Ginger, Lauren, Shade, Derek, Bolt, and Flash ran into the hospital and started to frantically look for Reese and Luna. They quickly spotted them and Luna had a few tears in her eyes while Reese looked angry.

"Mom, what happened?" Ginger asked rushing to her side. Luna gasped slightly before covering her mouth and crying a little more. Reese sighed and turned to face his daughter.

"Shawn was hit by a car. He's unconscious and the doctor's are not sure when and if he'll wake up." Reese muttered. Ginger and Lauren gasped before tears started to trail down their faces. Bolt cursed loudly before punching the wall in anger. Shade buried his face into his hands while Flash tried to calm Bolt down. Derek sighed softly before turning to look at Reese.

"Can we see him?" He asked as Reese raised his eyebrow.

"Yes, but why do you care?" Reese asked as Ginger snapped out of her state of shock and looked over to her Dad.

"Um…he's kind of my boyfriend." Ginger told him.

"Boyfriend? How come I wasn't informed about this?" Reese exclaimed as Derek and Ginger looked at each other. Luna walked over to him and put her hand on his shoulder.

"We can deal with this later. Just let them see Shawn." She told him and Reese sighed.

"Fine." He said as they all walked down the hall. They stood outside his room all looking at each other, wondering who'll be the first one to walk in. Ginger sighed softly before opening the door slowly and walking in with everyone following her. She gasped horrified when she saw Shawn hooked up to multiple machines and his face ashen. There was a cast around his left arm and had multiple bruises and cuts around his face and body. Several stitches went through his left eyebrow and his hair was all matted against his head.

"I should have gone after him." Shade muttered shaking his head.

"It wouldn't have made a difference. He'll still be here and you'll probably be next to him." Lauren told him sitting in a chair next to Shawn's bed. The door opened and they all turned to see Ruby there looking scared and shocked.

"What are you doing here?" Bolt asked coldly. He knew Shawn left the party because of her and he probably wouldn't be here if she didn't have to rub her new relationship in his face.

"I heard what happened to him." She spoke softy as she walked over to him.

"Oh? So now you care about him?" Bolt sneered as Ruby snapped her head towards him.

"What's your problem?" She asked putting her hands on her hips.

"What's my problem? He's like this all because of you!" Bolt shouted as Ruby looked at him confused.

"What the hell are you talking about?" She yelled at him now standing up.

"Will you two take this stupid fight in the fucking hall? I'm tired of it and you two are not making this situation any better!" Flash yelled surprising everybody. Bolt and Ruby glared at each other before they stormed off into the hall.

"Who do the hell do you think you are for telling me all this my fault?" Ruby yelled as she poked her finger into Bolt's chest.

"You're the reason why he left the party! You and your fucking ass of a boyfriend!" He yelled as Ruby looked at him confused.

"What does Jared and I have to do with this?" She asked as Bolt glared at her.

"You're really that damn stupid." Bolt shook his head and Ruby glared at him. She was about to say something but Bolt cut her off. "I don't even want to hear it! He is sitting there, unconscious, all because of you! Can't you see why? It's because he fucking likes you! He's head over heels for you! But you're too damn dense to figure it out!" Bolt shouted at her before he stormed off down the hall leaving Ruby shocked. Guilt and shame quickly washed over her and she dropped to ground with her back against the wall.

"It's my entire fault." She mumbled holding her head in her hands.

"You didn't know." Lauren said and Ruby looked up to see her standing there.

"Of course I didn't! I'm an idiot!" Ruby cried before burying her face into her hands. Lauren sat down next to her and put her arms around Ruby's shoulders.

"He knew that you and Jared were going to end up together and he didn't want to be in the way of your future because he had a vision. He didn't really know how to cope with it." Lauren explained and Ruby looked at her confused.

"But I only got with Jared as a distraction. Couldn't he see that?" Ruby asked.

"Distraction?" Lauren asked as Ruby rolled her eyes.

"I like Shawn. Like really, really like him. But he never seemed interested in me in that way. I thought it was because he liked girly-girls not some skater chick like me. So I gave up on him. Jared seemed to really like me so I gave it a shot." Ruby shrugged as she wiped the tears of her cheeks. Lauren smacked her hand over her forehead and Ruby looked over to her confused.

