Baby, you're a firework
Amazonia and Tulio still were into their bedroom, Amazonia angrier than she ever had been.
''I can't believe you! What were you thinking?'' Amazonia hissed furiously at her husband. Tulio placed his hands on top of her shoulders, but she quickly pulled away and walked across the room and stopped with her back facing towards him.
''Calm down, think of the baby!'' Tulio said and placed his hands onto his waist. Amazonia turned back around and glared angrily at him.
''Think of the baby? Was that what you were doing when you put us into this situation? You say that you did it for the sake of Chel's feelings and you would spare her the pain when Paris would leave her?''
''No Tulio, you didn't do this for your sister or anybody else but yourself! Because you are so damn insecure and you don't like Paris so you can't stand him being happy.'' Amazonia yelled and pointed her index finger at him.
''Am, you have to calm…'' Tulio said calmly trying to make her calm down herself as he walked towards her. Amazonia backed away and held a protective hand on her pregnant belly.
''Don't call me that and don't tell me to calm down! How can you sleep at night, knowing what you have done? And think that I allow myself to have a baby with a man who would do something like this!'' Amazonia screamed at him as her face turned into a shade of scarlet from anger.
''I get that you're emotional right now, pregnancy hormones.'' He said. Amazonia gasped.
''I hate you so much right now.'' She hissed, even if it was a lie. She could never hate Tulio, even if she hated what he had done. Small cramps entered the lower part of her stomach and she leaned forward supporting herself onto the dresser as she took deep breaths. Tulio hurried over to her and placed his hands on her hips.
''Are you alright? I told you to take it easy for the baby.'' He said. Amazonia turned around to glare at him spitefully.
''The baby is fine, but I think it's father is in a need of a brain check.'' She hissed angrily and stroke her swollen belly softly as the cramps slowly started to disappear. Tulio took a deep breath and folded his arms across his chest.
''You're right. I hate the guy, I can't stand him. He has caused this family nothing but grief since the day he got here.'' He hissed angrily.
''If it wasn't for him, you wouldn't have been put through the hell with Nick that you have. And I would damned if I would let him cause any more pain to my sister then he already has, because that will happen if they get back together.'' Amazonia looked at him.
''It's only one small detail you are forgetting. Chel and Paris love each other.'' She hissed at him.
''If Paris love Chel, why did he kiss Zandra that night at the mansion, and why is he back together with her now?'' Amazonia gulped slightly and looked away towards the windows and shook her head slightly. Tulio sighed.
''I can't stop you if you want to tell Chel the truth, but I advise you to think long and hard about what it would mean for the family.'' He said. Amazonia turned around to look at him again.
''This family can fall apart because of this. And it will affect all us, including our child.'' Amazonia tried to prevent the tears from coming, but they did anyway.
''It's not fair of you to put me in this situation.'' She whispered and shook her head. Tulio shrugged his shoulders.
''I wanted to keep you out of this. This is the last thing you need right now.'' He said.
Breanna and Jack had left early that morning to take a road trip to visit Breanna's family. It was an six hour drive and they should be there any minute. They drove in onto a smaller road and up to a house and pulled up at the driveway. It was on old brick house with an decorative garden. Jack saw two children running out from the house, the eldest was a girl by the age nine, which Jack assumed where Breanna's niece Abigail that she had told him about. The other was a boy by the age of four.
''Abigail. Bray.'' Breanna beamed up by the sight of her niece and nephew.
''Auntie Breanna.'' The girl squealed in happiness as she ran towards Breanna and hugged her waist, the boy came shortly after and hugged her leg. Jack couldn't help himself from smiling slightly. Soon a man in his later twenties, with dark blonde hair and mixed coloured eyes, came out from the house and walked over to them.
''Good to have you back home shrimp.'' He said and smiled at Breanna. She giggled and rolled her eyes.
''Jack, meet my brother-in-law William.'' Breanna said and looked back at Jack. The two males shook hands.
''Is mom, dad and Ash inside?'' Breanna asked and turned back to William. He nodded as he picked up Bray and put him onto his shoulder, as the young boy giggled.
