Everything soon returned to normal with the repairs to the school being made and the expulsion of Joseph from the school. The parents eventually found out about what happened and they were a weird mixture of angry and proud. However, today brought a whole new level a challenge for the underclassmen. All the freshman and sophomores were practically dragging themselves to school today. Today they all had to go to the lecture hall and have the classic "Birds and the Bees" talk otherwise known as Sex Ed.
"Cheer up AJ! It won't be that bad." Julian grinned and AJ glared at him.
"Yeah, that bad. You're only saying that because you don't have to go through it." AJ muttered as Julian pondered this for a second.
"Yup! You're right." He laughed while he walked away.
"Stupid senior brother." He grumbled as he walked into the auditorium and sat next to Lazarus. "This sucks." He muttered crossing his arms.
"It's just two hours." Lazarus shrugged as AJ slouched in his seat.
"Two hours of my life filled with pointlessness." AJ mumbled and Lazarus rolled his eyes. Lauren and Chrissy were sitting in their seats while waiting for the talk to started when Lauren spotted Alana.
"Hey!" Lauren shouted to Alana who was sitting by herself. "You're in my Chemistry class, right?" She asked moving to sit down next to her.
"Uh…yeah. I'm Alana." She said shyly as Lauren smiled.
"I'm Lauren." She smiled as Chrissy sat next to her. "This is Chrissy." She said pointing to Chrissy.
"Hi I'm Alana." She said as Chrissy smiled and waved.
"So Chrissy, where's the boyfriend?" Lauren asked leaning back into her seat.
"You know they separate the boys from the girls. Why do you ask?" She grumbled as Lauren laughed.
"To annoy you like that!" She smirked as Chrissy rolled her eyes. Suzy sat next to Ivy and Hailey and waved at Shade. Shade waved back and Suzy smiled. She noticed Ivy and Hailey both whispering next to her.
"What are you guys whispering about?" She asked as Ivy and Hailey flipped around.
"Oh nothing." Hailey smiled innocently as Suzy crossed her arms.
"I know you're lying." She said as Hailey sighed.
"Fine, we were betting on when AJ will find out about you and Shade." Hailey explained as Suzy's mouth dropped.
"I said two weeks." Ivy piped in as Suzy glared at her.
"You guys are the worst friends ever." Suzy pouted as Hailey and Ivy laughed. Shade was sitting with Bolt and Flash while Tsunami sat with Amber all waiting to get this over with. Renegade, being new to school, still had to attend despite being a junior because his previously school didn't offer sex education. He was sitting in the back, next to no one particular, and completely bored out of his mind.
"Who's ready to learn about sex?" They heard a booming voice shout. Suzy and AJ sank down further into their seats because that voice could only belong to one person. Todd and Reese walked out complete cheery despite their children dying from embarrassment.
"Cool it!" Reese said grabbing the microphone out of Todd's hands. "Well, I guess there's no need for an introduction on what you're learning today." Reese said as everybody laughed—well, except for a select few.
"Who thinks they already know all they need to know about sex?" Todd asked as a majority raised their hands. "Everybody look at the people raising their hands because they'll probably be the first people to get pregnant or contract and STI." He said and people laughed while people sheepishly dropped their hands.
"You guys are 14, 15, and 16. I know you guys live in the age of the Internet, but please don't believe everything you read on there." Reese explained.
"If I did that, I would still think that every time I order pizza some guy was going to try and sleep with me." Todd muttered and Reese rolled his eyes and the audience laughed. The talk continued with more laughs, but also a lot of great information. Lauren, however, was very bored having already receiving almost an identical talk from her parents last year. An idea popped into her mind when she looked over to Alana. She smiled deviously before leaning over and whispering into her ear.
"I can't do that!" She whispered her eyes turning an almost florescent pink.
"C'mon! It'll be so funny!" She smiled. Alana sighed in defeat and looked over to where all the boys were sitting. She sent out a wave of lust and she watched as all the guys shifted uncomfortably in their seats. Lauren quietly laughed as Alana flushed with embarrassment.
"Is this conversation a little too much for you boys?" Todd asked as some of the guys ran out of the hall. Flash put his knees to his chest trying to cover himself the best he could while the rest of the guys crossed their legs or pulled their shirts down. Suddenly Alana felt a hand on her shoulder and turned to see the principal standing behind her.
"Care to explain?" He asked motioning to the boys.
"Um…" She stuttered, her eyes turning pink.
"It was my idea." Lauren admitted and the principal rolled his eyes.
"Why am I not surprised? Well, since you both had something to do with this you both have Saturday Detention." He told them and Alana looked down ashamed.
"Don't worry, it will probably only be us and all we do is hang out." Lauren explained being an expert in the subject manner as Alana sighed. The guys were all finally settled down since Alana was now focused on the fact that she got Saturday Detention.
