It's alright, it's OK
Just a short moment after the sun had raised to the sky, Amazonia, Musa and Tulio sat into the kitchen eating breakfast and looked at paint-samples for the nursery of the new baby.
''Pink?'' Tulio asked and grimaced at the soft baby-pink color Amazonia just had suggested.
''Why not?'' Amazonia asked and looked from the beautiful pink shade to her husband.
''Well, what if it's a boy?'' Tulio asked again.
''That's so sexist, Melody's nursery is blue.'' Musa folded her arms across her chest and frowned her eyebrows. Tulio gave Musa a short stare before turning back to his wife.
''Can't we just choose something gender neutral?'' He asked again and turned to look at the many paint-samples before him. Amazonia made a soft grunt and sighed.
''Fine, green?'' She asked. Tulio made an approving sound as Amazonia flicked through the papers. Suddenly they heard a beep coming from Musa's cell-phone and they both looked up at her.
''It was your mom, she and your dad will be back in a few hours with the kids.'' Musa read from the text-message Topaz had sent her and put the phone back into her pocket. A wave of sadness hit Amazonia by the thought of Teddy returning.
''Now Chel needs to tell Teddy about her and Paris splitting up.'' She said sadly. Musa nodded sadly as well.
''They will be fine, maybe everything might work out for the better.'' Tulio said and looked at the many shades of green before him, not showing any emotion regarding neither his sister or soon-to-be nephew. Amazonia frowned her eyebrows, she couldn't believe what she just had heard.
''What are you talking about? There is no better for neither Paris or Chel.'' She said and stood up and walked over to place her dish in the sink. When she was about to go back, she had to lean on the counter as she started to get dizzy. After a few seconds she carefully walked back to her seat and gets weaker and weaker for every step, before she suddenly faints onto her chair.
''Am? Amazonia?'' Tulio was able to catch her and prevent her from falling of her chair.
Early the next morning, Paris sits outside onto the balcony stair railing. Down onto the grass before him Jack trains the others while himself observes all of them which level of skills they have. In the corner of his eyes he could see a slim figure with auburn hair coming outside from the doors. Paris pretended that he didn't notice that she had come outside and just focused on what he was doing before.
''Can we talk?'' A soft voice came from behind him. He didn't turn around but sighed and wrote something onto the clipboard resting against his thigh.
''I'm busy.'' He said coldly. Zandra sighed and walked over and sat down besides him. For a few seconds she just looked at him but remained quiet.
''I know that I went to far last night. I tried to push you into something that you weren't ready for, and I know that I hurt your feelings.'' She said. Paris finally looked up at her, glaring angrily.
''You didn't hurt my feelings! But you showed zero respect, for neither me, Chel or yourself. Whatever you want to believe it or not, I shared a relationship with a women for almost a year who I was ready to commit to and start a family. And the same day that woman breaks of our engagement you expect me to have sex with you. That's what you don't get!'' Paris hissed at her. Zandra looked down in the ground.
''I just didn't know how much it meant to you, but I do now. And I know that getting over Chel will take time.'' Paris looked at her for a second, but he knew that Zandra was telling the truth and he also knew that she meant it. He nodded and gave her a smile, making her smile.
''There was another thing that I wanted to talk to you about. I have an idea on how we can make the guys improve their battle-skills.'' She said and crossed her legs. Paris looked up at her again and frowned his eyebrows.
''One of the main-reasons why Leon send me out in the desert to train my own army was that he wanted to make an experiment. He wanted to see how it would affect out battle-skills and concentration if we used our energy in battle when we didn't use it on other things like sex and relationships.'' Zandra added. Paris was still confused and frowned his eyebrows even more.
''I'm talking about them living in celibacy.'' Paris broke out in laughter, thinking that she was joking. But he soon went quiet when he realised that she wasn't.
''They will never agree to it. Especially not Jack, even thought he might be the one that needs it.'' Paris rolled his eyes by the thought of Jack.
''You said it yourself that you disapprove of his behaviour. Maybe it's time to put a stop to that.'' Paris hesitated. Jack it his best friend, and not matter how much he disagrees to what Jack's doing, he couldn't force him or anyone of the others to do this.
''We can't have our commoners decide how they are going to run things around here. If it doesn't fit Mr Horny, then he can always walk away.'' Zandra said and stood up and straighten her uniform. Paris chuckled by Jack's new nickname.
