All the parents drove to another hotel and walked into the banquet hall where the reunion was being held. A lot of familiar faces began to talk to them and ask how their lives been going these last twenty years. A jazz band was hired for the event and performed various upbeat jazz songs and slow soft melodies. Reese was dancing slowly with Luna when he saw Ricky enter and he scowled. He spun Luna around so he didn't have to face him. However, that didn't stop Ricky from approaching them and grabbing Luna's hand.

"Let's have a dance, why don't we?" Ricky asked spinning Luna right into him causing Reese to glower at him.

"Back off my wife." Reese growled and Ricky smirked.

"I rather not, lover-boy." He told Reese holding onto Luna tighter. Luna rolled her eyes, completely fed up with the situation, and proceeded to douse Ricky in water she drew from the air. Everybody that was around them gasped loudly while looking at her.

"Oh right, you guys don't have powers." Luna mumbled cleaning up the water off the floor. Being surrounded by their super-powered friends and children, it tended to make them forget that they went to a school with people that didn't have powers.

"Do it again!" A girl shouted and Luna blushed.

"Maybe later." Luna stammered nervously before she and Reese walked away. Reese and Luna walked back towards their table, but saw a small crowd form. They pushed their way through to see Todd lifting people up in the air and gently rocking them in the air. Todd saw them and shrugged his shoulders.

"I'm just giving the people what they want." Todd smirked and Reese rolled his eyes. Reese walked back towards their table where Spark was standing and shook his head.

"You better not be a part of this." Reese told him and Spark looked offended.

"I'm offended Reese! How could you ever say that about me?" Spark asked astonished.

"Spark, do the mini fireworks again!" One girl said as she approached them with a group of people behind her. Reese sighed heavily before walking away. Shadow was shaking Static by the shoulders, trying to get him over his fears.

"Twenty goddamn years! You've done this before! Why freak out now?" Shadow shouted and Static pushed him off.

"Because it's been twenty goddamn years!" Static argued and Shadow sighed.

"What's up my fellow reunion attendees?" Rebecca asked the crowd as she walked onto the stage. Static groaned, but Knuckles and Shadow just pushed him backstage.

"It's not even my reunion!" Static complained and Sonic rolled his eyes.

"Are you ready for the band of the year?" Rebecca yelled while the crowd cheered. "Give it up for Electric Charge!" She announced while Static, Shadow, Sonic, and Knuckles took the stage.

"Uh, hey guys," Static murmured into the microphone while everybody cheered. He laughed nervously while he stood in front of a keyboard. "It's great to see you all again and um, I hope you guys enjoy." He smiled. Knuckles rolled his eyes and grabbed the microphone.

"Let's rock!" He yelled and everybody cheered wildly. Outside, some of the kids (namely Shadow, Knuckles, Sonic, and Static's children) had snuck over to the hotel to see their parents perform.

"Finally, we get to see them perform." Shade smirked while Lazarus laughed. Lazarus, Andrew, Lauren, Shawn, Bolt, and Topaz also tagged along. AJ would have gone too if he didn't already promise Amber that he would babysit with her. Static began to play the keyboard in front of him while singing into the microphone and Shadow provided backup vocals.

Tonight I'm gonna have myself a real good time

I feel alive and the world I'll turn it inside out—yeah

And floating around in ecstasy

So don't stop me now, don't stop me

'Cause I'm having a good, having a good time

Static continued to play the keyboard while Knuckles started to slam on the drums. Sonic and Shadow followed in with their guitars as the beat grew into a more fast-paced, upbeat tune. The kids' mouths dropped as they watched Electric Charge rock out. Sure, the Storm kids have heard Static sing before, but never rock out like this with the others. This was something out of legends.

I'm a shooting star leaping through the sky

Like a tiger defying the laws of gravity

I'm a racing car passing by like Lady Godiva

I'm gonna go, go, go

There's not stopping me

I'm burin' through the sky yeah

Two hundred degrees

That's why the call me Mr. Fahrenheit

I'm traveling at the speed of light

I wanna make a supersonic man out of you

Don't stop me now, I'm having such a good time

I'm having a ball

Don't stop me now

If you wanna have a good time just give me a call

Don't stop me now, 'Cause I'm having a good time

Don't stop me now, yes I'm having a good time

I don't want to stop at all

Everybody in the crowd was dancing and having a good time while Static either kept his eyes shut, focused on the keyboard, or stared at Midnight who was screaming her head off for him. Like Father, Like Son.

Yeah, I'm a rocket ship on my way to Mars

On a collision course

I am a satellite, I'm out of control

I am a sex machine ready to reload

Like an atom bomb about to

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh explode

I'm burnin' through the sky yeah

Two hundred degrees

That's why they call me Mr. Fahrenheit

I'm traveling at the speed of light

I wanna make a supersonic woman of you

Don't stop me, don't stop me

Don't stop me, hey, hey, hey

Don't stop me, don't stop me

Ooh, ooh, ooh, I like it

Don't stop me, don't stop me

Have a good time, good time

Don't stop me, don't stop me

Static sang out a high note while Shadow slid onto his knees and began a wailing guitar solo. Shade put his hands on the sides of his head as he just stared in shock. Ebony and Serenity were equally as slack-jawed, but Lazarus and Bolt were enjoying the performance and rocking along to the beat.

