Well here is another story for another week! I actually got this done fairly early this time because I had extra time with my client resting more. So yippee! So happy I can get this out! I started school again, which I have to admit, university is scary. The University of Arkansas is SOOOOOO big! I got lost I don't know how many times. I had to buy a bunch more stuff because they have things called clickers that I've never heard of which basically is an electronic test answering machine. He puts a question up on the board, you hit the clicker button that puts in your answer, and WHALA! Your answer is there! So weird and new! But I'll get used to it!

This story was requested by Sparrow Ryder, for a LuffyXBaby 5. It's a couple you don't hear of really, but the idea Sparrow gave was really intriguing and gave me ideas to spark the imagination. Hopefully it's to your liking! Thank you for reading my stories and requesting!

The next story is for XMouseX who wanted a CavendishXNami Au story! I promise I will get that out fast! Miss you Mouse! So glad I met you through all of these!

Can't believe there are only 8 stories left after this one! It seems crazy to even think about it nearly ending. My writing won't be ending, but a break from writing one piece all the time is nice. I've had my best friend Wanda help me with giving me story ideas for other fandoms or pure imaginative ideas to no fandom, and it helped.

Oh! One question I have for ya'll. I was thinking of creating stories from those Tumblr ideas of "Write a book" but I don't know if there is a category for that. Do any of you know? Any help would be great!

Enjoy~

Baby 5 wanted to resent Buffalo for leaving her, but she knew that getting Caesar clown back to DoFlamingo was more important. The young master would have had both their heads if she didn't get Caesar Clown back. But now she was at the mercy of Luffy and his StrawHat crew, and Law. She always hated Law, and right now she was so very tempted to just shoot him in the head. But Law thought ahead of time on that and ended up taking her heart, holding her to his will. She just wanted to die…..Oh! That's it! If she just ended it herself there'd be no problem!

She quickly changed her hand into a pistol, pressing it to her right temple and squeezing the trigger. A loud bang went off, but there was no pain, and when Baby felt for her arm, she realized that it was no longer up by her head.

"What are you doing?" Luffy asked, holding onto her arm with a raised eyebrow. He had easily pulled away her tensed arm like it was nothing. Not only that but he foiled her attempt at releasing herself from this prison!

"Let me go! Idiot!" She shouted at him, eyes flaring up in anger and mouth snarling threateningly at him. But he just smiled at her, staring at her as if not a single thing she said was affecting him. "Why can't you just kill me?!" She turned her angry eyes towards Law, begging him….or more like threatening him to kill her with the anger that soared around behind her irises.

"Sorry. If I'm stuck with them, you are too." Law simply told her, finding Luffy and his crew just as tiring. He didn't hate them, but they were so energetic and over the top in everything that it left him exhausted. But his own crew left him exhausted too, so he couldn't say much.

"I don't want to stay with these idiots!" Baby shouted at him, dreading the thought of having to deal with them as well.

"Come on! It won't be so bad! We'll have fun!" Luffy told her, dodging every strike she lashed out at him with. She desperately slashed at him and shot of him with her other arm, trying to get him to let her go, but it was futile.

Baby 5 dreaded being with the Straw hats. They exhausted her to death and we're always going on to do something else. She wondered if it would ever end. But what irritated her more was that she was getting used to it. She was falling into their routine and actually becoming a part of it like it was natural.

"Oi, what if Law betrays you?" Baby 5 suddenly brought up as she put a foot on Luffy's head and pushed it, rocking it back and forth.

Luffy grabbed her ankle and pulled, taking her foot off his head and glanced back at her with a nonchalant look. He flashed her a proud smile, "Because he's a friend! Besides!" He stood up quickly, putting his fists on his hips and stroke a pose. "I'm going to be the pirate king! There's no way Law can beat me!"

Baby 5 sighed, putting a hand to her face. "Pirate king this, pirate king that. This is your answer for everything isn't it?"

