Relapse
Tulio stood in distance with his arms crossed over his chest, tapping his foot impatiently while watching Amazonia and Aqua. What he wouldn't give to be able to hear their conversation right now.
''You need to come back with me.'' Aqua said. Amazonia tightened her fists and growled.
''Are you completely out of your mind? I'm married! I'm having a baby!'' She said and placed her hands onto her head. Was she for real?
''Even if I could, I would never in a million years go anywhere with you.''
''I only wanted to see you for one reason. We are done with each other, I don't owe you anything.'' Amazonia said and it felt like a two hundred pound heavy stone fell from her chest, but it probably had no effect what so ever to Aqua.
''That's my grand-child, you're my daughter and you are coming home.'' Aqua hissed angrily and opened her palm, revealing a small bottle with a turquoise liquid in it. Amazonia looked down at the bottle before looking back up at Aqua.
''I'm done with you. You're not coming anywhere near me or my baby.'' Amazonia said before turning around, ready to leave.
''You should show your mama some respect.'' This made Amazonia turn back around.
''What makes you think that you will be any different than me? When that baby is born, you will realize that we are not so different after all.'' Aqua starred at her youngest daughter. Amazonia looked into those cold eyes and she couldn't find one single trace of love anywhere in them.
''I'm nothing like you.'' She hissed angrily.
''I'm going to have a real family. You don't care about me, you just can't stand to see me happy.'' She added.
''And are you?'' Aqua asked and frowned her eyebrows slightly. Amazonia stared at her angrily.
''I'll be, you get out of my life!'' Amazonia spat angrily and before she knew it, she cupped her red aching cheek. She looked in surprise at Aqua, but she didn't really know why she was surprised. It was not like it was the first time she had slapped her across the face.
It didn't take long before she could see Tulio standing by her side in the corner of her eye, but she couldn't take her eyes away from her mothers.
But instead of letting Aqua see the fear and hurt that she felt, Amazonia did something that she never had done before. She dropped her hands to her side and just starred directly Aqua into the eyes, telling her that she couldn't touch her anymore. She was stronger now and she wasn't going to curl up into a ball and cry. This seemed to frighten her, because Aqua soon dove and fled.
Tulio looked after her in rage and disgust. How he detested that woman. He was about to embrace Amazonia, but before he where able to, she hurried back onto the beach and started to walk.
Breanna stood into the kitchen area chopping vegetables as she hummed. She heard the front door open and close.
''Fiona, you're early.'' She called out and smiled before she put a slice of cucumber into her mouth. She looked up when she saw a shadow coming from the hallway, but didn't saw Fiona as she expected. Instead, Jack stood there in front of her.
''I guess you were excepting somebody else?'' He sighed. Breanna put the knife down onto the counter.
''Fiona will be here any minute, I think that it's better if you leave.'' She spat and glared at him angrily.
''I think we need to talk.'' Jack began as he walked around and inside into the kitchen-area. What possible about; Breanna thought angrily.
''About what you saw before.'' He added.
''She's pregnant isn't she? And you're the father?'' She said sadly. And the thought replaced the pain with heart-ache.
''What? No, that's not it.'' He sighed. Breanna frowned her eyebrows and put her hands onto her waist.
''Then why were you at the healer?'' She asked, not convinced or believing one word that came out of his mouth. Jack thought for a second, what could he tell her without breaking his promise to Kimberly. But no matter how much he thought, he couldn't think of anything.
''I can't tell you. I promised not to say anything.'' He mumbled. Breanna shook her head and folded her arms across her chest.
''You say that you want to be with me, still you think it's okay to keep secrets from me?'' She said.
''Do you really think you can build a foundation on that?'' She added before walking past him and was about to go upstairs. But Jack followed and grabbed her arm.
''I need you, and I think you could need me.'' He whispered and closed the gap between them. Breanna could feel his warm breath onto the back of her head. She turned around and pointed a finger at him, with burning cheeks.
''Okay, let's get one thing straight right now!'' She spat angrily.
''I wanted you in my life, I don't need you.'' She said while she tried her absolute hardest not to break down in tears.
''There is a difference.'' She added.
''I love you.'' Jack blurted out without thinking. Breanna gasped slightly.
''What did you just say?'' Tears stared to well up in her eyes. What did he say? Had she heard right or did she need to get her hearing checked out.
''I love you.'' It was actually just as surprised to him that he had said it, because never in his entire life had he actually said those words to anyone. But it was true, it was so fucking true!
Musa walked inside the kitchen, supporting Melody onto her hip. The princess helped her daughter down into her high security chair.
''Daddy.'' Melody giggled. Musa sighed and sat down next to her.
