"That one eyed bastard!" Natsu growled as he sprinted to the guild hall at a furious speed.
Behind him were the equally angry and scared Team Natus and Odd jobs, with Kyubei and Jellal following along with them, the sounds of their heavy footsteps taped on the neatly bricked walkways as they approached the sounds of what appeared to be a war zone of gun fire.
"It sounds like a shoot out!" Huffed out Shinpachi "You don't think Takasugi-"
"There's no doubt about it." Kagura answered the question before the weaker samurai asked. "It's my idiot brother and his army of Yato."
"Yato?" Lucy breathed out. "So they're the same race as Kagura?"
"Only difference is, these guys are full grown adults." Gintoki spoke. "They can be just as big as Elf Man if they wanted to."
"So we're in for a fight then?" Erza asked them. "But that means the others..."
"I wouldn't worry about them, Erza." Jallel stated. "Remember, this is Fairy Tail we're talking about."
After another minute of the bullet storm, the guild, or what's left of it, was completely riddled with bullet holes and broken windows, how the building was still standing was beyond them.
"Ha, it's too bad there's no magic to protect bullet wounds." Kamui said to himself, blowing away the smoke from his umbrella like gun.
"You think they be a bit more careful about looking after the place, we killed them without even engaging in an all out fight." The man next to him mentioned in disappointment.
"Who cares, it doesn't look like any Dragon Slayers are here, or if their were, they be dead, perhaps I got carried away again." Kamui sighed. "Oh well, we better head back to the ship and report to Taka-chan." Kamui was dead wrong on that claim however.
"Using something as cold blooded as an all out attack to annihilate our Family, huh, sunny?"
Kamui's now bewild face looked upwards as he saw every single Fairy Tail member on the rooftops of the buildings to the right of them, they looked confident, but boy were they aching for a fight now.
"We knew you guys were coming and decided to take precautions, it turns out that was a good idea on my part." Makarov announced as he sitting Indian style on a ledge, looking down on the army.
"But... how did...?" Kamui grumbled in frustration, wanting an answer.
"You can thank us for that!" That was when he heard the voice of a self proclaimed gorilla on the other side, he spon around the opposite way and to the left he saw the three Shinsengumi law man Hijikata, Sougo and Kondo, along with Tuskyuo and her female guards, standing at the ledge looking at them down on the city streets.
"After the Black Mist Guild got destroyed, we went through some of the papers Ito was writing while he was in charge." Kondo explained to the blood thirsty alien. "So we knew exactly what you were planning in case things went south for you."
"It was just like the Sabertooth guild along with the others, you sprayed bullets on their main hall like it was nothing and fought them all while they were stunned" Hijikata said with a cigarette in between his lips.
"Too bad for you though, we decided to surprised you dumbasses first." Tuskyuo taunted while equipping one of her many Kunai.
But suddenly Kamui's stressed out look turned into his fun minded and violent expression, his cold grin and closed, cheerful eyes making a return.
"Very clever for a bunch of wimpy Fairies, perhaps we underestimated your intelligence." Kamul's eyes narrowed as he started to get excited, his Yato fighting spirit showing up again. "But do you think your so called "family" is going to be a match for us?"
A roar a thunder could be heard at the end of his sentence, cloud cover started roaring into the sky as a storm was fast approaching.
"Will just see about that..." Makarov replied.
It took a couple of seconds of complete silence to have rain starting to come down, and with the second lighting strike hitting the ground, the fighting began.
"Go my children! Show them what happens when you go up against Fairy Tail!" Makarov pointed down at them and the guild members jumped back onto the street, ready to battle.
"Come on men, let's give them our assistance!" Kondo order, taking his sword out of his holdster, with both of his comrades replying with "Yes sir!" And jumping down to the fight.
"You know who the enemies are, let's show them what we're capable of!" Tuskyuo demanded which all of the girls proceeded to join in on the fight.
"Takasugi-sama!" One of his recruits said as he ran out into the balcony. "Will be landing in Flore in just a couple of minutes!"
"Splendid." The grin on takasugi's face and his constant stare at the dark grey katana was enough to tell that he was ready to cut some enemies down. "I already have the magic DNA of Sting, Rough and Natsu, I just need two more, and then-" he was taken out on his words when he felt the ship rock around from some sort of force.
"Takasugi-sama!" Another rebel member called out on the loud speaker. "There appears to be some sort of army down at the shore attacking the ship!"
"It's the Royal Gurad I presume." Zeref predicted. "They also have Mage's with them, but nothing that new sword can't handle."
"I'll have to trust your word for it." Takasugi turned around and started walking back inside. "Don't get yourself blown up, you piece of shit mage."
"That's was rather harsh, now wasn't it?" Zeref asked in his calming yet scary tone of voice.
"You're right, my apologies, your voice just reminds me of some annoying idiot I used to fight with." The rouge samurai added as he entered the ship.
