PPP = Princess Protection Program (lol I know)
Hey everyone! Sorry this one was a bit late! I had to go to the hospital due to my stupidity! I inhaled a lot of fumes at my job (I'm a nurse) and didn't realize how much until I passed out onto the floor. I woke up in the hospital and thankfully there was no damage! But I still had to stay over night so they could keep an eye on me. But! I had a little extra time to work on the story since I got to sit and be a potato! Woohoo!
Well this story is for Denia who requested a ViviXRocinanteXDoFlamingo. I really liked the idea that was given as well! It made it easier to write and thankfully was a story I could flow easily with! Thank you my dear for requesting from me! So glad you like my stories! This story may be a bit AU/OCish only because Rosinante is a very hard character to get into since it was such a small part. Hopefully I can keep to the characters well.
The next story is going to be for Phoenix (love your name btw, probably one of my favorite names ever!) who requested an AceXLuffy Lemon! I really like this pair so I'm REALLY excited to write this one! I can't believe there are only 15 after this! X.x my has the time gone by fast! Thanks to everyone who reads my stories! Love you!
Enjoy!~
If there was one thing Vivi honestly hated, it had to be the Celestial Dragons. They gave royalty a bad name and made people feel scared of them. She couldn't even begin to count the number of people she's come across while traveling who instantly bowed in her presence or flinch when she came near. Too many she had to put back together after the damage they ensued. And it really pissed her off. What right did they have to treat people like animals? Do worse than animals! They kill anyone they dub invaluable. If she had enough power she'd take them all out. There wouldn't be a single one left. But she didn't have that power. With the government backing them up, and the people too scared to go against them, she was stuck with her private anger.
She was thankful for one thing though. Her father hated them just as much as she did. So when they propositioned her royal family to join their crusade, he heavily declined. It made them angry, but they couldn't do anything against a royal that the government was behind as well. But they were adamant. They wanted all royals to be on their side, even if they had to take it by force. That's what worried her most.
"Vivi-sama!" Igaram shouted as he spotted the blue haired princess spacing out as she stared out of the window.
It was enough to snap her out of it though. But by the look on Igaram's face she kind of wished she could stay spaced out for awhile longer. "What is it Igaram?" She asked with a plastered on smile. Maybe something happened to the kingdom in some way and she was needed to help. It was her duties as a princess after all. There is no break for her.
"We have a problem! Two Celestial Dragons are coming to the castle!" Igaram said, face pale as a piece of paper and eyes nearly bulging from his head. He looked like he was going to have a heart attack right then and there.
"What?!" Vivi didn't give him any time though because she knew she heard him perfectly. She was rushing towards the main reception room, knowing her father would be there waiting. She couldn't let him face them by himself! Her feet carried her faster and faster, the wind seemingly helping her in her speed. "Father! What is the meaning of this?!"
She smashed through the doors, her eyes ready to pointedly stare down her father for an answer, but instead they met two others. She stopped and sucked in a breath, her heart racing even faster and pushing it's way up her throat. Sitting there between her and her father were two men that she knew all too well…..DoFlamingo and Corazon. Though it seemed like both of them were different; not in their usual attire that flashed attention towards them. Instead they were in casual clothing like her kingdoms and no make up was seen on Corazon's face. Her rage boiled up inside her stomach, dampening the fear in her heart. She tightened her fists at her sides and gritted her teeth, her anger and pointed glare now on them as they sat transfixed on her.
"Vivi, now just hold on…..!" Her father quickly said while leaping up from his chair. His daughter was not the best and controlling her anger after all and he could see on her face what she was going to do next.
But before he could stop her she was storming forward towards the two men. Quickly they stood, knowing the formality when a queen or princess neared. It was pure habit due to how they had to act around the higher up Celestial Dragons. Vivi reached out towards the two of them and grabbed their shirts in either hand, clenching the fabric tight. She jerked her hands, pulling them towards her until her face was only a few inches from them.
"Listen here you pompous fools! No matter what you say or do, we WON'T join those stupid, ignorant Celestial Dragons!" The room echoed with her last words, really showing how those Celestial Dragons enraged her. Her eyes would be murdering them if looks could kill; it was as if daggers were being shot out towards them from the fire in her eyes.
"Vivaldi!" Her father shouted angrily, his foot stomping down.
Vivi knew that tone of her father's…it meant she went too far. She realized what she had just said, and knew that usually meant death. She let go of their shirts and pushed them away roughly, her eyes still fierce and angry.
