Hey guys, MT here!

I hope everyone's having a good day and I like everyone's reactions to Des Ornieres' possible destruction :3

Before I let you go, I just wanted to let you guys know that I will be starting a new fic here on my account!

It's going to be a time-traveling Highschool DxD fic based on someone else's fic which he didn't finish. I'm talking to him about it but it seems like everything will be all green so look forward to it!

Anyways, ENJOY!

Note: Also sorry for the shortness! I've been a little booked lately!

Chapter 51

Time seemed to freeze for Tenshi as she watched the giant zeppelin drop the massive bomb over Des Ornières. She looked at Louise and Siesta and found that they were both shocked by what was about to happen. She thought Louise might have tried to use a World Door to teleport it away, but where would she send it? Anywhere it went, it may take lives. She then turned to Saito and saw that his eyes were dead. He was still recovering and didn't have the level of power necessary to take down the bomb. On top of that, even if he could destroy it, the debris would cause massive damage all over the town.

"No," said Tenshi, softly. All the memories of her time on Des Ornières flashed before her eyes. Since she had lost her family, it was the first place that she felt at home. Felt loved. She remembered that first day when she was talking to Saito. The lessons with Louise. Helping Siesta and when said maid would play games with her. She remembered Saito's kindness despite not knowing anything about her. It was one of the reasons she liked him. She was terrified when she had heard that Saito was hospitalized due to an illness and she was so happy to hear that he was okay. Now, though, he might die and she may not be able to do anything…or can she?

Ever since Louise had given her the Founder's Prayer book, Tenshi had kept it with her all the time. Today was no different.

As Tenshi's emotions built up, the Prayer book began to glow, though nobody noticed since it was in her satchel.

"No…" repeated Tenshi. "I won't lose everything again."

Tenshi threw her wand in the air, causing Saito to glance over at her, and tears streamed down her face.

"I WON'T LOSE EVERYTHING AGAIN!" shouted Tenshi, loudly. She began to chant a spell that Saito had never heard before and the tip of her wand began to glow, brightly. She finished chanting and took a deep breath. "AEGIS SVALINN!"

A bright green energy shot out of her wand in the shape of a cone and branched out into an enormous upside-down dome a couple hundred feet in the air. The dome spread out to such a ridiculous size that Saito could dare say it shielded the entire town. The giant bomb landed inside the giant shield and exploded, causing an explosion that blew black smoke in every direction and also blasted upward, shielding the zeppelin from view. Tenshi gritted her teeth as she keep the spell going to protect everyone from the explosion. After several minutes, the smoke began to dissipate and Tenshi fell to the ground, unconscious.

"M-Miss Tenshi!" shouted Siesta, her trance from before broken by Tenshi's act.

Saito continued to look upward, watching the smoke disappear and noticed that the zeppelin was far away. He was unsure if they thought the bomb worked and left or saw that it didn't and fled. Either ways that zeppelin was fast despite how gigantic it was. He sighed in relief that everything was over and turned towards Louise.

"Louise," said Saito, calmly. Louise was staring at the zeppelin with an angry glare and Saito sighed. "Love, they're gone. We have more important things to do than try to follow them."

"…Fine, Saito," said Louise, sourly, after a moment. "Saito, we should tell the villagers everything is okay. After an explosion of that size, I'm sure most of them are panicking."

"Good idea. Go out and begin informing the villagers. Siesta, take Tenshi inside. I'm going to contact Henrietta. This has officially marked the beginning of a war," said Saito, seriously. Louise nodded and ran off to the town while Siesta dragged Tenshi inside to sit her down. Saito looked off at the zeppelin and growled.

If it's war they want, it's war they'll get! thought Saito, angrily.

Elsewhere…

Ridiculously loud marching could be heard echoing through the enormous cave system. There was a short man looking out from a giant ledge, a dark grin on his face.

"Milord!" shouted a small dwarf as he ran to the man. "The army's training is nearing completion. All we will require after is to accumulate all the funds."

The short man nodded and the small dwarf bowed before running off. The short man looked off at his army and grinned. The man was short yet stout. He had a large belly which poked out of his light gray robes that had a white and black spotted trim. He had dark, rough skin which was littered with scars, the most notable one being over his right eye, said eye being pure white, lacking both the cornea and pupil. He had an enormous curly, amber beard which blew off of his face and fell on top of his stomach, ending just above his knees. The end was held together by a golden ring that was encrusted with different colored jewels. His hair was just as curly and amber but was much shorter, only reaching to his shoulders. Atop his head was a solid gold crown with gems under each peak of the top of the crown.

Another dwarf appeared, walking much calmer as he did so.

This dwarf had a clean shaven face with much lighter skin than the short man. His hair was a deep amber which was pulled back and curling up off the back of his neck. He was very slim but had a noticeable tone of muscle peeking out from under his long-sleeved shirt. On his belt was a sword with a silver and gold hilt that contained a large gem at the end.

"King Hreidmar, my lord!" said the dwarf, jokingly. Hreidmar sighed, his grin fading, and glanced over at the dwarf with his good eye.

"Son, I've told you time and time again, do not be so formal with me. You are my son, not my subject," said Hreidmar, annoyed. The dwarf chuckled and moved next to his father to watch the army's training with him.

"So, father, how goes everything?" asked the dwarf.

"Good. Ekko just informed me the training is nearly complete and the only thing left is to accumulate funds for supplies," explained Hreidmar. "Reginn, where are your brothers Otr and Fafnir?"

"Otr is relaxing in his chamber while Fafnir is busy sparring with the generals. I swear, he may just end up killing them if he doesn't give them a break soon," said Reginn, causing Hreidmar to chuckle.

"It's good that he is energetic. He'll be able to kill the enemy more quickly. I was hoping that we could prepare a bit more before we announced our plans to the filth but it seems Fafnir just couldn't help but attack that town in Albion," said Hreidmar, sighing a bit.

"Well, what can be done, father? Either ways, those filthy magical beings can't possibly hope to amass a force enough to defeat us. We've as good as won," said Reginn, jokingly.

"That is what those worthless Valkyrie and Elves believed and they both lost to the Halkeginian filth. One cannot simply underestimate the power of Brimir. He did, after all, subjugate all races before him; even our own," said Hreidmar, seriously. "You are aware of the story. After all, it has been passed down through the royal family since the days of my ancestor who witnessed the first Void mage himself."

"Yes yes, father, I know the story. 'And then the king, Brokkr, forged the magical spear Gungnir as an offering to Brimir to give to his familiar Gandalfr'. Gungnir was lost millennia ago during one of the great wars so we needn't even worry about that. Otherwise, what could they possibly have? Their magic could never be as powerful as our metal-movers and none of the familiars of the Void mage could survive the power of our dragon-bellies," said Reginn.

"Please do not make up names for our weapons," said Hreidmar, sighing in annoyance. "They are mechs and great charges."

"Yes, I am aware father. I just quite like pushing your buttons on these matters," said Reginn, causing Hreidmar to sigh once again. The conversation died after those words and the two merely watched the army train, grinning, evilly, as they did so.

So? What did you guys think?

Finally! I revealed the Dwarven leaders!

I actually made this up on the spot when I began writing this chapter. It's going to be based on a lot of mythology (If you noticed the references to Gungnir and Fafnir) so woohoo to the mythology fans out there!

What do you guys think of the new characters, though? I want to see if you guys think they look and seem interesting before I continue including them.

Review and let me know and until next time...byeee :D