Back outside the guild, the sounds of punching, kicking, bones breaking, magic spells casting and painful screams could be heard, surprisingly, around a dozen Yato were down for the count, while most of them were still looking good enough to fight, some of them looked very wounded, this is due to the Yato being better at close range combat, Wizards usually us their arcane abilities from a distance, not to mention most of Fairy Tail were good unarmed fighters to begin with, that being said however, the Yato still had the stronger and more durable advantage, once they saw an opening or a slip up from the opposite party, they sure as hell will come at them with full force, this seemed to be working as about two dozen Fairy Tail members and Yoshigawa guards were down on the floor.
Mirajean, along with her siblings, Lisanna and Elfman were fending off against a couple of Yato, and it wasn't an easy job, even with the two of them.
Mirajean, who was currently in her She Devil form, charged at one of the Yato with a heavy punch to the jaw, her fist colliding with the man's face, but the man only chuckled and grabbed the women's arm and attempted to slam her into the ground, but Mirajean wasn't has light as he though, the take over mage grabbed the meaty hands of the alien burte and instead swung him over her head, slamming the man onto the cold, hard floor, rendering him unconscious.
Lisanna however was having a bit of trouble, she was in her cat form, dodging and weaving fast jabs from the opponent she was facing, she was panting and started to feel a bit sweaty.
'Dammit, my body is getting tired, I'll end up getting hit if I don't do something...' it was at that moment she saw a fast moving arm coming towards her, ready to crash into the side of her face, she got ready to block it, knowing it'll caused some major damage to her.
But then his arm got hit with one, two, three kunai's thrown by Tuskyuo, which stopped the man's attacking in its place, Lisanna took the opportunity and jumped on the man's wrist, clawing him straight in the face with her large, cat like nails, stunning the larger male.
"Lisanna, move it!" Gajeel warned as a ever extending steel pillar smashed the pour souls head, sending him backwards onto the ground.
But then he got grabbed by the his hard pole (no pun intended) by another fighter and got forced into a building, hitting the brick wall hard, Gajeel heard some his bones break and blood coming out of his mouth and nose on the impact.
But the guy then got roundhoused in the side of his head by Gajeels muscular cat companion, Lily.
"Are you alright, Gajeel?" Lily asked his master.
"B-behind you Lily!"
The cat was then suddenly grabbed into a full nelson by another Yato, Lily tried to pull away but the harsh grip was too much for him, he could feel his arms and shoulders ready to break and about to become dislocated.
That was until several small explosions hit the man on his back, causing him to lose his grasps and fall over onto the ground.
Lily glanced to see Cana, who had more cards in her left, and hand she threw the previous set pointing towards him, she then heard a fearsome battle cry coming from another Yato, this on was fast and had his massive fist out, ready to smash into the Card wizards face, he was to quick and Cana wouldn't have the time to dodge, so she crossed her wrist together, ready to block it with all of her might.
But then heard the noises of someone getting stabbed, she moved her arms out of the way and found Hijikata, who had his sword penetrated straight through the Yato's arm, making blood drip from the wound and having his arm only a few inches away from her arms.
"Mind helping me out here, Miss...?" Hijikata asked which Cana knew what he meant, she got another card out of her bag and threw it at the Yato, and with a magic flash, the brute was gone, and in his place was a card with the image of a injured Yato on it.
"Not what I was going for, but that works too I guess." Hijikata said as he looked down at the slip of paper.
Meanwhile with the others, Tuskyuo and her reinforcements were dealing with as many enemy soldiers as they can, throw their Kunai's and using their swords if they got too close.
"This is getting too hairy..." Tuskyuo told herself. "There just beyond our level of strength..."
"Captain! We're getting overrun-" one of her guards warned before they got blind sided, she looked over to see two more of Kamui's men approached her, Tsukyuo got more of her knifes out as she was ready for an all out fight.
"Pardon me, youngster's" The voice of Makarov said before bash two Yato's heads together in his brute form, knocking them clean out.
"But it's not fair for a pretty women like yourself to fight on her own against an army of ruthless alien's." Tuskyuo grinned at his actions.
"Thanks old timer." She said the Grand Master.
"Don't mention it." Makarov replied. "Now mind helping me with these pest? I'm sure you girls can handle it with me around."
"As long as you can keep up." Tsukyuo saw more Yato move in on them.
At another part of the battlefield, Kamui was taking down as many Mage's left to right, anyone who dare try to attack him.
"Ha, This is starting to get boring..." He said while pounding some pour guild members face into the ground.
"Then why don't you take on a real fight?" The voice of Laxus called out to him as dragged some unconscious Yato in his hands, "From what I was hearing, you must be the commander of this army."he dropped the two men on the ground.
Kamui examined Laxus with a look of intrigue. 'Blonde hair, lightning magic, is that...?' Kamui grinned.
"I got something to ask you." The younger Yato uttered out.
"Oh? And what's that?"
"You're the Lightning Dragon Slayer Laxus, am I correct?"
"Yes, what's it to you?"
"Oh." Kamui snapped his fingers and the two men stood up quick and grabbed Laxus by both arms, the Dragon Slayers eyes lit up in surprise.
"W-what the hell?" Laxus growled. "Get off of me, bastards!"