"pffft!" Corazon put a hand to his mouth, cheeks puffing out as he tried to contain himself.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" DoFlamingo burst out laughing, hands on his hips as he arched backwards in a fit of laughs. DoFlamingo's laughing was too much, and Corazon couldn't stand it any longer. His own laughter burst out of him and the two filled the whole reception with echoes of the laughing. Finally the two of them calmed down and Corazon wiped at his eyes that had tears of joy built up. "Well, you're a lot more interesting than I thought." DoFlamingo said, controlling himself as well.
"I don't think I've met anyone that dared threaten a Celestial Dragon before." Corazon pitched in, a smile spreading across his face. "But I'd hate to tell you princess, we're not part of the Celstial Dragons anymore."
Vivi stood up straight and blinked her eyes, staring at the two incredulously. Did she really just hear them right? She put a finger in her ear and wiggled it around, wondering if she had heard them wrong perhaps. "You can't just walk out of the Celestial Dragons."
"Well thanks to that Straw Hat Luffy we were more kicked out than willingly given up." DoFlamingo waved off as if it didn't matter to him in the least. "It's not like we needed them though if they were beaten up by that Straw Hat as well."
Vivi sighed and put a hand to her face, running it down lazily and groaning. "Luffy is still causing trouble then huh?" But her smile couldn't stop from appearing on her lips. "Still as wild as ever."
"You know him then?" Corazon asked, raising an eyebrow in question.
Vivi looked up in shock and then over to her father who was just as confused on what to do now. They knew their relationship with the pirate was forbidden and secret, but it was a simple slip of the tongue. "I- I don't see why it matters to you Corazon." She said fumbling on what to say.
He smiled at her, dipping his head in apology for prying into their personal affairs. He took her hand and placed a kiss on the top. "Please princess Vivi, call me Rosinante. Corazon was the name I used for the Celestial Dragons."
"Ro-Rosinante….." She whispered out, a little flustered by the man in front of her who seemed so different from the silent man she heard information about the heartless Corazon.
DoFlamingo pushed Rosinante out of the way with his elbow and took her other hand, placing his own kiss on top while looking at her from over his sunglasses. His eyes gazing into hers deeply. "Unlike someone I know, I didn't have to use a fake name. But people close to me call me Doffy. Feel free to use it."
Vivi slipped her hand from him and put it to her chest, becoming more and more flustered by their change in personalities than she thought to expect. "Well, I….uh…..I wouldn't call us close." She slinked over to her father and stood next to him, using him as a shield in a way to keep herself from doing anything reckless with either of them.
"So you're saying you're Fallen Celestial Dragons now?" The king asked, coughing into his hand and changing the subject.
Rosinante gave a curt laugh and nodded. "I guess you could put it that way."
"Then why have you come to Alabasta?" Vivi asked, curious herself now. She crossed her arms in front of her, but instantly regretted it as Doffy smiled and Rosinante blushed lightly. Her action of crossing her arms had pushed her chest together and out, flashing her exposed skin even more. She quickly dropped her arms and linked them behind her.
"We're here to help you." Doffy said simply, shrugging his shoulders as if it was easy to understand and they shouldn't trouble him by asking.
"We already knew your relationship with the Straw Hat crew. And once he found out we no longer worked with those royals, he asked us for a favor." Rosinante elaborated, giving a small shake of his head towards Doffy who frowned and glared at him in irritation. "Seems rumors have been going around about the Celestials coming after your kingdom since you refuse to help them. Nobody knows for sure if it's true or not, but Luffy didn't want to take a chance."
It seemed to all make sense now, and knowing how Luffy was, she didn't doubt that this was something he'd do. If he heard about those royals coming after her kingdom, he'd come to help himself, but she knew Nami well enough she probably fought him on it. She glanced over at her father who was at a loss of words, and stared back at her in help.
"I….guess…..we'll depend on you for a bit until we're sure." Vivi said, straightening herself up again and placing herself accordingly like a princess should.
Vivi walked through the halls of the castle, ruffling through the papers she had in her hand and marking on them. "Alright, this should do it." She told Pell as he walked next to her. She handed him the papers after one last marking and ran a hand over her forehead, pushing her hair back from her face.
"Yes Vivi-sama," Pell said, knowing where to take it.
Vivi continued to walk through the halls, her heels clacking on the floor and echoing, but it wasn't just her shoes she could hear. There were two extra sets of feet behind her that were bouncing off the walls with her own. She stopped and heard the shoes behind her stop along with her. She dropped her shoulders and sighed. "Is there something I can help you with?" She turned around and looked at the two men who had been following her. "DoFlamingo? Rosinante-san?"
