Space just outside the orbit of the moon was torn asunder, as Thor's ship came out of hyperspace with the Prometheus and Ranma's ship following. As the Prometheus moved towards Earth Thor hailed them. "On behalf of the Asgard race I would like to express my gratitude in you help with this matter. If there is something that I can do in return I shall do so. By the way what were you planning on doing with the replicators that accompanied us back? If you wish I might be able to neutralize them here before they become a threat."

Jack sat in the captain's chair as he listened to Thor's proposal, "As much as I would like to take you up on that offer, I can't just yet. I was ordered by the General to play nice with her for now. But when she does slip up we might have to call in that favor then to stop her. So I will have to wait on that, thanks for the ride home." As he signed off he turned to Carter manning the helm, "ok Carter, take us home." With a, yes sir, in reply the ship was pointed towards Nevada and the hanger.

Jonas noticed that Ranma's ship was still following them as they made for home, and not going back to Japan like he thought she would. "Jack, Ranma's is still following us."

Hearing this Jack looked at the sensors to see, finding out it was told Jonas to hail her and find out was going on. "Just what do you think you are doing? We brought you back now you are supposed to go on your way and leave us be."

Ranma on the other end had a grin on her face, "I would, but you see I was promised a prize down there for helping you, and I intend to collect it."

"Who would promise you a prize for helping us?" Carter wondered aloud.

"Why it was your own king under the mountain, General Hammond. After we had our talk he said that maybe the hijackers stole some of your materials that I could recover."

Jack was starting to get annoyed that Ranma just wouldn't leave. "Fine you can land with us, but you better not take anything until I get the okay from the General."

When the two ships neared the surface, a set of hanger doors opened up in the ground to allow the Prometheus entry. Ranma's spider ship set down next to the door that led in, Ranma and Second came out of one of the legs as it collapsed back in small spiders to follow them. The guards on duty had been briefed that Ranma might show up to claim he Trintium, so while nervous the let them pass unhindered. When Ranma made down to the lower level she was met by the members of SG-1 coming out of their ship.

On seeing her Jack stalked over to them with a scowl on his face. "I've talked to the General, and he says that you can have your share of the Trintium. It's been set aside over there," he indicated a corner of the hanger with his hand. At a nod from Ranma two of her commanders took the replicators following them over to it to start loading it onto the ship. "You may have gotten your way this time, but if you try to pull a stunt like that again. I will hunt you down, and silence you permanently." After that Jack went off to one of the side rooms with Carter and Teal'c following.

Jonas curios as to what Ranma did, stayed behind to talk to her. "So what in the world did you do to get Jack this angry at you?"

"Oh it was nothing to big. It's just that the General was being unreasonable, so I set off the self-destruct to get him to see things my way." Ranma replied with a smirk on her face.

Jonas just stood there stunned that she would try that. "You set off the self-destruct just to prove a point? What would have happened if the General didn't cave into your demands, you would have destroyed the mountain and all of those people? Not to mention that you wouldn't have made it out of there either, you wouldn't have been able to search for you sister if you were dead."

"You're missing the point, the General did cave so I didn't have to go through with it. Besides I'm quite confident that I would be able to survive the explosion. Once I'm done loading up the Trintium I will leave you guys alone and go back to Japan, I have some unfinished business there that I need to take care of. Now if you excuse us," as Ranma and Second were about to walk away Jonas called out to them.

"I know that this might sound stupid given our recent history, but if we call on you for help would you answer and come?"

"Depends, if you have a good enough reason and ability to compensate me for my help I might be will to come."

"I don't understand, what do you mean by compensation?"

"Haven't you heard of the term mercenary before? But it might be a moot point anyway, after I finish in Japan I plan on leaving and going to see what's out there now." Jonas watched her go over to where the replicators were working to carry out the metal from the pile back to their ship. With a shake of his head he made for the door that the rest of SG-1 went through.

