Now you are just somebody that I used to know

It was a warm and sunny day. At the beach house, the ocean waves flushed upon the beach and birds sang somewhere in distance. Breanna, dressed in her bright yellow bikini with white polka-dots, walked outside from the living-room with two cold drinks in her hands. It has past a few days, and Jack and Breanna have been becoming good friends. She walked over to Jack sitting into one of the sun loungers onto the beach and sat down in the other one before giving him one of the drinks.

''Thanks.'' He said and sat up and took a sip.

''Isn't this perfect? I can't remember when I was at the beach the last time.'' Breanna said as she leaned back and pulled her sunglasses down from her forehead. Jack nodded his head and sighed in pleasure.

''No, I can really get used to this.'' He said before turning to look at Breanna. He was quiet for a second and hesitated, but eventually plucked up the courage to ask.

''I hope you don't mind me asking.'' He began, making Breanna turn around to look at him.

''How did you got involved in drugs. You don't seem like a girl to do something like that.'' He added. Breanna sighed and took of her sunglasses again.

''It was... it was really stupid. I was stupid enough to try it, then you can't stop. You're constantly walking around with your head above the clouds. There is no better feeling then that.'' Breanna began.

''But then I meet this girl that offered me heavier stuff, and I was to careless. I took an overdose and I'm lucky to still be alive.'' Breanna added before a warm smile spread across her lips.

''It was my niece that saved my life. Her name is Abigail, she's nine.'' Breanna beamed by the thought of the young girl. Jack smiled.

''She made me see sense. So I spend almost an year in rehab, but it was all worth it in the end because I got a second chance to a better life.'' She added.

''I'm glad you made it, because of it I got to meet you.'' Jack smiled and Breanna blushed slightly.

''Thanks Jack.'' She smiled back before standing up and walked down to the water. Jack looked after her, before his phone beeped onto the small table placed between the loungers. He took it and read the text-message he had received. It was from Kimberly, the girl he had meet into the market.

''Miss you, how about you come over tonight?'' He read quietly. He looked up at Breanna when he heard her call for him to join her into the water. Jack didn't have to be asked twice, he deleted the message before joining Breanna into the water.

Paris and Amazonia sat into Paris's study at the mansion after being at the healer for Amazonia's usual check-ups. Miguel had sent Tulio and Riven on an important government mission early that same morning, so Paris had offered to go with her in Tulio's place.

''Okey, come on.'' Paris said and looked at her. Amazonia frowned her eyebrows.

''What?'' She asked.

''Who was the guy at the palace? The one that had chased after Chel.'' Paris leaned over the desk. Amazonia still didn't seem to understand what he meant.

''What guy?''

''Amazonia! The Duke or whatever, Anthony.'' Paris said with gritted teeth and slammed his fist into the desk before standing up and walked over to the windows.

''Yeah him.'' Amazonia rolled her eyes.

''It's such a stupid name, it sounds like a cartoon character!'' Paris hissed as he walked back and forth across the room.

''What's he like?'' He whispered and stopped to look at her. Amazonia thought for a second before shrugging her shoulders.

''He's nice I guess.'' She replied him.

''Just the thought of her with another guy makes me sick!'' Paris hissed again as he gritted his teeth. He kept on picturing Chel and Anthony together and it started to itch over his entire body.

''They had lunch once. I don't think you need to worry.'' Amazonia said and placed her hands to rest onto her growing stomach. Paris snorted and walked back to sit down.

''It's all in your head!'' She added with a loud voice making Paris frown his eyebrow.

''What do you mean?'' He asked.

''In your imagination.'' She added.

Back at the palace, Chel was in her room packing for hers and Teddy's visit to Ruby. She glanced at the clock to check the time before going inside her walk-in-closet and looked at her clothes. She sighed deeply before her palm went to rest on her stomach and turned her head to look at her reflection in the full-length mirror. Nobody knew about the baby yet, but since she was only seven weeks into the pregnancy she wasn't showing yet.

''Still, packing some loose clothes can't hurt.'' She said and separated a few loose-fitting tunics and dresses with magic before going back inside the room and placed them into the suit-case. Chel thought for a second before going back into the closet and over to her jewellery box and dug through the bracelets and necklaces. She grabbed one and pulled it up to take a look at it and sadness washed over her. It was a thick golden bracelet with a delicate flower-pattern carving, that Paris had given her not long after they first got together. She sighed sadly before she placed her palm onto her stomach again. Even if she was glad about this baby, she couldn't help to wish that the circumstances where different. Because sooner or later she needed to let Paris know.

