A/N: I can't believe it's been over a year since I have posted. All I can say is that I am extremely sorry and real life has been kicking my butt. I hope to post again soon, but at this point no promises, because I don't want to lie.
Thank you to my betas!
I hope you enjoy the chapter and I promise I will never abandon a story, even if it takes me forever to finish it.
The Visits
Severus Snape stormed into the Headmaster's office after throwing up numerous shields around his mind. Dumbledore was not the Legilimens, the Dark Lord was, but the Potions Master wasn't taking any chances with his son's life.
"Have you found him yet?" Dumbledore asked irritably as he looked up from the map on the table in front of him.
"Not yet. My next stop will be at Hermione Granger's. I have a feeling when the brat gets hungry, he'll go there. I've already talked to Remus and the wolf isn't hiding him."
"Are you sure about that?"
"I laced his tea with Veritaserum, my newest blend works on wolves," Severus said with a sneer.
"Someone's hiding him or we would've found him by now. Do you think a Death Eater may have gotten to him?"
"I'm sure I would have heard one of them boasting if they had. I asked Lucius to keep his ears open. Are you sure the Weasleys haven't heard anything?"
"No, I read the four boys, besides Molly and Arthur are loyal, they wouldn't betray me."
"What about the Weasley girl?"
"She's innocent and hasn't met Harry yet, so there's no reason for her to hide him."
"So my hunch is probably right and I'll find him with Miss Granger. She's all he has left," Severus said.
"Severus, when you do find him, bring him here before you take him back to the Dursely's. I want to ensure the boy understands the importance of staying at home with his Aunt and Uncle."
"I will," Severus said before striding out of the Headmaster's office. Not noticing the two large sad eyes watching him as he walked out of the office.

Lucius shuddered as a cold feeling of terror traveled down his spine. As he walked down the dark depressing hallway, Lucius wondered if he would ever forgive himself for leaving his wife's innocent cousin to the soul sucking horrors of the Dementors for the past eleven years.
Sirius Black was shocked when the Dementors were called off his cell 24 hours ago. That only meant one thing, he was getting a visitor and the visitor was someone of importance. Now as he walked to the visitor area he understood why, but was shocked because it was the last person he expected to ever see. The Peacock Patronus guarding his cousin's arrogant husband was not a surprise, and brought a smile to his face.
"A smile in Azkaban, I wasn't expecting that Sirius," Lucius said, returning the smile.
"Your Peacock Patronus isn't a surprise, you've always been an arrogant ponce, Malfoy. Your being here has me intrigued," Sirius said, turning the chair around before sitting on it.
"I need some information."
"And I would give that to you why?" Sirius asked, with a raised eyebrow.
"Is your freedom a good enough reason?"
"Why would I want freedom? What kind of freedom would I have, where everyone thinks I betrayed my best mate and Lily. Besides freedom without Mooney isn't worth living? As long as Harry's safe with his prat of a Father, I have no problem staying here to live with the shame of my failures," Sirius said not able to hide the deep despair in his voice.
"Sirius, what do you mean a freedom without Mooney? Remus will never forgive himself for letting you rot in here if you didn't betray James and Lily."
Sirius looked up at the shock in Lucius' voice.
"Dumbledore said Remus was killed that night too…" Sirius said his voice finally cracking.
"Remus is absolutely fine. He's…"
"What do you mean, Remus is fine? Why would Dumbledore lie about that?" Sirius demanded standing up flipping his chair over in anger.
"Is everything ok in here?" A guard asked hearing the raised voice and ruckus.
"We're fine," Lucius said as Sirius picked his chair back up and sat down. The second the guard closed the door," Lucius asked.
"What did Dumbledore tell you? Better yet, why didn't Dumbledore speak up for you or demand a trial? Who was the Potter's secret keeper if it wasn't you?"
"Malfoy, I don't answer to you," Sirius snapped his anger starting to get the better of him, "All you've ever been is a pain in my arse. I care about two people in this world, Remus and Harry, so unless you're here because of them, I've got nothing to say."
"I'm actually here on the behalf of Harry and Severus."
"Is Harry ok? That stupid arse didn't muck up all of our hard work did he?"
