Hey guys MT here!

You guys can murder me now if you want! I know that I've been really bad about getting the chapters up but alot has been coming up. That is why I'm going to have to say that no chapter will be coming up from last week so you'll just be getting this week's chapter. I may put up a double chapter at a later point but it depends how much time I have.

Aside from the lack of time something special came back to slow me down, further. Writer's blockkkkkk~! I hate it so much. This is the first chapter where I had literally no idea what to write. In the end I just jumped ahead as you will see in the first couple lines.

Anyways, ENJOY!

Chapter 43

One week later…

"So, Saito-dono, how has Miss Tenshi's training been going?" asked Henrietta before she sipped some tea while sitting with Saito, Louise, and Tenshi in the Des Ornières parlor.

"Great! Tenshi's a really fast learner and she can already use her acceleration spell for almost half a day before she runs out of power," said Saito, enthusiastically, causing Tenshi to blush in embarrassment.

"That's very good. I believe it's time we get her her book, don't you think?" said Henrietta, swiveling her tea cup around. Saito sighed in annoyance and looked away causing Henrietta to frown. "Oh come now, Saito-dono, are you still angry with Julio? You should really just get over it."

"S-Saito-sama, c-could we p-please g-go?" asked Tenshi, nervously. Saito sighed and muttered out a 'Fine' before Henrietta smiled.

"Would you mind if I join you, then? I would love to see the ancient room myself," said Henrietta, receiving an 'of course' from Louise.

The four entered a World Door after they had finished their tea and exited at the gates of the Vatican in Romalia.

"Halt! Who goes there?" shouted one of the guards, holding his weapon out towards them. Another joined him and Saito sighed before placing a hand on Derf's handle.

"Don't you guys know anything? You're pointing your lance at Queen Henrietta of Tristain," said Saito, annoyed. The guards looked at one another and lowered their weapons after a moment before guiding them inside.

"You sure have a way with words, Partner," teased Derf as they were guided into the Vatican.

"Oh shut up. Either ways, do you have any idea about what could be in the room where Tenshi's book is? It could have something more than just the book," said Saito, curious.

"Hm…I'm not really sure to be honest. I don't really remember much from seven thousand years ago, Partner. I'm old and my memory doesn't stretch that far," said Derf, causing Saito to sigh.

"Y'know, outside of battle, you're a pretty useless sword," said Saito, angering Derf. Derf began to shout things like 'ungrateful brat' or 'maybe I won't work next time' as they entered the main hall.

"Please wait here while we inform Julio-sama," said a servant who had seen them enter. He quickly left and it was about ten minutes afterward that Julio appeared coming down the steps.

"Well, well, what a surprise. I really wish you had informed me you were coming," said Julio as he came down the steps towards them.

"Now what fun would that be?" countered Saito, causing Julio to chuckle, lightly, at the memory from a week ago.

"I assume you all want to see the room we rediscovered?" asked Julio, receiving serious nods from the group. "Then, please, follow me."

Julio led everyone down into the dungeons underneath the Vatican and they walked along the same steps that his servant had when he first found the passage to the room. He showed everyone how to open the door, receiving Saito's complete interest and his excitement in how interesting it was.

Within a few minutes, they were all entering the enormous room and Saito couldn't believe his eyes.

"Ohhhhhh! A Guntō! A Colt! A type 100 SMG! A sniper rifle! A type 89 Yi-Go! And even a Chi-To!" shouted Saito, excitedly, as he bounced around the room from sword to handgun to even the two tanks that sat in the large room.

"He seems to like it," said Julio, calmly, as he watched Saito bounce around.

"What is all this, Julio? Are these all weapons?" asked Henrietta, looking at Julio in shock.

"Yes. Founder Brimir used a spell that would open up World Doors in Saito's world and would dump them in the desert outside Romalia. He activated it to retrieve weapons that could be used to fight the elves during his time. The Vatican had been collecting those weapons and storing them here until a while back when a Pope had died and the location of the entrance to the room had been lost. The weapons can all be used by Gandalfr and will be helpful for the coming war," explained Julio, causing Louise and Henrietta to perk up.