"Just keeping an eye on the princess." Doffy stated, putting his hands in his pockets and giving a mischievous smile to her.
"What he means is that if the Celestial Dragons attack, it will most likely be towards you since you control a lot of the kingdom and are the King's weakness." Rosinante explained further, a little too used to having to do this.
"Then walk next to me," She said sternly, but giving a smile at them nonetheless. "It'd be easier to protect me than being far away. Plus….it'll give me some company."
Doffy and Rosinante eagerly walked up next to her quickly and walked through the halls with her, going from room to room as she carried out her duties. Small conversations were shared between them, talking about Straw Hat Luffy and what happened on either side; adventures that were taken, and how they all seemed to have run in's in the bad businesses that would help them reach their goals.
"To think Luffy's changing so many people." Vivi said with a smile, still admiring the boy for getting her out of a jam and rescuing her kingdom.
"He's a stubborn brat that doesn't know when to quit." Doffy growled, a huff coming out of him in irritation, but Rosinante knew that Doffy didn't really hate Luffy now that he's realized his errors.
"But that's not necessarily a bad thing." Rosinante said, putting Vivi at ease. "Though I guess it's hard to believe us bad guys huh?" He seemed to feel guilty about this, and even his laugh was laced with regret. They knew they did bad and were trying to make things right in their own way now.
"You could have fooled me," Vivi said with a smile as she exited the building into the small courtyard they had with a fountain and flowers coloring the place. "You two seem to be doing a lot to right your wrongs. And…..you don't seem as bad as people say Rosinante." She sat on the fountain and looked at the shaggy haired man, and then directed her attention to Doffy who seemed to be pouting like a child who didn't have enough attention. "And you too…..Doffy."
The two of them smiled in glee at the names she called them, no longer using the formality. They glanced at one another and seemed to be communicating telepathically. At the same time they kneeled in front of her and took her hands, placing simultaneous kisses on the top.
"If at any time you need help, don't stop to ask us." Rosinante told her, his hand placed over his chest in sincerity.
"We'll be sure to rescue the princess with our strength." Doffy pitched in, their eyes staring into her as if showing how loyal they were to her now. "Though I don't do well with sharing," He cut in, breaking the moment and making Rosinante burst out laughing again.
"Sharing?" Vivi asked, wondering if he really had an issue with sharing someone he was just going to protect. Though it made her feel warm and bubbly inside with having two good looking men willing to protect her and show loyalty to her alone.
Doffy stood and stared down at her. He put a hand next to her on the fountain, leaning over her and putting her in his shadow. "I don't do sharing the things I want." He told her, actually clarifying his words to help her understand him better. He leaned the rest of the way as she looked up at him and took his chance to place a kiss on her lips. Vivi sat stock still in shock, staring at him with wide eyes while he pulled away. He pulled off his sunglasses and looked her directly in the eye, his eyes brighter than she expect and making her suck a breath in. "But you aren't going to let me monopolize her are you…..Rosinante?"
Vivi blinked at his words in shock still and then turned her head towards Rosinante who had sat himself next to her while she was being kissed by Doffy. Her mind was still swirling in a vortex of confusion as she looked at the other blonde for help to clarify what the heck was going on.
"No way. I'm just as stubborn as you are you spoiled rich kid." He argued back, knowing it was a teasing spiteful thing that they tended to do with one another. There was no ill will, but it still got on Doffy's nerves. Rosinante smiled wickedly at Doffy and lifted his hand to Vivi's cheek, cupping it gently. "Now, time for me to take what I want." Vivi opened her mouth to tell him to stop but was stopped as Rosinante covered her mouth with his own.
This wasn't just a quick kiss like Doffy laid on her, but instantly a deep kiss. His tongue slipped into her mouth and looped around her tongue, rubbing against it. She took in sharp gasps of air in between the moments he tilted his head either way and tried to keep control of her head. She wasn't sure what was going on, and yet she couldn't fight it, almost as if she kind of hoped this would happen. He pulled away with a small smack, saliva dripping from their parting tongues and landing on her lower lip.
"You sure you know who the bad one is out of us two?" He teased her while wiping his thumb over her lower lip, swiping away the little bit of saliva.
"Oi!" Doffy shouted, grabbing her upper arm and pulling her towards him and away from Rosinante. His glare hit Rosinante hard and showed he wasn't to happy with the unfair advantage he got. Doffy grabbed both of Vivi's cheeks and pulled her face over to him. She hardly had time to react before he was giving her the same treatment as Rosinante had given her. Their tongues swirled around one another, throwing her mind into a water filled vortex that was quickly sucking her into it's depths of no return.