"Basically," Nami answered, seeing Luffy was already off in his own world, talking about adventures he wants to go on, and telling Law about past adventures that already happened. "You get used to it." Even the women on the ship didn't seem to see Baby as a threat anymore. "Why don't you change out of that outfit? You wear it every day."

Baby 5 looked down at her outfit, wondering what could be wrong with wearing the outfit she's worn since she was young. It was always a maid outfit; so she could remind herself that she was DoFlamingo's servant and not an equal. "It's fine."

Nami lifted an eyebrow, catching the slight catch in her tone of voice that said something different. "You'd be more comfortable in something else. You're not anyone's maid here after all."

"I'm….not?" Baby asked, staring at her in slight surprise.

Nami gave a gentle smile and waved her hand, signaling for Baby to follow her. It didn't take long for Nami to pick out a few clothes from Robin and hers wardrobe's. A pair of capri's with a light chain belt that sat on her hips, a spaghetti strap top, and a short cut off, short sleeved jacket. She also helped Baby put her thick hair up into a ponytail so it wasn't soaking up the sun so much and overheating her. Baby felt better in these new clothes. They hung on her nice and comfortably, and now with her hair up she felt cooler.

"Those look good on you!" Nami commented, circling around her and giving a nod of satisfaction towards the put together outfit. "You can keep it if you want."

"R-really?" Baby didn't know how to react with someone actually giving her a present. It was so different for her she wasn't sure what else to say other than a small 'thanks' she had to whisper out. But Nami heard her nonetheless and gave a satisfied smile.

"You know, you can relax around here. We won't do anything to you." Nami told her, putting up the clothes they had pulled out to try on and look at.

Baby seemed to realize she was a prisoner on their ship again, tensing her muscles and crossing her arms in a huff. "Sure you won't. I trust your crew as much as I trust that Law." They all knew her hatred towards Law, and how she loathed him. "You and your captain won't win this little fight your bringing on yourselves. The Young Master will win and you all will be killed. Just give up now."

Nami flashed her a sad sort of smile, not for herself, but in pity towards Baby. It threw the dark haired woman off, causing her to question Nami's sanity. She was pitying Baby? What for?! But she didn't need to ask because Nami seemed to read her mind and answered. "When Luffy is serious, no one can beat him."

This really threw her off. How can she have so much confidence and trust within her captain? Sure Baby believed DoFlamingo was strong, but she wouldn't put her life in his hands. She knew he would toss her aside the moment he could and sacrifice her if it meant gaining a step up. Baby saw that as normal; being used was a common thing as an underling….maybe Nami was just better with coming to terms with death.

"You're an idiot." Baby was angry that Nami was so ready to die by the hands of her captain. The conclusion she was coming to, not sitting well with her gut. Before Nami could snip back at her for calling names, Baby was already on her way out of the room.

"Oi! 5!" Luffy shouted through the air, and suddenly he was landing in front of Baby, shocking her out of her anger momentarily. But then as her eyes landed on his face and the goofy smile he seemed to have all the time, that anger bubbled up once more.

"It's Baby 5." She grounded out, fists clenching. She wasn't angry so much because he was like the young master, she didn't like the thought of him doing something like that to Nami. She'd already grown attach the odd friendship they were having.

"Baby, gotcha. What's up? You look angry." Luffy said, tilting his head, while leaning forward and getting right up in her face. He looked into her eyes as if it would tell him what she was so irritated about, but he wasn't so keen to have that talent.

"It's…!" She gave a sigh, knowing none of them were going to use her full name. Beside Baby sounded better than having a number placed in her name. She was a person after all and not an object. She shook her head. No, she was an object, one that the Young Master would need to use. The straw hats were getting to her already, changing the way she thought. "If you go fight DoFlamingo you and your servants will die!" She was hoping he'd see how dangerous it was, but still he smiled.