As Carter and Teal'c came into the break room after Jack, they found him sitting on one of the couches with an angry expression on his face. "Sir, what did she do that got you this mad?" Carter asked as she sat on a chair.

Jack looked up with a shake of his head, "well you know that she has permission to take some Trintium. The how she got permission is what's got me mad. Apparently after Teal'c and myself left the General talked to her about getting in contact with the Asgard. After he told her that next time they came she could talk with them, she asked if we had any rare metals that we would be willing to trade to her. When asked what she would be using them for she replied with creating newer and stronger replicators."

"That's crazy she had to have known that we wouldn't give her something like that," Cater said in shock.

"It is indeed a most unusual request for her to make," Came Teal'c input from his spot by the wall.

"Ya, the General told her that they wouldn't trade her something like that. Instead of getting angry, she made a comment that one of the service hatches was broken, and that anything could get down to level twenty-eight. When she said that she had a replicator reprogram the self-destruct activation code the General didn't believe her. So to prove her point she started the count down on the bomb, just to say that she could. Well when to General tried to call men to the bomb she had another replicator cut the main power for the base. With no power and the countdown going off the General agreed to give her some of the Trintium in return for canceling the count down and restoring power. That's what got me angry the fact that she thinks she can just walk in here, and strong arm us out of our stuff."

"Sir there must be something we can do about this, we can't just let her get away with this."

"Carter calm down, there is nothing we can do this time. High command agreed with the General to give Ranma the Trintium, we even have to let her leave the hanger unharmed. However that doesn't mean we can't track her down after she leaves. She will have to stop at some point to make more replicators, we will just have to follow her and get her then."

Before carter could add to this plan Jonas came into the room. "I must say that is one way to play dirty," Jonas said with a chuckle as he sat down.

Carter looked over to him, "I take it you found out how she was given permission to take the Trintium?"

"Yeah, told me when I asked why Jack was so mad at her. If you ask me it was rather clever of her, to get the Trintium from the General."

Jack looked over to Jonas with a confused look on his face. "Clever, she threatened to blow up the mountain if she didn't get her way. That's border line crazy, and now she will go and make more of the buggers with it. We need to stop her before she can do more harm, if we let her roam free she'll just come back to try it again."

"Jack calm down, she told me that she wasn't planning on trying to conquer the world. She told me that she was going back to Japan, that dojo that we found her at. I guess that she has ties with them somehow. But look on the bright side I asked her if we need help with something if she would come. She said that she would help, if the price was right."

"We don't need her help, we've been doing just fine on our own. Besides if she did come she would just want something to make her replicator's better agian."

"I know that you think you've been doing well on your own, but we both know that it is only a matter of time until Anubis finds us. When he does, we might need the help in fighting him off."

Before the argument could devolve further there was a knock on the door, when Carter called out Second came into the room. "Sorry for the interruption, but Ranma wishes you to know the Trintium is completely loaded so we shall be taking our leave. We thank you for the Trintium, with it we shall make many new replicators. Now we shall take our leave, goodbye." When she said her bit she left the room.

"There now they're leaving, let's just let them be. They're not going to do any harm."

"Fine we will let them be, we don't have anything in place to chase them anyways. It's not like we don't know where they are headed, we can go get them later."

Ranma reached down to pick up the last of the Trintium, she looked over to where Second was watching the loading. "Hey Second while I'm taking the last of this up to the ship, why don't you go tell our hosts that we are ready to leave."

"You do know that they might react negatively to my presence, I do not wish to cause problems that might hinder us leaving."

