Edit: I'm really looking forward to posting the sequel to this… :3

Here you go! I know it's a bit... Short... But ya know, I'm... Busy... I HATE school... Weekends are for relaxing, but, no, homework says otherwise. I got like 5 long term projects to complete! Not to mention just regular worksheets and stuff! Urgh! Anyway... Enjoy.

Cammie's POV

"I cloud-promised I'd always come back, didn't I?" Siddeley laughed with me as we hugged when the group returned to Radiator Springs. It was a fantastic day for everyone. While Siddeley and I ran to hug each other, so did Stacy and Andy, and Holley and Mater.

It was really funny, actually, I saw out of the corner of my eye Patrick and Finn were standing alone in the hug fest. Patrick said, "I don't have anyone to hug at the moment."

Finn awkwardly glanced at him. "I'm sure that pole would love a hug."

Patrick stared at him for a second before Finn laughed, said that he was joking and put his arm around Pat for a second in a friendly way. "Everyone lives, eh? Ah, good day."

"Are you sure he's gone?"

As I sat alone in the café, I couldn't remember if someone had actually asked me that, or if I had been asking myself that question for the past month.

"Are you okay, honey?" Flo's voice interrupted my thoughts. I looked up as she took the seat next to me.

"Yeah." I replied slowly. "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine." I smiled at her.

As a result of last month's traumatizing events, the townsfolk decided to invite me over to celebrate Thanksgiving with them. To my surprise, we didn't have dinner in the diner like I expected. No, instead, a long table had been set up in Flo and Ramone's house. It was a cozy place. The décor was a bit odd, considering Flo's touches of soft green walls and pastel furniture mixed in with Ramone's colorful accents of eccentric colors and other art. Nonetheless, it had a nice, homey feel. I wondered if they did this for every holiday, considering they had an unnaturally big dining room, for some reason. Maybe they added it especially for themselves after moving in.

Mostly everyone had left once dessert and several jaunty conversations were finished. A few, among them Sally, Lightning, Holley, Mater, and Ramone stayed behind to help clean up. Not too long ago, I'm sure, she had convinced them to run along after helping with most of the dishes to celebrate with the others.

"You sure?" Flo stared at me with her big, brown, sympathetic eyes.

If the residents of Radiator Springs keep any secrets to themselves, I wonder how they do it with this woman around.

"You know you can tell me anything, honey. You know that, right?" She softly told me.

I sighed.

Are you sure he's gone?

"I'm… I'm scared." I admitted.

"Scared?" Flo repeated.

Are you sure?

"With what happened last month…" I began, playing with the strings on my hoodie.

"Flo!" Someone called, bursting into the dining room. Flo and I turned our heads to see Sheriff. "Flo, did you save my pie?" he asked.

"Andy found it." Flo replied with an apologetic smile.

"What in blue blazes does he need a whole pie for?"

"Why do you need a whole pie?" Flo asked. "You had pie after turkey."

"Doesn't he have all those pets?" I spoke up.

"So, no pie?" Sheriff confirmed.

"Nope. I'm sorry, honey." Flo smiled once more.

Sheriff thanked Flo and left.

I gasped, spinning around to look over my shoulder. I thought I… I thought I heard something…

I guess there's never anything there.

"I'm sorry, sweetheart, what were you saying?" Flo asked.

I slowly turned back around in my chair. "It's… It's nothing." I decided, feeling embarrassed. "I'm just a bit jumpy after what happened. Getting this… Feeling. I'm sure it'll go away." I gave her a reassuring smile.

"Feeling?" Flo repeated.

"You know, the… The feeling that someone's watching you. But I guess I'm bound to feel that, anyway, now." I shrugged.

Flo frowned. "But you're not. He's gone. Isn't he?"

"See, that's just it…" I began, refusing to look at Flo. "I'm not Siddeley. What if instead of getting rid of him, I just…"

"Just what?" Flo asked quietly.

"Just quieted him down?" I looked Flo in the face.

"Cammie, don't think like that."

"I hear this voice at night…" I continued in a whisper.

Flo put her hand on my shoulder. "You wanna know what I think?"

"That I'm crazy?" I murmured.

"No," she softly replied. "Siddeley knows about him more than anyone. I think you should be telling this to him."

I thought about this for a moment. Flo stood to return to the dishes. I jumped to my feet, almost knocking over my chair in the process.

...

"Siddeley?" I called, strolling up to his jet. I walked up the ramp to see Finn and Stacy sitting next to each other in some of the chairs.

"We weren't doin' nothin'." Stacy stood up, looking embarrassed.

I laughed. "Sure," I replied. "You were sitting with each other. Ooh, so scandalous." I teased. Stacy crossed her arms but couldn't help cracking a smile.

"Come on, let's do our scandalous sitting elsewhere." Finn laughed, leading Stacy out of the jet by the arm.

I smiled. Patrick is totally right. I remembered what Holley said when I asked if they were officially a couple. She had told me that they denied they were together if confronted about it, but obviously wanted to be close. I shook my head. Poor Siddeley, having to deal with that.

I knocked on the cockpit door before opening it and walking inside. I closed it behind me.

"Hey, Cammie." Siddeley greeted with a smile. I couldn't help my face from lighting up whenever I saw him, now. I'd never admit it to him, but seeing his face full of color and decorated with a smile comforted me so much after seeing it lifeless a month before.

"What's up?" he asked, sitting unprofessionally in the pilot's chair. I plopped down in the co-pilot's.

"Um…" I began. I didn't exactly plan this out.

"What's wrong?" His smile dropped and he set down whatever he was messing with.

"When you were…" I was staring intently at my thumbs. "When you were younger, did you ever... Y'know, hear… Voices?" I asked.

I could feel Sid's eyes on me. "A-at night?" I added.

Siddeley leaned forward in his chair towards me. "What kind of voices?" He asked, concern evident in his own soothing voice.

"V-voices." I replied.

"Cammie..." His voice was just above whisper. "You don't think—?"

"That's he's still out there?" I finished for him.

"I believe you." He reassured immediately. "Believe me, I do. I use to hear voices... At first I thought I was dreaming someone telling me they were watching me and going to get me someday…"

"That's what they tell me." I whispered.

"Oh, Cammie... Oh, Cammie, Cammie, Cammie..." Siddeley crushed me in a hug. "I'm so sorry."

"What? What's happening?!" I demanded.

"I was afraid of this." Siddeley admitted, holding me at arm's length as he searched my eyes with his own fear-filled ones.

"Afraid of what? Sid, you're scaring me." I whimpered.

"Stalker Sid is gone." Siddeley nodded to himself. "I… I'm safe."

"Yeah? You are?" I asked, still not understanding.

"Cammie, don't you see…?" Siddeley whispered. "Even if Stalker Siddeley's gone, there's still a chance that…"

"What?"

"Stalker Cammie's…" Siddeley suggested.

I stared at him in disbelief. "You don't think—"

We both spun around when we heard squeaking on the windshield. It had fogged up, and there was a single word written in the condensation.

The color drained from my face. When I spoke, my voice trembled. "What does that mean?"

"It's not for us." Siddeley's voice was still low. "It's for him."

We both stared at the window as the word 'watch' written in crooked handwritingfaded away.