"Servants?" He chuckled, looking around for the funny dressed butler and maids he associated as servants. "We don't have any."

"All of them!" Baby pointed back to the main deck, where most of them were lounging around doing whatever they could to bide time.

Luffy dropped a smile and put wonder in his eyes full of questions. He quirked an eyebrow at her and crossed his arms. He was slightly irritated now. "They're not servants. Their nakama!" Baby took a step back, surprised by how stern and offended he was against her calling them servants. "And they won't die. They're strong."

Baby felt her frustration growing. He couldn't possibly think they were strong enough to go against all of the Young Master's family! "But what if they aren't?"

Luffy look at her as if she were the stupid one in the conversation; as if the answer was plain as day. "I'll protect them then! But they are strong enough! I believe in them! They have my back and I have theirs!"

Baby froze to her spot, shocked by his answer. From someone who was normally so laid back, go head first into things, and innocent in his way of thinking; this was so mature and prideful it sent her through a loop. A small respect began to form for him inside of her. Seems she misunderstood. Her way of viewing captains were warped due to being with the Young Master for so long that now she was stupid enough to believe Luffy was like that. But even as she accused him of only using his nakama, he still was so proud of his nakama and proved her wrong.

"DoFlamingo would do the same for you too, right?" Luffy asked, crossing his arms over his chest.

Baby felt a lump form in her throat, clenching off her airway and leaving her to choke on jealousy. Her eyes darkened and a shadow crossed over the front of her face. She couldn't say anything bad about the Young Master, it went against every fiber that built her. She knew that if she said something, he'd find out somehow. But the look that was crossing over her face was all it took to answer Luffy. He didn't have to be a genius to hear about how DoFlamingo treated people; and by the horrified look on Baby 5's face, he treated his own nakama the same way. Luffy reached out his hand, patting Baby's head, the only way he knew to really comfort people when they looked distressed.

"Then you can be one of us! We'll protect you, don't worry!" Luffy was so sure of his words, that Baby didn't have a shred of doubt within her that he wouldn't uphold what he was saying. His big bright smile was so innocent it nearly made her forget all the bad she's done over the years, and it made her heart thump harshly in her chest, spreading like wings inside of her. He was like a worm that was burrowing his way into her heart and nestling himself there for a permanent place.

"But I'm your enemy." Baby muttered, feeling her cheeks pinken in embarrassment. She didn't know how to react to any of this and it was leaving her flustered. "You shouldn't protect your enemies; it'll get you killed."

Luffy chuckled, as if she just told a joke. "Who says you can't befriend an enemy? Robin used to be our enemy too."

Baby looked over at the blue eyed woman who so casually sat back in her chair reading a book, not an ounce of fear or regret in her. Baby wondered if she could become like Robin if she joined the Straw Hat crew. Of course everyone had heard of Nico Robin and her escapades on the seas, and it came as a shock to everyone when she joined the Straw Hats. But to think she was actually working against the Straw Hats at one point really confused her. From fighting against them, to becoming a part of them like it was always that way…..that is what a family was really like huh? The Young Master didn't allow mistakes or betrayal; he'd have them killed instantly. The more Baby thought on this matter, the more her heart yearned to become part of this family. She wanted to belong to this family.

Baby was quiet for quite awhile after that. What could she say now? She was so against them for the longest time now, but now her heart wanted to help them. Their intentions and way of life was something of dream to Baby, but one she wanted to be a part of. Baby glanced up once the sun started setting, spotting Luffy in the same place he liked to camp himself, right on top of the figure head. She walked over to the edge of the deck, right behind the figure head. With a nimble jump she made her way on top, lightly standing behind Luffy now. She breathed in deeply, filling her chest with courage air she was hoping would push her forward. And it did. Gently she walked the few steps over to Luffy, and stood next to him. He glanced up at her from the corner of his eye and scooted over slightly, giving her enough space to plant herself down next to him.