"Let's move onto how to put on a condom!" Todd exclaimed throwing a bunch of condoms into the air from his pocket. "You get a condom! And you get a condom! Everybody gets a condom!" Todd shouted as he threw condoms into the audience. They started the steps necessary to put a condom on using a banana while a few giggles and snickers could be heard. Renegade rolled his eyes and got out of his seat. He left the auditorium with his backpack slung over his shoulder. He decided to just kill time outside before he had to go back to his actual classes.
"Mr. Black!" The principal shouted and Renegade cursed. "Why aren't you in the Lecture hall?" He asked.
"Because I felt uncomfortable." He tried to lie.
"Lying isn't going to help you in this situation." He told him and Renegade rolled his eyes. "Saturday Detention." He said and Renegade sighed. Great, he just lost his whole Saturday to school and was dragged back into the auditorium.
Since Bolt, Flash, and Shade were closer to the back, Flash and Bolt were playing "Spark Hockey" where they flicked sparks back and forth between each other. Shade was keeping score for them even though he was betting on Bolt to win. Flash got a little overzealous and fired a large spark towards Bolt and he reacted by deflecting it. It flew up and hit one of the lights on the ceiling causing a small fire. The sprinkler system immediately turned on raining down on everyone in the auditorium. The people who had water abilities were quick to cover everybody from the water, but everybody still ended soaked. Todd shook himself out and all the water on him flew onto Reese.
"Thanks." Reese muttered flipping his hair back.
"No problem buddy!" Todd grinned. Bolt and Flash ran out of the auditorium before people figured out it was them and skidded to a stop when they were on the other side of the school. Flash sighed in relief, but Bolt noticed a pink paper pinned to him. He pulled it off and Flash did the same for a pink note on him.
"Saturday Detention?" Bolt shouted and Flash stared at the note confused.
"How did he even do that?" Flash asked as Bolt rolled his eyes. Since the auditorium was practically flooded now, the lesson was cut short and everybody had to return to their normal classes. Lazarus was quick to catch up to Tsunami when they were released back into the halls.
"I missed you." He smiled wrapping his arms around her.
"It was only an hour." She told him and Lazarus shrugged his shoulders and gave her a chaste kiss. "Go! You're going to be late to class." She laughed and he pouted.
"Just a few more minutes?" He asked giving her kitty eyes.
"You know those don't work on me." She said as Lazarus sighed.
"Fine, I'll see you at lunch." He said kissing her on the cheek and running off. Lazarus rammed right into Hydro making him stumble back a few steps. "My bad." Lazarus told him and Hydro scowled at him. "Well someone is grumpy." He remarked.
"Not today, Lazarus. Not today." Hydro told him and walked away form him. Lazarus put his hands up innocently and walked away not wanting to get on Hydro's bad side since he only just got on his good side. Hydro was still seething about Lauren and she was only making things worse by fighting with him every time he saw her. Andrew and Roddy were giving him crap about too since they just got Lauren as a singer for the band and now they couldn't even rehearse for the Talent Show since all the two of them do is argue. Hydro walked into his History class where he heard the usual banter between Erik and Tommy, two idiots who constantly talked about girls in the worst way possible.
"I heard she's a wild one." Erik told Tommy while Hydro went to sit in his usual seat behind them.
"Yeah? I bet. Have you seen her in the halls sometimes? Those hips and that smirk, definitely asking for it." Tommy smirked and Hydro felt bad for the poor girl they were talking about.
"She's kind of a loud mouth though." Erik commented.
"You actually listen to what she's saying?" Tommy laughed and Erik rolled his eyes.
"I'm telling ya, all that wild had to go somewhere. Her sister is a real prude from what I hear. I don't know why Derek Stanson decided to lock that down." Erik snorted and Hydro's head snapped in their direction. No…they couldn't be.
"Yeah, well it's Lauren who I'm after anyways. I'll work her whole world." Tommy grinned cockily. Hydro's fists clenched on his desk and he glared angrily at the back of their heads.
"Ha! You can have her after I shut that trap of hers with my giant—"Hydro stood up and smashed their faces together. The people in the class gasped while Erik and Tommy held their faces while blood gushed out of them.
"What the fuck is your damage, bro?" Erik exclaimed but Hydro simply picked him up by his collar before throwing him against Tommy. They both crashed into the wall and the students were all watching in shock. Water surrounded his hands and submerged their faces in water. They struggled as they tried to free their airways from the water around them. Hydro finally pulled the water away from them and they gasped and panted for oxygen.
"Listen and listen closely," Hydro gritted grabbing them by their shirts again. "Don't you ever, ever talk about Lauren Romaro like that again. Or trust me," He said water surrounding his hands again. "You will regret it." He threatened before dropping their asses on the floor.
"Mr. Storm!" The teacher shouted walking into the classroom. "Principal's Office now!" She yelled pointing to the door. Hydro huffed before grabbing his backpack and leaving the classroom. The principal threatened him with suspension, but after his explanation of the situation and the fact that this was Hydro's first offence, he benevolently gave him Saturday Detention. After that, the day ended uneventfully and while everybody else looked forward to the weekend, the people who had Saturday Detention did not.
