"Where have you been?" Mycroft asked as walking into the living room.

"Who's really asking, you or Sherlock?" I asked hanging up my jacket.

"We're both worried about you Stef-"

"Scarlett or Diane. Doesn't really matter what you call me, but it's not Stefani. Not any more." I looked my oldest brother in the eye.

"Why?"

"If my brother doesn't want me near him than I want nothing to remind me of him."

"That's ridiculous. Changing your name isn't going to change the fact that you're still related to me, Stef." Sherlock said walking out of his bedroom. "How is he? Does he treat you well?" He slouched in his chair.

"I thought you didn't care."

"You seem to be spending a lot of time with him. I'm just making sure that he's taking care of you, that he makes you happy." Sherlock said not looking up from the newspaper.

"You're the detective, you tell me."

"Would you two stop acting like children and start being adults!" Mycroft yelled.

"Hey Stef, we're going to be late." A male voice said from downstairs. "Is everything okay up there?"

"Stupid." Sherlock said in a hushed tone after taking a closer look at me. "Of course he's here. His house or his parents?" He asked standing from his chair. "Are you-"

"Don't finished that sentence. I will hurt you if you do." I grunted.

Sherlock smirked. "What's his name?" He asked heading for the stairs.

"Sherlock!" I ran after him only for him to dart down the stairs, shaking hands with Christopher.

"I'm Sherlock, but please, come up stairs and make yourself comfortable. It'll take Stef a moment to get ready."

"Christopher," Sherlock tried to force him up stairs. "But I can't, we're late for our reservations. We really need to be going."

"Yes, of course." Sherlock said as I walked past him. "We'll have to get together sometime then. I would like to know the man in my sister's life."

"We'll see what we can do." Christopher said as he and I walked out the door.

"Sorry about that. I honestly didn't think he'd be home." I said breaking the silence.

"No worries. Let's just enjoy dinner and then we can go to my place and plug in a movie." He took my hand and kissed it.

"Okay." I smiled.

"Why are we spying on your sister?" John asked laying down the menu.

"What? N-No, we not. We're here on a case John, I told you that." Sherlock stumbled focusing on his menu.

"You're a terrible liar when it comes to your sister Sherlock." Sherlock laid his menu down. "Who is he?"

"Boyfriend, Christopher John Turing, he goes to the same college Stef is at and works a the café under the flat." Sherlock said staring at his sister who was smiling and laughing at whatever Christopher said.

"She looks happy." John replied.

"She's not."

"Sherlock Holmes, you're jealous." John smiled. "I didn't think it would be possible."

"No I'm not."

"It irritates you that someone is making her happy and that someone isn't you." John said. "She's not always going to need you Sherlock."

"No one can protect her like I can."

"What are you not telling me, Sherlock."

"What are you talking about?"

"You may be a difficult man to figure out Sherlock Holmes but you've never been this protective of her. What's changed?"

"The rules dear Watson. The rules have changed."

"Meaning?"

"I don't think Christopher is who he says he it." Sherlock said. "Where'd she go?"

"I already looked into it you know." I said sitting myself at the table. "Do you really think I wasn't going to notice?"

"Looked into what?" Sherlock asked picking up his menu once again.

"You're not going to order anything and you've picked up that menu fours times already so put it down and listen to me." I grunted. "There is nothing going on with Chris and don't try planted anything against him to make me think other wise. He is exactly who he says he is and I trust him." I stood from the table. "You did this to yourself Sherlock. I see you in the morning. One more thing, don't follow me." I patted his shoulder as I walked out of the restaurant with Chris.

Sherlock stood from the table.

"Where are you going?" John asked.

"Home. It's clear that she doesn't need me."
