I shouldn't love you, but I want to.

After a long night, Chel stood leaning against the big windows into the throne-room facing the courtyard. She let out a deep sigh and took a sip of her tea. Teddy was busy with his studies and for the first time she preferred him not being with her. He would only sense that something was wrong and she hadn't found the courage to tell him about Gabe yet. Down into courtyard, she saw Musa and Riven together with their daughter. Only a few meters away from them, Amazonia and Tulio sat together onto a bench, holding hands and they shared a kiss. Even further away, she could see a glimpse of her parents taking their daily walk through the gardens. Even though she knew that she had her entire family's support, she had never felt more alone.

Jack handled the envelope to Paris, who took out the documents and read it. The small hope that he had left disappeared immediately.

''Damn it!'' He hissed and crumbled the paper in his hand.

''I'm sorry it wasn't what you wanted to hear.'' Jack sighed and leaned against the back of the outgoing kitchen counter. Paris looked at the paper again.

''And he's sure of this?'' He asked him. Jack nodded and scratched the back of his head.

''He ran the test three times.'' He replied. Paris just starred at the positive DNA results and thought what he was suppose to do next. Even if the test didn't turn out the way he had hoped, he was not going give up yet.

''Alright, thanks anyway. I need to go back to the palace right now, we'll talk later.'' Jack nodded. Paris turned around to Breanna who stood onto the other side of the counter, whipping eggs into an mixing bowl.

''My dad wants us to go out to dinner some day.'' He said and slowly backed towards the door. Breanna nodded.

''Absolutely, just let me know and I'll be there.'' She said. He gave her a thumbs up before walking towards the door.

''Bye.'' He called after him. Both Jack and Breanna called back before the front-door closed.

''Well I'm just going to the mansion for a short while, will you be alright?'' He asked and jumped up onto the counter and took a break roll. Breanna nodded and bit her lip.

''Last night, I told you things that I might shouldn't have.'' She said and rested her hand onto her hip. Jack frowned his eyebrows, but shook his head.

''It's okay, I don't mind.'' He replied her and took a bit from the bread and swallowed.

''That's not the point. I shouldn't have told you that, and I want to make it clear that you and I won't be anything else than friends.'' She said.

''Do you understand?'' She added and glared at him.

''I understand. Just one small thing.'' He said and jumped down onto the other side so that he stood beside her.

''I don't think we should have more than two kids. I'm serious.'' Breanna's chin fell to her knees and rolled her eyes.

''Can you stop joking around, this is serious!'' She said and folded her arms across her chest.

''I'm serious.'' Jack smiled that smile that only he could.

''See you later.'' He said and cupped her cheek with his palm and kissed her other cheek, before going around her and out of the kitchen area. Breanna stood frozen for a second before turning to look at him.

''Jack!'' She said in annoyance. Jack walked towards the front-door, but turned around and looked at her for a second.

''Yes honey.'' He said before disappearing into the small corridor.

''You're such an ass.'' She called after him, but when the front-door closed behind him. A small smile grew across her lips.

Gabe glared at Spencer, with his chin hanging open. The thing that he just had heard seemed like a slap right across the face.

''Teddy was taken care of cause I was unable to be a father at the time. But now, I pulled myself together and I'm ready to take my responsibility.'' He said in a harsh tone. Spencer nodded slightly and leaned back into his seat.

''That might be, but if you care about Teddy's welfare, you should let him stay with the royal family.'' Spencer said. Once again, Gabe seemed highly offended.

''The princess is almost a child herself.'' Gabe hissed quietly.

''She's young, but she's really mature for her age. If anything, Teddy helped her with that. I've seen Chel and Paris together with Teddy, and if you could see for yourself, then I think that you would understand that staying with them is for best.''

''For what I've understand, they are no longer together. '' Gabe said. Spencer nodded.

''They will be, when my son eventually realizes that he's living together with the wrong woman. And that day will come, sooner or later.'' He said and leaned forwards over the table.

''That boy has been through more than a child his age should, he has been tossed around like a ball between different foster homes and he might have been through so much trauma that we might not even now about. And now he has a loving and stable home with Chel.'' He said.

''Do you really think it's fair to Teddy to ruin that for him and toss him around yet another time?'' He added and frowned his eyebrows. Gabe tilted his head slightly before looking down into his lap, with an glimpse of guilt in his eyes.

Paris had arrived at the palace about thirty minutes ago and now stood into the kitchen watching as Musa and Amazonia sat down at the kitchen island together with Teddy and Melody drawing. Amazonia placed the orange colored pencil down in the middle with the rest.

''Alright, what color do you think we should have there?'' She asked and pointed down into the coloring book and looked at Teddy. The young boy thought for a second before reaching to the pencil pile and picked up a dark green pen and gave it to Amazonia, who started to color again. A small smile grew across Paris's lips as he took another sip of his coffee. He saw the double-doors open in the corner of his eyes and turned around to see Chel walking inside and over to him.

