Frisk was walking down in Snowdin, after the non-encounter with Toriel. All the non-boss monsters were there to be killed, and she killed them. There was Sans presenting Papyrus's puzzles... but Papyrus himself wasn't there. She shrugged internally. If he wasn't there, so what?
Papyrus was heading for Undyne's so that they could meet up with Alphys and Mettaton. Alphys had given Mettaton's NEO form some attacks, so they could be ready for when she came to the Final Corridor. The timelines had been reset once too many times and Sans had finally been able to convince the others that the parallel timelines were real and that Frisk was just resetting for entertainment. They were going to discuss what would happen when they killed Frisk and took her soul to destroy the barrier. Papyrus himself could remember timelines of them getting to the surface with her help in SAVING Asriel and breaking the barrier... only to reset. They wanted to kill her and take her soul so that that could never happen again.
Yup so this is the second chapter i know that they are kinda short right now but i really just need some more background.