"I can't believe I was so stupid!" Lauren exclaimed. "He told me all about this and I was so consumed with other things when I could have just read your mind and stop all this from happening." Lauren explained. "He likes you a lot Ruby and has liked you since the beginning of high school!" She told her and Ruby looked at her surprised.

"He really likes me?" She murmured.

"So much." Lauren said squeezing her shoulder. Ruby stood up with a look of determination and wiped her tears furiously. She marched into Shawn's room and put her hands on his shoulders.

"I need you to wake up for me, okay?" Ruby told Shawn as Lauren slowly walked back into the room. "Please Shawn, please wake up." She begged putting her hand on his cheek.

"What are you doing?" Flash asked slowly, but Ruby ignored him.

"Shawn, wake up, please. I like you, okay? Not Jared. You're the one for me." Ruby pleaded and she saw his eyelids flutter a little bit. She leaned down quickly and kissed him firmly. Everybody looked at her like she was crazy except for Lauren. But soon they all gasped when they saw Shawn's arm reach up and wrap around Ruby. Ruby smiled when she felt Shawn kissing her back and she quickly pulled away only to be greeted by his turquoise eyes.

"Is this heaven?" He asked hoarsely and everybody started shouting all the while Ruby wrapped her arms around Shawn happily.

"Oh my God, I'm so happy that you're okay." Ruby murmured as tears appeared in the corners of her eyes.

"I'm really happy that this is happening, but I should tell you that you're leaning on one of my bruises." Shawn muttered and Ruby quickly got off of him blushing. He chuckled while everybody rushed to his side.

"Shawn what happened exactly?" Reese asked.

"I'm not really sure. I just remember going down the street when this car drove up and crashed into the front of my car, T-boning me. The worst part of it was the car kept going like it never hit me." Shawn explained. Everybody stayed in the room with him for a while before leaving the room for various reasons. Ruby stayed with him and he smiled happily at her while he held his hand. Ruby was staring at the ground guiltily and he asked her what's wrong.

"You wouldn't have stormed off if it wasn't for me." Ruby muttered as tears rolled down her cheeks. Shawn lifted his other hand, the broken one, and wiped the tears away from her cheeks.

"Don't blame yourself. Guilt is not very flattering on you." Shawn told her as Ruby laughed softly. "You're not the one who crashed into me and had nothing to do with it so don't be sorry." Shawn said reassuringly.

"How come you saw me with Jared, but you never saw the feelings I had for you?" She asked and Shawn sighed.

"I can't see everything I want too. I can only look into a person's future briefly, but I can only see a few things. Not many. I saw you with Jared and after that I didn't see much else. Mostly visions just come to me." Shawn explained and Ruby squeezed his hand a little tighter.

"I wish I never gave up." She told him.

"You didn't." Shawn grinned as he looked up at her.

School was back in session with everybody talking about the party. Ruby broke up with Jared which gave him another reason to hate Shawn, but Shawn didn't give a fuck. Bolt still was a little pissed at Ruby, but he squashed it because Shawn was clearly very happy with her. After first period, Shade was leaning against a locker waiting for Suzy to show up. She turned the corner and he quickly walked over towards her.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" Suzy asked opening her locker. The lockers were assigned by class level so the freshmen lockers were far away from the sophomore lockers.

"I was just wondering if you wanted to go see a movie with me or something." He asked.

"W-what?" She stuttered staring at him wide-eyed.

"Do you want to go see a movie with me? Like a date?" He asked a little more nervously this time. Suzy stared at him shock as her thoughts raced inside her mind. Shade had just asked her out! He really just asked her out! She quickly shook her head and composed herself.

"Yeah, is Saturday okay?" She smiled and Shade sighed in relief.

"Yeah, uh Saturday is great. Uh, pick you up at two?" He asked.

"Okay, see you Saturday." Suzy nodded. Shade smiled at her one more time before walking away and to his next class. When he was gone she started bouncing up and down squealing in pure joy.

"Why are you so happy?" Ivy asked walking up to Suzy.

"Guess who I have a date with?" Suzy smiled excitedly. Ivy shrugged her shoulders and smiled. "Shade!" She exclaimed and Ivy squealed happily.

"I can't believe it!" Ivy cheered as they both held onto each other and jumped up and down.

"I know!" Suzy smiled before she stopped and looked at Ivy with a look of horror. "I have nothing to wear!" She exclaimed as Ivy giggled.

"Don't worry you have until Saturday and it's only Monday." Ivy told her as Suzy sulked her way to her next class. Flash was walking to his next class when he saw Ivy.