''No darling, daddy's working.'' Again. It had been a lot of work on Riven's part lately and Musa really did understand that he had to do it. But sometimes she really wished that they had could have more time for each other.
''Bananana.'' Melody said again, making Musa smile. She took one yellow fruit from the bowl onto the counter and peeled it before giving it to her daughter. In that moment the doors opened and Riven walked inside.
''I thought you were working?'' Musa asked him. Riven smirked over at her and leaned over the counter.
''I finished early.'' He said.
''I thought we could go into town and eat.'' He added and Musa's face lightened up. Riven walked around the counter and wrapped his arms around Musa's shoulders.
''We could use some quality time together.'' That was something that they both could agree on.
''I'm sure Tulio can monster-sit for an hour or two.'' Riven said and they both turned to look at their daughter who had banana smeared all over her face.
''Or what do you say monster?'' Riven smiled over at the toddler.
''Bananana.'' Melody laughed. Both of them laughed as well.
Then the doors opened and they turned and looked up at Tulio and Amazonia walking inside. Tulio was slightly red in his face while Amazonia was pale.
Not only was she white as a sheet, but she had an empty expression into her eyes that scared all of them. Amazonia was normally full of life and her bright blue eyes could outshine a million stars.
''Where have you been?'' Musa gasped by the sight of Amazonia. Tulio sighed and took a look at Amazonia.
''We went to see Aqua.'' He mumbled quietly, but it was loud enough for Musa to hear.
''What?!'' She exclaimed but she soon calmed down and forced a smile.
''Do you want something to eat?'' She asked. Amazonia didn't look at her, they were not even sure if she even had noticed if Musa and Riven were there.
''I'm going to take a shower.'' She mumbled before leaving. Tulio reached out for her but she walked past him and left.
''I knew this was a bad idea.'' He sighed heavily as he looked after her.
''What happened?'' Riven asked as Tulio took a set opposite them.
''I don't know, I stayed at the beach.'' The red headed prince replied his oldest sibling. They sat quietly for a few seconds before Tulio ran a hand through his hair.
''She slapped her.'' He added.
''While she was pregnant?!'' Musa spat angrily as sparks of magic escaped her fingertips.
Breanna stood completely still and just kept on starring onto Jack. Frozen all the way from her neck down to the very last millimetre of her toes. For a few seconds she even forgot how to breath.
''Don't, just stop it.'' She said and was about to walk away again. But Jack was able to step in front of her, blocking her way to escape.
''Breanna, I love you. I love you and I need you don't you see that?'' He said and put his hands onto her bare shoulders. Only the touch of his skin against hers made her shiver. Both in a good and bad way.
''Well I'm sorry, but you have to let me go.'' She replied him without even looking at him. Jack sighed and nodded. Slowly he backed away and let his arms fell to his sides.
''I can't. Because if I don't have you, I don't have anything left.'' He said sadly and crossed his arms across his chest while giving his shoulders a slight shrug. Breanna dared to looked up at him once again.
''That's not true! You're life is not that pathetic.'' She replied him and crossed her own arms across her chest. Jack sighed sadly and attempted to give her a weak smile.
''For that nano second I thought we might actually have a chance at something.'' He began, but paused shortly as he sighed again.
''It was the first time in months that I didn't feel so totally alone.'' He added. Ever since Zandra had returned and she and Paris took over the mansion, maybe even before that, Jack had felt like this weren't his place anymore.
Sure he had Paris and many other friends. The royal family was only a small number. He was happy for Paris and Chel, in his eyes there wasn't two other people more meant for each other than them. But seeing the two of them, Tulio and Amazonia, or any other couple for that matter. He knew that something in his life was missing. Until she came along.
Breanna had made everything in Jack's life complete somehow, like she was the missing piece in the puzzle that was Jack Forrester.
The two of them stood quite for a moment, just looking straight at each other. Eventually, Jack walked over towards her again and put his hands onto her waist.
''We can have that future that you always wanted.'' He whispered. Breanna's cheeks started to turn hot and red again.
''You need to leave Jack.'' She said and pushed him into the chest with both of her hands. The both of them started to talk to each other at the same time, one trying to outvote the other.
''The white picket fence, the kids playing outside.'' Jack said.
''That was a stupid dream that I never should have told you.'' Breanna hissed angrily and turned around with her back facing him.
''It's not a stupid dream and you know why?'' Jack replied her and slowly started to walk towards her.
''Because it's what I want to. All you have to do is give me one chance to prove it.'' He whispered and carefully wrapped his arms around her slime waist and placed his chin onto her shoulder.
