Sooo... It's storming outside and I'm just wanting to do something so I now I am typing again...
I own no one.
I am my own person.
Sometimes I get hungry.
I do however own my fictional character...s... lol
It was about nighttime and we were still in the airship. I was bored out of my mind. I needed something to do. I couldn't help but fidget. Kurapika looked at me weirdly.
"I got to go the bathroom." I said out of nowhere. Kurapika asked if he wanted me to come and I told him no. Soon I went and found the bathroom. I of coursed did my lady business. Once I got to the mirrors, I noticed I looked like a wreck! I dug into my bag and started to brush my hair. As I was brushing my hair, the blonde that I saw earlier at the pond came in. Her badge number was #294. She had long blonde hair all the down her back too. Her eyes were blue and she was pale. Almost the opposite of me! I was proud of the fact I had a tan going on. She got out of the stall and I decided to be nice and say hi to her.
"Hey. I'm Mitsuki." I told her.
"Hmph." She turned her head away from me.
"You're suppose to say hey back you know." I said with a smile plastered on my face. I could feel myself getting ticked off.
"I don't feel like it." She said with an air of arrogance.
"That's not nice! Didn't people ever teach you manners?" I shouted at her.
"Well I was taught not to talk to random strangers during a life or death test."
"...Where were you taught at?" I wondered out loud.
"It was sarcasm.."
"Why I ought to" I started say, pulling my sleeves up.
"You cannot think to defeat me." She answered. getting into a fighting stance
"That's it!" I jumped and we tumbled on the ground wrestling. Before 10 seconds was over I had already pinned her. "You're pretty weak to be talking tough." I taunted.
"You're just a wild child with no manners" she spatted at me.
"I have no manners? This could have all been avoided had you said hi back to me!" I shouted
"Fine fine fine! I'm Hikaru!" She yelled at me.
"Hikaru?"
"Yes now get off of me!"
"Whoops sorry about that." I said getting off of her, the fight completely out of my mind.
"That's one way on how not to make friends" She replied dryly.
"Well excuse me but someone doesn't know how to talk to 'random strangers'" I teased.
"Whatever." She stubbornly replied blushing.
"Want to meet my friends?" I asked her politely.
"No."
"Why!?"
"Not to offend, okay I mean this offending as possible, your group is so loud and none of you have the decency to be quiet. You guys just scream attention. I would like to pass this test with my life thank you."
"Oh.. Okay. Bye!" I told her heading out the door, I understood what she meant. Now I was on my to find Kurapika and the gang. I searched high and low but I couldn't find those buggers. I was lost! How did this happen? Why didn't I accept Kurapika's offer when I had the chance? Turning around the hall I bumped into someone! I fell and so did that person, looking up I saw it was Hikaru.
"HIKARU! I CAN'T FIND THEM!" I cried to her. I was about to freak out.
"You seriously got lost on the airship."
"They lost me! I didn't lose them!" She just raised her eyebrow at me.
"I don't want to be seen with you."
"You can't leave me here!"
"Bye."
"No! I'm coming with you!" I followed her for awhile. She kept telling me to leave her and I wouldn't go. When she realized she couldn't get rid of me she began to tolerate me. As we were finally getting along, the intercom told us to all head to the captain quarters.
Hikaru started to walk there and I followed her. I didn't want to be left behind. As we got to the room I saw Kurapika. I left Hikaru's side faster than a speeding bullet. I soon latched onto Kurapika's arm and I didn't want to let go.
"Mitsuki! Where are you been? We've been looking for you everywhere since you disappeared!" Kurapika said as he pulled me into a death hug.
"I got lost." I saw all of them sweat drop at my words.
"I knew I should have gone with you. What if you had been killed!" He started scolding me.
"They wouldn't kill me. I'm adorable! But they couldn't if they tried. I made a new friend too!" I said really pleased with myself. "Anyways if I don't get out of this hug soon I'll be dead cause I'mrunningoutofairreallyfast!" I blurred my words but it was true. It's not called a death hug without a reason.
"Sorry. You shouldn't worry people like that."
"Yeah. He was really pacing around the room wondering where his Mitsuki could be." Killua taunted.
