Hey guys, MT here!

Sorry I'm so late. It's been a bit hectic after my grandmother's house was broken into. She's okay but, as you'd expect, she's pretty shaken up so I haven't had a lot of time to write.

Anyways, enough depressing stuff.

Okay, so I'm going to start by apologizing for such a short chapter but I really wasn't sure what to write. It's been awhile since I've had such bad writer's block but I hope it doesn't affect the other chapter coming out at the end of the week.

Anyways, ENJOY!

Chapter 38

A week and a half later…

"So you're finally leaving?" asked Aki, dejectedly.

Saito and Louise had been staying in Japan for right around 2 weeks and they felt it was finally time to end their extended vacation. After all, Saito needed to start getting used to being a Duke.

"Yeah, it's about time we head back. I don't think the Queen will be happy if I shrug my responsibilities for too long," said Saito as he picked up the couple suitcases they had brought. Aki gave Saito a tight hug, muttering out a 'Come back soon' before moving to Louise to give her a hug as well. "Goodbye, Dad."

"Seeya son, Louise," called out Kurata from the couch while reading a newspaper. "Make sure the next time you come I have a grandchild or two."

"D-Dad!" shouted Saito, embarrassed by the comment. Louise had remained silent, blushing next to Saito.

"Now, dear, don't tease them. Though I don't hate the idea of having a grandchild," said Aki, winking at Saito and grinning. Saito blushed, brightly, and muttered 'portal' to Louise before the two disappeared into a World Door.

"Do you think we teased too much?" asked Aki, giggling lightly at how embarrassed Saito had looked.

"Who said I was teasing? I wanna make sure our son is continuing the family name," said Kurata, chuckling when he heard Aki squeak in surprise.

"Ugh…it's been 2 hours and I still can't believe my parents said something so embarrassing," said Saito to himself.

After he and Louise had arrived at the mansion, Louise had had Siesta help her unpack and the two decided to experience some of the last bits of the festival still going on. Saito, on the other hand, had decided to take it easy and was sitting down on some marble railing near the Romalia National Library. It passed in front of a large pillar allowing Saito to lean back and he was beginning to doze off before he heard something meow next to him.

"Hm?" said Saito, partly groggy. When he looked in the direction of the sound, he found a black and white cat with ominously familiar amber eyes. "Hey there."

The cat meowed again and approached Saito cautiously, glancing back at his face every few seconds. Soon it had made its way onto his lap and he smiled at the cute way the cat cuddled into him. Saito dragged his hand through its fur, causing it to purr in satisfaction.

"You like that, huh? I'm glad that one of us is having a good time," said Saito, happily. The cat cuddled into him again and moved into a bit of a strange position on Saito's lap, causing him to cock a brow, curiously. "What are you up to?"

The cat meowed again and it almost had a devious look in its eyes that Saito could swear he recognized. In only a moment, the cat's body glowed brightly and its form morphed into a much more recognizable one. When the glow popped off the familiar form, Saito found Asuna sitting calmly on his lap, her hands looped behind his neck.

"A-Asuna?!" shouted Saito, shocked and embarrassed that she was sitting on top of his lap.

"Teehee, did I surprise you, Saito?" asked Asuna, innocently. Saito nodded and looked at her confused, causing her to realize he wanted an explanation. "I wanted to practice my transformations. Plus, I couldn't have gotten onto your lap otherwise."

"I really wish you would get off. Also, if you wanted to stay on my lap longer, why didn't you just stay in your cat form?" asked Saito, curious as to why she decided to transform back so soon.

"Oh, well I've been playing with the transform power a bit and I found out that it can take quite a bit of energy," began Asuna, Saito muttering out an 'of course' in response to her words. "But it's even more if the animal I'm trying to transform into is much bigger or much smaller than I am. I tried to transform into an elephant and I almost blacked out from how much energy it took. Same with a mouse. Seems the most I can go to in smaller sizes is a cat and I can't even keep it from more than ten minutes."

"Ohhhh…it seems so cool though. I wonder if you trained a bit, you might be able to transform into any animal for long periods. We'd have to test it out and research if there are specific animals you can't transform into or if you can copy special powers from them like a dragon's fire or a-," rambled Saito before Asuna cut him off with a deep kiss. Saito flailed his arms around, his eyes wide in surprise. "Abuna, swop!"

Asuna released Saito's mouth, a string of saliva connecting their mouths. Saito blushed and quickly wiped it away before looking away.

"Asuna, you really need to stop this. Louise is going to kill me if you keep doing this," muttered Saito, embarrassed.

"She doesn't need to know about this. All I need is a bit of this every once in awhile, maybe a bit more, and I'll be happy," said Asuna, seductively, as she rubbed a finger on Saito's chest. Saito stared at her with a surprised expression, seeing the longing and lonely look in her eyes and was about to say something until they heard a familiar growl.

"Saitoooooooooo!" growled Louise, angrily, Siesta standing next to her looking equally as angry. Saito squeaked in fear and jumped, almost throwing Asuna off of him. "What are you doing after we just got back today?"

"Can't you tell? Saito and I are obviously having an affair. Just go away so we can have our fun in peace," said Asuna in her usual happy and teasing tone. Saito glanced at her, confused by what was wrong before, but he didn't have much time to worry about others.

"Grrrr…Saito you dog! EXPLOSION!" shouted Louise as she blasted Saito and Asuna off the railing and into a nearby building.

Why me? thought Saito, internally sighing. I guess I'm destined to be blown up for the rest of my life.

So? What did you guys think?

I know it was short and I know I skipped the rest of the vacation but I wanted to get into the next arcs of the story. Be prepared for Asuna becoming much more aggressive in her attempts on Saito. To be honest, I actually want to see how you guys will react if I make them do something they shouldn't be ;)

Anyways, enough teasing you guys. Review and until next time...byeee :D
