Everything has changed

A few days went by and it was the dawn of a new day. Breanna and Fiona sat together home at the beach-house, having their breakfast by the kitchen table.

''So, do you know what you're going to wear tonight?'' Breanna asked her best friend and sipped onto her tea. Fiona looked at her and frowned her eyebrows.

''We're going to stay in and watch a movie at his place, I doubt that I have to dress up.'' Fiona replied with a chuckled. Now it was Breanna's turn to frown hers.

''For the ball tonight. Don't tell me you forgot.'' Breanna sighed and rolled her eyes.

''Shit! I totally forgot about it.'' Fiona exclaimed and ran her fingers through her long green hair.

''I'll just have to cancel the movie-night then.'' Fiona sighed sadly, because she really preferred watching a movie with Declan then going at some ball at the palace. But she had to attend the ball.

''I guess I better get on with it then.'' She added and stood up.

''Where are you going?'' Breanna asked and looked after Fiona as she walked towards the front-door.

''The hospital, I'll see you later.'' Fiona called before the front-door opened and closed. Breanna thought for a second. She wasn't going to hide the fact that she wanted Fiona and Declan together. She really believed that Declan could be good for Fiona and she could really need someone special in her life. Who doesn't?
Breanna picked up her cell-phone and dialled a number and waited for someone of the other side to pick up.

''Amazonia, it's Breanna. I've a favour to ask you.'' Breanna said with a devious smile.

In the meantime, Fiona had arrived at the hospital and tracked down Declan. She explained that she had double-booked and they decided to just change the day of their date.

''Thanks for being understanding. It doesn't happen often, but even I mess up sometimes.'' Fiona giggled. Declan chuckled.

''It's easily done.'' He replied with a smile, before something caught his eyes behind Fiona.

''Don't turn around, but we're being watched.'' He whispered and Fiona frowned her eyebrows.

''By who?'' She asked.

''Her name is Sasha, one of the nurses. She's been trying to get me to ask her out for months, but she's really self-centred.'' He replied as he watched the young woman with bubble-pink hair dressed in a nurses uniform, giving Fiona a real sour look.

''Well, she'll just have to wait even longer and get in line.'' Fiona smirked and tiptoed up to place a kiss onto Declan's cheek.

''Bye.'' She winked before turning around to leave, and on her way out she even smiled over at Sasha. A few minutes later, one of the palace guards walked up to Declan.

''Dr Declan Shannon?'' He asked. Declan frowned his eyebrows.

''Yes.'' He replied.

''By the request of Princess Amazonia of Eldorado, I'd officially like to invite you to this evenings ball.'' The guard smiled and reached out en envelope with the royal crest and his name written on it with beautiful golden letters.

Later that same evening they were all at the ball at the palace. Miguel and Topaz sat at the end of the room at their thrones smiling at the people of their kingdom. Riven, Tulio and Jack stood together in a corner talking. Musa and Chel stood talking to some high class people. Oliver and Dawn stood talking to Mista and Yatz.

Breanna and Jack were probably hiding in some dark closet somewhere while Fiona stood quietly in a corner wishing that the night would end. Honestly, she had rather stayed at home to watch a movie or something with Hope. Or gone on another date with Declan as she was suppose to. She let out a load and bored grown as she suddenly got a glimpse of something unexpected.

She didn't know it her eyes were playing a trick on her or if she was just going crazy, but not far away there he stood. Declan stood only a few metres away from her talking to Sasha, the girl from the hospital. And he didn't seem to look so amused.

''Declan?'' Fiona asked surprised as she walked closer to them. Declan turned around to face her and by the looks of it, he seemed more pleased to see her that Sasha.

''Eh excuse me, but we were having a conversation here. You're interrupting.'' Sasha spat angrily.

''Oh I'm sorry, but I think that Dr Shannon here can get back to you tomorrow.'' Fiona smiled sweetly as she took a hold of Declan's arm and dragged him out with her onto the dance-floor. Declan wrapped one of his arms around her waist and held her hand with his other.

''I guess I've to thank you for saving me back there.'' Declan smiled at her as he twirled her around once.