"Yeah I know that it might rile them up, especially Jack it should be interesting to see how they react to this in the long term. Once you tell them head back up to the surface, we will leave for the dojo as soon as you return. As Second headed off to find SG-1 Ranma followed the last of her replicators up to her ship. When she reached it she went to the cargo bay at the bottom of the body to put the last hundred pounds of Trintium with the rest. Thinking of new ways to utilize the metal in new replicators, she passed the engine room. Going in she looked to see if the engines were in good shape, looking over to where the hyperspace engine should be she shook her head sadness. "I will have to figure out how to get the materials to build another engine at some time. It's a shame that Oma lost hers when she came here, it's going to make leaving here harder. Oh well it's something to work out at a later date, as soon as Second returns we can head back to the Dojo."

By the time Ranma had made it back to the bridge, Second was just returning to the ship. As she came onto the bridge she came over to Ranma. "I have delivered your message, they did not seem pleased when I stated the use for the Trintium."

"Ya I figured that they wouldn't be happy," Ranma said with a grin, "but they had no choice in the matter. The deal was made with their general, and they had no choice but to allow it. But now we should leave before they decide to disregard their orders and come after us. There will be other time to annoy them, come it's time go to Japan. I have a few things left to do there, and some people to introduce you to."

The lone guard that stood watch over the entrance to the hanger had been on edge ever since he saw the Replicator ship land. He had been told to let them pass, because they had something to pick up. He had never seen a replicator before, the stories he had heard about them though we not good. So when he had seen them crawl out of their ship and into the hanger, he was worried that he wouldn't make it through the day. However they took their stuff and left, for which he was grateful for. Still he had a job to do, picking up the phone he called down to the break room where the members of SG-1 were resting.

O'Neill's voice came over the phone, 'Yes, what is it?'

"Colonel, this is the front gate. I called to inform you that the Replicator ship has just taken off, and headed west."

'Thanks, return to your post.' With that the guard hung up and got ready to finish his stint on duty.

As the Replicator spider ship flew west over the Pacific ocean, Ranma and Second sat on the bridge. "So there are some things that you should know before we get back to the dojo. The first is Kasumi, she is my fiancé." At Seconds confused look she explained. "A fiancé, is a term for someone you are to marry. It was arranged by her father and my father, I guess you could call him that, to unite our two families. Our two fathers will cause some kind of trouble I just know it. Hopefully her's won't be much of a problem after I explain the situation to him. However, mine will cause problems almost just for the sake of causing problems. We will have to keep our guard up around him. Kasumi has two younger sisters Nabiki and Akane. Nabiki has a sharp mind and quick wit, so be careful around her until you get your bearings. Akane on the other hand has a quick temper, so try to place nice with her. It makes the day easier if she isn't angry about something, not to mention that Kasumi seems to be in a better mood when Akane isn't causing damage."

"So Kasumi is to be married to you, the fathers will cause trouble. And the sisters might cause problems, but for different reasons? It all seems terrible complicated to me, but I shall follow your lead in this. On to other things for the moment, what do you plan on doing with the Trintium?"

"Well that is something to think about. I already have some for research and development, and energy transfer. I have my commanders, and I have plans to make some that will implement a shield over a large area. I believe that I shall use the Trintium to make assault troops I guess you could call them. Ones that are stronger and more durable than the normal breed of Replicator. Though I shall have to be careful because I only have a limited supply of the metal." Waving a hand at one of the commanders it scurried off to the hold to retrieve some of the metal for experimentation.

"Mistress I must say that your invention of your types of Replicators is most fascinating. Never would it have occurred to us to make ones for specific purposes. The gold ones in particular are very ingenious, allowing some that much control over the others is something that First would not have done. Up until you came along the Replicators had a rather simple set of rules they followed, go forth and replicate more of their number. Protect what they had already concerned, and find ways to advance themselves. When the Asgard used the body of Reese to send out the recall signal, it went out through the subspace communication and lured them all to the planet Hala. Once there they found her body and learned from it, when First was made he took full control of the collective. He ordered the rest of the planet torn apart in ordered to find more Neutronium to build the rest of us. Even me who was second did not have much control over the collective, what First said was the law and he allowed no one to go against him. That was why you were so successful against him in your duel wasn't it? While he had to fight you he also had to control the Replicators that he controlled. You on the other hand created one and then handed over that fight to it so you could concentrate fully on your fight with First."