Musa and Amazonia sat down having a conversation into the kitchen while Musa saw feeding Melody into her high-chair.

''You should have seen him. He was absolutely heartbroken, it was horrible.'' Amazonia said. Musa glanced over at her sister-in-law and sighed.

''I just wished that she would tell us about what happened.'' Musa replied her. Amazonia started to think about the dream she had the other night. There was something strange about it, and it felt like something more than just a dream.

''Hello? Am?'' Musa said and waved the plastic spoon in front of Amazonia's face making her snap out her thoughts. She wasn't able to reply before Tulio and Riven walked in through the doors after coming home from their mission. Riven walked up behind Musa and wrapped his arms around her shoulders and planted a kiss onto her neck, making her giggle. Tulio walked over to his wife and planted a light-blue paper bag with thin white stripes in front of her. Amazonia clapped her hands in joy.

''Mint and Chocolate cake and fresh strawberries, just like her highness ordered.'' Tulio said before taking the seat next to her. Amazonia pecked into the bag before turning to Tulio and kissed him onto the lips.

''You're the best.'' She said before taking the small pastry and the fresh strawberries out of the bag.

''You obviously have started to crave.'' Musa laughed as she and Riven took a strawberry each, from the box Amazonia had reached out to them.

''She's craving around the clock.'' Tulio said as he put a strawberry into his mouth. Amazonia took a spoon full of cake and put it into her own mouth.

''Don't blame me, blame your son.'' She replied him. Tulio rolled his eyes.

''Here she goes again.'' He laughed.

''Why don't you just find out the sex of the baby.'' Riven asked.

''Paris knows, but I've sworn him to keep quiet.'' Amazonia said before taking another spoon full of cake.

''Well, I'm going to get it out of him.'' Musa said and lifted Melody up from her high-chair and placed her on top of the counted.

''No.'' Amazonia giggled. Tulio stood up and placed his hands on top of Amazonia's shoulders.

''Is Chel still here?'' He asked.

''I think she's still in her room packing.'' Musa replied him. Tulio nodded.

''I... I'm going up to her for awhile.'' He said before exiting the kitchen. Amazonia frowned her eyebrows slightly and looked after him.

Paris sat into his and Zandra's study on the phone with Jack. In front of him laid an open magazine with a picture of himself and Chel with a broken heart in between.

''Mine and Paris break-up where difficult, but we both decided that it was for the best to just be friends. I'll always treasure the time we shared together and a part of me will always love Paris.'' Paris read out load before taking the magazine and threw it across the room in anger.

''Lies! It's all a big fat lie.'' He hissed in rage.

''Have you talked to her about it?'' Jack asked. Paris growled.

''I tried to reach her, but she won't take my calls.'' He replied him.

''Why don't you and visit her? Make her talk to you.'' Paris groaned and leaned back into his chair.

''She's leaving to see her grandmother. In fact, I think she has already left.'' Paris replied him.

''Go there then! Come on dude, if you want some answers you need to fight a little bit.'' Jack said, and he was right.

Chel stood packing the last of her things when there was a knock on the door.

''Come in.'' She called as she closed her suit-case and she could hear the door open and close, before someone stepping inside. She turned around and saw Tulio looking at her.

''Your ship is waiting. Teddy's down into the throne-room with mom and dad.'' He said and walked over to her and sat down onto the bed. Chel nodded and closed the sipper onto the suit-case before going over to her dresser where her purse stood. Tulio hesitated for a second, because deep down he already knew the answer.

''How are you feeling?'' He asked. Ever since he had lied to her about Paris and Zandra, Chel had kept to herself or being with Teddy, expect the days Anthony had been there visiting for her birthday.

''I'm fine.'' Lies. Tulio knew that she was in pain. Even if he hated to cause his sister this pain, but he did believe that Chel would be much better off without Paris. He stood up and walked over to her and placed a concerned hand onto her shoulder.

''I know you're not. You might be able to fool every journalist in the galaxy, but you can't fool your family.'' He said. Chel sighed and ran a hand through her long flaming locks.

''Okay, I'm not fine. But I will be.'' She said and sat down next to him onto the bed.

''Of course you will. It's going to take some time, but you will get over this.'' He said and put his arms around her shoulder as she leaned her head to rest onto his shoulder.