"What war? The times are peaceful, Julio," said Henrietta, seriously.

"My sweet Henrietta, you know as well as I do that the Void mage appear to fight a coming catastrophe. What other reason could there be for a Void mage such as Miss Tenshi to appear if there was no future war? Something is coming. Something so big that the four Void mage must work together to fight it. Which is why I desperately searched for this room the second I discovered the knowledge of the fourth Void mage's reappearance," said Julio, causing Henrietta to bite her lip in frustration.

"Um, Julio, would you mind showing us the door to Tenshi's Void room?" asked Louise, trying to diffuse the tension that had suddenly appeared.

"Ah, yes! Please, follow me. Saito! Please follow us!" called out Julio, catching Saito's attention. He quickly grouped back with them and they walked to the back of the room, finding a largely decorated door at the back with a slot and indentation. "This is it."

"Hm…Louise, it's got the same slot as the last door. I think we need to use Derf to unlock it," said Saito after inspecting the slot.

"What about the indentation next to it? This looks important," said Louise as she slid her hand in the indentation. "The shape seems familiar. It almost seems like a…shield?"

"A shield? Ah! Doesn't Chichi transform into a shield?! Maybe you need two familiars to open this door," said Saito, suddenly. "Louise, can you get Asuna while we continue to inspect it."

Louise nodded and moved away before opening a World Door and disappearing through it. Minutes later she came back, this time with Gwen and Asuna, the latter of which had Chichi sitting on her shoulder.

"Saito-san! Louise said it was urgent, what's wrong?" asked Gwen, seriously.

"Asuna, transform Chichi into his shield form. We're going to use it and Derf to unlock this door," commanded Saito. Asuna nodded and did as she was told.

Saito unsheathed Derf and pushed him in the slot, grinned when he heard a 'clunk' come from the door. Asuna took Chichi and slid him into the indentation, smiling when he was a perfect fit.

"Turn us!" shouted Derf and Chichi in unison. Both turned and there was a loud creaking and clanking as gears that hadn't been turned in millennia moved against each other. There was a loud click that echoed in the room and everyone remained frozen as they waited for what was going to occur.

Around 30 tiny doors slid open in unison and gems of varying sizes and shapes came out. Once they were all out, they all began to glow, lighting up the backgrounds of the shapes. Louise, Gwen, and Tenshi's eyes dimmed and they all took out their wands, surprising Henrietta, Julio, and Asuna.

"Nee-san?" called Asuna, not moving from her place at the door.

"Louise? Are you okay?" asked Henrietta, worriedly.

"Shh!" said Julio after throwing his arm in front of Henrietta. She glanced at him and back to the group at the door and watched as the trio of Void mage began to chant some spell. The gems glowed brighter and the dust was suddenly blown off the door, revealing its golden luster. The room was filled with a bright light and strips of the door sunk into it before sliding back. Saito and Asuna pulled their partners from the door and steam blew out from both locations.

The door suddenly split in the middle and steam poured out before the door slid open, both parts of the door sliding into the walls.

A bright, white light blasted out of the room, partially blinding everyone there.

When the light faded, Louise, Gwen, and Tenshi were back to normal, but no one really paid attention because they were looking at the room.

The group entered the room, slowly, and inspected everything. The room was a solid white with golden letters all along the walls. There were small paintings that were faded but depicted things like a mage or some holding Derf.

In the middle of the room was a white pedestal with an old, hardcover book sitting on top of it and attached to the back wall, directly behind the pedestal, was a large, purple, and spherical object pressed into the wall.

"Amazing!" shouted Julio, excitedly, before running off to inspect the walls. The rest moved to the pedestal to pick up the book. Tenshi picked it up and carefully opened it before skimming through the first few pages, her expression becoming confused.

"W-What language i-is this?" said Tenshi, confused.

"Huh? It's not in your native language, Tenshi?" asked Saito before taking the book from her hands. He scanned through it and gasped. "It doesn't look anything like Valkyrian but wasn't the one who wrote all of them a Valkyrie? Why would he write it in a different language?"

