Just the way you are

Breanna closed the door behind her and walked down the corridor and into the living-room area.

Kimberly stood with her back towards her, watching as the waves flushed up onto the sandy beach.

''Whatever you have to say, just say it.'' Breanna groaned and sat down onto one of the couches. Kimberly turned around with her arms folded underneath her chest.

''I heard that you and Jack... dated.'' She replied her and sat down into the other couch.

''Well, we're not.'' Breanna spat back quickly. Kimberly starred at her for a moment, not looking completely convinced.

''Yes we did have a short thing awhile ago, I've been high longer than that.'' Breanna spat angrily.

''It didn't go anywhere, it didn't really mean anything.'' She added. Kimberly frowned her eyebrows.

''Well it seems to mean a whole lot to Jack.'' She said irritated.

''Well maybe he should have thought about that before he...'' Breanna hissed angrily but stopped before she might have said anything she might regret, and looked down into her lap.

''Before he what?'' Kimberly asked. Breanna looked back up at her.

''Don't treat me like I'm completely brain-less.'' She raised her voice and her cheeks started to turn red.

''I know exactly what's going on between the two off you.'' She hissed angrily as she stood up.

''There is nothing going on between us!'' Kimberly hissed back at her.

''What about the text-message?'' Breanna asked and folded her arms across her chest, still not convinced and dying to find out what kind of rubbish explanation she possibly could have.

''What text-message?'' Kimberly spat angrily.

''Oh.'' She exclaimed before she barely even finished her question, she understood what Breanna must have meant.

''Well maybe I shouldn't have formulated myself like that.'' Kimberly added and explained to Breanna what had happened between herself and Jack a few weeks ago in town and how she had referred to Breanna as Jack's dirty little secret in the text message.

Surprisingly Breanna could have accepted her explanation, if it hadn't been for what she had seen outside the healer a few days ago and all of the hush-hush around it.

''What about that visit you made with the healer? Why couldn't he tell me about that?'' Breanna asked. Kimberly sighed and looked down.

''Because I made him swear not tell anyone!'' She whispered weakly. Breanne frowned her eyebrows and her hand fell to her sides.

''Why not?'' She groaned. Kimberly looked up at her again and her cheeks started to turn pink.

''Can't you just trust him? If I told you that nothing is going on, can't you just take my word for it?'' Kimberly spat angrily.

Breanna knot her hands into fists and had to take a deep breath. Normally she would be able to keep her cool, but for some reason she had a big desire to punch Kimberly in the face.

''I've had enough of this.'' She growled angrily and turned and started to walk back towards the front door. Kimberly ran after her and before she could stop herself.

''I was raped.'' She called after Breanna. Breanna stop abruptly and froze for a second. Slowly she dared to turn around to face Kimberly, who's cheeks had turned soaked with tears. She took a deep breath and nodded.

''Jack offered to come with me to the healer so that I wouldn't have to go alone.'' She added. Breanna swallowed hard and suddenly she could feel a huge lump of guilt form into her stomach.

Early that next morning Chel and Paris sat together in their common bedroom. Even if the table in front of them were flooded with colour samples, fabric samples and everything else that you could possible need to decorate a nursery, neither one of them seemed to notice.

Ever since they got married, Chel and Paris had been pretty much in separate. Literally. Finally, they both broke apart to catch their breaths.

''Are you sure this is how it's done?'' He asked with a smirk. Chel frowned her eyebrows.

''Do you have a better idea how to choose paint for the nursery?'' She asked.

''One kiss, no. Two kisses, yes?'' He added. Chel sighed and looked at him with a disappointed attempt to a smile and grabbed a sheet of yellowish colours.

''I guess this one is a no them.'' She said and threw the sheet across the room.

''Well there is a few months left, we have plenty of time.'' Paris said and wrapped his arm around her shoulders.

''Time flies by. Before you know it she'll come home with her first boyfriend.'' Chel giggled as Paris frowned his eyebrows.

''Luckily we have a fully stocked and operational weapon storage.'' He said in a most serious tone and there was no doubt in Chel's mind that he was even kidding.

Breanna ran up the stairs and into the mansion with a light blue round tin box in her hands. She sighed nervously as she looked around after the raven hair she was looking for. She walked around for what seemed like several minutes and in the end, she was lost in an empty corridor.

Luckily a few seconds later, Jack came walking from around the corner with another young man. Breanna gulped slightly.

''Alright man, I'll see you later.'' Jack said to the other man as he walked back in the direction they came from.