''Come on.'' Breanna grabbed Jack's wrist and all of them went inside the house. Well inside, they entered a small hallway leading into a living-room.
''Breanna.'' A beautiful woman by the same age as the man, with long blonde curly hair and her eyes were the same shade of green as Breanna's. The woman was Breanna's older sister Ashley Deveraux, later Walton after she married William. She hugged her younger sister before turned her attention to Jack.
''And who might this young man be?'' Ashley said and looked back at Breanna with a wide smile.
''This is Jack, a friend. Jack, this is my sister Ashley.'' Breanna smiled. Jack smiled back and shook the woman hand.
''Hello.'' He said, then yet another woman came into the living-room. An slightly older woman in her mid-fifties with blonde hair and auburn highlights, then another man in his later fifties with auburn hair joined them. Breanna walked over to them.
''And these are my parents, Cameron and Gabriella.'' The couple smiled at Jack.
''Hello Jack.'' Cameron chuckled and reach out his hand to Jack.
''You're just in time for lunch.'' Gabriella smiled.
Zandra and Paris sat onto a bench in a long empty corridor. Zandra sat tapping her foot impatiently and kept on moving into her seat.
''Zan, could you please be still? You're driving me insane! Don't worry, it'll be fine.'' Paris said and took Zandra's hand in his and kissed it softly. Zandra growled like a bored child and leaned back against the wall.
''He didn't even look at me during the entire trial.'' She sighed sadly.
''Two years Paris, he's going to be in there for two years!'' She added.
''Yeah I know, I would have given him ten.'' Paris said. Zandra was about to snap at him, but they both looked up by the sound of a heavy door opening and three men stepped out. The first and last was men dressed in a navy blue uniform with golden stripes onto the sleeves and a belt with different weapons. The man in the middle was Nick dressed in a white oversized one-piece prisoner suit, both his hand behind his back in hand-cuffs. Zandra and Paris quietly sat and looked at Nick and the police men as they walked down the corridor towards them. When Nick realised that they where there, he didn't take his eyes of Zandra. As the two siblings remained eye-contact, Zandra was afraid. For the first time, when she looked him into the eyes, she couldn't tell what he felt. Hate, betrayal, regret. Nothing. Nick looked at Zandra until he and the other men had past them. Zandra sat still for a second before quickly walking to catch up with them.
''Nick! Say something?'' She begged and took a hold onto Nick's sleeve, but he ignored her.
''Nick, can you please just say hi?'' Zandra begged again. Nick still remained quite. Zandra could feel her tears welling up into her eyes. She didn't know what was worse, him being silent or him screaming and shouting at her.
''I'm sorry okey? If there was any other way...'' Zandra said as they stopped when the first police could unlock the door at the end of the corridor. Nick still refused to reply his younger sister and started to walk inside the other room. Zandra turned back to the police behind her.
''Where are you taking him?'' She asked.
''He's going straight to jail to begin to serve his sentence.'' The police replied her before he as well walked inside through the door.
''Can I come visit?'' Zandra asked as she looked at Nick standing facing the other police.
''Of course. But Mr Roberts doesn't seem to want to see you.'' The police replied again and grabbed the handle. The last thing Zandra saw before he closed the door completely, was Nick turning around to face her once more. When she could hear them lock the door from the other side, Zandra broke out in tears and placed her palms against the door before going over to lean against the wall and she slowly sank down to the floor as she cried hysterically. Paris came running towards her and kneeled down and embraced her.
After lunch, Breanna stayed inside taking care of the dishes with her sister and mother as Cameron and William took Jack outside. Ashley stood by the sink doing the dishes as Breanna stood beside her and dried it. Gabriella took care of the leftovers. The both sisters looked outside at the three men into the garden and the two young children playing a bit further away.
''Why haven't you told us about him. I know you said that you where living with some guy temporary, but this.'' Ashley said to her sister and she looked at Jack curiously.
''What's there to talk about? He's just a boy.'' Breanna replied her sister as she put one plate onto the kitchen counter. Ashley turned around to look at her and frowned her eyebrows.