"Hey Ivy." Flash smiled.

"Hey Flash. What's up?" She asked.

"Nothing much. I saw Suzy freaking out. What was that about?" He asked as they continued walking.

"She has a date with Shade and she was freaking out about what to wear. I swear sometimes she needs to relax." Ivy laughed.

"Shade? What happens when AJ finds out?" He asked as Ivy shrugged her shoulders. Suddenly a brown hawk bumped into her making her drop all her books.

"Move it you snot-colored bitch!" He sneered as Flash glared at him.

"Don't call her that!" Flash shouted pushing the hawk.

"What's that Frosh?" The hawk asked grabbing the collar of Flash's shirt.

"I said don't call her that!" He gritted out before grabbing onto the hawk's wrists and electrocuting him.

The hawk flew back and slammed into a locker leaving a giant dent. His friends grabbed Flash and started punching his stomach. He sent an electric pulse throughout his body, shocking the guys off of him. The hawk charged him and punched Flash in the face, but Flash was quick to counter and kicked him in the stomach. The hawk stumbled back and growled at Flash before charging him again. Flash dodged him and grabbed onto his shirt before turning him around and throwing him against another row of lockers. He stalked towards the hawk menacingly panting angrily and growling. His hands were surging with electricity and his eyes had a wild look to them. Hydro and Bolt appeared behind him and restrained him quickly.

"Flash! Calm down!" Hydro shouted as Flash struggled against him and Bolt. "You don't want to go there. You saw how hard it was with me and how hard it is for Tsunami now." Hydro muttered and Flash immediately stopped. He dropped his head and inhaled deeply before exhaling. The hawk and his friends had ran off when they saw Flash being restrained. Bolt and Hydro slowly released their hold on him, but remained close to him.

"Flash!" His head shot up when he saw Ivy running over to him. "Are you okay?" She asked putting her hands on his face.

"I-I'm fine." He cleared his throat when a blush stained his cheeks.

"You're bleeding!" She exclaimed looking at his split lip.

"It's nothing." He shrugged.

"C'mon we have to go to the nurse's office!" Ivy told him before grabbing his hand and dragging him away. He looked back to see Hydro smirking and Bolt snickering.

"I'm really fine, Ivy. I don't want to make you late for class." He told her when the bell rang. Ivy just smiled back at him and shrugged.

"Too late." She grinned before continuing to tug him down the halls. Flash smirked before lifting her up in his arms and surprising her.

"If we're going there, then we're going there fast." He told her before taking off at super speed. Ivy laughed and wrapped her arms around his neck. He soon skidded to a stop in front of the nurse's office and the school nurse looked at the both of them skeptically.

"May I help you?" She asked looking at them with a raised eyebrow. Flash quickly put Ivy down and she straightened herself out.

"My friend split his lip." Ivy told her as the nurse got up and examined him.

"Well the bleeding seemed to stop. So, here's some ice to stop the swelling." She said handing him a bag of ice. Flash signed in and out of the nurse's office and they both left to go to their classes.

"You know this isn't necessary." Flash said through the bag of ice as Ivy just smiled.

"Yes, it is, you got hurt and split your lip." She explained as he rolled his eyes. They stopped at the end of the hall where they had to split up and turned to face each other.

"I guess I'll see you at lunch." Flash mumbled awkwardly.

"Um…you know how Suzy and Shade are going on that date Saturday?" She asked fiddling with her fingers.

"Yeah?" He raised his eyebrow.

"Well I thought, since Suzy is freaking out, that I could be there for moral support. But I don't want to be a third wheel. So, maybe, you can go with me?" She asked nervously as Flash looked at her surprised.

"Sure!" He exclaimed before clearing his throat. "I mean, yeah that'll be cool." He told her nonchalantly making her laugh.

"Great!" She said before turning on her heel to head to her class. "Oh and Flash?" She quickly turned back around and put her hand on his lip. She quickly healed his lip and turned around and walked away.

"But we…" He stopped talking when she turned around and winked at him. He smiled brightly before he turned around and raised his hands pretending to shoot a basketball.

"He shoots and he scores!" He whispered to himself before walking off to his next class. Serenity was in her Drama class watching as the other kids in her classes performed skits and monologues. She was bored out of her mind and was staring off to the side daydreaming.

