"Will you train me to fight?" I asked. At first he had looked surprised then he looked upset and now he was angry.

"You won't fight so don't worry about it."

"Embry Call, I don't think it's up to you if I fight or not." I spoke.

"No you are right it's up to Sam, which some way I'll convince him to make sure you don't fight, if that's what I have to do."

"Why won't you let me fight?" I asked standing up in front of him.

"Because I don't want you to,"

"Well news flash Embry Call, you don't control me. I will have someone else train me without you knowing if that's what it takes. You just watch me!" He quickly rises from the couch and steps in front of me.

"You will not!"

"You don't control me! I'm not your puppet!"

"I'm not controlling you, I'm protecting you…"

"Yeah, well I can handle myself, thank you very much!" I left the building slamming the door behind me. I quickly phased, as it was easy to do since I was pissed off.

I headed to Sam's and grabbed a pair of some extra clothes that someone had laid on the porch for me. Once dressed I walked in and slammed the door shut.

"Pissy are we?" Paul asked.

"Shut it Lahote!" I spoke, shaking slightly.

"Is Embry not pleasing you enough, Steph?" He snickered. I growled.

"He won't train me to fight!" He frowned at the way I avoided his question and didn't have a response or action to it.

"I'll train you…" He shrugs.

"Really!?" I asked my spirit suddenly jumped up.

"Yeah, sure, we just have to ask Sam…"

"Sam!" I exclaimed.

"Yes Stephanie?" He replied

"Can Paul train me?"

"I don't see why not… Paul, take it easy on her." I jumped up, grabbed Paul's hand and dragged him out the door. I shifted and watched him.

~Okay, I'm just going to fight with you, easiest way of teaching, just to learn on your own….I'll be easy…maybe~ He smirks and runs after me.

I block easily, and don't watch where he is going… he attacks from behind, pushing me against a rock, I can feel some blood running down, I ignore it. I growl in response and lunge at him. We go back and forth tackling each other… Paul had gotten a little too into it, when he ran me into a rock, my head in sudden pain. I whined and shifted back automatically.

"What happened?" Sam ran out instantly, he placed a towel around me and covered me.

"We were practicing and I may have accidently pushed her too hard and she fell and hit her head." Paul replied.

"You better get Embry…" He suggested

"Paul! What the hell!?" I looked at Embry to find him shaking with anger. His eyes squint and he was about to shift.

"Too late," Sam muttered. I growled.

"I didn't do anything!" Paul exclaimed.

"It's my fault Embry. Now drop it!" Embry stopped at sound of my voice; finally turning his full attention to me. He stepped closer and cupped his hands around my face carefully.

"Are you okay?" He spoke those words then it was impossible to be mad at him, maybe it was the imprint but his eyes had said it all. He was sorry, for everything, and I would take it until he spoke the words.

"I'm fine babe..." I trailed off. He kissed my sweetly, and the guys all reacted like a bunch of fifth graders. 'Get a room!' 'Gross!' It actually made me smile, and I was happy.

Embry pulled away and frowned, "come on we need to go get you doctored up." I sighed and nodded in response, as he took my hand leading me into the bathroom door, retrieving the emergency aid kit. He sat the kit down, picked me up placing me next it as he grabbed a wet washcloth. He began wiping the washcloth across my forehead slowly and carefully, making sure he didn't cause me any pain. I began to lose it as he placed the anti bacterial on my gash.

"Can we please take you to the hospital?"

"Embry, it is a small gash and its already healing it would be ridiculous to take me to the hospital."

"Fine" he sighed then started to clean up. I wrapped my legs around him with a smile.

"Thank you doctor," I smiled, giving him a small kiss on his lips. He smiled back and gave me another kiss in return but this one was longer and much more emotion was added.

"From now on, I will train you. You won't listen anyway…" he takes a deep breath, pulling away from our kiss. He places his forehead on mine, and we stayed there quietly, not speaking a single word to each other. There was a small knock at the door and we both moved away from each other. I unwrapped my legs from his torso, allowing him to open the door. I watched him as each back muscle he had move, I bit my lip and couldn't help but grin. He was in a way… well perfect and I loved him.

"Are you okay?" Paul I asked, I jumped surprised turned to him. Maybe I was distracted just a little, okay maybe a lot.

I smiled softly and looked at Paul so he could tell I wasn't lying, "I'm fine, really. Sorry for dragging you into all of that, I was just a little upset with Embry; he said he will train me now so I guess I'll see you around?"

"Yeah, see you later. Embry, Sam wants to speak to you. Alone." I frowned; he was indicating I wasn't allowed. I thought we were a pack and now I just felt even more out of the circle. I began walking around not sure what to do.

Embry was gone for only a few minutes, thirty at most. To be honest I wasn't really sure how long he was gone, I was too distracted. My mind was going crazy, what if my phasing was going to destroy my vampire side and I wouldn't become a problem or what if my vampire gene was now fighting back with my shifter gene and I was now becoming more of a vampire than anything. I frowned, me, a vampire; even the thought made me shiver. I groaned at all these sudden thoughts taking over my mind; I was going insane.

"Stephanie!" I jumped as the voice boomed out of nowhere. As I turned to look at the source I see Embry.

I smiled softly, "sorry, I got distracted. I have too many thoughts." I let out a deep sigh; Embry wrapped his arms around me nuzzling his face into my neck softly leaving kisses.

"I'm sorry Stephanie…" he whispered.