''A boy? I would say by the looks of it, that's a man.'' She said and gave Breanna another plate to dry. She was quite for a few seconds before leaning over to Breanna.
''Have you seen the way he looks at you.'' She whispered. Breanna turned around to glare at her older sister angrily.
''Ash, stop it!'' She spat.
''It's obvious that he has feelings for you.'' Ashley shrugged her shoulders. Breanna turned back around to looked outside at Jack.
''Jack and I are… friends. Our relationship is strictly professional.'' Breanna said and turned back to look at her mother, smiling at her. Breanna wasn't sure if she liked that smile, it meant that she agreed with Ashley. Breanna sighed and looked back outside.
Zandra sat into her and Paris's study. The thought of Nick still haunted her and it didn't hurt any less. She stood up and walked over to the bookcase and took the economy file folder and flicked through the pages before she found the pages with all of Nick's transitions. She took them out of the folder and put them into the trash-bin, before taking the matches from the top-drawer and light one up and dropped it into the trash-bin with the papers, setting them on fire. She stood and watched until there was nothing left but ashes.
It was an awkward tension into Tulio and Amazonia's bedroom that night. Amazonia sat starring into her mirror as she lazily dragged the hair brush through her long brown locks. Tulio sat into their bed and looked at her.
''Aren't you coming to bed?'' He asked carefully. Amazonia stopped to brush and looked down into her lap.
''I'm not tired.'' She whispered and looked up at her reflection again. He knew that it was a lie.
''Am, it's only me.'' He said. Amazonia placed the hair brush onto the table before turning around to face him.
''Is it?'' She sighed. Tulio stood up and slowly walked over to her and reached out his hand for her to take. Amazonia sat still and looked at his hand for a few seconds before she sighed and gave him her hand. He gently pulled her up onto her feet and brushed a lock of hair before her ear before leaning down and placed a soft but passionate kiss onto her lips. They parted a few inches, they could still feel their warm breaths upon their faces.
''We'll get through this.'' He said and pulled her close into an embrace.
''Come to bed.'' He whispered into her ear. They pulled away and Tulio took her hand in his again, leading her back to the bed.
Paris stood outside Zandra's suite and knocked onto the door. He knew Zandra, and he also knew that even if she would deny it, she needs a friend right now. He knocked one more time but there was still no reply from inside.
''Zan, I know you're in there. Let me in.'' He called but still didn't receive any response. He grabbed the knob on the door and slowly peaked inside.
''Zan?'' He walked inside the mini suit and noticed the small bump under the covers. He sighed and walked over to sit down on the other side of the bed and pulled the covers down, showing Zandra laying with her back towards him.
''Go away Paris, I don't want you to see me like this.'' She said and pulled the covers back up over her head. Paris smiled slightly and pulled it back down.
''You couldn't look bad even if you tried to.'' He chuckled and cupped her cheek with his palm. They looked into each other's eyes for a few seconds before they leaned in and kissed, first just a peck, later more passionately. Paris rolled her over onto her back and climb on top of her as they made out for awhile. They separated to catch their breaths.
''Are you sure about this? You're going through a rough time right now, I don't want to advantage of you.'' He whispered as he leaned her forehead against hers. Zandra nodded and buried her fingers into his brown hair.
''I want to.'' She whispered. Paris stood up onto his knees with one leg on each side of her, and she sat up and unbuttoned the jacket on his uniform. Paris took it off and threw it onto the floor, together with his shirt. Zandra worked on her own tank top and threw it together with Paris's clothes. They laid back down and kissed again, until Paris trailed kisses down her neck towards her chest.
Why would Zandra burn the evidence that Nick has been transferring millions from their account? Especially after their last encounterer.
Will Amazonia be able to keep quiet about this whole thing, or will she tell Chel and Paris.
Hope you all have/had a happy Valentine day with much love with your loved ones.
Next time, Amazonia has an heart-to-heart with Chel, Paris pays someone a visit and Chel's world is about to come crashing down.