Ranma smirked as she leaned back into her chair, "Ya that helped. He had to worry about two different fights, and myself only one. I had another advantage over First as well, you see I was trained almost to the exclusion of everything else hand to hand combat. So while First may have some basic knowledge, I bet he never fought anyone before." Seeing second shake her head in confirmation Ranma continued. "It was simply that I was smarter than him in the field of hand to hand combat." With that the commander and two others came back in carrying some of the Trintium, and the rest of the trip was spent using it to come up with a stronger Replicator form.

A few hours later the ship made land fall in Japan and landed just outside of Tokyo. Ranma and Second left with a few of the Replicators, a commander that Ranma had taken to calling Sir. The Replicator with the block from Thor's ship called Watson, and the newest one made out of Trintium, silver in color and called Titan. As they headed into the city to go to the dojo, a few dozen replicators left and headed into the city by various routes. The spider ship mean while took off to go hide away in the hills. When they entered the city proper they got a few strange looks do to the Replicators on their shoulders.

"Mistress, why are all these people looking at us? Are they preparing to attack, should we be ready to defend ourselves?" Second asked with a worried glance over her shoulder.

"You don't need to call me that you know. You need to learn to relax, not everyone that you don't know will attack you. So no we don't have to worry, they are probably just looking at the odd site we pose. Just be glad that my current father isn't traveling with us, I think that a panda would gather a lot more strange looks." At her questioning look she explained, "A panda is a big black and white bear not native to here. Come on we can take the train to the ward." As they made their way into the station a few of the Replicators made their way to certain points in the city. One of the scientist cast went to a records building to start work on acquiring land outside of the city. Two of the energy transfer Replicators made their way to a local sub-station to begin drawing in power for use by others. Several more of the plain Replicators left in search of scrap metal and electronics for use. The rest of them follow Ranma and Second to the Tendo Dojo.

Kasumi stood in the kitchen making dinner for her family and their guest, Genma. She didn't have a really high opinion of her father-in-law to be after he arrived with Ranma six months ago. Both of the fathers complained almost daily now that Ranma wasn't going to return and ruin the joining of the families. The amount of drinking that they were doing was starting to get to her sister Nabiki, it was starting to cost more than they were bringing in. Akane though didn't seem to mind just so long as they stayed out of her way when she wanted to go break brick in the yard. Finishing up the preparations she went to set the table, and call the rest of the family to dinner.

As Nabiki came in talking to Akane, "look all I'm saying is that if you let me set up some fights with clubs from other schools, we could make a killing off of the bets. I bet that you wouldn't mind having a little bit extra pocket money when school lets out for break in two weeks. I know that you have been eyeing that new dress down at the store."

"I've already told you Nabiki I don't want to fight those boys, I bet that they are all perverts anyway. Why would I want to fight them, it wouldn't be a fair fight for them anyways." The two sisters continued to talk as they sat down and waited for the fathers to arrive.

They came in from the porch talking about various ways they could improve anything goes Shogi. "I tell you Saotome that I just came up with a great move that I will have to show you after dinner." Genma just grunted in reply his mind already on the great meal that Kasumi had prepared. With the food on the table, everyone started eating commenting on its great quality. "You really seem to have outdone yourself this time Kasumi, if only your mother could see how you have grown up."

"Yes the food is quite good, my son is a lucky man to be engaged to a woman like yourself. When he comes back we should hold the wedding immediately, tell that boy what's really important."

Hearing the fathers go on another rant about their errant guest Nabiki turns to Kasumi. "Tell me Kasumi when do you think your wayward groom is at, think he will ever come back? I think that he used that excuse of finding a sister as a way to get out of here, never looked back."

