Hat crew looking at him with smiles on their faces and laughter erupting out of them.
"I can't believe you got lost already. We were barely here five minutes and you suddenly disappeared!" Nami scolded, but the smile on her face said she wasn't too angry for his disappearance.
"I was wondering when you'd come back," Robin whispered as she bounced over to him, put her hands on his shoulder and kissed his cheek. "Couldn't let you run away from me now."
Zoro stood there stock straight as he took in what the hell just happened. He couldn't believe Robin so openly just kissed him! What was going on around here? He looked at the rest of the crew and saw them brush them off like it was an everyday thing to see.
"Get a room lovebirds." Usopp chuckled, waving his hand at them and then pocketing them.
Robin turned to Zoro with a smile and squeezed his arm, bouncing up and down slightly in her glee. She put her head on his shoulder. She waited for him to turn and look at her before pushing on her toes slightly and pushing her lips against his for a quick peck.
"Now come on," She said, sliding her hands down to his hand and tugging on it lightly. "We need to set sail!"
Zoro was in utter confusion, but he let Robin drag him towards the ship and didn't question as they set off towards the next island. Nothing else was different. Everyone was still the same and everything on the ship went just like normal…..yet at the same time, it was different. He felt….happier. And everyone around him seemed to feel more at ease somehow.
"You seem to be in deep thought," Robin said with a giggle, leaning into his view so he snapped out of his thoughts.
He looked at her deeply, seeing the reflecting pools of water that gazed back at him. Slowly he lifted his hand and cupped her face, holding it gently between his hands and having her stand in front of him. She looked at him confused, putting her hand over one of his and staring at him in wonder. For so long he wanted her to look at him like this, and for so long he wanted to openly touch her with no one questioning it. He felt that magnetic pull with his body again, as if she were his weight that kept his rooted to the planet.
"Zoro, whats….?" Robin began, becoming even more confused as he stood there staring at her. But she was cut off quickly as he leaned forward and kissed her lips, needing to feel the silky surface on his own.
He took in the feeling, reveling in the taste of her lips that seemed to spread through his mouth. He could breathe her in as he tilted his head to push in deeper. He needed to memorize her taste, smell, and touch. He felt like his life depended on it somehow.
Robin pulled back for air, looking at him with a spark behind her eyes he never saw her have before….and he knew he caused it. "Zoro, what was that for?"
"I've always wanted to do that." He whispered, not being able to stop himself from spouting the truth.
Her cheeks tinged pink lightly before she let out a giggle and looked at him with joyful eyes. "You've done it before. If you wanted such a passionate kiss…." She stepped forward, pushing her body against his and wrapping her arms around his waist to keep them together. "You could have just asked. I'm all yours remember?"
It was like music to his ears. "Say that again," He told her, running a thumb along her cheek lovingly.
Robin cocked an eyebrow at him. "What? I'm yours?" She giggled, seeing the glee flash behind his eyes. "I didn't think that made you that happy to hear that."
"Moreso than you think," He said, leaning down and kissing her lips gently. He spattered butterfly kisses around her face, loving everything about how she looked, and loving the thought that she belonged to him just like he dreamed….Maybe that's what this was.
He pulled back, pulling Robin into his chest as he wrapped his arms around her back and looked at the sky. Maybe he fell so hard that he's still knocked out and this is all just some dream he was making up for himself to keep him from feeling the pain…If that were so….He didn't want to wake up.
It sounded selfish of him to say that, but this felt perfect for him. He had no worries about Robin being in danger because he knew she could handle herself; he wasn't worried about being tied down from being a pirate or a swordsman; his crew around him were happy for them and didn't care one way or the other; and even Luffy seemed to agree about their relationship and didn't throw up a fuss. Even his arguments about him already being happy seemed like a lie to him now.
How could he say he was already happy? Yes he was happy in the way of contentment, but he wasn't happy in this kind of way. He felt whole, joyful, and excited all at the same time, as if he were soaring through the air without a care in the world…..he realizes that his thoughts before were completely wrong. He needed this kind of happiness in his life.
"You're acting weird today." Robin laughed, pushing from his chest lightly. She looked up at him and saw the distressed look of inner fighting. "What's going on?"
Zoro snapped out of it and looked down at her, realizing he was thinking too much into this again. Of course he'd need to get out of this dream world. He needed to get back to his crew. But until he woke up, he was going to use this dream world to his advantage and spend as much loving time with Robin as he could.
"Nothing," He said, kissing her forehead and grabbing her hand. He linked his fingers with hers and gave her a heart pounding smile. "Let's go eat, I'm sure that stupid cook has dinner ready."