''I'm calling to a meeting this afternoon.'' Zandra added before going inside. Paris grinned and shook his head as he watched her disappear inside. She's never going to change.
Back at the palace, Tulio was still trying to wake up an unconscious Amazonia without any success.
''Am, wake up. Amazonia!'' Tulio said as he held Amazonia with his right arm and held a his left hand on the back of her head.
''Hey, Am. Are you okey? Musa, could you get me some water?'' He asked his sister-in-law before turning his head back to Amazonia. Luckily, Amazonia soon opens her eyes again.
''Am? Thank God. Hey look at me, stay with me.'' After a few minutes, Amazonia was still a bit shaky but still in a clear mind. Tulio stood by her side stroking her back softly.
''What just happened to you? You're still really pale.'' He said and brushed a few locks of hair behind her shoulder. Amazonia shook her head and looked up at him.
''No, I'm fine now. Really.'' She said calmly. Tulio sat down onto the chair high-chair behind him and frowned his eyebrows.
''You were unconscious.'' He said with a sharp tone. Now it was Amazonia's turn to frown her eyebrows and tilted her head.
''Yeah for like five seconds. It's have been going on so much this last couple of days. I was just lucky that you were here.'' She smiled and placed a hand onto his chest.
''I'll always be there. I love you.'' Tulio smiled and cupped her cheek.
''Stop it, before I'm going to faint again.'' Amazonia giggled and turned back to look at Musa.
''That's why I'm taking you to the healer.'' Tulio said and stood up grabbing her arm softly. Amazonia turned up to look at him again shaking her head.
''No Tulio, I was just kidding.'' She protested.
''Well I'm not, so come on.'' He said and took her left arm and put it around his neck and pulled her up.
''Tulio, this is nuts.'' Amazonia protested again as she sighed.
''Yeah I know, let the healer tell me that so you can laugh in my face.'' Tulio said as he and Amazonia left the room.
Chel walked outside the courtyard as the ship landed. The doors opened and a young boy with dark brown hair came running outside. For the first time in what seemed to be a long time, a smile grew across Chel's lips as she kneeled down and opened her arms wide open for Teddy to run into. She embraced the young boy and kissed his head as she held him close to her heart. Soon Miguel and Topaz holding Melody's small hand in her, joined them. Chel and Teddy broke apart and Melody walked over to her aunt.
''How was she feeling?'' Chel asked and looked up at her parents. Topaz sighed and hooked arm his her husband.
''Us being there seemed to help her slightly, but she's just like I remembered her. Stubborn like never before.'' The queen said and smiled by the thought of her mother.
''I'm thinking about go and visit her for a couple of days, I can need some time away from here.'' Chel sighed sadly and brushed of Teddy's jacket.
''What a great idea, maybe you should take Paris and Teddy with you. I know that your grandmother would like that.'' Topaz smiled and took a hold of Melody's hand again before she and Miguel went inside. Chel stood up and grabbed Teddy's hand and they went to sit down by the fountain.
''There is something that I need to tell you.'' Chel began and stroke Teddy over his head as he looked up at her with his big brown eyes.
''Paris won't be living here with us here at the palace anymore.'' She added.
''Then where is he going to live?'' The young boy asked.
''Paris and Jack has moved to another building a bit away from here. You see honey, Paris and I we're not going to be together anymore.''
''But this doesn't have to change that much. Paris caring about you, that hasn't changed. He will still come and visit you here, this doesn't mean that Paris is going to disappeared out of your life.'' Chel could see the pain in Teddy's eyes. And if she could take it away from him, then she would.
Three long tables filled with young men facing to the end of the room where Zandra and Paris stood.
''You all know that there is going to be some changes around here. And one is about to be made right now.'' Zandra said.
''Paris and I have thought about how to improve your concentration, therefore improve your battle-skills.'' A soft mumble could be heard around in the grand hall.
''What does it mean?'' A boy with ginger hair put in a short pony-tail in his neck asked. Zandra sighed and folded her arms.
''It means no relationships, not anything sexual, and this because the energy that they waste on that should be used to improve your skills and concentration.'' The entire room filled up with protests and chattering.
''You can't be serious?!'' Jack asked in disbelief and angrily and all heads turned to him. Zandra tilted her head slightly and frowned her eyebrows.
