35. Chapter 35

Chapter 35: Goodwill

It wasn't something she was used to, but she had never been raised the way others had been.

Karai only knew about hate and vengeance and doing anything you could to win.

But as she presented the bag of groceries to the Mighty Mutanimals, she felt really good about what she was doing.

Splinter had taught her that doing a good deed was something that was its own reward.

Sometimes it felt good to do an act of goodwill for someone else.

"Thanks for the stuff," Slash told her.

She smiled at the larger mutant and his gratitude for the good deed she had done.

"You're welcome," she replied.
