You're the best thing that's ever been mine

Amazonia laid in bed holding a bundle in her arms close to her chest. She carefully stroke her new-born son's velvet soft red hair with her finger. Red hair like his father, but his big blue bright eyes came from her.

Liam was not even a day old yet, but Amazonia had barely let him out of her sight. And she doubted that she ever would, she was convinced that she would want to spend every waking moment together with him. Now when he was actually here, all those fears that she had was gone, like they never had existed.

She was so caught up with the miracle in her arms that she didn't notice that she was being watched from the doorway.

''Damn that's beautiful!'' Tulio sighed in bliss as he looked at the sight of the woman he loved holding their baby in her arms. Two of the people that he loved the most.

''How long have you been there?'' Amazonia giggled as she looked over at her husband. Tulio slowly walked over to her and carefully sat down besides her.

''Not long enough.'' He replied her as he wrapped one of his arms around her shoulders and placed the other around his son.

''I can't believe he's here. That it was actually him all this time that was inside me.'' Amazonia sighed happily as she leaned her head onto Tulio's shoulder. Tulio smiled widely as he planted a kiss onto her head. Was it really legal to be this happy? He didn't think it was possible to love Amazonia more that he did. But when he saw Liam when he was born, watching Amazonia go through the pain to bring their son to this world, the love for her grew even more.

''He's perfect. Just like you.'' He whispered

''What are we going to call him? I mean his full name.'' Amazonia asked as she looked up at her husband. Tulio thought for a second before smiling slightly.

''I think I might have an idea.'' He replied her.

Back with the others, Ruby was getting worse. But having her family, all of her family around her made this easier somehow. Musa and Chel sat by Ruby's bedside, telling her all about Melody and Teddy, and once in a while Ruby's face brightened up with a smile and even a laugh.

There was a knock onto the door and Topaz stepped inside. She held her cell-phone close to her chest and had tears in her eyes, happy tears.

''I just talked to Tulio.'' Topaz began as she sat down next to her mother and took a hold of her hand.

''They are going to name the baby Liam Heston.'' She added with a wide smile. Heston had been the name of her own father while he was still alive. Ruby closed her eyes and a weak but wide smile grew across her lips.

''Heston would have liked that, he would have been very honoured.'' Ruby said in a weak whispered.

''Soon I'll finally be with him again.'' Ruby added and sighed relieved. All three of them looked at the dying woman sadly. Musa dried a tear from her eye, Chel wrapped her arms around her mothers waist and leaned her head against her shoulder.

''Don't cry.'' Ruby said as she opened her eyes again.

''I've been waiting many years for this.'' She added with a wide smile.

Back in Eldorado, Jack had quit work for today and decided to go and get some dinner. And what better place to get it where your girlfriend works? He walked inside the bakery doors and saw Breanna behind the counter.

''Hey.'' He grinned and walked up to the counter. Breanna stood biting her nail before turning around to look at him.

''Hi.'' She replied him, looking slightly distressed. Jack frowned his eyebrows slighty and leaned over the counter.

''What is it with you? You have been acting strange ever since yesterday.'' Jack whispered. Breanna looked at him for a second.

''Hello Miss? Can we get some more coffee?'' An older man that sat by one of the tables asked and help his empty mug in his hand.

''Right away Sir.'' Breanna replied him and took the pot from the coffee maker. Before walking over to the customer she leaned over the counter to Jack.

''I'm late. I should have got my period two days ago.'' She whispered before going over to serve the customer. Jack's chin feel to the floor as he looked after her in surprise. When Breanna came back, Jack leaned over the counter again.

''You're pregnant?'' He asked. Breanna put the pot back and wrapped her arms around herself.

''I don't know, but I guess it's possible.'' She said and shrugged her shoulders slightly. Jack ran a hand through his black hair.

''Haven't you taken one of those tests?'' He asked.

''Not yet.'' She shook her head. Jack stood up straight, put his hands on his hips before sighing deeply.

''Alright, what do we do now?'' He asked again.

Fiona and Declan laid in bed, in the middle of the day. It felt like this was all they did, and neither of them mind. Fiona couldn't think off any better way to spend her time then in here with him.

''I've been thinking about something.'' She said and leaned over his chest. Declan looked at her as he brushed his hand through her long green hair.

''What?'' He asked with a smile.

''Don't you think that it's time that we discuss this thing that is happening? Between us I mean.'' She added and trailed her fingers over his cheek, down his neck and over his chest.

''What is this thing between us exactly? He asked again with a mischievous smirk. Fiona bit her lip and avoided to look at him.

''I mean, I wouldn't mind calling you my…. boyfriend.'' Fiona whispered and pulled the covers over her head slightly, trying to hide that fact that she was blushing.

''Well, I wouldn't mind calling you my girlfriend.'' She could hear Declan's muffled voice from outside the covers. Fiona plucked up the courage to lower the fabric again and peeked up from behind them.

''Really?'' She asked quietly. Declan smiled and brought her face closer to his.

''Really.'' He whispered as their lips brushed against each other before clashing together in a passionate kiss.

Tulio carefully helped Amazonia walking down to the beach while she was carrying their son. A couple of metres out into the ocean there was four figures waiting for them. Amazonia and Tulio stepped into the water and walked towards them until they had water up to their waist.

Reff, Cora and Amazonia's older sisters all ''oh'' and ''aw'' over their new family member. Amazonia carefully handled her son over to her older sister Marina who cradled him carefully into her arms.

''Oh look, he has your eyes.'' Marisa, her other sister exclaimed happily as Liam slowly opened his eyes to look up at his aunts.

''What are you going to call him?'' Reff asked and smiled over at his niece before peeking at the baby over his wife shoulder.

''Liam.'' Amazonia beamed happily as she brought her finger over to Liam for him to grip, which he did. All four of the mermaids looked up at Amazonia, first surprised, then not at all, then all touched.

''After daddy.'' Marina smiled as a tear ran down her check.

During that night, everybody stood gathered in Ruby's bedroom. It was crowded, but that all wanted to be there, except the kids that was sleeping in their beds. Ruby's children, their husbands and wives, her grand-children.

Musa sat curled up into Riven's embrace and cried softly. Miguel embraces his daughter and comforted her. Topaz and her siblings sat all gathered around their mother as she her breathing got more and more heavily and wheezing.

''Don't cry, don't be sad. Take care and love each other.'' Ruby whispered quietly.

''Don't feel sorry for me, because I'll soon be reunited with the man I love.'' She added before closing her eyes. She took another few breaths before her chest stopped rising. And suddenly she was gone.

Could Breanna really be pregnant? And if she is, what will this mean for her and Jack's future? Could they really raise a child together in secret?

Fiona and Declan is officially a couple! Yay!