Zoro reveled in the feeling of Robin's hand in his. While they ate he was able to just sit next to her and every so often put his hand on her leg. She didn't fight him and instead smiled at him and placed her hand on his.
Zoro leaned back, finishing his sake bottle and placing it on the table. He felt airy and hot, not just from the alcohol but this whole dream of his. He wished he didn't have to leave this place. He felt a soft pressure hit his shoulder and he looked over to see Robin laying back with her head on his shoulder and a smile on her face. Her cheeks were slightly red and she was dozing already, the alcohol hitting her already.
"Time for bed," He said, putting an arm around her and lifting her up.
"Don't do anything to her without consent!" Sanji scolded, but not too harshly so he didn't wake Robin up.
"Shut up you stupid cook!" Zoro shouted back, forgetting how loud he was. He wobbled along the ship, feeling the waves beneath him move and by the time he reached her room, he had collapsed on the bed next to her, feeling all of his energy zapped. So much had happened in one day that it most likely became too much for him to handle…..though he wouldn't admit it.
For now all Zoro wanted to do was sleep. Robin grumbled a bit and kicked off her shoes, rolled over and curled along the side of Zoro with her head in the nape of his neck and shoulder. She fit perfectly to his side, and her head was just small enough that it fit right into that small hole. His arm went around her waist and loosely draped on her skin. He put his other arm behind his head and sighed contently.
"Just a little longer," He yawned, wanting to stay in this moment. Usually in dreams once you fall asleep in a dream, you wake up in the real world. So Zoro fought himself to stay awake and memorize the feeling of her next to him….just a little more…..but all too soon, the darkness crept up in his mind and swallowed him.
*Chirp Chirp*
Zoro scrunched his eyes and put his arm over his face, trying to block the sun that was hitting him directly. He curled his arm, looking for Robin who was supposed to be laying next to him, but no one was there. He sat up and looked at the empty spot, realizing he probably woke up.
With a sigh he pocketed his hands and walked out of the room, ready to see the wreckage of the storm that had pummeled the ship. But as he walked out, he was greeted with a surprised Robin standing there with two cups of coffee inside the kitchen door. She beamed him a smile and held out a cup.
"I figured you'd want one to wake up and get rid of that hangover." She said, before pressing a kiss on his cheek.
Zoro stood there in confusion, wondering why he hadn't left from the dream world. Was he stuck here now? And as he thought that, he became a bit panicked. What had happened to Luffy? TO his friends? Are they alright? He was more worried about them right now than his own happy dream. He had to find a way out there…and quickly.
"Oi!"
Zoro and Robin looked at one another, wondering which of them had said that. But as neither said another word, it left both of them in wonder.
"Who the hell do you think you are touching my girl?"
A hand grabbed Zoro's shoulder and whipped him around, but before a fist could hit his face, both men froze. There in front of him stood….well him. They stared at each other in awe, completely shocked that there was another one of him standing there.
Robin looked back and forth between the two, dropping her mug of coffee to the floor and alerting the others. Soon everyone was looking at the two Zoro's in wonder, confused on how this happened, or even when it happened.
"What the…." The second Zoro asked. "Who…"
The first Zoro knew instantly that this wasn't just some ordinary dream he was stuck in now. This had to be more than a dream if there was another him standing there.
"What is going on?" He asked the second Zoro, wondering if they had answers. But the whole ship was quiet as they looked at one another, wondering if they all had doubles around. "Is this a dream?"
"A dream?!" The second Zoro exclaimed, finding it hilarious that the first thought he could be in a dream. "Yeah, right." But then he stopped, wondering the same. There couldn't possibly be two of him if this weren't some kind of dream. "But…"
The Zoro's circled around one another, noticing that every single detail about them was exactly the same, so it wasn't just a coincidence. The stopped and puffed out their chests, looking each other up and down. There were so many possibilities explaining this. From a dream, to someone using their devil fruit power like Mr. 2, or even a parallel universe. But the only thing they knew was that it was eerie seeing two Zoro's at the same time.
They narrowed their eyes at one another before slowly raising their hands up towards one another, ready to see if they even felt real. Everyone watched closely, still in utter confusion as to this dilemma. Their fingers slowly touched until their hands were flat against one another. An electrical current went through the both of them, making them jerk back, but the thing is, they couldn't pull away from one another.
"Hey! Let go!" The second Zoro shouted, trying to get his hand away.