"He swore that if something had happen to you he was going to kill the person who did it." Leorio added.
"He really worried about you." Gon added not getting what the other two were hinting at.
We finally quieted down and the old man began to speak. "It might be time for the 42 remaining contestants to know who I am. My name it Netero, and I'm responsible for the trials, and as a member of the organization community, I wasn't supposed to show myself until the final phase of the trials, but I came sooner than expected." You could almost feel the tension rising in the air. Only a few people were not worried at all. "Your anxiety is comprehensible but I believe it's a good thing. So if you'll allow me among you for the time being." He said stopping. Old man Netero seemed to be laughing at us. The green man started to speak as well.
"We should arrive tomorrow around 8 at the next trial ground. We are waiting for them to contact us. You are free to do whatever you want until we arrive." With that the meeting was adjourned.
"Hey, Gon! How about going on a tour of the vessel?!" Killua asked with so much energy.
"Yeah!" Gon replied just as enthusiastic.
Leorio just sweatdropped. "They're in good shape, those two... Me, I'm going to take a good, long nap. I can't go on."
"Me too. Today has been rather long." Kurapika replied looking tired.
"I guess a nap couldn't hurt. I'm more hungry than anything." I inputted.
"You're always hungry." Leorio jabbed at me.
"Something bothers me." Kurapika just continued on.
"Hm?" Leorio and I questioned.
"How many tests are left?"
"Ah. That's true. We aren't told anything."
"It's probably not that much anyways." I answered.
Then I heard Tompa's voice. "It changes from year to year. The community decides it depending on the tontent of the trials. But usually there are 5 to 6 tests.
"So still 3 or 4." Leorio thought about it.
"So we'd better use this opportunity to rest." Kurapika pointed out.
"Yes naps are much needed." I said.
"I advise you to stay vigilant." Tompa told us. "LIke me, you heard the assistant say, 'until the next testing grounds,' so you can't exclude the possibility of the ship being the next testing ground. We can also suppose something might happen before 8 o' clock tomorrow. Imagine a trial take place while you're asleep. You won't be allowed to go on to the next round. Even here you'd better not drop your guard." He said looking smug as a bug in a rug. We looked at one another silently agreeing not to let Tompa bother us. Tompa left us with a smug grin on his face. He looked like he caught us in his net. However it wasn't so.
"Kurapika, I'm hungry. Can we search for food?" I asked giving him my best puppy dog look. Without looking at me he replied, "I'm tired. I'm sure you can find your way back."
"But pleeeaaase! I'm hungry now! Who knows the next time I might eat?" He turned to look at me. One look and he was a goner. Picking up his satchel we went on the search for the kitchen.
"Hah! Mitsuki has you in her trap!" Leorio laughed. I heard him laughing for a good bit. He has such a loud mouth.
"How did we become friends with him?" I asked joking.
"It's certainly a wonder." Kurapika replied. Thinking about it, it's been a long time since we last talked to only each other. It's been three days since I reunited with him. Yet it feels like forever.
"I'm glad you're not dead." I told him.
"I'm also glad you aren't dead either. I thought I was alone."
"Even if I wasn't here I think you wouldn't feel alone with those guys around." I smiled slightly.
"I've been wondering. How did you survive? Were there others?" He asked looking hopeful. I sighed. I brought up all the painful memories of that night.