For a second Breanna actually considered it, but she soon got to her senses. How could she ever be able to trust him?
She broke away from his grip and turned around again. She looked at him with something that she thought would be disgust. Jack seemed to have recognized the look in his eyes, because he put his palms up in front of himself, as to protect himself from a possible outburst from the woman he claimed to love.
''I know that you are angry right now, and I understand that. But honey this...'' He said and reached out to touch her again, but Breanna quickly pulled away.
''Please, don't touch me.'' She said and looked at him as she wrapped her arms around herself. Jack sighed and ran a hand through his hair.
''Come on Breanna, it's me.'' He said.
''I know.'' Breanna nodded and were once again on the verge of tears. Jack sighed and put his hands onto his waist.
''Do you really?'' He asked.
''I just don't know what that means anymore.'' She whimpered, even if she tried to get a grip of herself.
''Don't talk like that, this is just a bad day. We could make this work.'' He said.
''No, no.'' Breanna repeated as she could feel that she was close to completely break out in tears. But she couldn't let him see her like that.
''No what? Look we can work this out.'' Jack whispered as he slowly walked towards her.
''No!'' Breanna cried hard and covered her face with her palms. In that moment Fiona walked inside the front door and into the living-room.
''Sorry I'm a little late, but…'' She stopped by the sight of Jack and Breanna, both crying. Jack still looked at Breanna that had her face covered.
''Jack? What are you doing here?'' Fiona asked and frowned her eyebrows. Breanna finally looked up at Jack with red puffy eyes and sniffled.
''He was just leaving.'' She said.
''I'm not!'' Jack said and reached out to touch her but Breanna moved away.
''He was just… leaving.'' She said again. Eventually Jack nodded sadly and ran his trembling hand over his face once before walking over to the door with his trembling body and left the house.
When she heard the front door shut closed, Breanna started to sob again and covered her mouth. Fiona still confused what had been going on before she arrived, walked over to Breanna and put a hand onto the other girls shoulder.
''Breanna, tell me what happened.'' She said as Breanna started to hyperventilate and her entire body started to shake frantically.
''It's over.'' Was the only thing the only words that she managed to say. Fiona was still not really sure, but apparently Breanna and Jack had a relationship and she remembered what Breanna had told her and happened at the wedding. Fiona embraced her and let Breanna cry out onto her shoulder.
When Jack finally returned to the mansion, he hurried back to his room, in hope without being spotted. He couldn't handle any problems or anything else right now, he just wanted to be alone.
When he got there he closed the door behind him and took a look around. Something about the room was different, it was cold, dark… and it felt like a prison.
Jack dropped the keys right down on the floor and slowly opened the wardrobe door and looked down onto the open suit-case that laid there. He reached down to grab onto the thing that had caught his attention. A light grey blouse with white polka dots.
He must have grabbed it by mistake when he packed his things to move back to the mansion. Tears escaped from the corner of his eye as he clutched onto his tightly and brought it closer to his chest. More tears came as he sank down to the floor slowly.
In the middle of the night, the young girl that Oliver had saves woke up. She gasped for air and sat up straight in bed. She sat still for a couple of seconds before looking around the empty room. Where was she? How did she get here?
Carefully, she threw her legs over the edge of the bed and her bare feet meet the wooden floor. Slowly and slightly unstable, she made her way over to the window and opened the window.
The fresh midnight breeze brushed against her light skin and blew in her long blonde wavy hair. Her light blue eyes looked up at the night sky and the full moon. She stood there for another minute or two. The moon-light made her feel extraordinary better in no time.
Now it was time to find out where she was. She walked towards the door and left the room and wrapped her arms around herself. She didn't have to go far before she ran into Oliver.
He had tossed and turned for hours, but he just couldn't seem to go to sleep. So instead, he decided to get up and get something to eat.
''You're awake.'' Oliver said and smiled widely. The young girl backed away slightly, but there was something about the stranger in front of her that seemed… safe.
Amazonia panted heavily in her sleep as drops of sweat ran down her forehead and tears ran down her cheeks.
For years her nightmares had been haunted by Aqua buried her beneath the sand onto the bottom of the ocean. But lately it had been different, instead Aqua buried her and Tulio's child instead. Of course this was even worse than the first one, but this time it was different than before.
As usually she could see the small infant with the red locks of hair and deep sapphire blue eyes, neatly wrapped in a blanket. As the baby was placed into a small hole into the sand, it started crying when it was being covered with sand. But it wasn't Aqua who filled the hole up. It was Amazonia herself.
''NO!'' Amazonia screamed in horror and sat straight up as she woke up. Tulio was startled and almost rolled out of bed. Amazonia sat completely still and stared blankly right in front of her as tears ran down her cheeks.
