What's left to say
After dinner, Teddy and Adam went upstairs while Chel sat with Ruby drinking tea in the living-room. Paris should be here any minute now, and Chel nervously sat stirring into her tea.
''Don't worry, you'll handle this perfectly.'' Ruby said as she patted Chel's leg. Chel snapped out of her thoughts and smiled. In that moment, there was a knock on the door and every vein in Chel's body froze for a second before she slowly made her way through the long hallway and to the front door and opened it. Outside, there he stood. Gorgeous as ever.
''Hey.'' Paris whispered.
''Hey yourself.'' She replied him with a sigh. They stood there quite for a second before Paris nodded his head inside.
''May I?'' He asked.
''I guess you might as well.'' Chel said and stepped aside for him to be able to enter. Chel closed the door as Paris walked inside the living-room.
''Hi Mrs. Wilmer, nice to see you again. How are you feeling?'' Paris said friendly and shook Ruby's small hand.
''Better then I look, I'm sure.'' Ruby chuckled. Paris smiled as he looked at Chel standing next to him. Ruby was wise and she knew when it was the cue for her to leave.
''You two stay down here and talk, I'll go up and see after the children.'' Ruby said and slowly walked up the stairs. When she was gone, Chel turned to Paris and folded her arms across her chest.
''Alright, you say what you have to say. I don't like you walk in and out of Teddy's life, it won't come any good from it.'' Chel hissed in a whisper.
''I had no intention of being away from him in the first place.'' Paris hissed back at her.
''Are you implying that this is my fault?!'' Chel gasped. Paris was about to reply him but instead he took a deep breath.
''Look, I didn't come here to fight.'' He said. Chel placed her hands onto her hips and frowned her eyebrows.
''Then why are you here Paris.'' She asked.
''Because of this.'' Paris hissed and reached inside his jacket and took out a folded magazine with Chel and Anthony onto the front-page.
''What is your relationship to that guy?'' He said and gave Chel the magazine.
''Tony is an old friend to me and my brothers. We played together when we were kids.'' Chel said irritated.
''Besides, we are broken up. Why do you care? You have Zandra right?'' She spat at him and gave him back the magazine. Paris was about to yell at her, but he crumbled the magazine to a ball of paper to calm himself down.
''Because I'm jealous, okay? I wanted to rip his head off.'' He hissed in a whisper.
''Well, there is nothing to be jealous about.'' Chel said and walked past him and over to look out through the windows. Paris looked after her and ran a hand through his dark brown hair.
''It's been driving me nuts, the way you just passed me over to Zandra. I knew that there was something more to this, so I talked to Amazonia.'' He said. Chel turned around to look at him again with an irritated glare.
''You shouldn't have done that.'' She said
''If something happened that was so huge that you felt you had to leave me, I think I deserve to find out what it was.''
''There isn't anything to know.'' She said and folded her arms across her chest.
''Then what the hell Chel? What is this?'' Paris hissed and walked over to her.
''You and Zandra will…'' Chel began but Paris interrupted her and grabbed her shoulder and spun her around to face him.
''Stop talking about Zandra, Chel! What is scaring you off? What have I done to you? Tell me, help me understand.'' He said. Chel sighed.
''I want you to be happy with Zandra! I know you can.'' Chel took a hold onto Paris's shoulder and leaned in slightly.
''I'm not the person you want to be with.'' She whispered. Paris shook his head.
''That is not for you to decide.'' He said and placed his hands onto her waist and pulled her slightly towards her.
''I got a better idea. Come home with me.'' He whispered and leaned down towards her face. When they where only a few inches apart, Chel turned her face away.
''No Paris, no.'' She said.
''Why not?!'' He sighed.
''Paris just go! Be with Zandra.'' She yelled and backed away.
Breanna and Jack sat outside by the sea and talking.
''Wasn't it difficult to grow up that way you have? Not being able to do what you want, or go where you want .'' Breanna asked let out her long auburn hair from her pony-tail. Jack thought for a second before shaking his head.
