Chapter 47: Toxic
She smiles as she sees him approach her.
This is the first time they have seen each other since Shredder controlled her mind.
Now she is free of the control and is completely herself again.
Well, all except for still being able to transform into a snake, but she's okay with that now.
He pulls her into an embrace and she breathes in his scent.
"I missed you, Karai," he says.
"I missed you too, Leo," she replies.
He cups her cheek and kisses her lips.
She melts into the kiss, happy that what was once seen as toxic has now become something wonderful.
Leo is no longer her enemy.
He is now the one she is able to love freely with her whole heart.
A/N: I loved writing this one and I do ship Leorai. I know many may not agree with the pairing because of Karai being Splinter's daughter, but I feel that since they weren't raised together and she isn't living with them as a family that it's totally acceptable for them to be together.