Tulio sighed and wrapped both of his arms around her and pulled her closer to him. He kissed her head before resting his cheek onto it.
''It's alright. It's just a nightmare.'' He whispered. Yes, just a nightmare. But he didn't know how this horrible nightmare just had taken a turn for the worse.
The following morning, Oliver walked in together into the dinning-hall with the young girl. She looked around into the massive room where a dozens of round tables stood. And all of them had different kinds of delicious and healthy foods.
They sat down by one of the free tables and Oliver turned around to look at her.
''What would you like to have for breakfast?'' He asked, but didn't get an answer. Instead the young girl only looked at him blankly.
In that moment, Zandra walked inside and Oliver waved over to her. She smiled and started to walk towards them.
''Good morning.'' She said cheerfully and smiled over at the girl. But before Zandra even had the time to say anything, the young girl's face locked into a horrified expression and clutched onto and started to pull Oliver's arm while holding a firm gaze onto Zandra.
''Are you okay?'' Zandra asked and took a step closer to her, but then the girl started to freak out even more. Even if Oliver tried to calm her down and everyone else in the room looked at them in confusion, Zandra thought that the best thing was for her to leave.
''Witch!'' The young girl gasped.
This morning, the breakfast was served into the kitchen instead of the dinning-room because of Topaz and Miguel's absents as they visited Ruby. And with Chel and Teddy moved out, and Riven being too busy with his work he had to do in his father's absents, it seemed pointless to set the dinning-room.
Amazonia sat and looked outside through the windows, completely unaware that Tulio was talking to her.
''Cereals then?'' He asked and looked at her. But there was still no reply from Amazonia whatsoever. Tulio sighed and soon he was about to lose his patience.
''Amazonia, please.'' He whispered, but Amazonia still didn't even seemed to noticed that he was there. Tulio turned to Musa who sat opposite them.
''Do something.'' He whispered. Musa sighed and reached over the island counter and gently took a hold of Amazonia's arm. But when she didn't even responded to Musa's touch, Tulio had to try his absolute hardest not to begin to shout at her.
''Can't you at least eat something?'' Tulio raised his voice and tried to get eye contact with his wife. For what he knew, Amazonia hadn't eaten anything for the last three days, and now he started to get desperate.
''Think of the baby!'' He added. And for the first time, Amazonia snapped out of her trance. And with a horrified expression she looked at him and then over to Musa, before standing up and left the kitchen.
In frustration, Tulio ran his hands through his red hair and pulled it slightly.
''We need to do something!'' He sighed and looked up at Musa, who lifted Melody into her lap. She sighed as well.
''We're trying.'' She replied.
''She's entire in her own bubble, it can't be good for her to feel like this.'' Tulio said. And he was really starting to get worried. He knew what meeting Aqua was doing to Amazonia, but it had to be something more than just that.
''Maybe we should call Paris.'' Musa added and looked at him. He squinted his eyes slightly and his violet eyes turned dark.
''No.'' He muttered.
''Because that doesn't suit you?!'' Musa spat angrily.
''Amazonia is walking around here like a complete zombie, going through who knows what and you can't even swallow your pride to try to help her.'' She hissed angrily before standing up and leaving together with Melody.
Tulio sat with his chin hanging down and looked after her in surprise. Maybe Musa was right. He hated the fact that Paris maybe were the one that could get through to Amazonia, when he himself seemed useless in the matter.
-Breanna stood into the kitchen area by one side and starred onto a brown paper bag standing onto the counter on the other side.
She didn't know how long she stood there for, but it felt like hours. Just the thought of what the bag contained made her breaths heavier.
Slowly she walked towards it and soon stood just in front of it. Her hands trembled as the grabbed the top and opened it. She sighed deeply before reaching down the bag and took out a orange transparent small jar filled with tiny beige pills.
She held it into her palm for a few seconds before screwing off the lid and poured out a couple into her hand. She took another deep breath and placed the jar back onto the counter.
This was it? This was when she was going to chuck away her sobriety.
Breanna! You put those pills down and slowly back away from the counter! No, but seriously. Is she really going to chuck away all her hard work for a sober, healthier and happier life?
Melody, cutest thing that ever would walk on ground!
Aqua have once again been treating Amazonia badly, but did she finally get the message? I can't even imagine what Amazonia is going through, will Tulio be able to help her in time or even at all? What will this hold for Amazonia's unborn child?
And the girl. Who is she? What happen to her? And why is she calling Zandra a witch?
Next time, Someone warns Jack to stay away from Breanna, Tulio asks someone for help and things gets worse for Amazonia.