''Paris is like a stranger to me now. He's just somebody that I used to know.'' It was another knock on the door and Amazonia pecked inside.

''Hi.'' She said with a smile and slowly walked inside.

''They are down there waiting for you, are you done?'' She added. Chel nodded and stood up.

''I'm ready to go.'' She replied and grabbed the handle onto her suit-case, but was stopped by Tulio.

''I'll help you with that.'' He said and lifted the bag and Chel put on her coat before the two siblings walked outside leaving Amazonia alone. Amazonia stayed and folded her arms across her chest.

''She won't talk to anybody, except Tulio. What's going on here?'' She whispered and frowned her eyebrows in suspicion.

Chel stood into the living-room in Ruby's house, looking outside the garden where Teddy played with her youngest cousin Adam who where the same age as Teddy. She smiled at the sight of the two young boys running around laughing together. With everything going on at the moment, Chel was glad that Teddy had someone in his own age to be around, keeping his mind of the fact that she and Paris where no longer together.

''He's such a sweet boy, Teddy.'' She heard a voice from behind and turned around to see Ruby standing behind her.

''What are you doing running around on your feet? You should be resting.'' Chel said worriedly and placed a concerned hand onto the older woman shoulder. Ruby's illness had slowly started to make her weak and soon she wouldn't be able to do anything on her own. Chel was glad that she could help, and she wanted to spend the much time together with her grandmother as possible. Ever since Topaz had reunited with her mother and the rest of her family, Ruby had grown to be important to Chel, her brothers and the rest of her family. Ruby knocked into the floor with her cane.

''I might not be an youth anymore, but I'm not dead yet.'' She said as she made her way over to the couch and sat down. It didn't take long until she started to couch. Chel hurried over to her and poured up a glass of water from the carafe onto the coffee table and gave it to Ruby.

''Do you want anything? I can make you some tea.'' She asked as Ruby drank from the glass. The older woman shook her head and leaned back and sighed deeply.

''Just sit here with me for a minute.'' Ruby said and took Chel's hand into her pale one.

''I want to hear what has been going on in your life.'' She added with a weak smile. Now it was Chel's turn to sigh.

''It's a little bit more complicated than it should be.'' The princess replied sadly. Ruby tilted her head slightly and patted Chel's hand lightly.

''Why don't you tell me about it?'' Chel hesitated for a second. She wasn't sure if she was ready that anyone would find out about the baby just yet. But she knew that Ruby wouldn't tell anyone, and it might help so share this with someone rather than to keep it locked inside herself. Chel took a deep breath.

''To make a long story short. Paris is in a relationship with somebody else, and now I'm pregnant with his baby.'' She said sadly and looked down into her lap.

''And now I don't know what I'm supposed to do.'' She added as her eyes started to watered. Ruby nodded her head slowly.

''Paris, does he know about the baby?'' Chel shook her head.

''If he did, what do you think he would do?'' Ruby added.

''He would everything he could, he might have even proposed.'' Chel whispered quietly.

''Isn't that what you want?'' Ruby asked and frowned her eyebrows. Chel stood up and walked back over to the windows.

''I want Paris to be with me because he want to, not for any baby. I'm not going to be an obligation.'' Chel said before a quite signal came from her purse that laid into the arm-chair opposite them. Chel hurried over to it and took up her cell-phone and sighed. Paris. She couldn't keep avoiding him anymore.

''Paris?'' She answered. It was quiet for a few seconds before she heard Paris voice on the other side of the line.

''Hi.'' He replied her.

''I only called to tell you that I'm on my way to see you.'' He added.

''No! I don't want you to.'' Chel hissed.

''I can't keep living like this. You own me an explanation.'' He hissed back at her. Chel tugged at the fabric at her blouse. If there was someone that deserved an explanation, she believed that it was her. An explanation why he had spent that entire night with Zandra when he was suppose to be engaged to her. But maybe it was time to face Paris, because sooner or later she had to.

''Fine.'' She sighed.

Is Amazonia starting to come closer to the truth about what really happened between Paris and Chel? Or will Chel tell Paris the truth about what Tulio showed her?

I hoped that you all had a wonderful and joyful Christmas and I wish you all a Happy New 2014.

Next time. Paris and Chel talk, yet another strange thing happens to Amazonia, things start to heat up between Jack and Breanna, and Zandra makes an disturbing discovery.
