Hey look at that I'm already writing the next chapter! yay me!

So anyways I've like pretty much loved Hunter x Hunter forever. It's definitely one of my favorites. I've love the manga and there's a new chapter out! It's so awesome! I wonder if Kurapika, Leorio, Killua and Gon are going to be traveling together again.. but I'm not suuure... since Yknow Killua had to leave Gon.. :/ so sad. oh well I'm excited!

We got there and this was this HUUUUGE building that looked so magnificent! Here people from all over the world try to become hunters and pass through these gates.

"They come from the four corners of the world." Leorio started

"Courageous men, dreaming of becoming hunters, find themselves here." Finished Kurapika. Every one of us looked in awe.

"No, not there.. Here." The rat-fox said pointy to a restaurant.

We ended up looking at a small restaurant..

"I see a boring restaurant.." I said.

"Hey navigator, if this is a joke, it's in bad taste! You want us to believe that thousands of candidates are waiting inside?" Leorio shouted. He was loud but I had to admit I agreed with him this time.

"Precisely. No one could imagine that the place were thousands of hunter candidates are assembled is here." He does have a point I thought to myself this is interesting.

We went inside. "Hello!" The cooked greeted us. "What would you like?"

"A steak!" said rat-fox.

"How would you like that cooked?" The cook asked tilting his head up at us.

"Slowly rare."

"Ok"

"At the room in the backs, sirs and misses." said a waitress.. I started to laugh!

Once we were in the room I pointed at Kurapika and laughed! "She thought you were a girl! Ahhh that's priceless." I wiped away a tear of laughter. Then that's when I noticed food in the room!

"1 out of 10,000." Heh? We all looked in wonder. The food was temporary forgotten. "It's the proportion of candidates who get this far. You done quite well for new candidates. Have courage my little friends. I would be pleased to be your navigator next year as well." with that he left. We all sat at the table and we felt the room start to move down, like an elevator. That's a bit testy..

"He's making fun of us, as if he were sure we won't pass this year!" Leorio grumbled while he started to eat steak.

I munched on some food and took out some plastic bags to wrap the leftovers with. They weren't paying attention to me anyways and I could save this for later.

""One every three years." Kurapika said. I nodded while still eating. I already had known that.

""Huh?" Leorio said all confused like. That's the number of candidates who pass this test on their first try. Do you understand now?" Kurapika asked Leorio.

"But why are so many people ready to do anything to become hunters?" Gon asked. I looked at him. He was so wonderfully simple. I like him. I thought to myself. So lost in thought I didn't really hear everything, so when I tuned in Kurapika and Leorio were at each other's throat.

"To be a hunter is all about money!"

"Being a hunter is a noble thing!"

"Suck up!"

"Greedy!"

"Being a hunter means to choose your own path! To be able search for treasures and have many adventures!" I yelled putting in my two cents.

"When you offically become a hunter, you recieve a license!. With that you can freely travel in all countries! In addition you will have free access to public services! Out of the hundred richest people in the world, 60 are hunters! This is a symbol of glory and wealth! You have only to sell it, and you would have sufficent money to live in luxury for seven lives!" Leorio said as he finally took a breath.

"The true role of a hunter is to protect people and maintain the balance of nature! To hunt animals or search for treasures are just the roles of amateurs!" Kurapika said sending me a look. Jerk. "Professional hunters have the principal occupation to preserve precious objects of the cultural history, or saving rare species of animals and plants that thye were able to discover! That not all, they must arrest wanted criminals and hunters in irregular situations doing wrong! A firey mentality, an iron constitution, and knowledge set in stone: all this is indispensable to be a good hunter! It is hard work, but very satisfying!" finished Kurapika.

Gon looked horribly confused.

"No! When you're a hunter you're suppose to hunt things! i.e. treasure! criminals! even animals!" I saw Gon's face get sad. "Not like kill them but capture them and put them somewhere safer!" I saw Gon looking happier at that. "It's about co-existing with life here. To do something wonderful and perhaps even dangerous! Hunters risk their lives for what they deem important! It doesn't have to be about honor or money!" I said as I gave Leorio and Kurapika dirty looks.

"So Gon?!"

"What kind of hunter do you wish to become?" Kurapika and Leorio asked

"Well.. In fact.. Uh..." Gon started to reply when bing went the elevator, signaling us our arrival. Well time to put the food in my bag while no one's looking.