"You let go!" The first shouted back, angry at him for trying to pin the blame on someone else.
Before the argument could get worse, a small rift formed between their hands, letting light and electricity escape through it. Everyone stared in shock. This only happened in fairytale's, but somehow, here it was in front of them. The rift grew bigger and bigger as it suddenly became like a mirror between the two Zoro's.
"I think I understand." Robin said, stepping forward towards her real Zoro. She looked at the other who had been with her for the two days through the mirror. "It's a rift between our two dimensions. Zoro….not you, him!" She said, smacking her Zoro lightly. "I think you must have been conflicting inside yourself, and when something major happened over in your world, it brought you to ours to make you see the truth!"
Zoro opened his mouth to argue….but that was the thing, he couldn't argue against what she was saying. It was true, he was fighting within himself on whether he was truly happy or not. His brain and heart fighting against one another. Then that storm happened, and he was sent here. So it was the sea's way of trying to direct him on the right path huh? He wanted to laugh at the irony of it all. The whole reason he fought with himself on a relationship was because of him and sea, yet here the sea was, telling him to move into a relationship
"Zoro, you need to go back to your world. I'm sure you know the answer now right?" Robin said, giving him a small smile, knowing exactly why he was sent here. It explained his attitude and the fighting he seemed to have going on inside of him while he was with her.
Zoro nodded, giving a smile back. Slowly he took a step forward into the mirror, which seemed to ripple like water. The next moment he was swirling in a vortex once more and his consciousness disappeared, putting him into the blackness once more.
"Zoro!"
"Oi! Moss head!"
"Zoro!"
The swordsman groaned as he sat up, feeling the rocks drop from his cheek once more. He looked around, seeing he was in the same place as before. Was it all really just a dream or….. He shook his head, not wanting to go into that spiral thoughts of doom.
"There you are!" Robin said as she spotted Zoro standing up and dusting off. She had her hand to her chest, calming herself down from worry now that she finally found him. "We were all worried sick about where you had gone!"
She looked him over, making sure there were no injuries with her brows furrowed and worry still in her eyes. He couldn't help but remember the other dimension he was in before and the feel of her lips. He wanted to stop her worrying right there, but thought it best not to just kiss her. He knew that the sea was pushing him towards what his heart wanted, but he wasn't going to just jump into it.
"Come on, let's go tell the others we're all here now." She said, grabbing his hand and tugging on him towards the ship. Major déjà vu was flooding through Zoro, but he knew the kisses were missing and it made his heart ache.
"Found him!" Robin said, waving towards the others to get their attention as they stopped looking and smiled at the Swordsman who was still groggy. It seemed everyone got a bit scattered through the storm, but he was the one that got pushed the farthest.
"Stupid Moss head! Worrying Robin-chwan like that!" Sanji said, moving around Robin with his heart eyes and his cooing nature.
Zoro couldn't keep his eyes of Robin. Sanji's insult didn't even reach him because his mind was completely filled with what happened in his dream and his heart wanted that back. Seeing her laugh so freely in front of him and act like normal made it all the worse. It was just a dream; not a reality…..but he could make his dream reality. To hell with it! He wasn't going to wait and take it slow, his heart wouldn't be able to handle it if he tried!
He reached out and put his hands on either side of Robin's face, turning her from Sanji who was turning a glare on Zoro and getting ready to deal him another insult. Zoro ignored him and kissed Robin passionately, not caring about the others who were looking at them with dropped jaws, even Sanji who had dropped his cigarette.
He breathed her in, tasted her lips once more, and felt her soft skin in his hands. Just like the dream he had….exactly the same. His heart fluttered inside his chest, joyfully taking in what he had wanted for so long.
He pulled back from her and looked into her eyes, seeing the small flash that was there in his dreams. He smirked at her, and she couldn't help but smile back as she tried to hide the blush that was coming across her cheeks.
"It's about damn time!" Nami shouted, high-fiving Usopp who knew just as much about the two of them secretly having feelings for one another. "Alright love bird, if you want to continue, do it on the ship! We gotta go!"
Zoro watched Nami drag Sanji off and the others climb aboard with smiles, not seeming to be bothered by it at all. Robin gave a small shy smile again and grabbed his hand, feeling embarrassed but happy about what happened. Zoro smiled back and linked his fingers through hers.
"Let's go on an adventure." He said with a small tug. "Promise I'll stay next to you the whole time."
Robin felt her heart fly out of her mouth. Since when has Zoro been so open about his feelings? What happened to him while the storm was going on? She didn't care, if anything, she liked this Zoro much more.