''Anything?'' He asked quietly for only her to hear. Chel sighed sadly and shook her head.

''I just spoke with our lawyer, according the to the law he's not doing anything wrong.'' She replied him. Paris sighed and rubbed one of his temples.

''I got the results from the lab back, it's a match.'' He said sadly. He could hear Chel's heart started to beat faster and she tried her hardest not to cry, but it was impossible to prevent. She quickly left the kitchen and he went after. He followed her down along the corridor and called her name. Eventually, she stopped and leaned against the wall, sobbing into her sleeve and held her other hand onto her stomach. Paris caught up with her and took a firm grip of her shoulders.

''It's like I'm being punished!'' She sobbed and hyperventilated as she clutched hard onto Paris's jacket.

''I'm losing people that I love! What have I done that is so horrible?'' She cried harder. Paris embraced her and stroke her dark red hair softly.

''You haven't done anything.'' He whispered. They stood there for a minute or two and parted when Chel had the change to calm down. He let her take a few deep breaths before he spoke.

''I'll always be here for you. Tell me you know that.'' Paris whispered and took her left hand in his right one. Chel gulped quietly and looked up at him sadly. It felt like small butterfly went on like crazy in her stomach, but she knew that it was impossible since there was already a small creature living inside her. Their baby, hers and Paris's baby. She could feel her palms starting to sweat and her heart started to beat faster. How she hated that he still had that influence on her, like she was under his spell. To answer his question, she nodded her head slowly. He still didn't know, and she had to tell him. Like he said, he would always be there for her and she knew that Paris would never walk away and let her to take care of this baby alone, even if they weren't going to be together, they would raise their son or daughter together. He would want to be a part of this child's life, especially since he himself had to grow up without Spencer or Bonnie.

''There's something I need to tell you.'' She whispered with a weak smile and wrapped her arms around her waist. Paris frowned his eyebrows slightly and nodded. But right when she had plucked up the courage to tell him, his phone rang. He quickly managed to get his phone up from his pocket, Chel got a glimpse of the caller ID and the auburn hair. Zandra. Chel cursed for herself. Paris hesitated and glanced over at Chel.

''I can call back.'' He said. Chel shook her head and ran a hand though her long red hair.

''Just answer.'' She said, trying to hide the spite in her tone. Paris still hesitated for a second but eventually answered and took a few steps away from her. Chel folded her arms across her chest and leaned against the wall and looked down onto the floor. The call was pretty short and for what she could understand it was business related.

''Sorry.'' Paris said as he walked back over to her and shook her head.

''Don't be, it sounded important.'' She replied him with a weak smile and shrugged her shoulders.

''You wanted to tell me something?'' He asked. Chel looked up at him and nodded.

''I... I just wanted to tell you that I'm here for you too.'' She said quietly. The moment had pasted and once again, Chel chickened out.

Jack came out from the bathroom, only with a towel wrapped around his waist. Breanna stood by the kitchen sink doing the dishes.

''Someone called you.'' She said and dried her hands with a towel. Jack walked over to his phone laying onto the counter and looked at it.

''Who was it?'' She asked and looked at him. Jack shrugged his shoulders.

''I don't recognize the number.'' He said, but then looked up at her.

''But if we're strictly roommate, why do you even care?'' He asked and grinned over to her. Breanna frowned her eyebrows and glared at him.

''Naked smart ass.'' Jack's grinned and took a step closer to her.

'Why don't you just admit it.'' He asked her.

''Admit what?'' She folded her arms across her chest.

''That you want me.'' She laughed and frowned her eyebrows again.

''You're way over your head.'' She shook her head. Jack walked even closer to her so that their bodies were only an inch apart.

''But if you don't, then why are you so awkward?'' He asked. Breanna sighed and placed her hands onto her waist.

''Us getting together, that would be a huge mistake.'' She said before leaving the room and ran up the stairs and slammed her bedrooms door shut, and she stayed there for the rest of the day.

Miguel stood into the throne-room with some soldiers, they talked but his attention changed when the big doors opened and he saw Gabe being let inside.

''You can go.'' Miguel ordered the soldiers, who bowed before leaving. Gabe walked over to Miguel.

''I'm looking for the princess.'' He said. Miguel nodded and waved over for him to follow him. Miguel walked over with Gabe over to the giant windows and they looked down into the courtyard. Paris and Teddy chased after a ball, with Chel sitting by the edge of the fountain looking at them, laughing every now and then. A muffled cheering could be heard from outside and Teddy ran over to Chel. She wrapped her arms around him and stroke his messy dark brown hair and kissed his temple. A tear ran down Gabe's cheek, but he dried it away without Miguel seeing. The King turned to face him.

