*little bit of a time skip maybe a few days after a week*
Mara was walking down the hallway only to be stopped by a girl. It was none other then Maria. She didn't look happy and Alfred was out sick. He had been all week. Mara looked at the girl. "Can I help you?" Mara stared coldly. She had heard about Maria. A girl who constantly used people till she no longer needed them. She was a cruel person and everyone knew it too. "Why are you hanging out with my boyfriend?"
Mara looked taken aback. "Who do you mean?" Maria scoffed. "Alfred Jones." Mara froze up. "Stop talking to him or else." Maria walked away.
Mara had only known Alfred for a week or so she did not know him very well. She didn't know this information yet.
She shrugs and walks to her next class which happens to be English. She thought to herself as she walked to class.
'He asked me out for coffee... that usually means a date. But he has a girlfriend.. is he cheating on her now? With me?' She sighs. 'My last relationship wasn't the best. My ex did cheat on me with some girl. humm..' she reaches her classroom.
To her surprise Alfred was here. Since he had been sick all week so she thought that he would be sick today.
She sat on the opposite side of the room FAR away from Alfred hoping that he wouldn't notice her. But he did.
He thought to himself 'She never sits that far away..' He looked down at his notes that he had for English. 'Did i do something wrong?' He looked back over too her. He was a little hurt. He decided to ask her. The bell rang for class to start. 'Guess the clock is wrong.' He pulled out his phone.
Text: Did I do something wrong? I was sick like I said. Please don't be mad at me. I don't like people being mad at me. Forgive me, please.

He looked at the teacher who had just entered the room. He hid his phone under his desk. He looked at Mara. She was doing the same thing he was doing.
Text: I never said I was mad. Stop saying things that are stupid. -3- Geez you're such an idiot!

And with that last text Mara didn't respond to Alfred's text.
I love this now. This has been something I have been working on for months now and I have been trying to fix all the chapters up and I am really happy with the final results and I hope the rest of you all enjoy it too. I'm very proud of this story honestly. Very proud.
