I'll love you unconditionally
The next morning the storm was gone and there was even a glimpse of the sun. Paris still hadn't been able to contact Tulio and the others, because there was no reception. The power had been knocked out because of the storm.
Amazonia was in labour, the royal family was not even on the same planet, Jack and Breanna was at the mansion, Fiona with Declan or at the hospital, Zandra hates their guts and even if they could they wouldn't contact her anyway. And it's not like he could just leave Amazonia all by herself to get help. Paris walked back into the bedroom where Amazonia was.
''There is no way to contact anybody, I don't know what to do!'' He rambled on in panic.
''Can't you hold it in?'' He added and earned a very not so friendly glare back from Amazonia. But she stopped when the next contraction came.
''I want Tulio here.'' She cried while holding both of her hands onto her stomach.
''You have to check how much I'm dialated.'' She said and looked at him. Paris suddenly got more pale then he already was.
''NO WAY! HELL NO!'' He spat and ran around the room like a headless chicken.
''YOU HAVE TO!'' She spat back at him.
Somewhere completely else in the magic dimension, Tulio passed back and forth in his bedroom at Ruby's.
''The person you are trying to reach can't…'' The mechanical voice said from his phone before he hung up.
''Where is she?!'' He hissed angrily as he tried to call Amazonia once again, but yet again he got to her voice-mail. He started to get worried now, it was not like her to have her phone turned off. He walked outside the room and down the stairs where Riven, Chel and Musa sat.
''Have anyone off you talked to Amazonia today? I just keep getting to her voice-mail.'' He asked. Chel turned her head over to her younger brother.
''I can't reach Paris either.'' She said and frowned her eyebrows before sipping on her morning tea.
''Apparently there was a big storm back home last night, it must have hit the electricity off. Her phone probably just got uncharged and she can't charge it up again.'' Musa said in a calming voice and took a bit from her fruit salad.
''I hope you're right.'' Tulio replied her, but for some reason he got an unpleasing feeling about this whole thing.
Paris walked all over the beach-house, trying to find a reception. The living-room, the hallway, upstairs, but nothing yet. And there! By the stove he was one bar. He dialled Tulio's number and said a pray.
''Were the hell have you been?'' He could hear Tulio hiss from the other side of the line. He never thought that he would ever be so happy to hear Tulio's voice.
''Just shut up and listen!'' Paris hissed back, worrying that the signal would go away. Tulio sat together with Riven, Musa, his parents and some of his aunts and uncles.
''A storm? When?'' Tulio asked. Then his face became pale.
''Her water broke?! Have you called the healer?'' Tulio exclaimed as the tone of his voiced pitched dramatically.
''Well who's going to check to see when she's ready?'' He added,
''You're not a doctor Paris!'' Tulio hissed again,
''Hello? Paris? Hello?!'' The signal disappeared again. Tulio sat still for a very short second before he stood up quickly.
''I NEED TO GET HOME!'' He exclaimed as he started to hyperventilate. Amazonia was in labour. He was going to become a father in only a couple of hours. He wasn't even sure that he was going to make it home before the baby would be born.
While being egged on by the others to hurry up and go home to be with his wife, Tulio didn't bother to even pack his things together. On his way out, he stopped and looked at Musa.
''What is wrong with you women? Can't you hold it in until we are at least at the same planet.'' He said before rushing out the front door, leaving Musa completely stunned and Riven bursting out in laughter.
Paris sat by the end of the bed with Amazonia, softly patting her onto her legs. It had passed a few hours since he had spoken to Tulio and still hadn't heard from him again. Amazonia tried to breath her way through a strong contraction.
''Where is he? I need him here!'' She cried out in pain as she held her hands onto her heavily pregnant stomach.
''I'm sure he will be here soon. He won't let anything stop him from being here.'' Paris smiled trying to comfort her the best he could, and in that moment they could hear the front door open and slam shut.
''Am?'' Tulio's voice called from the hallway.
''We're in here!'' Paris called out for him and only a few seconds later, Tulio stood into the doorway. Amazonia let out a huge sigh in relief as she saw him.
''You're here!'' She exclaimed. Tulio hurried over to the bed and sat down next to her.
''Of course I'm here, were else would I be?'' He said and planted a kiss onto her forehead.
''You said that you would wait for me.'' He added with a smile. Amazonia let out a slight chuckle.
''Well tell that to however who's in here.'' She replied him and stroke her stomach softly, before another contraction came.
''It's time.'' She cried. Both Tulio and Paris exchanged nervous looks.
''Now? Already? Are you sure?'' Paris asked. Amazonia nodded her head as she tried to breath through the contraction.
''Alright, move over.'' Tulio said to Paris and rolled up his sleeves.
''NO! Paris do it!'' Amazonia said between her heavy breathing and took Tulio's hand in hers. Tulio was about to protest, but he knew that this wasn't a very good moment to argue. If it was what Amazonia wanted, then so be it.
He took her hand in one of his own and let her back rest against the other arm. Paris rolled up his own sleeves and folded up the cover that was covering Amazonia's lower regions.
''Alright, push when you're ready.'' Paris told her. Loud screams could be heard from the beach-house as waves keep on flushing up and down onto the beach. They didn't know for how long, probably half an hour Amazonia kept on pushing, but it felt like hours.
''Come on Amazonia, the head is almost out.'' Paris said.
''I can't, I can't do this anymore.'' Amazonia cried as sweat ran down her forehead.
''Yes you can! Come on baby, just keep thinking about holding our baby.'' Tulio whispered into her ear. Amazonia panted heavily before pushing one more time.
''That's it! The head is out, just one big final push.'' Paris said. Amazonia nodded and gathered all the strength she had left to forget the pain and focused onto that final push. And soon after she could hear the loud strong baby screams.
''It's a boy.'' Paris smiled widely as he hold up their baby for them to see.
''Liam.'' Amazonia whispered as she looked at the beautiful screaming creature into Paris's hands. Tears started to well up in hers and in Tulio's eyes as well.
Aaaaw so it was a boy after all! Welcome baby Liam!