''He will be taken care of if that what's worries you.'' He said. Gabe looked at him.

''How do I get down there.'' He asked. Miguel called for the guards and one entered. He told him to show Gabe down to the courtyard. In that moment, Topaz walked inside and eyed Gabe and frowned her eyebrows. When the guard and Gabe left the room, Topaz walked over to her husband.

''What did he want?'' She asked. Miguel placed his hands onto her shoulders.

''We might need to prepare for the worst.'' He said sadly. Topaz gasped for air quietly and was embraced by Miguel.

Outside, Paris walked over to Chel.

''I'll be with you in a few minutes buddy.'' He called back to Teddy, out of breath, as he sat down next to Chel.

''Where does he get all of his energy from?'' He asked as he took the water bottle from the ground and drank. Chel giggled slightly and looked at the young boy. But then her smile faded away when she saw Gabe standing into the doorway leading inside the palace.

''Oh my god.'' She said and she could feel her heart beating faster and the tears well up into her eyes.

''Alright, just take it easy.'' He said and placed a comforting hand onto her back as they started to walk towards him.

''You can't really just come barging in here like this.'' Paris hissed angrily. Gabe was about to snap back at him, but they were interrupted when Teddy came running towards them.

''Who is this?'' The young boy asked curiously. Both Chel and Paris looked at each other, wondering what they would tell him. But they didn't get the chance as they heard Gabe.

''Hello Teddy, I'm Gabe, I've heard so much about you. You like it here, don't you?'' He said and kneeled down and reached his hand out for Teddy. The young boy shook his hand and nodded.

''Chel is nice, you like her too?'' He added. Teddy looked up at Chel and wrapped his arms around her leg.

''I love her, she's my mom.'' Teddy replied him and smiled up at Chel. She looked back down at him and stroke him over his hair.

''I love you too sweetie.'' She said, trying her hardest not to break out in tears. Paris smiled before glancing over at Gabe, who looked like someone had plunged a dagger through his heart, but he still forced a smile.

''I'm sure that she'll take good care of you.'' He said and looked up at Chel, who frowned her eyebrows, but soon realized what he just had said. If it meant what she thought it did, she could jump onto him and hug him until he wouldn't be able to breathe.

''Hey Teddy, why don't you and I leave Chel and Gabe talk alone for a while.'' Paris said. Teddy didn't need to be asked twice and ran away and Paris went after him.

''I just need to know two things.'' Gabe said and turned to Chel.

''If he wants to look for me in ten years, would that be a problem?'' Chel shook her head.

''Absolutely not. I'm going to support him in every decision he decides to make. And I'll even help him if that what's he want.'' Gabe nodded his head.

''And you'll care of him?'' He asked.

''I'll take care of him like he would be mine biological.''

The pouring rain splashed hard against Jack's bedroom window, thunder and lightning, high ocean waves and a heavy storm. Jack was never afraid of either of it. He laid awake into his bed staring up into the rotating ceiling fan as he let out a deep sigh. He had laid there for what have felt like hours, even if it only had been about forty minutes. When the lightning became louder. Jack got out of the bed, walked over to the door and out to the hallway across Breanna's room. To his surprised she stood there in front of him, looking just as surprised as him. A small smile grew across Jack's lips as he took a step forward.

''Don't tell me, you're afraid of the thunder?'' He teased with a smile, that soon faded away when he noticed the serious look onto Breanna's face. Instead his own face change into a look of worried and concern. Before he was able to say something further, Breanna took a step closer to him as well.

''I have been dying a little bit each day since you came into my life.'' She said and looked up at him with a fire of desire and hunger in her eyes. He frowned one of his eyebrows.

''What are you talking about?'' He whispered. Breanna remained quiet for a few seconds before she closed her eyes and let a tear escape them. Suddenly another lighting struck down, making both of them jump back and looking at the ocean waves outside through the giant windows in front of the stairs. Jack sighed sadly as they turned their heads back to look at each other.

''I still don't think it's a good idea.'' She said and turned away and folded her arms close to her body. More tears ran down Breanna's cheeks.

''I don't think it would be a mistake either.'' Jack grabbed her shoulders and spun her around making her face him again. The hell with Zandra and her stupid rules. Jack did the only thing that he wanted to do, kissed her forcefully but at the time gently. Breanna wrapped her arms around his neck and jumped up into his arms and wrapped her legs around his waist. As they carried on kissing, Jack carried her over to the sideboard standing against the wall, and placed her on top of it. He seek entrance for his tongue and she let him inside. All of the other girls he had been with, and he had lost count a long time ago, not all of them together could ever feel this good.

So, it seems that Teddy is going to stay with Chel after all. I think Gabe made the right decision. Don't you?

It was so close that she told him about the baby, will she ever get herself around to do it?

And Breanna and Jack together? Will they be able to make it work or will Jack break her heart?