''It was never like that, not for me anyway. I had Leon that took care of us, I had Paris and I never really wanted to go somewhere, I had everything that I needed and I've had a good life.'' Jack said. Breanna looked at him and was about to say something but wasn't sure if she should ask or how.
''How did you end up there?'' She asked finally. Jack looked at her for a second before sadly looking down into his lap. Breanna noticed that she just had entered forbidden grounds and shook her head.
''You don't have to explain, I'm sorry.'' She said, but Jack shook his head and looked at her again.
''No it's okay.'' He said with a sad smile before taking a deep sigh.
''I've known Leon my whole life, he was a good friend to my parents.'' He began and looked out over the sea.
''My father he was the nicest guy I have ever known, but he had problems. Gambling problems. And when I was seven, he couldn't repay the debt to the man he had borrowed from so we had to go into hiding because he treated to kill me and my mom. But eventually he found out where we was and he shot my parents. If Leon hadn't showed up when he did, he would have put a bullet through me to.''
''That's awful.'' Breanna said with sympathy in her voice.
''But Leon got his revenge, he always did. My dad died in Leon's arms and his last wish was that he would take me with him, and he did. Leon might have done many horrible things, but no matter what he always took care of all of us. Even if he didn't have to. And even though I miss my parents, I have a good life with Leon.'' Jack finished with a smile. Breanna smiled back at him .
''Thanks for telling me.'' She said.
''Thanks for listening.'' He replied her. It past a few second before she grinned mischievously before taking a hand of sand and threw it at him, then she quickly got on her feet and ran away.
''Oh now you're gonna get it.'' He laughed as he as well got onto his feet and chased after her. They played around for a few seconds before Breanna ran into the ocean making her slow down and he eventually caught up with her and lifted her up bridal style and twisted her and himself around as they both laughed. He put her back down into the water as they took some time to catch their breath. While they did so, Jack looked close at the young girl before him. At her flawless tanned skin, her long auburn wet hair that blew against her face, button nose, light pink medium size lips and her large emerald eyes that he thought longer for him, just as much as his longed for her. In this moment, when the ocean waves hit against their bare legs, Jack brushed his fingers against her naked skin, from the shoulder-blades down her back and stopped at her waist. She was so smooth and soft. As they brought their faces closer and closer as they breathed heavily, Breanna placed her hands on his waist. When they where only millimetres away, their lips barely brushed against each other, Breanna quickly pulled away and stepped backwards.
''No. I shouldn't have done that.'' She said without looking at him. Jack just stood frozen looking at her, the pain that he was feeling.. For years he had kissed girls, touched them in so many ways that wouldn't be considered neither gently or passionate. For years he had been a lowlife, a spineless creature that had thought of girl like objects for his own pleasure. But with Breanna it was so much different. He slowly reached out for her, but she started to walk up from the ocean and back to the beach house. With a heavy heart he watched her disappear inside and he followed her lead and went up from the ocean and sat down onto the deck connected to the house. He growled in frustration and ran his hands through his raven hair. For what felt like hours, even though it just was a couple of minutes, he sat there starring out on the ocean waves flushing upon the white sand beach.
Zandra sat into her study looking through the economy. Ever since Paris left she hadn't been able to concentrate completely at her work. She almost didn't even notice when she came across something strange into one of the bank accounts.
''What the?'' She said and stood up and walked over to the bookcase and took a file folder and looked through it and walked back and sat down behind the desk. She flipped through the pages, but when she couldn't find an explanation, she leaned back into her chair and ran a hand through her auburn hair and sighed worriedly.
''Eleven millions. It's missing eleven millions.'' She whispered.
Tulio sat together with Riven and Musa into the kitchen talking. Amazonia came in through the doors with a wide smile onto her pink lips.
''I have the best news, well hopefully.'' Amazonia smiled and walked over to Tulio and sat down next to him.
''Paris called me awhile ago, he's on his way to see Chel. He's probably already there.'' She added. Tulio's stomach twisted for a moment, this could destroy everything. His sister was not going to get back together with Paris. Musa groaned in relief.
''Yes! Now they finally might get back together.'' She said and ran a hand through her midnight blue hair. Riven frowned his eyebrow slightly.