"You know you really should pay attention." She heard a voice behind her say. She turned around and saw Conner with his video camera filming.

"Why are you here?" She asked smiling over to him.

"I have to film some of the other classes for my Film class." He shrugged.

"Well at least you do something. I have to sit here and watch these for my whole period." She muttered.

"You're not performing?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"I did mine yesterday." She told him and he looked down disappointed. "I saw you filming some of Tyler's tricks the other day." She said surprising him.

"Yeah I do a lot of that for them. They want to see how their tricks turn out and plus it gives me some practice with filming and moving, ya know? Plus editing since they like to have some compilation of them skating." Conner explained sheepishly.

"You really like filming, don't you?" She asked.

"One of my passions." He grinned. The way he looked at her made butterflies erupt in her stomach and she blushed. She cursed her damn emotions—something she had picked up from her father. "Is soccer one of yours?" He asked.

"Yeah! I love it." She smiled brightly but they were both quickly shushed by the teacher. They both snickered softly before the bell rang.

"I'll see you later." Conner said turning off his camera. Serenity was disappointed that he was leaving and panicked for a moment trying to figure out a way she could spend time with him.

"Would you like to sit with me at lunch?" She blurted out surprising herself and Conner. She blushed when he looked back at her and he smiled.

"Sure. I'll see you at lunch." Conner grinned before leaving the classroom. Serenity smiled happily before she grabbed her bag and headed to her next class. Lauren and Hydro were sitting in their music class and communicating telepathically thanks to Lauren's power.

'Do you think he knows his fly is down?' Hydro thought as Lauren laughed softly to herself.

'I don't think he knows. Poor guy, I'm sure he'll be embarrassed when he finds out.' Lauren thought as Hydro looked over at her from his seat. They were sitting on opposite sides of the classroom and he'd much rather talk to her then speak through their minds.

'So, is your brother okay?' Hydro asked as Lauren smiled softly.

'Yeah, especially with his new girlfriend.' She sang in her head as Hydro laughed quietly. 'What about yours? I heard he got into a fight today?' Lauren thought as he smirked.

'Wow, word gets around fast. He's fine. That Ivy girl, who he has a giant crush on, helped him to the nurse's office which was hilarious to watch.' Hydro thought as Lauren laughed silently.

'Well, Shade told me after he told me about asking out Suzy.' Lauren said and Hydro's eyebrows shot up.

'Wow I wonder how AJ is going to react to that.' Hydro muttered.

'Well I think about the same way you reacted to Lazarus and your sister.' Lauren said as Hydro rolled his eyes.

'That's different. She used to hate him.' Hydro told her.

'Yeah, yeah keep on saying that.' Lauren smirked.

"Miss Romaro! Is there something wrong with my lecture because you seem to be having quite a laugh over there." The teacher scolded and Lauren sunk down in her seat.

"No sir." She muttered as Hydro laughed. 'Shut up!' She glared at him as he continued to laugh. Everybody's favorite time of the day finally came—lunch. Serenity was nervously looking around for Conner when she spotted him joining the lunch line.

"I'll see you guys later." Serenity told Ginger and Julian.

"Where are you going?" Ginger asked and Julian smirked.

"Didn't she tell you? She has a lunch date with Conner." Julian sang his name and Serenity glared at him.

"It's not a date." She muttered making her two friends laugh.

"Sure it isn't." Julian smirked.

"How do you even know?" She asked.

"The football team talks, honey." Julian told her and she raised her eyebrow.

"Conner is on the football team?" She looked over to Julian and he nodded. "But you guys didn't even have practice between then and now." She muttered.

"Words gets around." He shrugged. Serenity huffed before walking over to Conner. Conner noticed her immediately and smiled.

"Hey Serenity." Conner said as she stood next to him in the lunch line.

"Hi, you know you never told me you were on the football team." Serenity told him and he chuckled nervously.

"Well it didn't really come up." He said sheepishly. "So who did you find out from? Julian or Shadow?" He asked as she smiled.

"Julian, but I think my Dad mentioned it. I probably wasn't listening though." She said as Conner chuckled lightly. "My Dad isn't hard on you right?" She asked nervously and he laughed.

"Not as much as Knuckles. He's the defense coach and he's a freaking machine when it comes to football!" He told her as they walked to an empty table.

"I feel bad for Brice now." Serenity mumbled.