Sirius asked, his anger rising another ten degrees. He hadn't felt this angry since he went after Peter. "That depends on what you mean. If your hard work included Harry living with the Dursleys for the past ten years, being physically and mentally abused by those horrid muggles while my brother wasn't aware that he was Harry's father, than no the "stupid arse" didn't muck up your hard work," Lucius said harshly and watched as horror crossed Sirius' face and tears fill his grey eyes.
"I don't believe it. Dumbledore set us all up. He knew about Peter, he knew I was innocent, but he said my staying here would keep Harry and Severus safe. He told me they would be together and promised that Harry would never go to Petunia and her beast of a husband. I didn't mind being sent to Azkaban because he told me that Greyback had finally killed Mooney and he promised Harry would be safe with Snivellus. Oh god what did I do? He kept me here so I wouldn't tell Snivellus the truth. Lily, James, I failed you again," Sirius said and broke down completely.
Lucius got up and pulled the younger man into his arms.
"Listen Sirius, Remus is alive and well. He's waiting for you. In fact, when I tell him the truth, I'm going to need your help calming him down or he'll kill Sev and myself."
"Yeah, Mooney can have a bit of a temper," Sirius said with a sly smile, before adding, "How are you going to get me out of here?"
"I'm Lucius Malfoy. I can do anything," Lucius said with his usual arrogance.
"Still an arrogant ponce, I don't know how Cissy puts up with you."
"Keep yourself together and I promise to have you out soon. My next question is, do I tell Remus now or when I get you out?"
"Oh, my dear Mooney and I have much to discuss. I want to be the first to let him know I'm free," Sirius said with fire in his eyes.
Lucius smiled before getting his stuff together.
"Luc, is Harry ok?"
"He will be. I think he's going to need everyone's help to get him through this. Let's just say Severus didn't put himself in the best light during Harry's first year at Hogwarts, so upon learning that his most hated teacher was his father hasn't been all candy and flowers."
"I guess Lily's spell took a bit too well. Is he a carbon copy of James?"
"Like you wouldn't believe, but he's his mother's son in personality and has her beautiful green eyes."
"I can't wait to meet him."
"Let that thought keep your mind together until I can get you out of here."
With that Lucius was gone and the Dementors came back into Sirius' life. As they walked back to the cell, Sirius felt a surge of magic and decided that maybe he would spend the next few weeks as Padfoot.

Draco walked into Harry's room the next morning debating if he should wake him up or not. As he watched the younger boy sleep, he realized just how small he really was. Why hadn't he seen it before? All last year he had challenged him, hexed him, and tormented him because he was jealous of his fame. But now that he knew what kind of life Harry had lived, he wouldn't change lives with the boy who lived for all of his gold in Gringotts.
The black haired boy started to stir a few seconds later. Draco smiled when he saw the bright green eyes shining up at him.
"Did you get in trouble?"
"Not really. I had to spend some time in the corner, but I deserved it. I'm sorry I called you a freak, I was jealous because you can talk to my snakes and I can't," Draco said looking down. He decided to leave out the swats his Uncle delivered because he didn't want his new cousin to fear Uncle Sev.
"Am I going to get in trouble for the tree?"
"I told you yesterday that I liked it. It's really beautiful and adds to the decor," Lucius said, as he walked into the room. "But it did take a lot out of you, so you have to take it easy today."
"What do you mean it took a lot out of me?" Harry said sitting up slowly, he couldn't believe how tired he was.
"You exhausted your magical core. Wandless magic is very difficult and you young man, performed great feats of it yesterday. I think we may have to hire some tutors for you or you may lose that wonderful gift," Lucius said.
"Is Professor Snape mad?"
"Not at all, in fact your Father agrees with me about the tutors. Draco, if you wish you may join Harry with his lessons."
"Do you want me to Harry?" Draco asked. "I was a real git yesterday and all of last year. I really want to be your friend, if you'll let me."
Harry looked at Draco and decided that if he was going to be stuck here all summer, it would be nice to have a friend.
"Ok," Harry said shyly.

Severus apparited two blocks from Hermione Granger's house and walked swiftly up the street towards the beautiful row house. He honestly didn't know what he was going to say or do about the situation.
