The storm from the following night had past and the sun shone brightly onto the clear light-blue sky. Jack laid onto his back outside onto the sundeck and Breanna laid onto her side next to him. They held hands onto his chest and looked at each other.
''This feels so right.'' He sighed deeply and placed his free hand beneath his head. Breanna smiled and nodded.
''I agree, but you know that we can't tell anyone about this. If anyone finds out about this, you can lose your job.'' She said as her smile faded away. Jack growled and rolled his eyes by the thought of it.
''You're right.'' He sighed and looked up into the sky for a few seconds before looking back at her.
''But you still want to right?'' He asked. Breanna smiled again and leaned up to place a kiss onto his lips.
''Of course.'' She said when they broke apart. Jack's grin grew wide.
''I have to go to the mansion for awhile to cheek up with Paris, do you want to come with?'' She nodded her head before they kissed again.
The day after Gabe had let Teddy stay with her, Chel was happier then she had ever been. But she still couldn't stop to worry. She sat into the kitchen, chewing on a piece of fruit as she starred into thin air.
''Chel?'' She heard a voice and snapped out of her thoughts and saw Topaz standing in front of her.
''Mom? Hi.'' She smiled widely. Topaz smiled softly and sat down on opposite her middle-child and only daughter.
''What's going on in that head of yours? I thought that you would be floating on clouds by now when Teddy is staying.'' She said and sat straight while she looked at Chel and placed her hands into her lap.
''I'm! I mean of course I am.'' Chel said, but soon looked down into the table.
''But?'' She waited a few more seconds before she finally could get herself to look up, with tears building up in her violet eyes and she sighed deeply.
''But what if this is a mistake? What if Teddy finds out in a few years that his father came looking for him and we didn't tell him?'' She said before her voice died out. Topaz remained quiet and let Chel continue when she could.
''We kept him from being with his real father and we didn't even ask him what he wanted. He might end up hating me, all of us.'' Topaz nodded and sighed.
''What you're saying could be true. He might be angry and disappointed, he might even do or say things that he won't mean.'' She said and Chel for the first time got her biggest fear confirmed. But she was surprised when Topaz placed her soft hand onto hers, making her once again look up into her mother's wise honey-colored eyes.
''But he'll remember how much love you have given him and how happy and safe he's been here with you. Then, he'll forgive you.'' She said with a warm smile, making Chel smile slightly as well and dried a tear away with her finger.
''You really think so?'' She asked hopefully, and Topaz nodded. The weather-fairy and princess jumped up from her chair and walked straight into her mother's warm embrace.
''Thanks mom, you always know the right thing to say.'' She said and hugged her mother even tighter. Topaz beamed and planted a kiss onto her daughters forehead.
Musa stood inside her and Riven's bedroom closet and packed pieces of clothing into a basket when Riven walked inside the room and called after her.
''I'm in here.'' She called back to him and soon she could see him standing into the doorway.
''What are you doing?'' He smiled and walked over to her and the couple shared a kiss.
''I'm packing some of my maternity clothes to Amazonia, she's starting to get to big for hers and I thought it was unnecessary for her to get new ones.'' She replied and folded a dark blue floor-length summer-dress and put it into the basket with the others. Riven nodded and walked further inside the closet and took out his leva-bike overall and boots and started to get changed. Musa kept on glancing at her husband for a few seconds and bit her lip and took a deep breath.
''Riven? There is something I would like to talk to you about.'' She said quietly and looked down into the floor. Riven looked up at her as he pulled up the zipper onto his leather jacket.
''Yeah? What?'' He asked and took his gloves and pulled them on. The musical fairy hesitated. This was ridiculous. It was Riven she talked to, there was no need to be nervous.
''I… I mean…. I guess I….'' She stuttered. Riven laughed and walked over to her and put his hands onto her shoulders.
''Just say it.'' He smiled. Musa sighed again.
''Well now when Tulio and Amazonia is going to have a baby, I guess I just think that maybe we….'' She stopped when she saw Riven's expression.
''That we should have another baby as well?'' He finished her sentence.
''Yeah, I mean Melody is getting older.'' She said. Riven was lost for words for a second. It came from out of nowhere and of course he wanted more kids in the future, but for now he was happy with the way that it were.