"Nabiki! That wasn't very nice, Ranma said that he would be back as soon as he could. Those Americans that he went with had a lead on where his sister is, he may have even found her and be back soon."

"I keep telling you that the boy has no sister, so I don't know what he was on about." Genma piped up around mouthfuls of food.

Before the conversation could go any further the bell at the front gate rang. "Oh my, I wonder who that could be?" Kasumi said as she go up to answer the door.

"Ranma, I do not understand the reason for the different architecture in this area?"

"Well, the buildings around here are of older styles and construction. When we were in the center of the city that was all new buildings and businesses, while out here it is mostly homes. This area has been around for a long time so most of the homes here are old ancestral homes, passed down through the family. In the older times it was common to wall in your house and building so that they were more easily defended. That goes double for where we are going, a dojo with kids to protect would have had a greater reason to be defended." Ranma reached up to the pull rope and gave it a yank.

"Are you not known to these people, would you not be able to just enter the house?"

"Well, I could do that, but it has been about six months since I was last here. So I thought I would be polite and ring the bell to announce my presence." Hearing a `coming! ` From the other side of the gate they were ready for the gate to open.

As Kasumi opened the gate to see who it was, she was surprised to see Ranma standing there. "Oh my, Ranma you came back! Who is this you, is this your sister?"

"Hi Kasumi sorry for being away for so long, things got a little complicated in my search. And no this isn't my sister, this is Second, I guess you could call her my niece. May we come in there are some a few things we should talk about."

"Oh my, where are my manners. Of course follow me, we were just sitting down for dinner if you would like to join us?"

"Yes I would like that," Ranma replied with a smile; as Kasumi led them into the house.

"So, who do you think is at the door?" Nabiki asked Akane after Kasumi left.

"I don't know, probably just some sort of salesman."

Kasumi walked back into the dining room with Ranma and Second in tow. "Look who come back," she said with a smile.

Upon catching sight of Ranma, Genma stood up from the table and charged over too Ranma while bellowing. "Where have you been boy, you just go off in search of a sister that doesn't exist? You should have just stayed here and married your fiancé."

"Listen here old man, I said I would be back and here I am. So just sit down and let me explain what's happened."

"Fine but it had better be good." With that Genma sat back down to continue eating.

"Ok, I guess that I should start at the beginning. After I left here with those Americans, we went to their military base in Colorado. Where I talked with their boss to try and get Reese's body back, well that meeting didn't go well. It turns out that they didn't have her body, they had given it to some of their allies for study."

"What did they need to study her for?" Nabiki asked getting into the story.

"You see the Replicators that I make, Reese could do the same thing. The problem is that she didn't quite understand how to control them, so they got away from her. They then started to run amok, destroying and killing where ever they went. The allies of the people I went with are called the Asgard, it turns out that they are little grey men that the Americans go on about. Well the Asgard are fighting the Replicators that Reese unwittingly unleashed on the galaxy. They thought that if they had the creator of the rouge Replicators, they would be able to fight them effectively."

"Wait, are you saying that your little toys could go on a killing rampage?" Akane asked with horror.

"NO! As I said, Reese didn't know what she was doing when she started. I on the other hand have taken steps to make sure that they don't get away from me." Ranma picks up Sir and sets it on the table. "Take this one for example, I have made it so that it will help control and organize the collective as a whole. As it grows bigger more will be made to help keep control. Anyway they gave Reese to the Asgard so I asked if they could put me in contact with them, turns out that they can't as the Asgard live in the next galaxy over and we can't get there. I got a bit angry at this and asked to leave if they couldn't help, they wouldn't let me in case I to become a threat to them. So, they shot me in the chest."

"Oh my they shot you! How did you survive then?" Kasumi asked, shocked that someone would do something like that.

"Oh, to have such a weak son, to have him beaten by a bunch of simpletons. How the ancestors weep at my sorrow."

