Danny's point of view:
"We should get Valerie first, then I'll train," I say.
"I should go get her," Star says.
"I want to go with you," I say. I need her to see me for who I am so she won't attack me. I turn back to look at Mr. Lancer. "We'll be back shortly." I grab Star and phase through the roof, flying towards Valerie' s apartment.
Star's point of view:
We had stopped in an ally a few minutes away from Valerie' s apartment so Danny could change forms, now I'm knocking on Valerie' s apartment door. I really hope that she'll help us and not hurt Danny even more than he already is.
"Who is it?" She asks from the other side of the door.
"Star and Danny!" Danny calls out.
"I'll be out in a second!" There's some crashing sounds and she walks out. "What are you two doing here?"
"We need your help," Danny says.
"My help? With what?"
"We know you're the Red Huntress. We need to save Dani! But you need to know something first. I'm Phantom."
"What?"
"Please just work with me here! Dani and Vlad really need our help!"
"Why would I help you or Vlad?"
"Because there is a new enemy out there! Vlad is a good guy now! He tried to help me!"
"Help you from what? Who's the new enemy? I'll be sure to thank him for getting rid of one of the worst creatures on the planet!"
"You hate ghosts, I know, but why would you thank the guy that murdered Tucker, Sam, Jazz, and mom? He has Dani trapped as well! Please? I really need your help, please..." he falls to his knees, crying.
"Fine, I'll help, but not for you, for Dani."
"Thank you." He changes forms and grabs me. "Follow us," he says and flies outside. He waits on Valerie before going to Mr. Lancer' s house.
Valerie' s point of view:
Danny's dad killed so many people? I thought that Jazz was at college and that Maddie was at a science convention. Wait, she would have brought Jack with her if she was at a science convention and didn't they say that Jazz went to Yale? She had an acceptance letter to Harvard, she told the entire school about it. She would have gone there, not Yale. I guess Phantom, err, Danny can be trusted. I won't forgive him for what he's done, but maybe I can forget about it long enough to help Dani. Then we'll go back to being enemies. He ruined my life, but I can help Dani and perhaps I can leave Danny alone until he heals and his dad is behind bars.
Danny's point of view:
We're almost done explaining the plan to Valerie when my Ghost Sense goes off.
"Oh no..."