''Does it look like I'm joking?'' She spat angrily. Jack sat still with his chin hung open for a few seconds before he turned his head to look at Paris standing with his gaze onto the floor.
''Say something then.'' Jack spat. Paris looked up and shrugged his shoulders.
''What am I suppose to say? If Zandra wants to do this then I can't stop her.'' He said and walked down the two steps to Zandra.
''And honestly, for many reasons I agree with her that this might not be such a bad idea. It's at least worth a try.'' Paris added. Jack's face turned into a strange grimace before his head turned back to Zandra.
''But why? We didn't have this nonsense when Leon where here, and we did just fine!'' He hissed slightly.
''But Leon isn't here! And he left me and Paris in charge.''
''You can find the contract in front of you. Just read it through and put your signature on it.'' Zandra said. Many of the man hesitated and looked at each other for a moment.
''And if we don't?'' Jack asked. Zandra looked at him for a few seconds before walking over to the main-doors and opened it. Jack glared angrily over at Paris before raising from his chair and took the long walk over to Zandra with his head held high as the others sat and watched quietly.
''Don't forget to leave your uniform.'' Zandra called after him before closing the door and turned back to look at the others.
''Anyone else fancy to leave?'' She asked. The others waited another few seconds to see if their friends left. But as they all knew what they would walk away from and what they would face outside the gates, they where all better of to sigh the contract.
Amazonia sat at the bunk down at the healers office, taking of the bandage on her arm. Tulio sat on the chair besides her and stroke her leg softly.
''I can't believe that she took a blood-test. I hate getting shots.'' She whined and grunted.
''It's just precaution, that's all.'' Tulio replied her. Amazonia was about to reply but didn't have the opportunity as the healer came out from a room next door with a kind smile of her lips.
''So princess, I can't see any singularity in your blood-results. But you said that you fainted?'' The older woman asked.
''I got dizzy.'' Amazonia replied her.
''She fainted.'' Tulio corrected.
''For like a second.'' Amazonia added. The healer nodded her head and took out a small flashlight and took a closer look at Amazonia's eyes.
''You feel okey now?'' She asked. Amazonia nodded.
''Okey, I'm just going to do a small examination just in case. If everything seem alright you're good to go, but it's probably best if I keep an closer eye on you.''
Chel quietly walked through the palace, avoiding to be seen. Even if she where, it probably wouldn't matter but she preferred to do this in secret. Eventually she found the door she was looking for and went inside only to meet Musa's personal maid Virena inside.
''Your highness? What brings you here?'' The young woman asked her princess as she placed a bottle of shampoo onto the shelf.
''Virena? Hi. I was just going to get some⦠soap!'' She chuckled nervously and pointed towards the shelf of soap bottles besides her.
''Yes, soap. Run out of soap, got to have soap.'' Chel added and smiled sweetly trying to act as calm as possible. Virena frowned her eyebrows slightly, but it wasn't her place to question the princess hygiene matters.
''Well, I can bring you some after I'm done with my here.'' The maid and placed another two bottles onto the shelf. Chel shook her head.
''No, I can manage.'' Virena nodded and turned her back to another boxes with supplies. Chel looked around for a second looking for the shelf of boxes that she needed, and to her annoyance she found it just by Virena. Of course she could come back later, but she wanted to do this as fast as possible. She thought for a second before walking over to the young woman and leaned against the shelves with a smile on her lips and her hands behind her back. Virena looked at the princess and she knew that Chel was kind and had a big heart, but right now she was starting to creep her out.
''How are you? Musa treating you well?'' Chel asked.
''Yes, very well. I'm very thankful for this job.'' Virena smiled slightly and continued to unpack the boxes.
''Good, well nice talking to you.'' Chel smiled and turned around to leave again. When she was only a few inches from the door the maid called her name making her to freeze and nervously turn back. Virena smiled and took a bottle of soap from the shelf and reached it over to the princess.
''Don't forget your soap.'' A stone fell from Chel's chest. She thought she had been caught, like a child with their fingers in the cookie-jar.
''Right.'' Chel smiled and took the bottle before exiting the storage-room. Outside she reached back and grabbed the small box from underneath her shirt and between her jeans. A pregnancy test. She sighed deeply before putting the box inside her sleeve.
