So, this chapter is exceptionally long, however it does touch base, well more like smashed right through it, by doing something that I'm not sure how you will react to. Let me know what you guys think, and if the reaction is bad enough I may re-write it.

Chapter 18

Four weeks later…

"Hurry up, Asuna! Gwen, Louise, and I need to get back to training," shouted Saito, in annoyance at his friends' slowness.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I was getting some fruit for Chichi," said Asuna, trying to stop Saito from yelling at her.

"Finally! Alright, love, let's go to Asuna's house for the check-up," said Saito. Louise nodded and turned to open a World Door before they were interrupted.

"Saito!" shouted Guiche as he ran over to them, accompanied by Malicorne and Montmorency.

"What is it Guiche?" asked Saito, a bit confused by the flustered and frightened look on his face.

"We…*pant* We just…*pant* One sec…" said Guiche, panting from his apparently intense run over to them. Montmorency rolled her eyes at her friend/boyfriend/whatever the hell he was and spoke out for him.

"Saito! Agnes just informed us that the spies the elves set up to watch the Valkyrie have seen large armies heading towards us! They said they'll hit the eastern border, near the elf's border, in a week!" shouted Montmorency in panic. Saito's eyes went so wide you'd swear his eyeballs would pop out.

"We need to tell your mom NOW, Asuna! You aren't going to see her for awhile. Guiche, tell Agnes that Henrietta needs to inform all Halkeginian nations. Tell them to mount the new cannons and stock up on the new guns that Mr. Colbert has been designing. Also tell her to contact the elves to send Tiffa back and get the gnomes and fairies help. We're gonna need all the help we can get for this war," commanded Saito. Guiche and his two companions nodded and ran off before Saito turned around and asked Louise to open the World Door again. The 4 ran through and ran into Asuna's house.

"MOM!" shouted Asuna after they hastily entered the house.

"Asuna? What's wrong?" asked Asuna's mother as she walked in, cleaning off her hands with a towel.

"M-Mom…ummm…I can't be here very long, but I'm here to tell you that I'm not going to be able to visit for awhile," said Asuna, sheepishly. She was not at all thrilled to tell her mother she was about to participate in a full scale war that she is highly unlikely to come out from unscathed.

"Is it because of that thing that Saito said you were called for?" asked Asuna's mother, an expression of worry plastered on her face. Asuna nodded and her mother walked up to her and held her hand. "What is it, dear?"

"War," said Saito, bluntly. Asuna's mother's eyes widened and she looked between Saito and Asuna, the latter of which was shrinking down.

"W-War? B-But, honey, even with your powers, war is too much for you. What if you get hurt?" asked Asuna's mother in a panic.

"U-Umm…Ma'am…I have gotten really good at healing magic and Asuna's will be with me the whole time, so if she gets hurt I can heal her. Plus, she has her speed healing ability that she absorbed from the spiny mouse from your world. Also, she's really strong, I can't even compare and I can use magic," said Gwen, sheepishly. Asuna's mother looked at her daughter's partner and thought about what she said. Asuna's mother sighed in defeat, knowing she can't keep her daughter from going. She hugged Asuna tightly and spoke.

"I know I can't stop you, and I know that you're strong enough to take care of yourself, but no matter how strong you are, or how old you get to be, you'll always be my little girl who always asked for my help. I love you, Asuna. Please be careful, my little girl," said Asuna's mother, lovingly. Asuna's tears flowed free along with her mother's and they hugged, tightly. Asuna whispered an almost inaudible 'I love you, too, mom' and the two remained like that for awhile.

The four companions returned to Halkeginia and Louise and Saito went straight to the castle, which was a complete disaster. Everyone was running amuck, servants carrying messages to and from Queen's office, generals and lieutenants running around from all the war rooms, just utter chaos.

They arrived at Henrietta's room to find her speaking to Cardinal Mazarin and the two looked up at them as they entered.

"Saito! Louise! I'm so glad you're here," said Henrietta as she leapt up from the chair and ran over to them.

"How go the preparations?" asked Louise, seriously.

"We did as Saito instructed. Tiffa will be here by tomorrow and we've been communicating with all the nations. They have begun mounting and manufacturing the weapons you and Mr. Colbert developed and we also prepared the Zero fighter and some other weapons," said Henrietta, a bit flustered by all the happenings. It had been a few hours since they were informed so there had been ample time to perform all the tasks Saito entrusted her.

"Good, I have some other suggestions, but I need to know how many troops we have available including dragons and ships. We need to plan this as well as we can. The Valkyrie specialize in magic tools so they could have things with similar destructive power to Joseph's flame orbs," said Saito, a shiver running up his spine as he thought about those explosives.