''I'm not sure about that. By the look of how she's been acting lately, there must be something that's really bothering her.'' He said. Tulio nodded in agreement.
''No.'' Amazonia sighed as she looked through her purse. Tulio turned around to look at his wife.
''What is it?'' He asked.
''I must have forgotten my wallet into our bedroom.'' She said and was about to stand up, but Tulio stopped her.
''Stay here. I'll go get it for you.'' He said and stood up. Amazonia smiled and sat back down.
''Thank you.'' She said as he leaned down to plant a kiss onto her lips. Musa looked at Riven and frowned her eyebrow.
''Why don't you ever take me out shopping?'' She asked. Riven turned to look at her.
''They are going out shopping stuff for the baby.'' He replied her. Musa crossed her legs and rested her elbow onto the counter.
''Well, maybe I want another baby.'' Riven went pale for a second and turned to look at his brother that looked just as bewildered as he was. He turned back to Musa.
''You can have a puppy.'' Musa thought for a second and shrugged her shoulders.
''Fine.'' She said. Riven smiled and the two shared a kiss. Tulio stepped outside the kitchen and reached down his pocket and grabbed his phone and dialled his sisters number before putting it against his ear and waited for someone to pick up. Chel's cell phone rang and she looked at Paris before walking over to the coffee-table and picked it up and answered.
''Hi.'' She said.
''Hey, what's going on over there?'' He asked. Chel turned around to look at Paris and folded her free arm across her chest.
''It's fine. Why?'' She asked and frowned her eyebrow slightly.
''I just wanted to see how you were doing, I know you are going through a hard time right now.'' Tulio said. Chel just looked down into the floor and only gave him a weak grunt in response.
''But you'll get past this, you are strong enough. You deserve better than him, both you and Teddy does, just have that in mind.'' Chel sighed and nodded.
''I know, I will.'' She replied him.
''Good, I'll talk to you tomorrow. I love you.'' He said.
''I love you too.'' Chel said before she hung up. Paris raised his eyebrow slightly and folded his arms across his chest.
''Who was it?'' He asked. Chel grunted slightly and placed her phone back onto the table.
''If you really have to know, it was my brother.'' She hissed. Paris nodded.
''Back to the subject.'' He said.
''We've nothing else to talk about. The decision has been made.'' She said and walked over to the window, and looked outside.
''And I don't get a vote? This is about me too Chel, and I don't want to lose you.'' Paris yelled and pointed his index finger at her.
''This isn't right. Because you never give up on anything.'' He added. Chel turned her head slightly, but turned back to look out the window.
''Do you expect me to believe that you just suddenly stopped loving me? Because I don't. I don't buy that you think I would be happier with Zandra. There is more to the story. There is. And you're keeping something from me. I just wish I knew what.'' He sighed and shook his head.
''You know what?'' Chel said and turned back to face him.
''I've changed my mind. I'm going to tell you everything.'' She said. Paris frowned his eyebrows.
Zandra had spent the entire day solving the mystery of the missing millions. Even if they would be just fine without the money, it was still very unpleasant that someone had transferred money from the mansions accounts to their own. She had managed to find out which bank account the money had been transferred to and was now talking to an old friend of Leon's working at the bank to find out who it belonged to. Usually, they weren't allowed to give out that kind of information. But since Zandra was Leon's niece, he made an exception and had mailed the information to her.
''Are you sure that this is correct?'' Zandra asked in surprise as she looked at the name of the person the account belonged to. The man on the other side of the phone assured her that it was correct.
''Alright then, thank you for your help.'' She said before she hung up the phone. She looked at the paper and sighed.
''It belongs to Nick.'' She whispered.
Paris stood and looked at her with frowned eyebrows.
''Tell me what?'' He asked. Chel folded her arms over her chest and glared at him angrily.
''I know what happened between you and Zandra that night!'' Chel yelled at him.
''Nothing happened between Zandra and me.'' Paris yelled. Chel was getting angrier by the minute.
''Oh so you didn't kiss either?'' She spat. Paris's chin dropped, he had completely forgotten about that. But how could she have known about that?