"Saotome my friend how I grieve for you." As the fathers dumb cried crocodile tears Ranma turned to Kasumi.

"Yes they shot me, and I guess you could say that I was dead for about five months. But even though I look and feel like an actual human, I am not. I am a very complex android, and as such it's very hard to kill me for long with simple guns. I woke up in some sort of lab, I broke myself out with the help of some of my Replicators. I then came up with a new plan and went back to the military base."

"Why would you go back if they tried to kill you once?" Asked Kasumi.

"They were still my best bet in getting in contact with the Asgard, so I had to go back. But this time I had come up with a shield that would protect me, and I had a trump card up my sleeves. So I had a nice chat with them, and an opportunity came up to go to the Asgard world and talk with them. It was a simple choice, and away I went. The Asgard had come up with a plan to fight the Replicators, and used Reese's body as bait to lure them in. They came and found her body, they used it to become more advanced." Ranma looked a little sad at this, and Kasumi put an arm around her shoulder in a hug. "Second here is one of the beings that came from that advancement. She was the second of six to come about, when I went there to find Reese I instead found them. Had a bit of a fight with their leader First, and then came back with Second here. And that's basically what I've been up to."

"Well it seems like you've been up to a lot, Ranma could you help me do the dishes?" Asked Kasumi as she started gathering up some of the dishes and heading to the kitchen.

"Sure, I can help." Gathering up the rest Ranma followed after her.

Kasumi started filling the sink with water as Ranma came in. After a few minutes of silence Kasumi asked. "So Ranma, what did you leave out in your story?"

"What are you talking about? I told you what happened, what else is there to tell."

"I could tell in your story that you seemed to be a bit vague on a few points. Like when you broke out of the lab, and when you went back to the military base."

Ranma wilted under Kasumi's stern gaze, and caved. "Ok, there was a few bits that I glossed over. In the lab I was a bit panicky and when some guards came to stop me, I tried to just knock them out but I may not have pulled my punches enough. That and my Replicators that came for me may have killed a few people to." Seeing Kasumi's horrified look Ranma rushed on to clarify. "I tried to hurt anyone to bad, but I was sort of scared on where I was and just wanted to get out. So when the guards came to stop me I may have over reacted, when I told my Replicators to get me out."

"I understand why you acted why you did. But do you feel guilt over what you did?"

"Ya I do, I didn't want to kill I just panicked."

"Good as long as you feel that what you did was wrong you are still a good person, who makes mistakes sometimes. Now what else did you do on your adventure."

A call came in from the dining room, "Kasumi we are going out for a few hours ok?"

Kasumi turned and replied, "That's fine just be back soon. Now you were saying?"

Ranma slumped her shoulders with a sigh. "I'm not sure you will like me much after you hear what I did next. I had sent some of my Replicators ahead of me to the base, they got in and went to the power station and the self-destruction device there. When they wouldn't let me leave again I threatened them with their bomb. They didn't believe that I would set off the bomb to get my way, so I set off the count down. That got them to see that my idea as the correct course of action."

"Ranma, how could you. I understand that you were angry at them for the first time. But to threaten them with a bomb is not the way to go about it. Now I want you to give these people a call and apologize for what you did. After that you can come back here and help some more as punishment for what you did."

"Ok Kasumi, I will apologize. Watson do you have General Hammonds number I need to make a call." Ranma headed back to the hall to make a phone call.

As Ranma took the last of the dishes into the kitchen, the two fathers went back to the porch. Nabiki turns to Second who stayed sitting at the table a little unsure at what to do. "So Second was it?" At her nod Nabiki smiles, "Just what is your relation to Ranma. He seemed a little vague on a few points in his story."

"Ranma is my mistress, I guess you could call me a spoil of war. She fought First for the right of ownership of myself after I was found to be different from the rest. Now I am to please her in any way that I can, her desires are mine to fulfill."

Akane sputtered in shock, "she owns you? But that's impossible, you can't own another person. And what do you mean you are to please her, that's just wrong between two girls."

