Hey guys, MT here!

Sorry for the lateness but life and being a little sick killed my schedule :/

Anyways, I have several comments to comment on before we start:

As for the jumping between first and third person, sorry about that but I had been writing a couple English papers and I had to write a lot in first person so when I transitioned back, it came out a little awkward. This chapter should be better now that I'm back to normal.

As for the new reader, I'm so happy that people are still finding my story so awesome! One of my favorite things about writing is hearing how happy you guys are reading my work! Thanks so much for sticking with me :D

Anyways, ENJOY!

Chapter 56

The next day…

"Buwaaah!" yawned Saito as he walked down the stairs of Des Ornières on his way to the kitchen. He had slept in a bit since he had stayed up rather late with Mr. Colbert the night before and it was already nearing noon. As he finally got to the first floor and turned the corner towards the kitchen, he nearly bumped into Siesta who was carrying a tea tray. "Woah, sorry Siesta."

"It's alright, Saito-san. Did you just wake up? I can make you some breakfast if you like," said Siesta, a bit of a suspicious smile on her face. Saito cocked a brow at her and then looked down at the tray.

"Siesta, why do you need two cups if I wasn't awake yet?" asked Saito, suspiciously. Siesta tensed a bit and looked at the tray before looking up at Saito.

"W-Well, I was going to drink tea with Miss Louise in the parlor, of course. Who else would be drinking tea?" said Siesta, laughing nervously. Saito glared at her and she slumped a bit. "Miss Asuna is here…"

"Why didn't you tell me that? Wait…Asuna is here…and she's alone with Louise…Crap," said Saito after realizing it. He walked towards the parlor, clad in only some pants and his normal white undershirt, and opened the door.

"Oh, good morning, Saito. Did you sleep well?" said Louise with mock enthusiasm. Saito sighed, knowing she wasn't in the best moods since Asuna had come over unexpectedly. He walked over and sat in his usual armchair and smiled at Asuna.

"Nice to see you again, Asuna. Thanks again for letting Mr. Colbert borrow your mom's translation device," said Saito, happily. Asuna nodded and fidgeted in her seat, a bit nervous. "So, what brings you here?"

"A-Ah, well, I came to talk to Louise but…I'm not sure where to begin," began Asuna, a bit nervous. Saito stared at her, a bit confused, before she bit her lip and finally got up.

"Asu-," began Saito before freezing.

"I'm sorry for what I did to your husband!" shouted Asuna after dropping to her hands and knees in front of Louise. Both Saito and Louise's eyes widened at the sight and they glanced at each other before looking at Asuna again. Before either could say anything, Asuna continued, her voice cracking a bit. "I never meant for it to go that far…I just wanted to be close to Saito. I wanted to make up for the lost time because of my mistake…I guess my desires got out, uncontrolled, while I was drunk and did something I regret. Of course I want to stay close to Saito but I don't want to lose the friends I've made!"

Saito and Louise remained silent as they waited for her to finish and in the end they could hear Asuna's soft sobs into the parlor rug.

"Asuna…" said Saito, feeling bad after hearing Asuna's cries.

"Get up," said Louise, sternly. Saito looked over at his wife and she was glaring down at Asuna, annoyed by the girl who was prostrating herself in front of her. "I refuse to let someone like you bow in front of me and degrade yourself. It's not only disrespectful to the country you are princess of but also Gwen who is your master."

Asuna looked up at Louise and nodded before rising to her feet. Saito looked over at his wife, afraid she was going to get violent, and stepped forward.

"Louise, don't-," began Saito.

"Shut up!" shouted Louise, suddenly, causing Saito to stiffen. He hadn't heard her this serious in a long time. "Asuna, what you did with Saito was something that I take very seriously. I put up with your constant flirting because I knew it was just you feeling bad about what you did to Saito. I knew it was just another one of those annoying situations where a girl was in love with Saito. Despite the fact that I'm furious with you for doing what you did with Saito, I hate seeing you act like this. I hate it when people act differently around their friends just because of a mistake. Now, as long as you never ever even think about doing something like that…I will try to forgive you."

The room was silent after Louise's speech and Asuna and Saito stared at her, shocked. It was only after a couple minutes did Asuna finally react to Louise's words. Her eyes filled with tears and she was completely unable to contain them as they poured from her eyes and down her cheeks.

