67. Chapter 67

Chapter 67: Termites

"This wood is rotted," Mikey commented as inspected a wooden beam in the barn. "Looks like something chewed through it."

Donnie came over and inspected the beam. "It looks like the work of termites," he replied.

Raph stiffened. "Please tell me they aren't here," he begged. He hated bugs with a passion and they all knew it.

"I thought you were afraid of cockroaches, man," Casey said.

"I'm not afraid of cockroaches!" Raph protested. "I just don't like them."

"Hey, Raph, can you help me over here?" Mikey asked.

Raph nodded and hurried over to where his little brother was. Upon arriving, Raph leaned over and saw several termites crawling around. With a yell, he backed away and turned his angry green eyes on his brother.

"Eep!" Mikey said.

"You are so gonna pay for this one, Mikey," Raph said and proceeded to chase his younger brother out of the barn.

Needless to say, Mikey would never live this down.
