Because of you

Chel stood completely still, like every inch of her body was completely frozen. She couldn't believe what she just had heard. For a second, she thought that she must have heard wrong. But then he said it again.

''You lied?'' She whispered. Tulio nodded slowly.

''I thought I was doing the right thing for you.'' He sighed sadly. This still didn't make any sense to her. One hounded question flew around inside her head right now, at least. Chel stood quietly for a few more seconds, figuring out what she would say next.

''So Paris and Zandra going upstairs that night...'' She said but stopped, allowing Tulio to fill out the blank.

''That never happened.'' He said. Chel gasped and ran a hand halfway through her long red hair.

''I saw them kissing but they pushed each other away seconds later.'' Tulio added.

''All this time I've been so freaked out and they didn't do anything wrong.'' Chel said as she walked around the room.

''They kissed!'' Tulio hissed by the thought of it.

''TULIO! I thought I have been cheated on! Paris didn't betray me. You did.'' She said as tears started to well up into her eyes. Tulio could feel a big lump grew into his throat.

It was a warm and sunny day, Musa and Riven sat together outside into the courtyard with Amazonia. She worried about Tulio and Chel, she knew that this was going to be hard for both of them, and it would affect their relationship as siblings. And they were really closer, and they always had been. Amazonia's head started to hurt again and she felt nauseous and dizzy just like she had before. Musa noticed that something was wrong and kneeled down in front of her.

''Are you alright?'' She asked. Amazonia rubbed her forehead before shaking her head.

''No. I don't think so.'' She replied her and sighed deeply. Riven kneeled down next to his wife and looked at his sister-in-law.

''What's the matter?'' He asked. Amazonia sighed again.

''I don't know, strange things have happened lately. First there were just feelings or I could feel that something was coming. Then I could these strange noises that later turned into voices.'' She said. Riven and Musa glanced at each other.

''Then it was like… I could see visions.'' She added and looked up at Riven and Musa and saw them looking at each other.

''I know, it sounds crazy.'' Riven shook his head.

''No, but it sounds serious. Maybe we should go and talk to my mom, she might be able to help us.'' He said and himself and Musa helped Amazonia back onto her feet and supported her as she was still light-headed.

Tulio and Chel still stood into the throne-room, and her words still stung Tulio into his chest.

''I only did what I thought was necessary for this family.'' He said. Chel rolled her eyes and turned her back towards him again.

''Oh, how noble.'' She said sarcastically.

''I thought I was looking out for you.'' Chel turned around to face him again and walked over to him.

''By lying to me?'' She yelled at him. Tulio looked down into the floor for a few seconds before looking up again, but not at Chel.

''I have seen you disappointed so many times. First by Yatz and then by Paris countless times. I knew that you were better off without him, and then I saw you going down that path of getting hurt again...'' Tulio said, but Chel interrupted him.

''Okay, so you made something up that you knew that I couldn't forgive?'' She looked at him.

''Yes.'' He said in a weak whisper.

''I'm not a child and I'm fully capable of making my own decisions. I have the right to live my life how I choose.'' Chel said angrily.

''I know but when I see you make a huge mistake...'' He began, but was interrupted once more.

''Okay then tell me, you are allowed to disagree with me and that's fine, but don't lie to me. You are better than that!'' She said and placed her palms on top of her head.

''This is the thing that have keeping me from going back to him, this! Thinking that he slept with her, cheating on me, disrespecting me! And it was a lie.'' Chel dropped her arms down to her side.

''And now he's with Zandra. Does she know about this, is she in on it?'' She turned to look at him. Tulio shook his head and folded his arms across his chest.

''Don't lie to me Tulio, please don't lie to me!'' Chel sobbed and tied her palm into a fist.

''I'm not lying to you, I wouldn't do that again.'' He said. Chel looked at him and sighed before nodding.

''Okay, then you've hurt her too.'' She said and dried a tear away from her cheek.

''Because as far as she thinks, she and Paris is back together for good. Like hell they are.'' She said before running out from the throne-room meeting Jack and Breanna outside.

''What are you waiting for, we have a wedding to stop.'' She shouted after her as she ran down the corridor. Jack and Breanna set after her and out of the palace to the car. Chel jumped into the backseat and Jack and Breanna in the front. He turned on the engine and they drove away.

Riven and the others were in the library with Topaz. She stood and looked through different books and eventually found the one she was looking for. She brought a book with a lilac cover and golden letters spelling Magical creatures. It took her a few minutes before she looked up at her son and daughters-in-law.

''It was like I guessed.'' She said and took of her reading glasses.

''What is?'' Amazonia said. Topaz pushed the book over to her and pointed at the page. She, Musa and Riven looked down onto the page and saw the chapter about mermaids.