For a bit they just sat there, not speaking with Baby pulling her legs up to her chest, and wrapping her arms around them. But it seemed the silence was just too much for Luffy. "Something wrong?"

Baby turned her head, leaning it on her arms as she stared at him. Was there something wrong? She wasn't sure. She wasn't quite feeling bad, but she was conflicted. "Why are you so nice to me?"

Luffy quirked an eyebrow, staring down at her eyes that had become softer, more innocent, in her time with them. She was always asking weird questions to him, and to him it was answers that were so simple. "Because you're a friend. Why not be nice to a friend?"

"But I'm your enemy. We'll be fighting against one another soon. How can you call me a friend? If it means saving my life I'd probably kill you." Baby told him, not finding his answer sufficient.

"Then I'll stop you." Luffy chuckled, not seeing it as a serious issue. "A friend is always a friend. And sometimes friends fight. When that comes, I'll stop you and you can come back. That's how it works." Luffy furrowed his brows when Baby just sat there and didn't say anything. He wanted her to say something weird again, curse at him, or even hit him. But she did none of these and it made him a bit worried. "You're important to me. So even if you don't believe it yet, I'll make you see."

Baby felt her heart skip a beat and spread it's wings again, fluttering and trying to leap out of her chest to climb into his hands. This man had made his way in completely, there was no releasing him now. She reached out her hands, letting her legs go and lifting her head to give them room. She grabbed his vest tightly in her fists, making him think she was finally back to normal and about to hit him, but instead she pulled him slightly forward, and leaned the rest of the way in. Her lips awkwardly pressed to his, oblivious on what to do. It was sloppy and a little rough, but neither moved away, and slowly Baby lessened up on the kiss. Her lips pulled away slowly, slightly sticking together from how forceful it was, and her hands gripping his vest let out and dropped down. She stared into his eyes, finding them wide as saucers full of confusion and shock.

She cleared her throat and quickly averted her eyes. Embarrassment coursed through her like hot magma, burning her insides and causing her muscles to jitter. She stood up quickly and jumped from the figure head to the edge of the deck. Once she was on flat floor again she walked across the deck quickly, trying to escape somewhere so Luffy couldn't ask her about that. Baby felt like her face was as hot as the sun, and probably as red as the sunset. She can't believe she did that! She was just listening to her heart, wanting to know what it thought about all this, and suddenly she was kissing him! She wanted to smack herself senseless for doing something like that.

It wasn't hard to miss that something had happened when both Baby and Luffy were deathly quiet. It was very odd for Baby to not be vocal in her thoughts, but she'd been pretty quiet all day. What really told them was Luffy, who hadn't said a word through all of dinner and instead kept his eyes on Baby like he was willing her to say or do something. Finally Nami stood up, placing the paper in front of Luffy's face, blocking his view from Baby who seemed to shrink more in her seat by the second, and only grow redder with it. But Luffy was relentless and just tried to look around the paper.

"I'm done." Baby interrupted, taking the cue from Nami to escape while she could. She stood up and picked up her plate, taking it to the kitchen and setting it in the sink. She shuffled out onto the deck and was making her way over to her room that she shared with Nami and Robin.

When Luffy saw Baby quickly excusing herself, for once he was going to leave the left over food on the table. He quickly stood up and raced out of the kitchen, ignoring the shouts of complaint from Sanji who was part near chasing after Luffy himself to beat him for whatever he did to Baby. But once again Nami stopped whatever was going on.

"Let him go." Nami interrupted, stopping Sanji as he opened the door to chase after their captain. "Whatever is going on between the two of them needs to be solved by the two of them."

Sanji opened his mouth to argue, still seeing Baby as a woman who needed to be protected from Luffy's stupid antics, but the look Nami cut him shut him up quickly. Sanji gave a small sigh and walked back to the table, starting the clean up and mumbling something about beating Luffy up later if he does anything. Nami looked back towards the door briefly, a little worried herself. But what she said was true; they needed to solve the problem themselves.