"He's been better since he started to date Nicole." He told her as he pointed over to their direction. The couple were currently feeding each other grapes making Serenity grimace. She's all for love, but not that lovey-dovey crap. Conner chuckled at her face and she quickly turned back to him.

"What position do you play?" She asked eating her pizza.

"I'm a safety. What about you?" Conner asked as she wiped her mouth.

"I'm a half-back." She told him. She noticed him staring at her with a smile on his face. "What?" She asked laughing nervously. He shook his head before clearing his throat and blushing.

"Uh…nothing." He muttered.

"C'mon, just tell me." She smiled.

"Uh…it was just that, um, the sun was hitting you a really nice angle right now and you looked really beautiful then." He explained and she blushed.

"Let me guess, my eyes sparkled." She chuckled as Conner looked at her confused. "My Dad says I have my Mom's eyes and says her eyes always sparkle. So I was just guessing mine do too." She explained as he smiled.

"Your eyes always sparkle even without the light." Conner told her and the butterflies were back. It was the sweetest compliment she ever heard. Maybe this lovey-dovey crap isn't so bad after all. The bell had to ring to ruin their perfect moment and Serenity groaned.

"I'll see you later." He grinned as they walked to their classes.

The week passed by eventually and Suzy started to freak out when Friday arrived and she realized her date was tomorrow. She was biting her nails and pacing in front of Ivy before school started.

"You know that's a bad habit." Ivy told her.

"Does it look like a really care?" Suzy snapped and Ivy put her hands up defensively.

"Suzy calm down, your date is tomorrow and you'll be fine. Flash and I will be there too. So there's nothing to worry about." Ivy said reassuringly and Suzy groaned.

"What if I do something wrong? What if I make a total dumbass of myself? What if he thinks I'm some lame freshmen?" Suzy kept ranting on as Ivy rolled her eyes. She walked in front of Suzy and slapped across the face.

"Will you calm the fuck down? He asked you out because he likes you! You two will have a fun time and you won't do anything wrong!" Ivy yelled shaking Suzy by her shoulders.

"Okay, okay I'm calm." Suzy said taking a breath. Then she realized something. "Wait…you're going with Flash?" Suzy asked.

"Yeah, I didn't want to be a third wheel. So, I asked him." Ivy shrugged and Suzy smirked.

"Sure…that's the reason." She chuckled.

"Shut up!" Ivy whined as Suzy laughed.

Serenity stopped by her locker to drop off some books between her classes. However, when she opened her locker she saw three red roses there with a note attached to them. She looked at the note and it said, "Roses are red…" She shrugged her shoulders thinking it was cute, but quickly thought how it could be from some stalker. She carried the roses with her to her Government class and saw three violets laying on her desk with a note similar to the roses. She looked at the note attached and it read, "Violets are blue…" She added them to the roses while looking around to see if her mystery person was anywhere around.

When she headed to her AP Literature class she found three white daisies waiting for on her desk with a note attached. She was started to get excited about this and quickly read the note. It said, "You're beautiful, with brains to boot…" She added the daises to her growing bouquet while some girls stared at her enviously. When class ended she started to head to cafeteria quickly, thinking she'll find her mystery guy there, but she was only greeted by Julian with a stupid smirk on his face.

"What?" She mumbled and his smile grew wider.

"Special delivery." He told her before handing her three sunflowers. She practically ripped them out of his hand just to read the note.

"'So let's get to the end,'" She recited.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" She turned around quickly to see Conner standing there with purple freesias—her favorite flowers. She gasped as everything started to piece together in her mind. She was absolutely speechless. She couldn't believe he went through all this trouble just to ask her out. She jumped into his arm and hugged him tightly as he laughed.

"I'm taking that as a yes." He muttered as she nodded excitedly.

"Why can't you ask girls out like that?" Ginger asked as they watched from their table.

"Hey, I treat my girls with the upmost respect." He said defending himself.

"Hey Julian." Three girls said flirtatiously as they walked by. He winked at them as they giggled excitedly and walked away. He turned to see Ginger looking at him with a less than impressed look.

"What?" Julian asked and she shook her head.

Saturday finally came and Suzy was sitting in her room nervously pacing back and forth. Ivy sighed as she sat on her bed and watched her friend freak out.

"Do we have to go through this again?" Ivy asked raising her hand up.

"He's going to be here in five minutes. Five minutes! And he won't be late. He's the son of the freakin' Ultimate Life Form!" Suzy exclaimed when Jillian walked in with baby Alena on her hip.