''Hey.'' Breanna said with a smile making Jack look up and realize that she was there. He frowned his eyebrows at her before looking down at the tin box in her hands.

''What's this?'' He sighed and looked back up at her. Breanna cleared her throat nervously.

''They are apology cookies.'' She said quietly.

''When I do something messed up, I bake.'' She said and gave him a nervous smile. Jack nodded and ran a hand through his hair.

''You know, just forget about it.'' He said and was about to walked past her, but she put one palm over his chest and made him stay.

''I can't forget about it. I'm an idiot Jack. Kimberly came to see me, she told me everything.'' She said and looked down slightly, trying to hide the shame in her eyes.

''You know I might be an asshole some times, but I don't lie.'' Jack said and frowned his eyebrows slightly. Breanna shook her head.

''I know, I know I messed up and I'm still hoping that I'm not too late to fix it.'' She said.

''Look, I spend the whole night making you these cookies, so eat one. They are really good.'' She reached the box over to him.

''I really don't think cookies will….'' He began and pushed the box back.

''You haven't tried one yet.'' She interrupted with a smile and pointed a finger at his chest.

''Breanna, I don't have to. I just want you to…'' He began but was interrupted when Breanna grabbed the back of his hand and leaned upwards to kiss him, making him shut up. Jack brought his hand up to her chin and kissed her back. When they broke apart, Jack grinned.

''That's way better then cookies.'' He chuckled and Breanna giggled before going back to her more sad expression.

''I'm sorry. '' She said. Jack sighed and smiled at her.

''You know, if you weren't to freaking adorable. I wouldn't have this conversation right now.'' He said. Breanna smiled again.

''Can we start over?'' She asked.

''Of course.'' He said and leaned down to place a soft kiss.

Musa stood by the entrance out to the courtyard watching Amazonia sitting onto a bench by herself.

She sighed quietly before slowly walking over towards her.

''Can I join you?'' She said quietly. Amazonia looked up at her for a second before nodding her head.

Musa took a seat next to her and the both of them sat there quietly for a moment. The light breeze blowing against their skin. The birds chirped in distance and the muffled laughter and chatter coming from the townspeople in town could be barely heard.

''She told me that I was just like her.'' Amazonia whispered finally. Musa turned around to look at her.

''Who did?'' She asked.

''My mother.'' And then suddenly everything became clear. That's it. The reason why Amazonia had been acting the way she had these last couple of days was fear. Fear that she would become just like Aqua. Fear that she wouldn't be able love the baby she was carrying.

Anger filled Musa. How she hated that awful woman. Not only was she cold and heartless, but she intentionally wanted to break and hurt her own daughter.

''You know when I was pregnant the first time, I loved that baby from the very first moment I found out.'' Musa finally spoke. Even if she didn't look at her, Musa knew that Amazonia was listing.

''And when I lost it, I thought that I never would be able to love again.'' She added sadly, but Amazonia still didn't bother to look at her.

''And with Melody, I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to love her just as much as the first one.'' First now, Amazonia turned around. A surprised but sadden frown formed onto her face.

''You were?'' Amazonia whispered. Musa nodded.

''I never told anyone because I was ashamed of myself.'' Musa said and took Amazonia's hand in hers.

''But let me tell you something, from that very first moment you hear, see or hold that baby there is not going to be anything else that can ever compare to that love you will feel.'' Musa added. Once again they sat together for a short moment. Musa took a deep breath.

''And even if you might get off track for a short time, then we'll be prepared. We'll get you the help you need.'' She said and squeezed Amazonia's hand slightly.

''But you can't keep on worrying about what might happen in the future. The only thing that matters is the present.'' Amazonia sighed and turned away slightly, trying to hide the tear that ran down her cheek and quickly brushed it away.

''I could never understand what made her hate me so much. I thought that if I tried hard enough then maybe someday she might actually care.'' Amazonia said as she looked down into her lap.

''But I was always going to fail. I was never going to be good enough.'' She added and looked up again, on the verge of tears.

''That's not true.'' She turned around to look at Musa who starred back at her.

''You're good enough.'' Musa added. Amazonia swallowed hard and her breath trembled.

Even if Aqua might not, she knew that she was loved by a lot of people. But never in her life had she heard those words said to her, and for once that was just what she needed to hear right now.

Excited, Jack walked out from his bedroom and down to the second floor. On his way down to the courtyard where he was expected, he saw Chel.

''Hey you.'' He said and stopped besides her. Chel turned around and looked at him.

''Hey.'' She replied and put her hands onto her waist, stretching her back slightly.