"Lowiseeeee! Tank wuuuu!" shouted Asuna, her voice filled with sobs as she threw herself at Louise in a hug. Asuna, with tears streaming down her face, cried against Louise while crushing her in a hug. Louise sweat-dropped and then growled when she nearly felt her ribs crack.

"Get off of me you gorilla girl!" shouted Louise as she pushed Asuna away. Louise's pushes were to no avail, though, as Asuna was much stronger than her due to the fact that she had actually absorbed a gorilla's strength using her Vindalfr powers.

Saito watched the scene and he couldn't help but burst into laughter. Such a serious scene had turned into one so ridiculous as Louise was now struggling against Asuna's gorilla strength. Louise and Asuna looked over at him and then laughed themselves before Asuna released Louise.

"What are you laughing at Saito?" asked Louise with a playful smile. Saito merely laughed in response and Louise turned when she noticed Asuna fidgeting. "What is it? I already told you I forgave you so just go back to how you were before. You and that perverted maid wouldn't be yourselves if you weren't drooling over my husband."

Asuna smiled, brightly, and then ran over to Saito and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Oh Saito~! It's so good to be able to hug you like this again," said Asuna, not wanting to waste a moment. Louise had to restrain herself a bit but was at least happy things were somewhat back to normal…or at least for that moment she was.

Asuna planted a deep kiss on Saito's lips, surprising the man, and causing Louise to all but roar at Asuna.

"You stupid harlot! I forgive you and the first thing you do is make out with my husband?!" shouted Louise, angrily. Asuna turned and grinned at her, causing Louise to growl and take out her wand, to which Asuna grinned and transformed into a cat before leaping out the window. "Come back here to I can blow that stupid grin off your face!"

Louise followed Asuna out the window, wand at the ready, and Saito sweat-dropped when he could hear explosions coming from outside.

Well, at least things are back to normal, thought Saito, a bit exasperated, as he walked towards the kitchen, feeling a bit hungry.

Meanwhile…

Hreidmar was sitting at his desk in his stone office in the great Dwarven kingdom. He was going through some reports in silence until he heard the door burst open.

"Why father?!" shouted a rather large dwarf who had entered his office. Said dwarf was ridiculously muscular, his arms rippling as he moved. He was wearing an open vest which revealed the enormous pecks and rock solid abs that could probably take a bullet and not even be scratched. He had golden hair that was pulled back into a ponytail and a thick but short golden beard. His skin was rough and he had scars all along his arms and chest and face. One would wonder how he managed to live with so many wounds.

Hreidmar looked up at the dwarf and sighed.

"What is it, Fafnir?" asked Hreidmar, already rubbing his temples from the headache he knew was coming. Fafnir growled and took the golden battleaxe that hung from his belt and impaled it into the desk, causing Hreidmar to look at his son with serious eyes.

"You know exactly what is the matter you shitty old man. How dare you move back the date of our first planned attacks on the magical scum! Do you know how long I've waited for this?" shouted Fafnir, angrily.

"Fafnir, I have no reason to explain myself to you," said Hreidmar, annoyed that his son had threatened his in such a manner.

"Yes you do! Give me one good reason why I shouldn't lead the army into their countries myself!" shouted Fafnir, angrily. Hreidmar rose up to his feet, a furious expression on his face at the insubordination of his son.

"Because I am your kind and you must do as I say!" shouted Hreidmar, nearly snarling at Fafnir. Fafnir was taken a bit back by the sudden fury of his father and Hreidmar recomposed himself and sat down. After a moment of silence he sighed. "We have yet to collect a suitable amount of funding and I wished to increase the reserves of weaponry for our attack. I want to wipe them out without any issues."

Fafnir stared at his father for a moment and growled again before yanking his axe from the desk and grumbling to himself as he walked out of Hreidmar's office. Hreidmar sighed and relaxed into his seat, sighing in annoyance as he rubbed his temples to soothe his new headache. Little did he know that Reginn was against the wall just outside, a devious smile on his face. What could he be up to?

So? What did you guys think?

FINALLY I got to the Louise-Asuna repair and, to be honest, I'm not sure how it turned out. I feel like I made Louise a little OOC but I feel like that would be a more mature response which, believe it or not, she is maturing as these events are passing. Let me know your thoughts on it and, if the response is negative enough, I might change it.

Also, finally brought back the Dwarves! What is this in the government? Strife between Hreidmar and Fafnir? What could Reginn be doing in the background? What in blazes is Otr doing? Who knows?!

Anyways, please Review to let me know what you guys are thinking and until next time...byeee :D