''You know what, just forget that I said anything.'' Musa said and started to pack clothes again, it was obvious that he didn't feel the same way that she did. Riven grabbed her shoulders again and made her face him.
''I do want more kids, but I think that we should wait awhile longer.'' He said in the nicest way he could think of. Musa remained quiet.
''At least until Mel's second birthday, than we can start talking about it. It's only a few more months.'' He added. Musa nodded.
''Okay.'' She said, trying to hide the fact that she was disappointed but she was grateful that he was at least honest with her. Riven sighed and embraced her.
Tired, Paris walked into the mansion and up the stairs to the gym. He entered and as he expected, Zandra was in there alone, boxing onto a boxing bag. He stopped and leaned against the wall as he watched her for a minute. Her long auburn hair into a messy bun, her tanned well-trained body covered in sweat. Like always, he was amazed.
''Looking good.'' He said with a huge grin onto his lips. She suddenly turned around and smiled by the sight of him.
''Hi.'' She said and took of her glows. He walked over to her, cupped her cheek and they shared a kiss.
''Everything okay here?'' He asked. She nodded and bent down to pick up her water bottle and drank.
''Yeah, how about you? Are you okay? Everything worked out alright?'' She asked and placed the bottle back down onto the floor. Paris let out a relived sigh and if it were even possible, his smile grew even further.
''He can stay.'' He said. Zandra let out a scream and wrapped her arms around his neck and planted a kiss onto his lips.
''I'm so happy for you, I know how much this meant for you.'' She said as they separated.
''Yeah it did.'' He smiled.
''Well I've been up for more than two whole days and I'm exhausted.'' He added and ran a hand through his messy dark brown hair.
''Why don't you go and lay down and get some rest? Me and Oliver will manage here.'' She said.
''Well, I suppose I can stay up a few more minutes.'' He said and frowned his eyebrow slightly and wrapped one arm around her waist and pulled her closer to him. Zandra rolled her eyes and grinned before the couple passionately started to kiss.
Chel was on her way down to the kitchen when she meet Riven, dressed into his leva bike overall.
''Hey, you're going for a ride?'' She asked with a smile as they stood in front of each other.
''Yeah, you wanna join me?'' He asked and put on his glows.
''No, maybe some other time.'' She replied him,
''You sure? I might even let you drive.'' He said and frowned his eyebrows and smiled. Chel giggled, but shook her head.
''Tempting, but I'll have to take a rent check.'' Riven nodded and smiled before putting his helmet on.
''Fine, your lost. See you later sis.'' He said before disappearing and she continued down to the kitchen.
Jack and Breanna walked up to Paris's and Zandra's study, but they stopped right outside the half-opened door when they heard Zandra talking to her colonel and body-guard Oliver.
''Don't mention any of this to Paris, it's going to be a surprise.'' They heard Zandra say.
''Are you really sure that Paris will think this is such an good idea?'' Oliver asked. Zandra walked around the room.
''Of course. Yeah, he might be a little doubting at first, but he'll thank me later.'' She smiled and walked behind the desk and sat down.
''Okay, you're the boss.'' Oliver said and wrote down something onto the cliff-board in his hand.
''Yes. And Oliver, could you send my diamond necklace at polishing and send someone to pick up my Isabella Valentina dress back at the ranch and take it to get it dry-cleaned.'' She said and put up her feet the desk.
''I'll get right on it.'' He said and was about to leave the room, but stopped and turned around to look at her again.
''Shouldn't we tell Jack, he is Paris best friend after all.'' He asked. Zandra turned around to look at him and her smile faded away.
''No, we can't risk him open his big mouth.'' Zandra hissed in spite. Jack had heard enough. He grabbed Breanna's wrist and pulled her with him back outside.
''What is it?'' She asked as she had to run to keep up with him.
''We need to get to the palace and tell Chel. She's the only one that can stop Paris from making a huge mistake.'' Jack replied her.
''What kind of mistake?'' Breanna asked as they got back to the car.
''Zandra is planning an ambush wedding.'' He said. Breanna's chin dropped and they jumped back into the car and drove off.