"Seems we've arrived." Kurapika stated.

"We will finish our discussion later." Leorio said clearly not ready to give up the battle. Idiots. We all stood in front of the door. The door open and I saw a group of rough looking people here. Some stared and gave us the evil eye. It's so dark..

"I wonder how many people there are here!" Gon wondered out loud. He kept looking left and right trying to see the people.

"With you there are 406." a voice said coming from behind us. "Hi." He waved at us. "I'm Tompa." He jumped off the ledge he had been sitting at. "Nice to meet you." He was overly friendly. Too friendly I thought to myself. This weird thing came by and gave us our numbers.. I wondered if he was squishy.

"You're new aren't you?" Tompa asked. "How can you tell?" Gon replied. "I've taken this test for awhile. This is my 35th time. heheh! I'm what you'd call a veteran. If you have any questions, just ask!" said Tompa. Why is he so happy about that? Such a weirdo. Mental note, stay away from Tompa the Weirdo.. or big nose... Funky eyebrows too. This guy is just all sorts of weird.

"If I were him I wouldn't be so proud, if he still hasn't succeeded.." Leorio whispered to Kurapika and me. "Yeah." "Ditto"

"So you know everyone here don't you?" Gon said not even concerned.

"Yup! Well I'm going to make introductions! #103 Barbon. He's a snake charmer. He's more stubborn than anyone else, so you don't want him as an enemy. #76 Cherry, the soldier. There are no secrets in martial arts, to him. #225 The wrestler neck wringer. He is not only strong but is also very malicious. #197 #198 #199 The Amori brothers. A talented trio that always give good results. #384 Gereta, the hunter. He's a mast of killing with a blowgun and nightstick. Those are the ones who usually show up. They're really strong but none of them have ever made it to the end." Tompa concluded.

"AAAHHHHHHHH!" We all heard someone scream! We looked towards the crowd, there was a guy who had no arms. There's a trace of nen. Using gyo I saw his nen come back to him. Like bubblegum. Transmuter for sure.

"Oh how strange. He doesn't have any arms. "Just magic, ladies and gentlemen. You have to be more careful and don't forget to apologize when you hit someone." With that the weird fellow walked away.

"There are always guys you shouldn't trust. #44 Hisoka, the magician. Last year, everyone said he would have won, but he almost killed a judge because he didn't like him. He was disqualified." Tompa said all serious like now. Hmmm Hisoka.. I've heard that name before but where.. I tried and tried to remember but I couldn't put my finger on it. Dammit who would have said anything about him before? Oh poo. I'll remember later. "Try to avoid him as much as possible," Tompa told us. Giving us warning looks. "He's not the only one you should mistrust. But don't worry I'll be here to explain anything neccessary!. Ah! By the way, we should drink to celebrate our meeting? Let's drink to wish ourselves good luck in the tests!" He said as he began drinking his can.

"Thanks!" Gon said as he took a taste of the drink. Then the drink just came out of his mouth! "Tompa, your juice has a very bad taste! I think the date's expired!"

"How? You think that? I'm astonished." Tompa replied starting to sweat alot.

I took a sip. Oh it's a laxative. Seriously? He was going to get us out of the competiton by giving us laxative? Sure this wasn't a minor one but still! I know my stomach can handle this but seriously? Kurapika and Leorio spilled their drink out. Good thing too, they probably can't handle the laxative. I threw my can away. Tompa apologized to us. Then walked away. I was glad. I didn't like the sketchy guy..

There was another loud yell. It was coming from some kind of head that another guy was holding. He turned it off. "Here I am. Reception time is over" said the butler with a weird mustache! Where was his mouth?! How did speak!? Oh my god! This was too weird! I looked at Kurapika he didn't seem too bothered. I looked at Gon, he just looked excited!? Turning to look at Leorio, I knew he would have noticed just like me. He wasn't even paying attention!

"Kurapika... He doesn't have a mouth!" I practically whispered screamed in his ear.

"Shhh! He's talking." He said as he put a finger in front of his mouth. Our childhood way of telling me to shut up.

"Now the exam can begin." The mouthless mustache guy in a butler suit said. His name must be Sebastian.. Because he's a butler... and he has no mouth... he has got to be a demon! so that solves the puzzle his name is Sebastian..

You have to realize I'm pretty much basing this on the manga so words will prolly be different than what you're used to... :P