"Is Suzy still freaking out about her date?" She asked Ivy as she rolled her eyes.

"More than ever." Ivy mumbled as Jillian sighed. Jillian walked over and handed Alena to Ivy before reaching over and grabbing her daughter's shoulders.

"Suzy, calm down. I've talked to Amy, and Shade is pretty nervous about this date too. Well…he's more jittery. Amy tapped him on the shoulder and he threw a chaos spear at her!" She explained making Ivy and Suzy gasp. "She dodged it though." She said.

"He's really that nervous?" Suzy asked as Jillian laughed.

"No, it's worse. He almost buzzed off Shadow's quills." Jillian told her and they all laughed. The doorbell rang and Suzy and Ivy practically sprinted out of the room while Jillian followed behind with Alena back in her arms. Before Suzy could even step foot off the staircase she froze. She tried to move, but then she saw as her father walked out whistling casually with his eyes glowing and realized he had stopped all of them.

"Dad!" Suzy exclaimed but Todd simply walked over to the door.

"Hello Shade." Todd greeted.

"Hey Todd, my Dad was wondering if you wanted to hang out with him and Reese later." Shade told him casually.

"I'll call him later. So, you and my daughter going on a date." He smiled throwing his arm over Shade's shoulders while Suzy slowly died of embarrassment.

"Yeah, and I hope that's okay?" Shade asked and Todd grinned.

"Yeah it's okay, but I just wanted to know. Why couldn't you find someone your own age?" Todd joked and Suzy's jaw dropped.

"Dad!" Suzy exclaimed as Jillian looked at Todd disapprovingly.

"What? I just wanted to know." Todd said innocently before releasing them from his hold.

"Okay we'll be leaving now. Bye!" Ivy said pulling Shade and Suzy out with her. Ebony was sitting in the passenger seat of her Range Rover while Andrew drove towards the Storm House.

"Thanks for the ride, Ebony." Suzy told her from the backseat. Shade didn't have his license yet so he had to resort to asking his sister for a ride. He was happy that Ebony agreed because he'd rather run Suzy there than have his parents drive them.

"No problem. Shade's lucky enough I had a date too." Ebony smirked looking at Andrew who had a grin on his face.

"Wait doesn't Serenity have a date too?" Shade asked as Ebony nodded her head. "So, Dad and Mom have the house to themselves?" Shade said slowly. Shade and Ebony both shuddered at the thought of their parents alone. They ended up at Flash's house soon enough and Andrew honked the horn. Flash soon came out and hopped in the car with everybody else.

"Hey guys! What movie are we seeing?" Flash asked as Andrew pulled out of the driveway.

"Some action movie." Ivy shrugged. They soon arrived to the area where the movie theater was and parked in a parking structure.

"Just call me when you're ready to go home." Ebony told Shade before she and Andrew walked off.

"Two tickets for Dawn." Shade said to the ticket lady as she typed it in. Suzy was starting to get her money out, but Shade quickly stopped her. "Don't worry I got it." Shade told her as he pushed her money backed to her.

"Are you sure? I really can pay for myself." Suzy offered as Shade received the tickets and gave the woman his money.

"Positive." He smiled before they walked into the theater. They all got their tickets checked before they walked into their theater and got their seats. Flash quickly leaned over Ivy towards Shade and Suzy and pointed at them.

"Hey I know this is a date and everything, but if halfway through the movie I turn to see you guys making out, I won't hesitate to shock your ass Shade." Flash smirked making everybody laugh.

The movie soon started and Suzy and Shade kept sneaking glances at each other throughout the whole movie and every time they both caught each other they would smile and blush. Ivy and Flash were getting along great though. They were holding hands and laughing together at jokes either one would make. Suzy started to feel a little jealous because Shade and her weren't getting along like that. Suddenly she felt him hold her hand and she looked up at him and he smiled at her. She blushed and intertwined their fingers. The movie was soon over and the two couples walked hand and hand to a nearby burger joint.

"That movie was awesome!" Ivy said excitedly while Flash put his arm around her.

"I think the ending could have been better." Suzy shrugged while holding hands with Shade under the table.

"Hey we'll meet up with you guys later. We're going on a walk." Shade said as he and Suzy got out of their seats and left the joint.

"Where are we going?" Suzy asked as Shade smirked.