"No. I barely survived. Honestly I'm still not sure why I'm still alive. On that day, there was no warning. They came at night. It all happened so fast. The reason I'm still alive, I think it's because one of them was careless and because of that carelessness I'm still alive. I was one of the first to get stabbed. It missed my heart. I think they thought they had already killed me or that I would die from blood loss and so they left me alone. I don't know. I kept coming in and out of consciousness. I saw Pairo, once, hovering me." My voice started to crack. It was already shaky. Kurapika had to know. I didn't want to be the only one with the pain of remembering. I knew I was being selfish but I couldn't help it. "I thought maybe they fought them off. I didn't realize is that he was dragging me away from the village. He hid me in some bushes and I was covered. Thanks to Pairo I'm alive and talking to you. I remember them killing a kid and the adults who were like us, got upset. They're eyes were so beautiful.. I saw them slice their heads off before they even knew they were already dead." I was shaking all over. This was too horrible to remember. I didn't want to remember, but I had to, for Kurapika. Mustering up whatever courage I had left I still continued on,"There was no chance at winning at all. The adults didn't have their strengths. They were monsters. Every one of them. I blacked out again. When I woke up, everything was silent. I saw morning had come. It was raining that day.. Getting myself out of the bushes, I crawled. I don't know how I had any strength. I just knew I wanted to die. Then I thought of you. You were still alive and in the world. Thinking of you I knew I couldn't die until I saw you. I kept on crawling. I had to make it. All my thoughts were of you. However, it's not like the fairytale books, I was on the verge of passing out again. If I passed out I knew I wouldn't wake up.. I was pretty weak. I remember seeing someone walking up to me. He wasn't one of the spiders.. Before passing out again I heard him say, 'there's one still alive.' When I woke up I was in a place I've never been before. He was speaking the language of the outsiders, so I knew he wasn't one of us. With my broken speech pattern I asked him what he meant that day. That's when he confirmed it, I was the only one to survive that massacre." With that I knew I couldn't go on. I had broken down crying. I felt Kurapika hug me. I noticed my shoulder getting wet and knew he was crying too. We held each other and cried. I felt so many emotions. If my old friend saw me now she'd smile because of the emotions I showed. I hugged Kurapika just a bit tighter. I didn't want him to let go. I haven't been held in so long.. Sure he hugged me already but this was an entirely different feeling.
Finally we stopped hugging. He wiped away my tears. I saw him try to brave it out. "I'm still hungry." I said breaking the silence. There was more to the story but I wasn't ready for it to all come out today.
"Let's go get some food."
So we found the kitchen and I grabbed more food. We made our way back to Leorio. I finished eating. By the time I was done I saw Kurapika and Leorio had fallen asleep. Taking my camera out of my bag, I took a picture of them two sleeping. It was adorable. This is definitely one of my best. I put my camera into the bag and took my blanket out. Sleep soon came to me.
I woke up to someone gently shaking me.
"Why can't you let me sleep some more?"
The person still kept trying to wake me up.
"Leave me alone Lina, I don't have a job today."
"Lina?" I heard someone say. That someone sounded like Kurapika..
"Oh kuso I'm awake!" I jumped up yelling.
I saw Kurapka stick up on eyebrow.
"Just an old friend." I commented.
"Well we are at the site."
"Seriously? I put my blanket up and headed for the window. Leorio, Kurapika, and I looked out the window.
"To all passengers, we are ready to land.
"It was surprising. It was a large tower.
We got dropped off and were standing at the top of the tower. There was nothing in plain site.
The little green man reminded me of a green jellybean. Mr. Jellybean spoke to us.
"You are here at the shrewdness tower. It's here that the third trial shall take place. Concerning the trial itself here are the jury's orders. Within a 72 hour time lime period you'll need to get to the bottom of this tower alive, of course."
Then the jellybean and the airship left.
"How do we get down?" I asked Kurapika. He looked down the side.
"It won't be possible climbing down."
"For ordinary guys, yes" Said this guy randomly. #86 looked pretty confident in himself. He got down and started to climb down. "With such grips it's a child's play for a professional rock climber like me." He started crawling down. I peered at him again. He was already down pretty fast. I heard some noises and looked into the sky. This weirdly shaped birds came and attacked him. You could hear his screams.
"Well looks like that's not the way to go." I said.
"I agree. I don't want to be food for them." Leorio shakily said.
"There must be a trap door that leads us inside. Kurapika murmured.
We were walking around and I noticed there weren't as many people as before. Looking at Kurapika, I noticed he had noticed too.
"What's the problem" Leorio asked being the slowest one as usual.
"The number of participants has decreased."
Leorio began to count. "23!"
"We're about half the amount of when we arrived." I was about to hear them more when I accidentally slipped into a trap door by mistake.
I landed gracefully on my feet. I looked up and instantly noticed there were four other people. Then it caught my attention one of them looked like a clown. Looking at the person I noticed it was Hisoka. It only took me 2 seconds to get all this info.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?" I yelled pointing at Hisoka.
Well this is random... lol. Love you guys.
:)