The Grangers could find themselves in danger just knowing that he was Harry's father, but he had promised both his son and the Gryffindor girl that she could come to the manor. The one thing he was sure of was that Hermione Granger may help improve his relationship with his son. That meant he was going to share the truth with Miss Granger tonight, but her parents were another matter completely.
"Professor Snape, is Harry ok?" Hermione asked without a proper greeting as soon as she realized who was at the door.
"Good evening to you as well Miss Granger," Severus said smoothly.
"Oh, I'm sorry. Good evening Professor Snape. I've just been really worried about Harry."
"I understand but I would prefer not to speak of such things on the street, so may I come in?" Severus asked.
"Yes sir, sorry sir," Hermione said as she led the Professor into the living room.
"Nice to see you again Professor, please take a seat," Dr. Wendell Granger said.
"Would you prefer tea or coffee?" Hermione's Mother asked.
"Coffee would be wonderful," Severus said as he sat down on an overstuffed chair in the corner of the room.
The second the Granger's sat down Severus discreetly slipped a mild sleeping potion into Hermione's parent's tea. His only hope was that Miss Granger didn't lose her head over this and listened to him before jumping to conclusions. Something he knew could be a struggle for most twelve-year-olds, especially this one. When the two eldest Granger's finally nodded off, Hermione stared at her Potion's Professor in horror.
"Before you go into hysterics I hope you'll allow me to explain," Severus drawled.
"I will only if you allow me to see Harry."
"That will depend on this conversation, but my hope is that you will return home with me for a couple of days at least," Severus said, before casting a silencing charm around the two of them.
Hermione took a deep breath and nodded her head. She knew with Harry, life was complicated. The poor boy could never catch a break.
"I need your oath that what we discuss tonight, you will not share with anyone, including your parents and Mr. Weasley. Harry's life, as well as my own, depend on it," Severus said seriously.
"You have it."
"Miss Granger, you will have to swear on your magic."
"I swear on my magic, that as long as your intentions are to help Harry James Potter, that whatever we discuss tonight will stay between Professor Snape, Harry Potter, and myself."
"Very wise Miss Granger. I forget how well read you are. Before we begin, is there anyway we can send your parents on a trip? I will be more than willing to fund said adventure."
"We were planning to leave for France at the end of the week, but they have already closed down the practice for the next month."
"Perfect. I will change the tickets and reservation so that they leave tonight. You will join them in one week, if that is acceptable for you."
"Why do my parents have to leave now? Are they in danger?"
"Yes, and I want certain people to believe that you are unavailable to help Harry right now."
"Who?"
"Professor Dumbledore."
"What does Professor Dumbledore have to do with this?" Hermione ask angrily. She was already angry with the man for sending Harry back with his Aunt and Uncle. She knew that Harry asked him not to. She had a feeling that Harry might have shared that he was being abused and the Headmaster had ignored him.
"The first thing you need to know is Harry is my son. I just found out about this a few days ago and have every intention of raising him in a loving and stable environment. Something he's never had in his life."
"How is that even possible?"
"I was married to Lily before James and I hope you don't need a lesson on how babies are conceived at your age but if you do I'd be happy to wake your mother," Severus said and smirked as Hermione turned bright red.
"No sir. How is Harry taking the news?"
"Not as well as I would have hoped and the fact that Lucius Malfoy is my adopted bother and Draco is my godson isn't helping the matter."
Hermione huffed she could just imagine how well Harry was taking that. Draco and Harry went together as well as oil and water.
"And you left him there with the two of them?"
"My position as a teacher and spy demanded that I did. I'm hoping as soon as this conversation is over we can return. I will have to leave yet again to inform Dumbledore of your location, but my hopes are that we will have the whole summer to get to know each other and work past our differences. My hopes are that you will help us through this rough patch as well and if you feel that Mr. Weasley could help once it's time for you to leave."
"Harry's going to want proof that you're his father. He has a hard time trusting adults."
"I plan on brewing a heredity potion tomorrow with help from you, Harry, and Draco. I think it will be a good team building activity."
"Or a chance for us to kill each other," Hermione said wryly.
Severus just shook his head at the teenager and told her to pack.