''It's rumored that if a mermaid turns into a human, they sometimes receives different gifts they didn't have before.'' The queen said. Riven looked up at his mother.

''Like what?'' He asked.

''It's different from each person. But by the sounds of it, it seems that you Amazonia, might be able to look into the future.'' She said. All three of them frowned their eyebrows and exchanged looks in doubt.

Jack drove up the road leading up to the mansion, through the gates and up into the courtyard. Zandra and Paris stood outside holding hands and saw the car as it pulled up a few meters away from them.

''What are you doing here?'' Paris asked confused as he looked at Chel jumping out from the back-seat and ran over to them with Jack and Breanna right behind her.

''I'm here to stop you from doing something that you might regret.'' She replied him. Paris was still confused and looked at his best friend and cousin for a second.

''There is something that you need to know, I need to speak with you alone.'' Chel said before she looked back at Jack and Breanna who nodded at her.

''If you don't mind, we were in the middle of something here, and I'm sure whatever you have to say can wait.'' Zandra said and folded her arms.

''Stay out of this Zandra!'' Jack hissed angrily. Zandra was starting to lose her temper.

''What makes you think that you can just barge in here?'' Zandra hissed at both Chel and Jack.

''I brought her here so that she could save him from the trap that you have set.'' Jack hissed back at her. Zandra and Paris frowned their eyebrows.

Riven, Musa and Amazonia still sat with their chins down to their knees and eyebrows frowned.

''What? That can't possible.'' Amazonia said in disbelief. But then she remembers the last time it happened. It was the time where she could see Tulio admitting that he did something to Chel and Paris, and then it turned out that he did.

''Wait a minute.'' She said, but was interrupted when Tulio walked inside.

''What are you guys doing?'' He asked as he walked over to them. Musa looked at him, over to Amazonia, then back at Tulio again.

''Well, Amazonia got ill again and we're just trying to figure out what's wrong with her.'' She explained. Tulio kneeled down next to Amazonia and placed a hand onto her swelling stomach.

''Are you okay?'' He asked concerned. Amazonia nodded and placed her hand onto his.

''I'm fine now.'' She replied him. Tulio turned back to his brother.

''You found something?'' He asked and turned to his mother.

''Well, we might think that when you turned Amazonia to a human, things might have happened to her.'' Musa said. Tulio frowned his eyebrows and looked at her.

''What do you mean?'' He asked.

''It happens, that mermaids, when turned into human they receives a gift or ability of some sort.'' Topaz said. Tulio still didn't understand what they tried to say.

''I think that Amazonia might be able to see into the future.'' She added. Tulio burst out laughing, but then he stopped and looked back at his wife.

''Hold on a seconds, that's why you knew. You saw what I did, didn't you?'' He asked her. Amazonia sighed and nodded.

''I think so.'' She replied him.

Jack, Breanna, Chel, Paris and Zandra stood outside into the mansion courtyard.

''What are you talking about?'' Zandra spat and placed her hands onto her hips.

''Yeah, I overheard when you talked to Oliver about your plans. Diamond necklace and designer dress.'' Jack said angrily.

''Don't tell Paris and defiantly don't Jack or else he'll just go and open his big mouth.'' Jack said in an mocking voice to insult Zandra before he turned to look at Paris.

''Did you know that your 'innocent adorable' girlfriend here, was going to force you to marry her?'' Jack said to his best friend.

''What?!'' Paris and Zandra said at the same time. Paris turned back to Zandra.

''What is he talking about?'' He asked. Zandra glared at Jack angrily as she shook her head and tapped her foot angrily.

''And you are suppose to call yourself a best friend. You don't happen to remember that it's Paris's birthday next week?'' She hissed at Jack. At first he looked confused, but then he realized that she was right.

''Yeah, that's right. I was planning a surprise party.'' Paris frowned his eyebrows and turned back to look at Jack, who scratches the back of his head nervously.

''My bad.'' He chuckled. Paris looked back at Chel.

''The thing you wanted, could it wait for a while?'' He asked. Chel shook her head.

''No, I have waited long enough.'' Chel said and looked at the young woman behind Paris before taking a step closer to Paris and bringing her face to his ear.

''I'm pregnant.'' She whispered so that only he heard. Paris eyes locked into a shocked expression and his chin dropped slightly. Chel pulled back and their eyes meet for a second and a weak smile crept across her lips. Paris gulped slightly before he turned back to look at Zandra, who now started to look worried.

Wanted to update today before I'm going out with my friends celebrating my 20th birthday today, so think of this as a birthday gift from me to you! :D Haha, no but seriously.

Finally Chel told Paris about the baby, now what is he going to do about it?

And Amazonia being able to see into the future? Could that really be possible?

Next time: Paris has to decide who he wants to be with, everyone at the palace will get an unsuspected visitor.