''What are you doing here? I didn't know that you knew they royal family.'' Fiona asked and frowned her eyebrows slightly. Declan shook his head.

''I don't. Right after you left one of the palace guards came and gave me an invitation.'' He said and looked just as surprised as her. They some pieces got clearer to Fiona and she looked around for a moment, only to find Breanna and Amazonia standing together, watching them and looking quite satisfied. But the quickly looked away when Fiona looked their way.

''I should have known.'' Fiona rolled her eyes but a smile grew across her lips. For once, she was actually happy that someone interfered. This night suddenly got way more interesting.

As Zandra was spun around onto the dance floor by one of their soldiers, Paris stood into a corner watching her. He didn't even noticed when Tulio had snuck up besides him.

''Second thoughts?'' The prince, his brother-in-law said in a sarcastically tone. Paris looked at him with a stern glare.

''Go away Tulio!'' Paris hissed back at him and looked back over at Zandra.

''Well, you have been staring at her for the last half hour. First Zandra, then Chel, then Amazonia, then Chel again, and Zandra once more and then you went back to Chel once more. I think you might have some serious issues.'' Tulio added in a mocking voice. Paris turned around to look at Tulio and shot dirty glares at him.

''I'm going to tell you one thing, I love you sister! I love her!'' Paris hissed.

''Yes, but are you committed?'' Tulio asked and frowned his eyebrows.

''Goodbye Tulio! Goodbye!'' Paris said in a serious tone. If Tulio didn't lay off soon, Paris didn't think that he would be able to deck him.

''You got two women in love with you, one you're married to.'' Tulio hissed angrily as he raised his voice slightly, but still lowered it again when some heads turned their way.

''Paris, I really don't want to have to tell you this. But my sister, she has everything! Brains, beauty, wit. And I would like to this that she… that you deserve her.'' He added.

''So don't prove me wrong!'' Tulio spat angrily. Paris took one step closer to his brother-in-law and pointed one finger at his chest.

''I'm going to tell you something. Zandra hates my guts for what I did to her! She's soon out for my blood. Even if that was what I wanted, I could never get her back.'' Paris hissed again.

''What do you mean; did to her?'' Tulio asked. Paris dropped his chin and frowned his eyebrows.

''What do you mean what did I do to her? I sent her brother, the only family she has left to the Omega Dimension after she begged me not to.'' Paris hissed angrily.

''Oh, I just thought you meant the thing that Nick told me about when I went to visit him in the hospital.'' Tulio said and frowned his eyebrows.

''You went to see Nick? What did he tell you?'' Paris stuttered nervously, but tried his very best to hide it. Tulio smirked and left with another word.

''Tulio!'' Paris hissed quietly, but the red-headed prince soon disappeared into the crowd. Paris ran a his fingers through his brown hair and gulped hard. How much did he knew? But when it came to Nick, he was pretty sure that he had told him everything, which could be a disaster.

He looked around for a moment before heading into the crowd at the dance-floor searching for Zandra. It took him a moment, but he soon found her dancing with one of her soldiers.

''Excuse me, but I think it's my turn now.'' Paris tapped the soldier onto his shoulder and gave him a poor attempt at a smile. Zandra and the soldier stood and looked at Paris for a second before the soldier looked over at his general like he was waiting for her acceptance. Zandra gave him a small nod and traded the soliders hands for Paris's.

''What do you want?'' Zandra hissed quietly as she avoided eye-contact with her co-general and ex-boyfriends.

''I think Tulio might know, he had visit Nick in the hospital.'' Paris told her in a quite tone.

''And?'' Zandra hissed back, more angrily than before.

''What if he tells Chel, or anyone for that matter. Do you have any idea of the consequences that could have?'' Paris asked her again, getting quite irritated himself. Zandra stopped dancing and stood to look at him.

''You know what? I really couldn't care less if Chel would find out!'' She hissed furiously, but still in a quite tone so nobody else would hear.

''Maybe I should go tell her myself, or even better, make some kind of public announcement right here. Maybe it hadn't been such a bad idea if everyone found out who the real Paris Lestrange really is.'' Paris could see the burning anger for him into her eyes and he hated that she felt that away towards him

''It wasn't me and you it! It was years ago and I'm not the same person today.'' He spat back at her. Zandra just starred at him for a second before shaking her head and was about to walk away, but Paris managed to grab her arm and made her face him again.

