Oh God, it has been a long while since I put anything out even remotely related to this story, and after some thought, I've finally decided to put this out about that. This story has pretty much been dead in the water; it was one of the first real stories I did on this site and somehow it just fell to the sidelines.

I've had many times where I've wanted to continue the tale, but couldn't think of a way to do that and not look weird in my writing. I have gotten better at writing, my style has changed so much and my plotting skills, that were pretty much none existent when I first wrote Rika and Hanyu Real World Adventure is now an important step in the story writing process for me as a person aspiring to take up a career in writing.

After brainstorming for the longest time, I finally know how I want to do the story. I'm going to rewrite, so it will flow better and just be the better version of what I intended.

I'll admit, I'm not as hype on Higurashi as I was back in 2010 (dammit, its still hard to believe its been that long), but I want to continue it and complete the story that involved the characters that are near and dear to me.

As for when I'll start this, I'm hoping soon, once I've plotted everything out and flushed out where I want to take this tale of anime characters in the real world, which I've already started. In fact, most of my old stories from around this time are stuck because I went in without plotting anything out, chapter for chapter, like I've done with most, if not all of my recent stories.

I plan on making it third person; I hate to admit it, but my third person writing is much better now than my first person. I like getting into the mind of the characters, while at the same time having the flexibly to change the POV and being many places at once, not having to stick to just showing the world through the eyes of one character. Had I not been so afraid of third person back then, I would've been able to explains things a lot better. Show what Rika and Hanyu really thought, or if I didn't use them, what Ant' or even Kim thought about the whole situation.

The original will continue to stay on my stories, and rather I use Umineko and Higurashi, or just Higurashi is still up in the air. But, I can promise you readers one thing, its going to be a blast either way.
