Just give me a reason
Chel looked down at the gorgeous ring between Paris's thumb and index-finger. Tears of joy started to fill her eyes. Then she looked at Paris and her heart skipped a beat, like it always had done when she had set her eyes onto him.
She loved Paris, she loved him more than anything, except maybe Teddy and the baby she was carrying. Which brought her eyes over to Teddy that stood next to Paris, he looked up at her with his innocent big brown eyes and his adorable goofy smile. She couldn't stop herself from sighing and smiling.
''Yes, of course I will marry you.'' She said and looked back at Paris. A huge smile grew across his lips and he stood up again, putting his palm onto the back of her neck and pulled her face towards him and the couple shared a long passionate kiss. When they broke apart, Paris slide on the ring onto Chel's left ring-finger.
It was right after lunch-hour and Breanna puffed and leaned against the counter while losing her apron slightly. She turned around when she heard a female voice calling for her.
''Breanna, can I take a break?'' A young girl with teal-colored hair put into a bun at the back of her head walked behind the counter with a tray of glasses and coffee-mugs. It was Breanna's co-worker and the other waitress, Chas.
''Yeah, you go. I can manage.'' Breanna smiled. Chas walked inside the kitchen leaving Breanna alone with only a few customers sitting down. Her peace were soon cut short when she saw a familiar face with raven hair walk through the door. She growled and clenched her teeth slightly.
''What are you doing here?!'' She hissed quietly and leaned over the disk. Jack walked over to her and looked over his shoulder slightly before leaning over the disk as well.
''You have been ignoring my calls.'' He whispered over at her.
''I can't take this right now, I'm working.'' She snapped, making some of the customers turn around to look at then weirdly, before going back to their coffee. Breanna sighed and turned back to face Jack.
''You need to go.'' She said determent to make him leave. Jack was about to argue with her, but they were both interrupted when Chas came back from the kitchen. The young girl looked at the two of them confused.
''Is there a problem?'' She asked. Jack sighed deeply before looking at Breanna one more time.
''We need to work this out.'' He whispered to her before leaving. Breanna glared at him angrily before sighing heavily. Chas walked over to her.
''Are you okay?'' She asked. Breanna forced a smile and looked at her.
''I'm fine, I can handle him.'' She replied her and smiled. Chas looked at her hesitatingly, but decided to drop it.
Water poured through the small steam going through the forest and under a tiny wooden bridge. Chel and Paris pulled away from a kiss and both smiled down at Teddy grimacing disgust up at them.
''Oh my god.'' Chel said suddenly and walked off the bridge and onto land again. Paris tilted his head slightly as he walked after her, Teddy following him standing by his side.
''We should do outside.'' She added. Paris frowned his eyebrows and looked around.
''Yeah, but not here?'' He asked, suspecting that it was what she had meant.
''Why not?'' She asked and walked over to him.
''Alter here.'' She pointed to the bridge and turned him around slightly so that he was standing in front of the bridge.
''Handsome groom, standing right here!'' She smirked before turning away.
''Guests here and here, looking back at the…'' She said before running away and stopped a few metres away and turned around.
''Beautiful, stunning bride!'' She said seductively and batted her eyelashes.
''Yeah and her baby-bump!'' He called back at her. Chel reached up to grab a small cluster of cherry-flowers, before slowly walking back over to Paris and Teddy. The young man looked down at the boy and they both shook their heads.
''I'll walk down the aisle, very proud. Here I come, rebellious, pregnant and you will say to yourself…'' Paris reached out to grab a hold of her wrist and pulling her into his embrace.
''Hurry up woman.'' They both laughed.
''And as you say you vows, it's going to hit you. You are going to be tied to this crazy woman for the rest of your life. Aren't you afraid to think about that?'' Chel grinned.
''Well when you do put it that way…'' Paris leaned in closer with a smirk on his face, their faces almost touching each other and their lips was about to meet.
''I'm out of here!'' Paris yelled and took a small jump over the steam.
''No you ain't! Come on Teddy, catch him!'' Chel laughed as she and Teddy set after him and chasing Paris all over the place.
After a long and stressful day, Jack walked inside his bedroom and threw himself onto the bed and let out a loud and frustrated grunt. Never had he meet a girl with the same level of stubbornness as Breanna.
Usually he would just have to snap his fingers and he would have which girl he liked to run after him, but with Breanna it was so much different.
But that was also one of the many things that he liked about her, she wouldn't take any orders from him and nor did he want her to. He liked the fact the she wanted to stand up by herself on her own legs and that she had respect for herself.
He could feel a buzz into his pocket and took out his phone and looked at it. It was a text from Paris telling him to go see him right away. Jack sighed pressed backwards, and saw that his last read message was from Kimberly. Then he got confused. When did he get that? Then it hit him, oh my god!
Back at the palace, Fiona baby-sat Melody and they sat together into one of the common-rooms reading a children's book.
''Do you know what animal that is? That's a bird, a flamingo.'' She said and pointed at the pink bird with long legs into the book. Melody snuggled closer to Fiona and yawned. Fiona smiled and stroke the toddler over her magenta colored hair before going back to the book.
They both looked up when they heard the door open and saw Amazonia with a book in her hand.
''Sorry, I didn't know there was somebody in here.'' The brown-haired pregnant beauty said and was about to leave but Fiona made her turn around again.
''It's okay, you can stay if you want.'' The green-haired fairy said and smiled slightly. Amazonia frowned her eyebrows slightly and a weak smile grew across her lips.
''Really?'' She asked. Fiona thought for a second before nodding her head. Amazonia's smile grew larger before she took a seat onto the couch opposite the one Fiona and Melody sat in and opened her own book. Fiona glanced at her former boyfriend's wife for a second, before going back to read for Melody.
Jack was on his way over to Breanna. He was going to fix this whole misunderstanding once and for all. After he saw that text from Kimberly, everything just fell into place. Some way, Breanna had seen it and just misread the situation, and after he had explained it, everything would be just like it should be. He was too caught up into his thoughts, and he didn't even notice the other car coming from the side. So he just drove out of the road, and the other car rammed into Jack's passenger side, making the car spin around. With blood running down from his temple, Jack laid unconscious over the steering-wheel.
Hi everyone, I realize this was a quite short chapter but I will try to update the next one faster.
What do you think, will Jack be able to convince Breanna about the story behind Kimberly's text-message, will he even be able to tell her?
Yay for Paris and Chel getting engaged! Will they be able to get it to the alter this time?
Nice to see Fiona making an effort to make things work out between her and Amazonia. :-)
I know I have really bad about writing any Riven/Musa storylines, and I'm afraid that I might need a little help with that bit. If you have any ideas for a storyline for Riven/Musa please give me some advice and I'll see if I can make them work out with the rest of the storyline, so you can either review or PM me and I will get back to you. But please, no pregnancy just yet. One because I think it's too early for them to have another baby, and two because we already have two babies on their way.
Next time: Paris gets called to the hospital, Chel visits Breanna to ask her for a favor, Zandra goes back to visit Nick in prison.