"We will." Kamui then shot something from his umbrella with hit Laxus on his neck, The blonde haired wizard looked down to see a tranquilizer on his chest, he felt himself becoming suddenly tired and exhausted before passing out.
"You're the reason why we came after all." Kamui said. "Tell everyone we're retreating, we got what we came for." He then jumped and climbed up on of the building, before reaching the top and giving them another order. "Take him back to the ship."
"And what are you going to do, Kamui-sama?" The soldier asked.
"I'm going dragon hunting." He replied before leaving.
With that, the yato started to retreat, minus the unconscious one, running with most of them injured, with the Fairy Tail Wizards watching in confusion, they saw that themselves weren't doing too good as well, with most of them injured or unconscious with the red haired men.
However, one of them was crawling away, he couldn't walk due to his heavy wounds, he was then stopped by having both of his hands stabbed by two Katana's.
"Hey, we got a live on over here!" Sougo called out to everyone, leaning on his sword from the left side.
"You're not going anywhere, asshole." Kondo said as the other members approached around them.
"You have some questions to answer, boy." Makarov cracked his fingers and neck. "Why did you attack us? What's this Takasugi person planning?"
"Master!" Evergreen ran over to her with a terrified expression. "I-I can't find Laxus anywhere!"
"What?" Makarov then heard the helpless Yato chuckled.
"So they managed to take him after all..." he said. "So this attack wasn't a failure-dah!" He grunted when he felt Makarov's heavy foot slam against the top of his skull.
"Where is he?" Makarov demanded an answer. "Where is my grandson!?"
Team Natsu and Odd jobs could tell they were getting close.
"Come on! We're almost there!" Erza told them.
"I hope they're okay, Yato are pretty serious fighters!" Shinpachi had a nervous tone in his voice.
That's when they felt a sudden blast of wind going right past them in the opposite direction, they all stop and looked behind them, but they immediately made a horrific expression at what they saw.
It was Kamui, who had Wendy lifted up by her neck, the small girl straggled and tried to push his hand off, but he was far to stronge, he grinned and turned to the others in the group.
"I was hoping for the steel one, but I suppose this one will do."
"Wendy!" Carla flow at Kamui but she was quickly backhanded and send hurtling back at the group.
"You bastard!" Natsu said as his magic caused him to be sat on fire.
"Let her go right now!" Kagura warned as she got ready to fight her brother once again.
"Always one to argue with your older bro." Kamui sighed. "Unfortunately, I can't deal with you morons at the moment."
"You better tell me what me what that bastard is planning." Gintoki said as he got in front of both Natsu and Kagura. "He obviously wants Dragon Slayers for some reason."
"Well, he'll be invisible anyway, so I guess it's only fair to tell you now." Kamui started to explain. "While we were traveling around in space, Taka-chan for some odd reason wanted to come to this planet, when I asked him, he said he may have found a way to defeat you, so we searched for that thing, it was fun though, I think we destroyed a dozen of Guilds until we decided to settle down in that little town, that is until this funny looking guy came along and found Taka-chan, he said he could fulfill his wish with an agent artifact, a black Katana of some sort, but it needed some sort of magic for it to work, so we needed to lead some over here."
"And that's when you found that four eye creep, Ito." Gray added.
"Correct!" Kamui said before continuing on. "To our surprise, we actually found him trying to start his own little gang, Taka-chan was surprised to find him still breathing, and the man that was helping us gave him the dark magic he needed, it was a good scapegoat to have why we were out finding more dragon slayers."
"And that's when Sabertooth..." Lucy breathed out.
"They were one of the guilds we attacked." Kamui answered Lucy. "So they send their best wizards in retaliation, that's when Ito-chan decided to have them as Black Mist's new "Strongest Members", we also had that girl Casey go around all of the country to go and plant job fliers, saying that a dark guild was terrorizing the town, and no one could resist the type of money we were offering, what he didn't expect was for Shiroyasha and his little pets to be here."
"And that's why that scumbag, Takasugi attacked Natsu like that." Erza stated.
"So that's why we were send here... but how...?" Shinpachi asked him.
"I'm not really sure myself." Kamui stated. "Now, listen up morons, if you want your friend back." Wendy was sweating and struggling to breathe. "If you want your friend back, you'll meet Takasugi at the shore, he wants to settle things once and for all."
"Just like that bastard, he won't even bother coming out himself?" Gintoki asked. "But let me ask you something now, who is this guy? Who's dumb enough to help a criminal like Takasugi?"
"Oh, his name sounded weird, Zeref I believe his name was."
Gintoki then felt a sudden pain in his head, he held his forehead as he's hit with flashback of the war, with a shadowy figure stand in the middle of dead corpses.
"Gin-San!" Lucy went over to him. "Are you alright?"
Gintoki made a face of frustration as the pain in his head continued.
"Figures Zeref is behind this." Jellal said. "Release Wendy at once!"
"Sorry, but I don't answer to bugs." Kamui then threw something on the ground, a smoke bomb, the large cloud consumed them all and covered their eyes.
Once the smoke finally cleared up, both Kamui and Wendy disappeared.
"That bastard..." Natsu growled.
"He took her..."