Jack and Breanna rushed to the palace and ran inside the throne-room finding exactly the person they were looking for. Chel stood there together with Tulio and Amazonia. They all turned their heads and saw them running towards them.
''Jack? What are you doing here?'' Chel frowned her eyebrows when Jack and Breanna stopped next to them.
''Zandra is going to marry Paris.'' Jack said as he caught his breath slightly. Amazonia's chin fell to the floor as she looked up at Tulio before back at Jack. Chel grunted and turned away from him.
''Well, good for her.'' She hissed sarcastically. Jack shook his head.
''No, you don't understand. She's planning an ambush wedding, she's going to trick Paris into marrying her.'' He added. Chel turned around to face him once again. Amazonia couldn't take this anymore. She turned back to Tulio and grabbed his wrist and pulled him a few meters away.
''I tried, but this is too much. If you don't tell her the truth right now, I'll.'' She hissed. Tulio shushed at her, but it was too late.
''Tell who what?'' They turned around to see Chel, Jack and Breanna looking at them, all confused. Tulio and Amazonia looked at each other once more.
''There is something you need to know.'' Amazonia said and walked back to Chel and the others. Chel looked at her sister-in-law and placed her hands onto her hips.
''Know what?'' Chel asked. Amazonia sighed and turned back to Tulio.
''Are you going to tell her? Or should I?'' She asked.
''Tell me what? What's going on?'' Chel asked angrily, trying to lose her patient.
''Well?'' Amazonia spat at her husband. Tulio sighed and ran a hand through his hair. He really thought that he would have succeed with this, but it looked like he had been defeated. And now it was time for him to take care of the consequences.
''I'll do it. Would you leave us for a while?'' Tulio said and walked back over to Chel and the others. Jack looked at Chel before nodding.
''Hurry up.'' He said as he left the room with Breanna and Amazonia. Chel still stood starring at her brother, completely unknowing what was going on.
''Tulio, what's going on? You're starting to scare me.'' She whispered. Tulio sighed as he walked over to the windows covering his face with both his palms.
''Chel, do you remember what I said about Paris? What happened with Zandra that night?'' He asked, still with his back turned against her. Chel rolled her eyes.
''Yeah I remember that, I'll never forget it.'' She said sarcastically.
Flashback
Tulio and Chel sat together onto the bed in her bedroom. Chel was shaking her head in disbelief at him as Tulio fold a firm grip off her hands.
''No, Paris wouldn't do that to me. It's not true.'' She whispered with a lump into her throat. Tulio sighed sadly.
''I'm really sorry, I saw it myself. They kissed, then they went upstairs together.'' He said, but it still hadn't convinced her. Tulio reached into his pocket and took his cell-phone out and showed her the video. Tears started to well up into her eyes as she took the phone from her younger brother and replayed the video again.
''How could he?'' She whimpered.
End of Flashback
''How could he do that to me?'' Chel whispered, more to herself, than to Tulio.
''There is something more that you need to know about that night.'' Tulio said, still not turning around to face his older sister.
''I already know everything '' He still believed that what he did, was for the best for all of them. Especially Chel. But he knew that Amazonia wanted to tell her the truth, the minute she found out. And he also knew that this time, there was no doubt that she would. So he didn't really have a choice, if was better if Chel heard it from himself. Tulio finally turned around to face her.
''No, you don't know everything.'' He said. Chel chuckled and shook her head.
''Yes I do, what else is there to know? You had seen him go upstairs with Zandra, you said so yourself!'' She said.
''He didn't!'' Tulio yelled, making Chel to stop talking and looked at him confused.
''I lied. Paris never slept with Zandra that night. I made that up.'' He added.
Okay, it looks like Tulio's secret is out in the open now. How will this turn out? Will Chel run directly to the mansion to fight for Paris or will let Zandra have him?
And what about Zandra, what is she really planning? Could Jack be right about her ambushing Paris to marry her and is so, will he agree? And could Chel really be able to stop it?
I know this chapter was slightly shorter than the others, but I'll try to update the next chapter faster.
Next time, Chel has a few decisions to make, some that might change her life forever, Amazonia and the others discovers what's wrong with her, and we'll find out what Zandra's plans really is.
