Chapter 33: Disaster
Leo knew this was going to be a big disaster.
He watched as Mikey cuddled the Yorkshire terrier that he had found in the sewers that day.
"Can we keep him, Leo?" Mikey asked his older brother, his baby blue eyes giving him that puppy dog look that no one could resist.
"I don't think Sensei will allow it," Leo answered.
"He will when he sees how cute he is," Mikey insisted.
Leo sighed as they headed home and Mikey appealed to Splinter to keep him.
Their father gave his son a stern gaze. "Absolutely not," he said. "You already have Ice Cream Kitty and you sometimes forget to take care of her as well. This dog must go to a home where he will be cared for."
"Hai, Sensei," Mikey said.
The dog was running around and nipped Splinter's tail.
"Time to go, buddy," Mikey said as he noticed the stern look on his father's face.
Yep, this definitely would have turned into a disaster.