At Seconds incomprehension Nabiki speaks up. "In this country slavery has been outlawed for a long time. Now you said that Ranma is your mistress right? Well in that case I could lend you hand to improve your performance in your job. I know just the outfit for you to wear. Come with me we are going shopping, you coming Akane?" Standing up Nabiki starts to make her way to the door, looking back she sees that Second hasn't moved yet. "Come on Second nothing is going to happen, you know where Ranma is so he will be just fine." Reaching back she takes Second's hand and heads to the door again with Akane following. As she passes the kitchen door she call in, "Kasumi we are going out for a few hours ok?" With a positive reply she puts on her shoes all the while thinking 'this is going to be so much fun.'

Still grumbling Ranma made her way over to the phone after pulling up a phone number for the SGC. "Well let's see how well this goes."

Back in the SGC, the members of SG-1 were sitting in the briefing room telling the General what happened. "General, you don't understand she is going to cause problems if we let her be."

"Now Jack I don't think she is as bad as you say. She seemed quite nice, when I talked to her before she left. If we leave her alone she won't get into trouble." Jonas said trying to calm Jack down.

"Colonel I understand your concerns, but at the moment my hands are tied. As long as she can trigger the self-destruct there isn't much we can do against her. And before you complain about that we have been over the device several times and still can't find out how she is doing it."

An airman poked his head into the room, "Sir your phone is ringing."

"I thought I told the switch board that I wasn't to be disturbed."

"The thing is sir it didn't come through the switch board, it came directly to you phone. And it's the red phone to."

At this concerned faces appeared around the table. Only a few people should be able to call that phone and they all would have come through the board. "Very well, let's see who this is." Walking to the phone he picks it up, "who is this and how did you get this number?"

"Why General you didn't think I would forget about you right?"

"Ranma what do you want, how did you get this number?"

"Well when I left some Replicators behind, they did a little digging in your computers. And this phone number was among them, it even had a little bit of security around it. Why I called is that when I got back here and told my story, I got scolded on what I did to you and the research compound I broke out of. So I guess this is an apology for what I did. I'm sorry for threatening to blow you mountain up, and to show my sincerity I will give you back your bomb. I will pull most of my Replicators home."

"This is quite the sudden change of heart you had," putting a hand on the receiver he tells an airman to send a team down to the bomb to check her claim. "So this scolding made you have a change of heart?"

"Sort of I am not a bad person, and I do feel sorry for what I did. Well that's all I really have to say, so I guess good bye. Enjoy my present." With that the phone in Hammonds hand went dead.

Walking back into the briefing room with a confused look on his face and sat down. "That certainly was a strange call, our rouge Replicator seems to have had a change of heart. She called to apologize for her actions, and said she would be pulling her Replicators back from the mountain."

"See Jack, I told you that she wasn't all bad."

"And you believe her? She might pull some out but I bet most of them will stay put right where she can cause trouble."

The airman poked his head back in the door. "Sir the maintenance team has reported that two replicators have come out of the self-destruct and are making their way out of the airshafts. There are reports from around the base that other Replicators are doing the same. The only one that hasn't moved is the one in the power room."

"There you have it Jack, the Replicators are leaving just like she said."

A clinking from the air vents stopped any further conversation as a Replicator fell out of the vent. Jack jumped to his feet, "what the hell is that doing here." Before any guns could be brought to bear a shield sprang to life around it. "Dam it, since when could they do that?"

"Colonel don't try to shoot it, the bullets won't get through it. It doesn't seem to be doing anything other than sitting there." Carter said before Jack could shoot it.

"It would appear that this is the present that Ranma left us."

"Well it seems that this is going to complicate things won't it."

V 1

Well that took a long while to get done with. Hopefully the next chapter won't take as long to get out.

Didn't know how to end the chapter so I might come back to it and do better.