"No problem." Rosinante said, a mischievous smile forming on his lips again. His finger hooked on the inside of her cloak, pulling it down and then pushing her hair away from her neck. "I'll just take here,"
His lips pushed against the soft skin of her exposed neck, tongue darting out an dpassing over it gently. A sweet taste of strawberries came off of her skin. It made him hungry over her, wanting more of that sweet taste. His teeth nipped at her skin, brushing his nose against the back of her ear. A shiver traveled along her back and her head tilted back from Doffy's kiss to give an airy gasp.
"Seems she's sensitive," Rosinante chuckled, giving her ear a quick nip and pull to make her shiver and gasp again. "I might just be winning this."
"Like hell you are." Doffy said stubbornly, heading back to her mouth.
"Wait!" Vivi shouted, putting her hand over his mouth and stopping him from sucking her back into that deep kiss. Another shiver coursed down her spine, telling her Rosinante wasn't giving up either. She turned her body slightly and put a hand against his mouth as well, stopping him from attacking her neck. "Just wait!" She breathed heavily, trying to swim out of the vortex.
"Did we over load you, princess?" Doffy teased, grabbing her wrist and licking his tongue between her fingers.
"It's okay to lose yourself, we'll make it feel real good." Rosinante told her, voice gravely while he nipped her pointer finger.
Vivi could already feel herself losing herself in that vortex once more as her eyes turned cloudy and her heart lept into her throat. It beat furiously, giving her a near heart attack at how fast it was. Her hands were slowly dropping, control creeping away along with her struggling.
"Vivi-sama!" Igaram shouted across the courtyard.
Quickly her senses snapped back to reality and she pushed both men away harshly, stopping them from coming any closer to her. Her face beamed red at the embarrassment of almost being caught doing something like that, but she quickly flattened her hair and straightened her clothes, trying to compose herself before he came over.
"What is it Igaram?" She , rubbing at her neck and mouth to wipe away any traces of what was going on.
"His majesty wants to see you, DoFlamingo-san, and Rosinante-san in the throne room." Igaram conveyed to them, passing along the message from her father. He looked between her and the two men, knowing something was up as the two men pouted and Vivi flustered around for distraction. But instead he gave a sigh and a curt shake of his head. He wasn't going to pry into the princess's personal life.
"Right, we'll head right over." She said with a nod, placing her hands on her lap and straightening her back proudly.
They waited until Igaram walked off before Vivi turned to the two men and punched either one feebly, knowing it didn't really hurt them, but seeing the small wince on their faces made her feel better. "I can't believe you two did that." She grumbled, but her cheeks still were red.
"Careful princess, we musn't let you get too far away." Rosinante said, linking his hand into hers.
"Psh, like she needs your help. You only need me." Doffy stated, puffing his chest out proudly and linking his own hand with hers.
She gave a small laugh and shook her head, but still made no move to get away from them. They made their way down the hallways, ignoring the looks from the people who worked in the palace and thought about what the King could possibly need to say.
"What's wrong dad?" Vivi asked, standing in front of her father and giving a small bow. The two men flanked her on either side, standing stock still as if they were true body guards looking after her.
"Our informant has confirmed that the supposed rumor on the Celestial Dragons coming here is false." He stated, a smile of relief flooding over him. "Seems we no longer have to worry about an attack."
He expected to hear shouts of joy or excited faces, but instead all he saw was shocked faces and plastered on smiles. Their faces showed fake excitement and real disappointment. It made him feel confused and he opened his mouth to question their odd behavior; shouldn't they be happy they no longer had to live on edge? But as he look from the two men to his daughter who had her arms linked behind her back he could tell none of them were eager to part. Just barely he caught sight of DoFlamingo and Rosinante reaching their hands out to her and grabbing her hands, trying to hide it from sight from the king. The two men gave each other a regretful smile that showed they know they'd have to leave now.
He sighed and dropped his head, giving a small shake. He looked back up with a smile, his resolve giving up. He wasn't old enough to not realize what was going on. And though he had complaints against it, he wasn't going to ruin their fun. For once Vivi was being a normal woman and he couldn't ruin that for her. "But we'd be more than happy to have you two as guests for awhile for thanks on protecting us."
He never thought he'd see his daughters eyes lighten up so brightly, but there with her hands grasping the two mens behind her, he felt like maybe this was a good thing. After all, those two were turning their lives around, and if Vivi was helping with that, then he wouldn't stop them from being together with one another.