''You settled in yet?'' He asked and pulled on a pair of white leather gloves.

''I'm getting there.'' She replied him with a smile.

''Where are you going?'' She added when she saw the overall he was wearing.

''Me and some of the guys thought we would take the new 360 hovers for a spin.'' He replied and the two of them started to walk down the corridor.

''Hmm I would love to go.'' Chel said with a hint of annoyance in her tone. She loved her baby more than anything, but being pregnant and no-to-adventures was starting to get on her nerve.

''Sorry, not in your condition. You should be knitting booties or hanging out with your baby daddy.'' Jack replied with a smirk as they both stopped outside the half closed door leading in side Paris's study. But unaware of who sat inside and overheard their conversation.

Zandra had only been suppose to pick up a couple of document, in hope to be able to do so and go back home to the ranch without running in to someone. Clearly that didn't work out.

She quietly walked over and stopped behind the half-open door, torturing herself by listening to their conversation. Maybe it was just better if she would've let them know what she was there.

''He took the day off, so we're nesting. Planning the nursery.'' She could her Chel's soft voice coming from outside.

''Paris is so sweet. I feel like the most pampered mother-to-be in the world. I have everything that I ever wanted.'' She added with a huge smile. If possible, Jack's smile was even wider as he looked down at the small bump underneath white tank-top. There was no secret that he wanted Chel and Paris together.

''Let me see here.'' Zandra could hear Jack from outside.

''I'm getting bigger.'' Chel replied him with a giggle and Zandra had to cover her mouth to prevent herself from making her presence know.

Amazonia laid in bed staring up into the ceiling with Tulio's next to her, one arm resting onto her stomach, the other one under her head.

She felt his warm breath onto her forehead with every breath that he took, and for the first time for what seemed like weeks she felt a kind of peace.

They laid there together for a long while without saying anything, but finally she broke the silence.

''I feel so disgusting and ashamed. Like I'm not even suppose to be alive.'' Amazonia whispered.

''Nothing of this is your fault.'' Tulio replied as he rested his chin onto her head and stroke her long brown curls. Amazonia had to bit her lips slightly to stop herself from bursting out in tears again.

''What if I'm just like her.'' She added but was interrupted by him.

''Don't think like that!'' He spat at her, but still didn't sound too harsh. Amazonia took a deep breath. Tulio started to move the hand that was placed onto her stomach and stroke it.

''This is our child. Yours and mine.'' He added with a smile.

''This is going to be the most beautiful and loved baby in the whole world.'' He said before kissing her temple. Amazonia closed her eyes and for a few seconds she forgot and just enjoyed the touch of his lips against her skin.

''But my dream…'' She tried again, but once again he interrupted her.

''I don't care about that or your mother. Because I know who you are.'' He said and brought his hand to hers and entwined their fingers.

''And I love you, just the way you are.'' He added again. He didn't care what he would have to do. If needed he would do everything to keep Aqua away from Amazonia.

Chel folded her arms across her chest and frowned her eyebrows while a wide smile grew across her lips.

''Go ahead, say it.'' She said. Jack looked at her questioning and frowned his eyebrows as well.

''What?'' He chuckled slightly.

''I sound like some sappy greeting card.'' She added as her smile grew even wider.

''Are you kidding? It's good to see you like this, you deserve it.'' He added.

''Well it got on the wrong track for a while, but it turned out right in the end.'' Chel's voice replied from outside the study. Zandra had to be careful not to let them hear her snort.

''Anyway, I got to run. I'm dropping Teddy off at the palace and I wanted to check on Amazonia.'' Chel added and started to walk off.

''Hold on, I'm coming out too.'' He said and started to walk with her out.

When their footsteps faded away, Zandra closed the door completely before slowly walking back over to the couch and sat down. She covered her face with her palms and started to sob quietly by her own.

However the door suddenly opening made her jump and looked up to meet Chel's surprised violet eyes. Zandra was quick to brush away much of the smudged mascara below her eyes and damp cheeks.

This was the first time they had seen each other since Paris made his choice.

I'm so sorry that this took such a long time to publish. It's been a couple of difficult weeks with several hospital visits. However I'm alright now and hoping that my writing will get back to the usual again.

Breanna finally found out what really happened with Jack and Kimberly, and they are finally back together again. Credit for Kimberly to come clean.

And what will happen between Chel and Zandra? Will they be able to be civil to each other or will something happen?

Amazonia is slowly on her way to get better. Musa and Tulio seem to be able to get through to her.

Next time; One persons actions could change many lives forever. The continue of Chel and Zandra.