"We already have our generals collaborating with those of the other countries to plan out strategies, though you can give input if you would like, Saito," said Henrietta with a stressed expression. From one war to another, there just doesn't seem to be any breaks.

"Good, Louise and I will be going to the house to get supplies ready. We'll also inform the Ondine Knights so Guiche and the rest can prepare," said Saito before he and Louise began to leave. "Also, Henrietta, don't strain yourself too much. Let Louise and I help you."

Henrietta smiled at him and said, "Thank you, Saito. I'll try to remember that."

Louise and Saito made their way inside of their home and were quickly greeted by Siesta.

"Saito! Miss Vallière! What has been going on? The villagers have been saying that the Valkyrie are on their way," said Siesta, a bit panicked.

"They are. We're going to prepare. They are coming in a week and all hell is going to break loose the second they hit the borders," said Saito, seriously. Siesta looked at him with a worried expression as if you could almost feel the stress emanating off Saito. Even Henrietta wasn't as stressed as Saito is now.

"Saito, you are too stressed. There is enough time to prepare and there is no way you will lose. Just relax, it isn't good for you," said Siesta, worriedly. Louise, who was also worried, stood off to Saito's side, trying to think of the most effective way of calming him down.

"I'm not stressed, Siesta. Don't worry about me, worry about keeping the villagers calm," said Saito as he began to walk up stairs to the study next to Saito and Louise's bedroom.

"Saito, she's right, you know," said Louise after grabbing Saito's hand. Saito growled in annoyance at Louise taking Siesta's side and walked faster upstairs, removing his hand from Louise's grasp. Saito must have been really stressed to be avoiding Louise's affections. He loved holding her hand and having her close. "Saito, don't ignore me!"

"Louise, please! I love you, but I'm stressed as hell right now. My ex-best friend is helping to lead an army of unimaginable size towards my new home to attack us. My friends, my loved ones, my wife. I don't even know if I can protect them because my powers as Gandalfr could be useless if the Valkyrie's technology is advanced enough. On top of even that, Ivarod, at any moment, could attack Tokyo and hurt my friends and family there and kill a lot more people than here because my world can't handle magic," shouted Saito, in anger. Louise stood there and took all his rants, Siesta standing a few steps down, hoping to help.

Saito was panting at this point from all his shouting and glared at the two girls in from of him. Louise and Siesta glanced at each other and Louise walked up to Saito, slowly.

"Saito," she cooed, soothingly. "You aren't alone, rely on us, let us be your supports."

Saito's breathing calmed a bit as he felt his wife's hand caress his cheek as she spoke. He placed his hand on hers and they looked into each other's eyes.

"Okay," Saito breathed out, finally feeling the exhaustion of being so stressed for so long. Siesta came up to the two and looked at Saito with worry still lingering in her eyes. Louise looked at her husband and frowned at the stress still lingering in his eyes. She sighed in annoyance at him not listening to her and began walking downstairs.

"Saito, can we sit down and talk in the parlor?" asked Louise as she continued to walk, not turning around. Saito looked at his wife's back as she walked away and was followed by Siesta who was a bit confused by the situation. Saito decided to follow his wife and followed her to the parlor.

When he entered, Louise was sitting on one of the seats, staring at the fireplace with a blank expression. Saito moved to the chair that was next to hers and fell down into it with a thump. He waited for Louise to start but she continued to stare, blankly, into space until she finally sighed in annoyance.

"Saito…I'm worried about you, more so than you think I am," said Louise with sad eyes as she gazed at Saito. He frowned at the sad look in his wife's eyes and reached for her hand but she shook her head. "Saito…your current situation is similar to my uncle's. My father told me the story about him around a year before I met you."

"You have an uncle? How come I never met him?" asked Saito, bluntly.

"I had an uncle. He died a long time ago, though," said Louise, a bit indifferent. "I never met my uncle, he died long before I was born and before my father even met my mother. Originally, he was going to become the leader of the Vallière household, but when he died, my father took over. At the time before his death, a small war broke out near the Vallière lands with some neighboring families. It wasn't a large or important war like the coming one, just a small scale war brought about by conflicts. The Vallière household had to fight off 3 other families at the same time and my uncle was basically made the general of the war since he had a decent amount of experience as an ex-member of Her Majesty's father's attack force at the time. My grandfather was too old to deal with anything so he gave all the responsibility to my uncle and he was forced to maintain budgets, hire soldiers, protect the borders, etc. He was practically on the brink of madness from all the stress and then he found out that my father, who was fighting on the front lines at the time, had been severely injured. They brought my father to the house and were trying to save his life when my uncle went to visit him. When he saw my father in a bloody state, he couldn't handle the immense pressure and stress he felt over his responsibilities and then the fault that was his that his brother was almost killed. He had a massive heart attack and died on the spot."