"Saito-dono, may I please see it?" asked Henrietta. Saito handed her the book and she scanned through it before mouthing an 'O'. "I know which language this it. I don't know it myself, but I remember seeing it the last time we dealt with this group of people. It's the language of the Dwarven people to the north. We've had much trade with them for their metals. The mountains are quite full of them."

"So it's in Dwarfish? How will we translate it, Princess-sama?" asked Louise, wondering what they were going to do then.

"There is a man in my court who is half Dwarf. He studied the language and is the one who helps with our dealings. When we get back to Tristain, I can arrange a meeting with him," said Henrietta, surprising the rest.

"Hey, guys," interjected Asuna. "I'm sorry to interrupt, but that sphere in the back has been making my animal instincts go wild. It's emitting some weird energy that's making the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end."

"I-I've been f-feeling something s-similar," said Tenshi before she, hesitantly, began to walk over to it.

"Careful, Tenshi," warned Saito. She smiled at him and nodded before reaching out towards the sphere. She pressed her palm to it and the sphere began to glow a dim, purple light. It cracked, suddenly, and she yanked her hand back before the sphere completely shattered. A large tome fell out of the shattered sphere and Tenshi jumped forward to catch it.

"W-What's this?" said Tenshi as she inspected it.

"I-Is that…?" began Derf.

"I think…Oo Oo…it is!" shouted Chichi. The group looked between them and then they spoke out loud again.

"Vivlioflinger!" shouted the two in unison. Everyone stared at the old tome for a moment and the dust on it suddenly blew off. It was still gray and old underneath the dust but at least it seemed a bit better.

The tome remained still for a moment before it suddenly opened up by its middle and yawned, loudly.

"Hot damn! I have a freaking crick in my spine that will take awhile to get out!" shouted the tome, loudly. "Eh? Who the hell are you people?"

"Oi, Vivlio! Don't talk to the new Void mage that way, you dumbass!" shouted Derf, annoyed.

"That Derfy over there? You got a nice little upgrade. Congrats yah basterd," said Vivlio, annoying Derf.

"Don't ignore me you damn book!" shouted Derf in annoyance.

"Ah look, Telum's over there, too," said Vivlio, completely ignoring Derf.

"I go by Chichi now," said Chichi, also ignoring Derf.

"Kinda retarded but I'll go with it," said Vivlio before scooting over in Tenshi's hands to get a better look at her. "Hey, who's this babe that's holding me? She's hot."

"You dumbass! That's the Void mage you're gonna serve under with Myoznitnirn!" shouted Derf, angrily. Vivlio gasped and he began fidgeting in her hands.

"Hey, yo, I'm totally freaking sorry. I didn't know you were one of the big four. Pardon my ignorance," said Vivlio, causing Tenshi to blush in embarrassment.

"I-It's a-alright. U-Umm…I'm T-Tenshi," introduced Tenshi, smiling at the book.

"Name's Vivlioflinger, just call me Vivlio, master-lady," said Vivlio, causing Tenshi to blush again.

"M-Master? N-No, you s-should just call m-me T-Tenshi," said Tenshi. Vivlio muttered out an 'I hear ya' and Saito walked over to them.

"So, Vivlio, mind telling us what your power is? Derf has his and Chichi does too so we were curious," said Saito, bending down to look at Vivlio.

"Who's this motherfricker?" asked Vivlio. "I ain't talkin' to no one until we get outta this damn room. I've been rotting in here for six millennia and I'd actually like to see the sun for once."

Tenshi nodded and hopped to her feet, clutching Vivlio to her chest.

"L-Let's go!" said Tenshi, sternly. The entire group then went outside to let Vivlio see the sun and to converse with him.

So? What did you guys think?

When I started this chapter, I really didn't know where I was going. Once I picked up momentum, though, I wrote and I wrote and then I wrote some more and I quickly realized this chapter was getting long and there didn't seem to be an end in sight. I hope the ending wasn't too abrupt.

Also, how'd you like Vivlio? I wanted to make a more obscene familiar tool since Derf is relatively calm but proper and Chichi is well, Chichi. I got the idea from a talking book in Shakugan no Shana and I thought I'd try it out.

Anyways, Review and let me know what you thought and any ideas for the future. Until next time...byeee :D