"This is fucking awesome!" Lazarus exclaimed while Tsunami just stared silently at her father singing his heart out and everybody love it. Andrew was also appreciating the amount of skill Knuckles had on the drums while Lauren and Topaz danced in their spots. Again, the children of Electric Charge were just stunned silent at the performance.

Oh, I'm burnin' through the sky yeah

Two hundred degrees

That's why they call me Mr. Fahrenheit

I'm traveling at the speed of light

I wanna make a supersonic man out of you

Don't stop me now I'm having such a good time

I'm having a ball

Don't stop me now

If you wanna have a good time, just give me a call

Don't stop me now, 'cause I'm having a good time

Don't stop me now, yes I'm havin' a good time

I don't want to stop at all

La da, da, da, daah

Da, da, da, haa

Ha da, da, ha, ha, haaa

Ha da, daa, ha da, da aaa

Ooh, ooh, ooh

Shadow, Sonic, and Knuckles dropped out before the last part, but Static continued to play the keyboard and sing through the la-la's. When he stopped, everybody in the crowd went wild even all the kids from their spot behind the door. Flash was so amazed by his father's performance and can't believe that he managed to pull that off without feeling any kind of anxiety—at least that's what he thought. Static smiled at the audience before his eyes narrowed towards the door.

"Kids go back to the hotel!" He shouted into the microphone while the kids all high-tailed it out of there. Some of the crowd laughed while the others continued to cheer them on having not noticed. Static got off the stage and practically collapsed on the ground. "Never again." He panted and Shadow patted him on the back.

"Don't worry. We probably will." He smirked and Static groaned. All the kids that showed up to the reunion were walking back to the hotel seeing how it wasn't that far away. Shade stopped when he spotted a convenience store.

"You guys go ahead, I'm going to grab some candy and stuff for Suzy." Shade told them and Bolt looked back at him.

"You want me to come with?" Bolt asked and Shade waved him off.

"Nah, it's fine. I'll see you back at the hotel." Shade told him. Shade ran the way to the convenience store and walked inside. He started to grab some of Suzy's favorite candies when he heard the bell to the door. He looked up and saw no one there and noticed that the cashier was gone as well. A bad feeling formed in the pit of his stomach and he ditched the candy. He was about to race out, but he fell to his knees when his speed didn't work.

"I wouldn't try that if I were you." Will grinned and Shade glared at him.

"I don't need my powers to beat your ass." Shade growled as he got back onto his feet.

"Perhaps not, but you can't do a whole lot if you're unconscious." Will told him and Shade looked at him confused. Suddenly Shade started to feel dizzy and his vision became blurry. He saw Joseph approach them and stand next to Will. He growled lightly at the sight before he passed out. Joseph rolled his eyes before Will picked Shade up off the floor and threw him over his shoulder.

"Jesus Christ, how fat is this guy?" Will huffed holding Shade.

"Cheka is outside, so relax. It's not like you're walking very far." Joseph said rolling his eyes. Will and Joseph walked out and Will dumped Shade in the trunk of the jeep that Cheka was driving.

"We got him." Cheka spoke into his phone while Will and Joseph hopped into the car.

"Good. Damian and Jared should be starting soon." Cassandra said and Cheka nodded before hanging up. He started the engine and proceeded to drive away from the convenience store. Back at the reunion, Jared and Damian were outside of the banquet hall waiting for their signal from Cassandra.

"You're good to go." Cassandra spoke through the walkie-talkie on Damian's hip. Jared smirked before flipping the lights off of the banquet hall. Screams could be heard before Damian and Jared stormed into the room with gas masks. Suzy was holding Alena while Ivy surfed through channels looking for something decent to watch. Flash eventually walked back into the room and Suzy looked over to him confused.

"Where's Shade?" She asked.

"He stopped by a store on the way back. He's picking you up some snacks." Flash told her while he sat down next to Ivy. Something didn't sit right with Suzy and she pulled out her phone to call him. However before she could, there was a knock on the door.

"That's probably room service." Suzy said before passing Alena over to Ivy. She opened the door and saw that no one was there. She peeked her head out and looked both ways of the hallway and still saw no one. She was about to walk back in when she saw a piece of paper on the ground. She picked it up and what she read made her fall to her knees.

"Suzy? What's wrong?" Ivy asked while Flash rushed over to her.

"T-they got-t them." Suzy stuttered and Flash looked at her confused.

"Who got what?" He asked confused and Suzy glared down at the piece of paper before shooting back up onto her feet.

"Those assholes got our parents!" She yelled.