"Baby!" Luffy called out, spotting the newest friend who was already about to walk into her room and escape.

Baby looked back momentarily, and the moment her eyes connected with Luffy's her face erupted into a red burst of smoke. She stepped into the room quickly, turning to slam the door shut, but Luffy wasn't going to let that happen. He threw his arm out towards her, wedging his hand around the edge of the door so she couldn't shut it….or at least that's what he thought. The momentum she had on closing the door was already started and slammed his hand into the frame. Since he was made of rubber, the points where the door pushed against the frame flattened.

"Ow!" Luffy shouted, body flying towards his flattened hand that was now stuck. "Oi! Open the door! My hands stuck!"

"No way!" Baby shouted back, thinking it was just a trick. But then she looked down and saw him wiggling his fingers that were on her side, still normal. Guilt clenched her chest tightly, and she reached for the doorknob, quickly opening the door. "Sorry! But stay out!" She shouted, barely cracking the door, just so he could get his hand out.

But Luffy was stubborn and instead of retracting his hand he clenched the door and pushed with all his strength, knocking the door from Baby's hold and making her stumble backwards. Luffy stepped into the room, shutting the door behind him and staring Baby down. She looked back and forth, hoping there was another escape route, but with it being a simple room, the only door was the one now behind Luffy.

"Now, about before…" Luffy said, quickly coming to the topic that was the whole reason they were in the situation they were in.

Baby clamped her hands down over her ears and squatted down, curling herself into her legs so that she could block Luffy out in both hearing and sight. "I don't want to hear it! I just got too happy! Nothing more!"

Suddenly large hands were cupping her face, bringing her face up to look at him directly. His eyes were smoldering and intense as they looked at Baby. He frowned at her before leaning forward and placing a kiss onto her lips. It was sloppy and rough like earlier, but this was intentional. His lips wrapped onto hers, pressing into her lower lip, before moving onto her upper lip. Luffy moved his hands to her wrists, pulling them from her ears so she was no longer blocking him out. Carefully Luffy tottered backwards, pulling his body backwards so he landed back onto his rear, and

in the process bringing Baby with him, never breaking the kiss they were both into.

Slowly Luffy pulled away, looking down at Baby who was kneeling in front of him with dazed eyes and red cheeks. "I told you you're important to me." He said this sternly and low, trying to get it in her head he was telling the truth. "Now I'm not giving you a choice not to come back to us."

Baby turned her body and sat down on the floor, putting a hand to her face because she was starting to get more of her previous concerns. But Luffy could feel her worry, he wrapped his arms around her body, pulling her into his chest so her hear pressed to his heart beat. He wasn't going to let her worry about this.

"Even if we fight. I'll win and bring you back." Luffy promised her, running a hand over the side of her head and petting the hair down. "You're my nakama now."

"I've never been called nakama before." Baby muttered, clenching his vest. "But….it sounds nice…."

Luffy chuckled, then put a hand to her cheek again, making her look up at him. This time there was no hesitation. No sloppiness, and no over roughness in the kiss. It was sweet, yet intense. His tongue swiped across her lower lip and Baby eagerly opened her mouth, feeling it was the natural thing to do. Both of them got lost in the moment and heat that was running through them. Luffy slid his tongue across the ridges in her mouth, over the slight bump at the roof of her mouth, and then across her tongue, wanting to taste that slight taste of smoke from her occasional cigarette, but it was also fruity, almost like strawberries. He was pulling her into him so close there was no air between them, she could feel his heat, and hear his breaths every time he change the position of his mouth over hers. Just as Baby was about to completely sink in he pulled away from her, their noses touching at the tips.

"You're not allowed to do this with anyone else." He told her sternly, actually causing her to laugh and in turn make him smile wider.

"Shut up and continue." She told him, her foul mouth back. But I'm sure neither of them minded.