"Louise…" said Saito, sadly, as he watched his wife's, his beloved's, face scrunch up. She looked up at Saito with tears in her eyes and bit her lip in order to keep herself from shouting.

"My uncle was only 22 when this happened, Saito! You aren't that far from that age and you're dealing with more stress and pressure than he was! I can't stand the thought of something happening to you because I couldn't help you calm down!" cried Louise before throwing her face into her hands. Saito watched his wife with a saddened expression, thinking about all the worry he has been giving her. Siesta, meanwhile, was standing in the background taking in the conversation.

Saito stood from his chair and slid over to Louise before kneeling in front of her and wrapping his arms around her, pulling her to his chest.

"I'll be okay, Louise. That won't happen to me, I know it won't, because I have…you," said Saito, lovingly, as he held her to him. Louise froze for a moment and then slid her arms around his neck, slowly, her cries now gone.

"I love you so much, Saito," said Louise, lovingly, into Saito's ear. It was low, almost a whisper, but Saito was so happy she had said that in this moment. His grip tightened around her.

"I love you, too, my darling Louise," said Saito, lovingly.

By the time Saito and Louise's little moment had finished, night was already fast approaching and the couple moved upstairs to relax in their bedroom. Siesta followed, still troubled by the previous situation. She had noticed that even though Louise had given that heartfelt speech, Saito was no less stressed out than he was prior.

Louise had also noticed this and continued to think of ways to help Saito relax. As the two entered their room, Siesta sat in the corner of the room and the other two moved to occupy the bed.

"Hey, Saito," said Louise, finally thinking of a solution. Saito gave a 'Hm' to show he was listening and she began to fiddle with her hands. "W-Well, um, I was talking to Kirche the other day in lunch, and she had noticed how stressed you were, too, and told me an easy remedy for it…She said that in Germania, to get rid of stress, they…um…h-have sex…"

Saito froze in place as he processed this and threw his gaze at Louise who was blushing, furiously.

"W-Well, I mean, you don't really need to ask. I mean, it's not like we haven't done it before," said Saito, a blush across his face. Siesta was sitting in the corner, fidgeting uncomfortably at the conversation unfolding before her but she continued to listen, carefully.

"W-Well, I wasn't sure if you wanted to right now…and I thought you might be tired from today or something like that," said Louise, sheepishly. Saito glanced at her blushing face and slid a hand onto hers.

"It would be okay, but we should probably get Siesta to leave first," said Saito, calmly. Siesta perked up after being acknowledged and before Louise could agree, she flew over to the pink-haired girl, throwing her off the bed and whispering something into her ear. Louise turned bright red at the maid's words and began fuming.

"NO! NO NO NO NO!" shouted Louise in a bit of a hushed tone, but still clear as day to Saito, who sat, confused, on the bed.

"But, Miss Vallière, Miss Kirche said that sex was good for stress relief. You have seen how stressed Saito is, so instead of one girl, what if we used two," said Siesta while holding up two fingers and wearing a devious smile. "As his personal maid, it is my duty to make sure the master's health is good. So I should help you."

"No! Never! He's mine!" said Louise, annoyed that Siesta had even brought up an idea.

"Miss Vallière, I understand how you feel but this isn't just about you. Please at least give it some thought," said Siesta, a serious expression on her face.

Louise stopped to ponder such an idea, knowing Siesta was probably right, but was conflicted to allowing Saito be touched by another woman. She began mumbling, incoherently, to herself, only some words like 'just this once' or 'horny maid' could be heard. Finally, yet reluctantly, Louise looked at Siesta and nodded. Said girl squealed in happiness and the two turned to face the bed which was still occupied by Saito.

"L-Louise? S-Siesta?" asked Saito, a bit worried by the devious looks in their eyes as they approached the bed. Louise crawled up to Saito and kissed him before pushing him, causing him to fall onto the bed and stare at his wife in surprise.

"Saito, I don't like seeing you freak out from stress. As your wife, I'm going to help you loosen up and relax," said Louise, seductively, breathing into Saito's ear causing him to get goose bumps. Louise straddled Saito and bent over to kiss him once more and, when she broke it, Siesta popped up next to the bed.

"Yes, Master Saito. It isn't good for you to be stressed, and as your personal maid it is my job to take care of your health," said Siesta with a devious grin. Saito stared at his maid for a moment before turning back to Louise.

"And you're going to let her?" asked Saito, a bit shocked. Louise hesitantly nodded and Saito looked at her with a questioning look. "Who are you and what have you done with my wife?"

"Oh just shut up!" shouted Louise before pressing Saito to the bed with another kiss. She began to take off his parka and Siesta helped to pull it off of him.