''How, how did you know?'' He asked.
''You're not even going to deny it?'' Chel hissed in spite. Paris hide his face into his palms for a second before running his hands through his hair and sighed heavily.
''Alright, it's true. We kissed in the heat of the moment. It was just that all of the memories came back and it only for a few seconds but we pulled away right away.'' He said. Chel faked a smile and nodded.
''Of course, and then you went upstairs to finish what you started?'' She glared at him angrily. Paris frowned his eyebrows.
''What? What are you talking about?'' He asked. Chel growled angrily.
''The same night you promised to come back to me, you and Zandra…'' She said with disgust. Paris shook his head.
''No, we went back to the celebration and then we went back to our separate rooms. I promise you.'' Of course, he wasn't going to admit the kiss before and he would continue to deny this.
''You must take me for an complete idiot.'' She hissed again and stood up and walked across the room. Paris walked after her.
''This is insane.'' He whispered.
''You got want you wanted, you should go now.'' Chel said as a tear ran down her cheek.
''Chel.''
''Now Paris.'' Paris sighed and reached out to touch her shoulder, but dropped it back to his side.
''Is this really what you want?'' He asked. Chel didn't answer him, just remained quiet.
''I love you.'' He said before leaving the house, and went back home to Eldorado. Chel sat down onto the couch and cried for awhile until she heard light footsteps coming down the stairs and she turned around to see Teddy walking down the stairs dressed in his pajamas.
''Are you still awake?'' Chel smiled as he walked towards her.
''Are you crying?'' He asked. Chel shook her head and pulled him up to sit next to her.
''No baby, I'm just tired.'' She said and stroke him over his head. Tulio was right, they would be just fine. She could take care of Teddy and the baby without Paris, they would be just fine.
Breanna walked outside onto the deck again after taking in the dishes, and sat down next to Jack. The sun had almost set behind the horizon and they sat there together watching the sunset in silence. Many minutes past before Jack turned around to look at Breanna.
''There is something about you, something that makes me feel something I have never experienced before. I'm in agony.'' He said. Breanna looked at him without moving a single muscle in her body, she sat completely frozen.
''The closer I get to you the worse it gets.'' Jack added and looked down at her hand and gripped a hold of it with his own and squeezed it slightly. Breanna looked down at their hands for a second before pulling back her own.
''If you're suffering just as much as I am, please tell me.'' He looked at her with pleading eyes. Breanna looked at him for a second and her emerald eyes meet his, before she turned away and clutched onto the cushion laying besides her.
''I can't. We can't, It's just not possible.'' She whispered and sighed deeply. Jack took a grab of her shoulders and made her look at him again.
''Everything is possible, listen to me.'' He said, but she shook her head before standing up and walking across the deck and turned to look at him again.
''No you listen! If we would give in to our feelings, it would take us to a place neither one of us can go.'' She said sadly. He stood up and walked over to her.
''Then you do feel something?'' He asked and took another step closer to her. She gulped hard and looked up into his eyes again.
''I don't know you, and you don't know me.'' She said and folded her arms across her chest.
''Do you think that I enjoy feeling this way? Believe me, I wish that I just could forget all about my feelings for you… but I can't.'' He took both of her hands in his and looked her deep into the eyes once again, before Breanna looked in another direction.
''It can never happen Jack.'' She said finally. Jack admitted himself defeated and nodded sadly, before going over to the door leading inside. Breanna looked after him with a lump in her throat. Halfway inside through the door, he suddenly turned around and looked at her again.
''Well you know, it doesn't have to change anything. We could keep it a secret, nobody has to know.'' He whispered.
''We would be living a lie, I could never be able to do so. Could you really live like that?'' She asked him. Jack thought for a second.
''If it's the only way for us to be together, then yes. But as you said, it can never happen.'' He said weakly before going inside, leaving Breanna all alone.
Don't really know what to say, kind of speechless. I guess I just want to thank you for reading and reviewing.
Next time, Amazonia shows to have some sort of gift, Zandra has a really bad day and Tulio let's something slip.