''Zan, I just want you to be happy.'' He sighed sadly and let go of his grip. Zandra eyed him for a second.

''It's a little bit late for that isn't it?'' She said in a bitter tone before walking away. Paris looked after her sadly and let out a deep sigh.

''Is everything okay?'' He heard a familiar voice behind him and faced Chel dressed in a long plum coloured ball gown.

''She still wishes I was the one that got sent to the Omega Dimension. I just hoped that she had warmed up to me slightly.'' Paris sighed sadly.

''She missed her brother, I guess I can relate if it had been Riven or Tulio. Just give her some time.'' She smiled and stroke his cheek slightly. Paris smiled and took her hand in his and planted a kiss onto it.

''I hope you're right. But right now I want to dance with my gorgeous wife.'' He said and lifted her head slightly by tilting her cheek with his finger and planted a long and passionate kiss onto her lips.

As the night sky became darker and the stars became brighter, Oliver and Dawn left the throne-room and went outside into the courtyard to get some fresh air.

They walked together for a short moment and Dawn took a hold of Oliver's arm and hugged it slightly.

''Are you cold?'' He asked concerned as he looked at Dawn's bare arms and shoulders in her navy blue strapless ball gown.

''A little.'' She smiled slightly and nodded her head. Oliver quickly took off his uniform jacket and put it around her shoulders. Because after all, Oliver was a gentleman.

She accepted it and wrapped the bigger jacket around her slim body as they walked over to a bench nearby. They sat there together and talked for a few minutes before Dawn suddenly changed the seriousness in her voice.

''Oliver, I just wanted to tell you that I'm really grateful for everything you have done for me.'' She said with a weak smile. Oliver frowned his eyebrows slightly.

''Don't look like that, you know what you've done.'' Dawn giggled. Oliver chuckled slightly. Not only had he probably saved her life that day when he found her, but he's been there helping her as well. Another few seconds past.

''Mista has promised to help me with my powers. Learning me more about them and to handle them properly.'' Dawn said eventually.

''Well from what I hear Powerix is one of the most powerful transformation, not many have the opportunity to gain it.'' Oliver said with a warm smile. Dawn nodded with a smile before it faded away again.

''But she needs to go back to her planet, and she asked me to go with her.'' She said sadly. Oliver's smile faded as well.

''You're moving?'' He asked.

''Well, my family is gone. There isn't really anything keeping me hare anymore, just painful memories.'' Dawn sighed sadly again. Oliver didn't really find any words to say. Of course he was sad to see her leave, but on the other hand he knew that going with Mista was the best thing for her.

''And it would be easier if…. you would come with me.'' Dawn whispered carefully, which threw Oliver back a bit. It came completely out of the blue. Yes, they had grown quite close this last couple of weeks, but it had never been anything romantically between them. Or had it?

Dawn looked over at him with red cheeks and a hopeful light into her eyes. Oliver didn't really know what to answer. What did he feel for Dawn? Could there be something between the two of them? Could he just leave Zandra to run everything by herself? Or could he leave her overall?

''I… I need some time to think about it. Okay?'' Oliver said with a smile. Dawn's smile grew wider and suddenly she had pressed her lips against his. It had surprised them both apparently as they broke apart and starred each other, both blushing. But soon they both leaned in towards each other again and shared another long kiss. Totally unaware that they were being watch from the balcony above.

Zandra had walked outside to catch some fresh air from her situation with Paris, and when she had looked down into the courtyard and saw the two lip lock, she didn't know if she was either furious or heartbroken. But if it was either anger or sadness, her eyes started to well up.

What is it that Paris is so afraid of and that everybody else finds out about it?

Declan and Fiona seems to grow closer, could there be a potential future for them?

Dawn asking Oliver to go with her to Apolize and leave Zandra? What or rather who will he choose?

Next time, Oliver makes up his mind about whenever to stay or to go, Fiona might find something that she would like to do with her life