"Nowhere near here." He said going into an alley and pulling out his Chaos Emerald. "Chaos Control!" He said before they disappeared in a flash of blue. Suzy held on to him as tight as she could. She opened her eyes when and saw they were on a beautiful and empty beach. The sand was white and soft and the water was clear blue with the reflection of the setting sun in it.

"Where are we?" Suzy asked astonished. Shade smiled at her before wrapping his arm around her waist.

"A little island off Brazil." Shade answered simply as Suzy took in her environment.

"It's beautiful." She whispered in awe. Shade was looking down at her while she stared out at the sunset

"Yeah," Shade whispered. "It really is." Back at the burger joint Ivy and Flash were eating and enjoying their time together. Ivy suddenly stopped laughing when she noticed AJ walk into the restaurant. She quickly grabbed her bag and Flash looked at her confused.

"Oh God, AJ is here!" Ivy whispered pulling out her phone.

"Are you sure that's him?" Flash asked looking at AJ. However, all he could see was the back of his head so he couldn't really see his face.

"Of course it is." Ivy hissed as she called Suzy. Suzy was seating between Shade's legs on the sand while she leaned against his chest. This was amazing and a hell of a first date in her opinion. She felt her phone vibrate and quickly pulled it out of her purse.

"Hello?" She said answering her phone.

"Suzy it's me! Wherever you are, you should know your brother is here!" Ivy exclaimed and Suzy's eyes widened.

"What?" Suzy yelled into her phone. "He's there? I'll see you in a few minutes." Suzy said before she hung up her phone. "My brother is over there we have to get Ivy and Flash and leave!" Suzy told him getting up and dusting the sand off of her.

"Wait! There's something I have to do first." Shade said getting up.

"Wha—"She was cut off by Shade when he pressed his lips against hers. He had his hands on her face as she gripped the sides of his shirt. He pulled away and smiled down at her.

"Okay let's go." He said as she shook her head and laughed. They disappeared and reappeared in the alley they were in before. They peeked their heads out of the corner to see if the coast was clear before they snuck towards the diner.

"It took you two long enough!" Ivy said as they sat in their booth.

"We got a little caught up." Shade said as Suzy blushed.

"I don't even want to know. Let's go." Flash said shaking his head and slamming a twenty on the table. He started to scoot out of the booth when a voice stopped him.

"Flash!" AJ exclaimed startling all of them. Shade and Suzy quickly dropped underneath the table, hoping AJ was just saying a quick hi and leaving.

"Shit." Flash muttered as he saw AJ heading towards them.

"AJ! What's up?" Flash asked as he and Ivy smiled. AJ sat across from them and Shade and Suzy cursed when they saw his legs.

"I'm meeting a date here. I can see you have one too." AJ smirked and Flash laughed nervously.

"I do so why can't you see that I would like to continue to enjoy my date?" Flash chuckled as AJ raised his hands defensively.

"Hey, I can see when I'm not wanted." AJ smirked scooting out of the booth. He stopped when he felt something weird against his foot. He pulled Shade out from underneath the table.

"What are you doing under there with…" He asked as he looked down and saw the black fox with purple eyes from the party. "…Megan?" AJ muttered confused as she smiled and waved. "What were you two doing under the table?" He asked as Shade smiled nervously.

"We were hiding from her crazy ex," Shade laughed nervously as AJ raised his eyebrow. "And then you came and we couldn't really get out so…" AJ turned and looked over to "Megan" who just smiled awkwardly and waved.

"Okay, I'll leave you guys to your date." AJ shrugged as he walked outside and met with Amber. Suzy sighed in relief as she went back to herself.

"That was close." Suzy said as they all nodded.

"Let's go before he comes back." Ivy said as Shade started dialing Ebony's number. Shade walked Suzy up to her porch after they dropped off Ivy and Flash.

"So…I was wondering if you'd be my girlfriend?" Shade asked and Suzy smiled brightly. "I mean, it's up to you. Whatever you want." He said nervously.

"I would love to be your girlfriend." She told him and he smiled at her. They slowly began to lean towards each other for another kiss, but an alarm from a megaphone went off startling them.

"Step away from the daughter!" Todd said through the megaphone.

"I'll call you later." Shade sighed and Suzy nodded.

"Bye." Suzy smiled before walking into her house. "Dad, I'm going to kill you!" Suzy screamed before she ran up the stairs to find her dad.
