When Danny is depressed, who will help him? Sam and Tucker are dead and Jazz is in college, so they're out of the question. His parents just want to rip one half of him apart molecule by molecule, so they're out, too. I guess Mr. Lancer will have to take the job! Danny/ Lancer friendship. The first chapter doesn't seem good, but you'll figure out the reasoning behind it soon enough

16. Wulf

Danny's point of view:

I look over at Valerie. "Ghost attack," I say.

Valerie' s point of view:

I watch Danny go intangible and fly out of the roof. I go through the door to go help him fight the ghost. I actually trust him. I actually trust a ghost, but I guess he's not the first ghost that I trust, is he? I watch as he talks to a big wolf like ghost. I can't understand what they're talking about, though. They're speaking in another language. Spanish? No. I've never heard anything like this. Maybe it's a dead language. I guess that's possible since they are ghosts, but how old would that make Danny? Is he older than I thought that he was? He turns towards me with a small smile. I haven't seen that in forever.

"This is Wulf. He said that Clockwork sent him to help us. Our plan could work and nobody would have to get hurt." Wulf? We head back in and Danny explains that Wulf can make portals, we might not even have to see Jack to free Dani and Vlad. Why am I even helping them, though? I don't like Vlad and I don't like Danny Phantom, but I guess I do like Danny Fenton. I feel bad for hunting him, but that's not the entire reason I'm helping them, it's part of it, but not all of it. I like Danny. I think that I always have. And I like Dani. She's ok for a ghost. I guess she's not really a ghost, though. She, and Vlad and Danny, are humans. It's ok for me to like Dani and Danny and hate Vlad because there are some people that I hate and some that I like. I guess not all ghosts are bad, either. Wulf hasn't tried to attack me yet and I don't think that he's going to. Maybe I should try to give them a chance, but as soon as someone turns against me or does something that I don't like, they are going down.

' s point of view:

I watch as my student talks to the ghost. Teleporting? Never even having to see Jack when we rescue Danny's friends? I don't want to crush the boy's spirits, but there is no way that we could avoid Jack. The man's crazy now, he'll probably be protecting the lab to trap Danny when he gets back. Maybe we can get him help. He really needs it if he's hurt his own son, if he'd kill his family, just because Danny was part ghost.

"We'll train for a week, then we'll save them," Danny announces.