The minute they closed the meeting, Paris rushed up to Jack's bedroom. He knew that Jack was angry at him, but he also knew that Jack would regret leaving the mansion. As he stopped outside the bedroom that he used to share with Jack, he knocked at the door and waited for someone to open it. When nobody did, he grabbed the handle and let himself in to find Jack packing his bag and the black uniform folded into a neatly pile onto the desk.
''Don't do this, it's not what you want.'' Paris said and watched as Jack angrily dragged his clothes from the wardrobe and throwed them into the bag placed onto the bed.
''I'm not going to stay here and let the psychopathic bitch trying to control my life.'' Jack hissed angrily as he continued his packing.
''Can't you think this whole thing through? Like where are you going?'' Paris asked. Jack closed the zipper of the bed and walked over to the door and grabbed his jacket.
''I have already talked to Amazonia, I'm going back to the palace for a couple of days. Then who knows.'' Jack walked back to the bed and throwed the bag over his shoulder and was about to leave, but Paris placed his hand onto Jack's shoulder making his to stop.
''Just listen to me for a second. It won't be the same if you leave. And I know that it's non of my business, but you know what I think about your sex-life and I think that this might be a good experience for you.'' Jack shook his head and rolled his eyes before taking a step foreward but was pushed back by Paris again.
''As your best friend, I'm asking your to stay. Please?'' Paris said. Jack looked back at him for a few second before growling irritated.
''I won't let Zandra controlling my private life. When she tells me to jump, I'm not going to ask how high.'' Jack said as he dropped the bag to the floor and folded his arms across his chest.
''I understand that. If you just sign the papers for the moment, I'm going to try convincing her to take it back.'' Jack was still not fond of the idea, but after the things he and Paris had gone through he wouldn't be a really good friend if he didn't atleast try. So he accepted and the two friends walked together to Paris's and Zandra's study where they found Zandra sitting behind the desk. The noise of the door opened made her look up from the papers she was working with and raised her eyebrows at Jack.
''You're still here?'' She asked sarcastically. Paris gave her a warning glare.
''Stop it!'' He spat and took a contract and pen and gave it to Jack. For another hesitating seconds, Jack looked at the contract before sighing deeply and put his signature on it. It was done, he had just sighed away his rights to a private life, one of the most important things to him. He gave Zandra a disliking look before leaving the study in silence.
The white twinkling stars shone beautifully at the midnight-blue sky. Amazonia stood outside onto the balcony in the soft night breeze blowing in her light-green night-dress revealing her growing stomach. Tulio stood leaning against the doorframe smiling lovingly at his wife.
''You're so beautiful.'' He said and sighed satisfied. Amazonia turned around to look at him with a smile of her light pink fully lips.
''It's because I'm pregnant right? That's what I've heard about pregnant woman.'' She said flirtatious and turned her back towards him again. Tulio laughed slightly and walked the few steps over to her and brushed her long brown hair away from her shoulder before planting a soft kiss onto her neck.
''It's more then that.'' He whispered as he wrapped his arms around her waist and placed his hands onto her stomach. Amazonia smiled wider and turned her head slightly and planted a kiss onto his cheek.
''There is something that I wanted to talk to you about.'' She sighed slightly and brushed her brown locks over her shoulder.
''I want to be close to he sea when I give birth to the baby. Somewhere it will only be us.'' Amazonia said and placed her hands on top of his resting on her stomach. Tulio smiled and nodded.
''We can go to our beach house, it's not really far away from here. It's sad that it's empty most of the time. I haven't been there for years. But it's beautiful, it's placed just by he sea. You will love it.'' Amazonia's face glowed up and the couple shared a tender kiss.
Chel passed back and fourth into her bedroom nervously. In the corner of violet eyes, she got a glimpse of the different photographs placed onto the sideboard. She walks over to it and looks at them all. Riven and Tulio, Melody, her parents was among them, but what really captured her attention was the one with both Teddy and Paris smiling at her. She sighed sadly before walking inside into the bathroom. Slowly she made her way over to the counter and the white stick laying on top of it. The stick feel to the floor and Chel drops down onto the toilet with her chin hanging wide open.
''I'm pregnant.'' She whispered in disbelief.
Chel is pregnant, could that really be? What is she going to do now? Is she going to tell Paris or is she going to take care of it?
Is Amazonia really okey? Why does this things keep happening to her?
Jack was about to turn his back on Paris and the mansion, did he make the right decision to stay? What will Zandra do next?
Next time, A few new characters arrive and Paris gets jealous.
